oof this is a hard one because i honestly have a hard time differentiating things and feelings and i'm just a mess. i feel like it kinda shifts around as i experience things but i have a lot of trauma related to sex and even relationships so i feel like that has made me not pursue them much and yeah if it happens it happens but i'm not actively seeking anything sexual or romantic

Not sure if it's ok to ask but what are you up to in Prague? I recently visited and looooved it. Bonus question, do you think it's a "good" city for foreigners to live/work in?

I’ve been living in Prague for the last three years. Coming to live here was something I did quite impulsively (I literally had only £500 to my name and one suitcase full of stuff), and I didn’t expect to have been here for as long as I have, but I fell in love with the city, plus it was covid lockdown, so mobility between other countries was very difficult. I love Prague, it’s such a beautiful place with so much history and fascinating culture. It’s a great city to live in, for sure, there’s always so much happening!

I’m working as an English teacher here at the moment, the work itself is alright, but I’m barely scraping by money-wise. I think it would definitely be possible for foreigners to live and work in Prague, but teaching English as a job is not very sustainable imo. However, there are many big international companies here, and I know plenty of expats who are able to live pretty comfortably doing those kinds of jobs.

I do love Prague, and part of my heart will always belong here, but ultimately, I never planned to live here forever, and so I’m beginning to look into (most likely) returning to the UK
