I could ramble all day on how much I love the sleepover sequence in the Capture the Flag arc, but I wanted to take a screenshot of this moment to highlight just how much thought and time was put into this show. 

Jason is the only one in Xavier’s inner circle not to show any anger whatsoever when Craig reveals himself. The other three are either clenching their fists or have angry eyebrows. 

Jason’s expression is more neutral/concerned. 

Foreshadowing to the max and an amazing detail to pick up on when you know the truth about what’s going on with Jason.

Ok, I see you tried to prove it, good work anyway, but I don't really think that could be true. "JP has autism" sounds more likely, then down syndrome....

1. Flattened head

Wtf, no, it's just Cotc style, his head is absolutely normal in this show reality. A lot of characters have weird head form (Maney, Jason, Tony, Mark for ex.). Craig has flattened head, but that doesn't mean he has down syndrome

(Also there was actually an official art with JP in more realistic style, and his head seemed absolutely ok, just long).

2. Small head

His mother has small eyes, his sister has small eyes, some creek kids have small eyes. His nose isn't small, and also that doesn't count cause' his head is big. Children with down syndrome has much smaller head.

3. Short neck

Short?!??!? SHORT?!?!!

His neck is freaking long as hell, did you saw Tony's or Kelsey's necks?!?!? THEY ACTUALLY DON'T HAVE NECKS LOL

4. Protruding tongue

Idk his tongue seems regular.

5. Upwards landing eye lids

His eyes are actually two points with two stripes above—

6. Unusual shaped or small ears

Yeah, actually he has unusual ears shape, but I think it's just a family thing. Laura has the same ears shape, I think that's just because of their dad...

7. Poor muscle tone

Don't really think that count, a lot of kids doesn't have best muscle tone, cause' they are.... Kids? He's just not sportive kind of guy.

8. Broad, short hands with a single crease in the plam

His hands and palms look the same way other characters' hands and palms do. All the characters have the same hands length and all of them have no creases on their palms because of the artstyle

9. Excessive flexibility

Yeah, I actually agree with this one.

10. Tiny white spots on the colored part (iris) of the eye

Even in moment we could see his eyes colored, it was just brown and nothing more.

11. Short height

Paintball Mike's team are sixth graders too, but most of them seem even shorter then JP.

My opinion:

Most of arguments created out of thin air, so that's kinda unreasonably. He doesn't look like a kid with down syndrome, JP looks just like his mother and sister, there's no chance they ALL have down syndrome. 😐

Of course it's just a headcanon, but as I said I like to argue lol sorry

Since you have come to my autistic self, youre gonna get a full analysis then my opinion.

Flattened head

Based off pictures I’ve seen this might be true, but, so does his sister, so it could just be a family thing.

Small head

While his head is big, his eyes, eyebrows, and nose are quite small. So it’s possible.

Short neck

J.P’s neck is quite short. That’s it, that’s the post.

Protruding tongue

I personally haven’t seen his tongue long enough to know if it’s sticking out, but I don’t think it does.

Upwards slanting eye lids

His eye lids (crease?) are upwards so it’s possible.

Unusual shaped or small ears

This is true. Have you seen that boys ear? If you haven’t, or can’t, they look kinda like two bumps out on the side of his head.

Poor muscle tone

His muscle, from what we know, don’t seem to be the best, so this, to me, counts as true.

Broad, short hands with a single crease in the palm

Now, he does, if I remember correctly, have short hands, but we’ve never seen his palms. But I’ll count it as true.

Relatively short fingers and small hands and feet

This is true, compared to most kids his hands and fingers and quite small and short.

Excessive flexibility

Remember that episode they thought J.P was an Alien? Yeah, that’s true.

I don’t think this is true. Just based on what I’ve seen of his eyes.

Short height

This isn’t true, I don’t think, compared to other kids in the creek he’s pretty tall, but we haven’t really seen him next to kids his age.

Now, my opinion:

J.P fits most of the symptoms for having Down syndrome, so it’s very possible he could have it. Personally, I don’t headcanon it, but if you did I could understand why. Feel free to send me more headcanons and I’ll tell you how I feel about them!

its so weird to me personally that some people think that it doesnt make sense for craig to be nice to wildernessa but still hate jason (up until scout guest), but to me the worst thing wildernessa has done is say that craig doesnt know shit about nature vs jason whos basically like "ok tony now hit the second tower" for the majority of his screentime, and people wonder why craig doesnt trust him most of the time huh
