MAHOU SHOUJO COTC AU

This is a small introduction post to my COTC AU, a Magical girl one.

The story is simple, four characters from the show as Magical girls.

Brigid

Maya

Phoebe (Sparkle Cadet)

And Vanessa (Wildernessa)

In this AU they're are Sixteen year old, and i wanna inspire myself in dark topics. And you ask me: why is Sparkle Cadet and Wildernessa with this names? Simple, cuz they don't have canon names, so i decided to put it my own. (Maybe i'll make a bigger intoduction later with more information, but for now you guys will have this post and a small Sketch)

A teenaged Kelsey is hanging out with;Stacks, Wildernessa, Handlebarb and Toni and they are bonding with Toni scout recruits regarding nature.

I'll be honest, this is way too long for a drabble, but I couldn't help myself! Might not post it anywhere else because it breaks the 100 words exactly rule, but it was too fun to trim down! Thanks for the request!

"Okay, scouts, these are today's guests," Toni said, gesturing to the four friends he'd brought to their scout meeting.

Kelsey, Handlebarb, and Stacks waved, but Vanessa spoke up.  "Good afternoon, Forest Scouts," she told the group, "Today, we'll be discussing nature, and how to coexist with it.  As a Forest Scout, you have vowed to protect the environment."

Toni nodded his approval, and Kelsey gave her an encouraging thumbs up.

"That means doing whatever it takes to preserve nature," Vanessa continued with a new fierceness, "Would you be willing to give up everything to protect the Earth?  Would you live in the woods to look after the wildlife-!"

"Woah, chill, 'Nessa," Stacks cut in, "You're scaring them."

"Besides, we're here to help them get badges," Handlebarb reminded her, fidgeting with a couple cycling badges in their hands.

Vanessa looked over the sea of children in front of the five of them.  They all looked anxious.  "Ah," she peeped, "Sorry."

Hi, I wanted to know if you could just draw a picture of a fusion between Craig and Wildernessa if you can I don't judge you if you can't it's just like a question and a probable request if you can.

I don't do request but I'll let this one slide cuz I did have a concept for them thought up before hand. Introducing to the CotU au, Chert! An unusual gem who socializes more with the animals on earth over other gems 💎❤️🐶

For their fusion I focused their mentality on their first introduction with each other. Together they make Red Hematite!!

Two self aware gems constantly fighting over control. One prepared to fight blindly and the other ready to dig away/hide. If you listen to one side instead of the other, the other would take offense and believe you're against them. If it wasn't for their split personalities they'd be an unstoppable team 🪱💥

It does take him a while to learn from his mistakes, but there's several points where he tries and temporarily does so; meanwhile Wildernessa's rudeness isn't resolved at all until Breaking the Ice.

It's debatable whose behavior would be more irking, whether an attitude that is directed at you personally or generally at everyone.

They both act as a result of their backgrounds, Wildernessa bullies because she's channeling that from experience, Craig craves respect through discipline and scouting, the one thing that gets him acknowledged at home. Considering that he doesn't have any real authority at the creek, his actions are also just annoying at worst (maybe except invading the stump that one time; or in the instance of Fossil Rush but that was dealt with and redeemed). On the other hand, a repeated attack on your person could leave impact on your self-esteem, etc.

Yeah I agree that the argument shouldn't be that one is more annoying than the other (they're just annoying in different ways). Can't speak on the fanbase since I don't keep track of it, but that sounds a little extreme to believe. I would expect that the fondness for Jason comes from how he shows his soft/whiny side ever so often and how he and Craig manage to end on a friendly note repeatedly, and the distaste for Wildernessa as a love interest from how maybe out of the blue it came. and let's be real which fandom doesn't pick their ships at the start of the show and then cry when the creators take different directions

its so weird to me personally that some people think that it doesnt make sense for craig to be nice to wildernessa but still hate jason (up until scout guest), but to me the worst thing wildernessa has done is say that craig doesnt know shit about nature vs jason whos basically like "ok tony now hit the second tower" for the majority of his screentime, and people wonder why craig doesnt trust him most of the time huh

Some of y'all REAAALLLLLY mischaracterize Jason.

He isn't a sad little gay boy who's misunderstood and nice. He's a kid with trauma who shows out. I feel bad for him, but he isn't a little angel.

I feel like the double standard is used with him and wildernessa. People say she's "mean" and "annoying" but she's similar to Jason in certain ways. (Craig "rival", know it all, comes off kinda annoying, well written) But they're also different.

(not character hate, more so fandom hate in a way ig)

In all honestly the only mischaracterization I see for Jason is people saying he's a 'bully' or an irredeemable monster. The guy dammed up a creek and sprayed kids with a water gun not kick a puppy to the middle of the street.

I do agree, him and Vanessa do have some similarities, but they are pretty different from each other. I do feel like there's a sort of double standard of some kind with the two, I'm just confused how the crew made Craig immediately forgave Vanessa but made Craig continue hating Jason for the sake of it.

How would you imagine Vanessa getting together with Kelsey and Stacks? As in who would ask who and what would be the initial reaction before settling down together.

I imagine that Kelsey and Stacks talked about it together for a long time and then approached Vanessa to ask her out. Vanessa would be surprised but happy, and they'd go on a few dates as a throuple. Nothing dramatic, just a cute story they tell friends sometimes.
