Tw: Mentions of war, skypeople mentioned, fire, blood, mentions of na’vi sacrifices, mentions of cannibalism, the clan isn’t very friendly at first, mentions of death, Neteyam isn’t dead, mentions of titties out and about.
Author’s note: I didn’t know how to start with this, sorry if it feels rushed, I just didn’t know how to begin the story. I also used a translator for Yucaten, I’m sure if its accurate sentences, so don’t take it seriously. I tried to fit in things that you guys had commenting. This time for the songs, I’m not sure what kind of music I’ll be adding, I might add Korn or Rammstein . I am also trying to make this parts as long as possible, to give you guys more to read because, I feel as if I’m not writing enough. I hope you like the first part, leave a comment, I’d like to hear some feedback.
P.s. Don’t worry, I’m still working on Fish Girl. Also thank you to everyone who has helped me! I really appreciate it. :)

A year has passed since the war, many had suffered the consequences. Now no one knew for sure if a war will happen again. So both Tonowari and Jakesully had had a discussion on forming an alliance with other clan. “It is our best option, we can’t risk this happening again, who knows if they’ll be back” Jake told the chief who was thinking, he knew of a clan that lived in the South but he wasn’t sure if they should seek for their help.
“I know of a clan, they live in the South, but I must warn you, they’re not the friendliest” Tonowari told the other na’vi. Ronal then spoke “They’re also a female dominated clan, it would be best that I or Neytiri go to negotiate.” she said as she held her months old child close to her. “We have to at least try, if not them, we’ll try another one.” Jake said “Alright, we shall seek for their help, or like you said, we should at least try. It was settled then, both the male will try and negotiate with the clan from the South.
The next week, Ronal along with Ao’nung, Neteyam and Neytiri were on their way to the South, they thought it would be safe that they only took their eldest in case of anything. Neither Ronal and Neytiri wanted to leave but it was for the safety of their people.
They had said their goodbyes to their families before leaving on their ilus and Neytiri on her Banshee, still sadden that they had to leave for who knows how long. The trip took a total of almost two weeks, the south was very far, until finally they got to the South. They arrived at an island with a huge volcano in the middle of the island. Once they got off their ilus they group began to walk into the jungle in search of the clan. They had their weapons in case of anything.
They had been walking for what felt hours, tired from their week long trip. Hoping to find the village soon. Until they had come across noises, the group got close towards the noise. Then they saw a group of women, this woman were different, they had pale white skin instead of blue, instead of stripped markings they had slightly darker dotted patterns, their eyes looked an amber or red color, and their hair was also a pale color. They were na’vi for sure, they also had different attire, some had their whole body covered while others displayed their chest out with no coverings of any kind.
The group didn’t know how to approach them “How do we approach them?” Neteyam asked his mother who seemed to be thinking. “I’m not sure, should we make our selves present first” Neytiri suggested as Neteyam spoke “that’s the safest option, is best that we show them peace since we don’t know what they’re capable off” he said, all agreeing.
Neytiri was the first one to step out, making the women stare at her, they looked at her with curiosity then they got their weapons and held them up, some even hissing at them if they stared a bit too much, they noticed their fangs were slightly longer and sharper, along with their finger nails, their nails were longer and sharper too. “I’m sorry to interrupt but, we ask you to take us to your leader” she said as now Ronal, Neteyam and Ao’nung stepped out. The woman had them surrounded, looking at them and seeing their different features. Both Neteyam and Ao’nung greeted them with the gesture of ‘I see you’. “Where are they from?” “What kind of Na’vi are they?” they asked among each other.
One of the women, wearing only a skirt that was wrapped around her waist and went down to her calf came close. She didn’t have anything that covered her chest, she had blue and black paint on her face and chest, her hair was laying on her back. Neytiri was looking at her face, not wanting to show any kind of disrespect. “You wish to speak to our ahaw ?” she asked as Neytiri nodded. “Yes, we wish to speak to them” she said then the woman nodded and signaled them to follow her. As the group walked the woman followed.
They walked for a little while until they got to their village, the village was bigger than they expected. Their was small houses everywhere, a small river in the middle in which boats were, most of the villagers their were women, children, and a few men, they had never seen such a place. The woman guided group towards a large stair case, into a platform. A small crowed formed around them, they looked just the women, they had pale skin and amber or red eyes. They looked at them, mumbling towards one another, the children near by looked amazed by the small group.
The woman stopped in the middle of the steps, then asked for someone to go get their ahaw, the group remained surrounded by the woman who lead them into the village, mean while the villagers that had surrounded them were trying to get a better look. “Who are they?” “Are they from the forest?”” “Why are their tales that way?” That’s what they heard until they saw three figures coming down what seemed a pyramid like building with a bunch of stairs, one of a older woman and two other figures following.
The older woman was wearing a dress that went from her chest to her ankles, the colors were of both red and orange. She had on white paint on her chest and arms with red lines on her hands and red surrounding her forehead to jawline. She wore what seemed to be a jade beaded web like neckless that went from her neck and down her shoulders. She also has a huge nose ring, big earrings, and lastly she wore a large feathered headdress, the feathers were the colors same colors as her attire.
“Nicté, they requested your presence” the woman from before said then the woman who they assumed is the ahaw. “I see you” the woman did the gesture and they repeated it. “What is it that you seek? Why did has the forest and water na’vi come here?” she asked, making the crowd mumble amoung themselves, as Neytiri spoke. “We came to as for an Alliance with you.” she said, then Nicté smirked and laughed, others laughing with her. “You, Naytiri, have come to ask for help? Why is that? Has your mate been causing more trouble I assume?” she asked looking at the other na’vi. “The sky people, they might return at any time but we aren’t so sure when, we want to be prepared and we wish for your help.” She said making the ahaw to speak.
“And why should we help you? Wasn’t your mate  Toruk Makto?” She asked looking at Neytiri. This time it was Ronal who spoke. “Yes, he was, but we still need your help, the sky people may come back, and stronger than before, if we don’t do anything, they will take our home.” She said, now pleading. “Hm, I see, well if you want our help, you must learn like us. You must evolve like us, fight like us, ride like us, and learn the ways of fire and ash.” Nicté said giving her a closer look.
“We will, we will learn your ways” Ronal spoke, as the woman then had moment of thought. “Very well, y/n, Yolotli” she called out for two people, two younger na’vi came close. The na’vi looked just like their mother, but their eyes were a deep red. They wore a top that seamed to be made out of bones and beads that fitted their chest perfectly. For the bottom they wore a skirt made out of red feathers, leather with jade on the front of the leathers, the waist band had larger pieces of jade with some bones hanging onto down. They also had their calf and feet wrapped in dark leather. They also wore a jade neckless around their neck, they also had large jade earrings on both ears, a nose piece that was placed on the bridge of their nose, and four strings with jade beads that were on both nostrils of their. They also had some kind of painted markings on their face, and finally a similar crown like headpiece adorned with red feathers. Their hair wasn’t too long or short, it landed on her shoulder blades, and the ends were what seemed to be dyed a deep red.
The girl next to y/n, had eyes just like their sibling, she wore a brown leather top with tassels on the sides, with green colored beads that hanged on the bottom. She had on a black beaded hip scarf, she wore big jade earrings, her bottom lip was pierced with a small jade cylinder, on her brows she also had on two sets of jade jewelry, two strings of jade beaded strings on both her nostrils and her neck was adorned with loads of different sized jade necklaces. Her hair was down and long, it reached her mid back, she also had her ends colored red and she had the same face markings painted on her face. She didn’t have a headdress like her mother and y/n. She gave them a toothy smile “I see you” she said using the greeting gesture.
“This are my twins, y/n and Yolotli,  they will be ones to teach your children”  Nicté said as the oldest na’vi spoke “ Ba'ale' na', Ba'axten K'a'abet in -” but mother why do I have to- they were cut off by their mother “ Mak a chi'ex, u jala'ach wíinik t'aan, teech k'a'abéet a ka'ansik ti' leti'ob, lelo' definitivo.” silence, the chief speaks, you are to teach them, that is final she said. Y/n rolled her eyes and hissed in anger, clearly frustrated by this, it was clear that she didn’t want that duty. “Y/n please take our guest and give them a home, they must be exhausted from their trip” Nicté told her child, y/n nodded and motioned them to follow them.
Y/n was guiding the group into the village, some villager kept eyeing them as the group walked down the path. The group noticed kids running around with torches lit with fire, some even had fire in their small hands, showing it off to who they assumed was their parents. Some villagers were giving them some nasty looks, as if they didn’t want them here for being different from them. Finally they got to their small home, y/n walked over to the small entrance of the home. It was big enough to fit four na’vi. “This will be were you’ll be staying” they said as the group walked in looking at the home. “If you do not like it, then you can leave” y/n said with an attitude and clearly angry, they reminded Neytiri of herself when she first met Jake. “No, its great, thank you very much” Neytiri said turning to the small party, y/n left them to get settled in.
After all of them had their rest, a girl known as Yolotli walked in holding a basket of what they assumed was food, y/n walked in after her with a big plate. “Good evening, I’ve brought you something to eat” she said as she placed the food on the table. She said as Ronal asked her. “You’re their sister?” she asked as Yolotli nodded. “Yes, well I hope you enjoy the food” she said with a smile and left. She had brought enough food for the four of them. They each got their own portion and ate, Yolotli had brought them corn, squash, some fruit and something called tamales, they were very spicy but everything was eaten, they had not eaten properly the whole week, only eating raw fish.
“Tomorrow we’ll begin, get some sleep” y/n said as they got up and walked out of their home. Yolotli also got up from her spot “sorry about them” she said giving them an apologetic smile at the four. “I’ll see you all in the morning, I hope you all have a good sleep.” She said sweetly and left behind their sibling.
“I’m surprised that we’re alive, y/n looked like they wanted to skin us alive” Neteyam said as he laid on a hammock, still a bit shaken up by y/n. Ao’nung then spoke “yeah, I though the whole clan was going to kill us, they seemed... very intimidating” he admitted. Ronal then got their attention “here is what we’ll do, we will not cause any kind of trouble, we don’t know what they are capable of, we already have their help and we don’t want to loose it, and I doubt that any of you would want to be there next sacrifice.” She said to all them. They all nodded. Neytiri spoke again “Alright, go to bed” he said as they all laid down in their hammock.
Back at y/ns home, they were getting ready for bed, they had taken off their headdress, jewelry to sleep comfortably, they laid down on a cot next to Yolotli’s. Their sister was already laying down, ready to fall asleep. “y/n?” Yolotli said towards them “what is it?” they said closing their eyes. “What are your thoughts on them?” she asked as their sibling responded “I think they won’t make it, I doubt they’ll be able to master fire, they’ll be like babies learning how to walk” they said as Yolotli spoke again. “Give them a chance, I’m sure they can do it” she said as y/n just nodded, already dozing off. “Yeah, yeah whatever” they said as Yolotli got comfortable on her cot. “ Ma'alo'ob áak'ab” Goodnight she said to y/n who was already in deep slumber.
That morning, y/n and Yolotli came back to see how they were doing, they had brought them food like yesterday, but this time they had also brought some kind of stew. It was called menudo it was made out of Tarpirus stomach, again it was spicy, but very good. Yolotli seemed very nice while y/n didn’t seam to like being told what do you. It was clear when their mother told them to. They all sat down and Yolotli was talking about stuff that they did.
It was very different than what they did. They were also a very isolated clan, they did not like to be bothered by other clans, so they decided to move into South to stay away from every other clan. It was also obvious that it was female dominated clan, they did have males but the women were the ones in charge. When it came to children, majority of the time it were females that were born more than the males.
Every harvest they would na’vi sacrifices as a way to give back to Eywa who had given them a lot, so as a way to give back to the great mother, they gave back with blood. Sometimes they’d even eat the sacrifice as a way to nourish Eywa and seek guidance. Some sacrifices involved being thrown into the volcano or their hearts being taken out publicly, the practice seemed terrifying, but they saw this as an honorable way to go to Eywa. They had creatures called a  Nì’awve, which meant Fire, and the being is able to swim with its ridder in the lava of the volcano. When a bond was made with the creature, one could not burn with fire, but with lava, when it came to an amount of time being in the lava, then they’ll burn. They also spoke another tongue besides Na’vi, they spoke something called Yucatec, it was their own kind of language no other na’vi but them knew.
They also practice something called Polyamory, it was when one na’vi had more than one mate, didn’t matter if they either male or female, it was considered normal here. Yolotli had mentioned that Nicté has a female mate, if she wanted, she could have another or even more.
When they questioned about the twins birth, Yolotli had mentioned that their mothers had given Eywa a life, a sacrifice, in return, so that one of the females could carry a life of her own, but Eywa had been so generous to the Tsahìk and her mate, gifting them two lives in each of their womb at the same time, creating twins. Y/n being born first, and Yolotli second.
They had learned that Y/n will be the next Tsahìk, due to being the oldest, they had more responsibility than Yolotli. They were the opposite, they were like the sun and moon. Y/n being the sun showing firmness, strength and power, and Yolotli being the moon showing calmness, beauty, and nurturing. It made even more since that they were twins.
“Now that you all know some history, this is where the fun begins” y/n said with a smirk on their face, showing them her sharp fangs, that smirk was of one of mischief and pure chaos. Both Neteyam and Ao’nung looked at each other a bit worried. “If anything happens to me, tell my family I love them” he whispered to Ao’nung who responded. “Same here” he said giving y/n and Yolotli a nervous smile.  Yolotli only smiled at them in the most kindess way possible. “I’ll be good fun though” she said, seeing the nervous expression the males faces.

I'd' love to introduce more Arc 1 characters, but slowly I'm realizing how much I dislike the way a few of them look. So I'm doing some overhauls on their designs before I introduce them/share them. Here's a sneak peak of one of them.
Tumblr media
I actually HAVE drawn and introduced all nahualtin/Lucerian mages on the blog already, but again, 2/4 of them need overhauls, Yolotli (pictured above) being one of them, Calisto being the other. I already revamped Miguel, and Milagro's design is perfect but I need to draw him again because he needs to be redone in my current, more solid style.
Here's where you can find Miguel, Milagro+Calisto, and Yolotli (with a Luana cameo).
I'm trying to get her eyes here to match her art from 6 months back since I love how big and bright they are. Fits her personality. But it's hard to get the shape down while adding big cat tats, lol.
Also, her design came out more Indian than I'd like (the ribbon makes her look like she's wearing a sari), so I'm trying to stylize an ancient huipil and make it semi-modern...for the time TLGotH takes place in, which is the early 1960s.

- AU Gotei 13 - Captain of Division 7 -
Yolotli Thakur is the captain of the 7th Division and has held this position since the war with the arrancar many years ago. As the captain of the 7th Yolotli is the head of the Gotei military police and liases with peacekeeping organizations within the Rukon districts. Yolotli is a severe, serious person who seems fully focused on doling out justice and upholding the law. She is often seen as unyielding and unwilling to skirt the rules for anyone, but her closest allies are aware of how hard Yolotli fights to be fair and just from a moral perspective, not just by the books. She also has a deeply buried mischievous streak and is quite the open book off-duty, if you can get close enough to her to speak to her personally.

── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
Dinner for such a large family is no small feat.
...
"Do not fight me on this, Tadeas. Why are you so against this?” Attuma said finally, exasperated and quickly losing patience with his son.
“He’s scared to go to the party,” Xyanza said, smiling deviously.
"No, I am not. Shut up." Tadeas growled, warning his twin sister with a fist to the table.
"Then by the gods, what is it?" Attuma asked.
"It’s- It’s nothing!"
"It can not be nothing.” Okoye pressed, scooting Yolotli away from the table leg.
“None of the recruits like him."
"They respect me."
"They fear you. And when he leaves the room, they talk shit." Xyanza insisted and Attuma absorbed this, looking between his two eldest, "Because he’s so freaking stuck up and rude."
"Xyanza!" Tadeas snapped. “What the fuck is your problem?!”
“Yu’um, can I bite them both?”
Kick. Kick. Kick,
"They call him the prince. A stuck-up, royal, bratty prince. No one wants to train with him." Xyanza needled, meeting his eye as he glared at her in disbelief.
"You are such a bitch!” Tadeas yelled, rising from his seat.
His twin sister rose on the other side and slammed her fists on the table. “You’re the whiny fucking bitch.”
"Enough!" Attuma shouted, and the kicking ceased.
Read the rest here ;)

Feather Serpent Goddess - Chapter 6 (Dark Namor x Reader)
(Please note you can find the Masterlist for this series at the top of my blog)
Tumblr media
Taglist: @historygeekqueen @bontensbabygirl @midnightman123 @imlikefrhungry @naiomiwinchester @zooni92802 @ohantonia @astrospunutt @omgsuperstarg @aslutforscarletwitch99 @multifandom-boss-bitch @tzurue @gardenof-venus @zheezs14 @bookfrog242 @honestlyka @weaponb33 @angel-bi666 @telepathic-queer @fckwritersblock @iceydicey11
"I don't want to talk to you."
The woman looks like she is a human pencil. Unwitting fashion choice? Yellow stripy shirt and white pencil skirt? It's not a good look with that hair.
"(Y/N) your father is concerned with your . . . Incident."
"My father is concerned about his image."
". . ."
"I'm sorry, I've had a lot of 'councillors', can you update me? You are?"
"Roberta. But you can call me Dr Stone."
(Y/N) smiles. "Are you afraid of death Dr Stone?"
"I'm not afraid of death. I just don't want to be there when it happens."
"Mark Twain."
"Yes quite . . ."
"You see before my mother passed, I was afraid of death Dr Stone," (Y/N) continues, sitting back in the chair. "She got sicker and sicker, and you would think she'd be relieved to be put out of all that suffering but right until the end, I could see it. She didn't give up. She resisted it at every turn. She was more of a sister to me than a mother."
Dr Stone's fingers are twitching. Probably in a desperate bid to write down this so called ' opening up'. "And now?"
"I was driving that car at what I anticipate was in excess of a 100mph. The cliff was right there in front of me and I kept waiting. Waiting for that survival instinct to kick in. Waiting for the fear to start and my mind to force me to bail out. And it never came. Can you believe that? I could have hurtled off the cliff, and it never came . . . Oh don't worry Dr Stone. I'm not suicidal. You don't need to call the suits to come and haul me off. I'm just not scared of death anymore. I was seconds away from seeing Mom. Seconds. I could have held her in my arms, in seconds."
"You speak of an afterlife." She finally gives into that writing itch and begins to frantically scribble in her notebook. "You seem sure enough of it to end yours."
"I am sure."
"Do you mind if I ask why?"
"I do." (Y/N) taps her nose. "Must save some for next time mustn't we Dr Stone?"
-
The only sound is the dripping of water and the frantic exhalations of the woman hanging from the ceiling, shards of stalactite keeping her body pinned to the wall. You could smell the blood were it not so cold.
Below her lies a small pool, a blackness, an empty space where nothing can be seen.
Ku'kul'can paces. His shoulders relaxed, his gaze theatrical.
"Is that really your name?" He murmurs half-heartedly. "Yolotli?"
He takes a seat on the rock in front of the wall, opening the parchment to continue his drawings. It's been almost an hour down here and one needs a way to pass the time.
"Why . . . Would . . . I lie?" The woman finally says.
"Why would you attack (Y/N)?" Namor sighs. "Ah . . . Save your breath. The cold down here is nothing to me. It should really be nothing to you but your continued insistence that you are in a fact a citizen of Talokan is offensive to me. You are looking a little frostbitten, for someone of our heritage."
"F-f-fuck y-you . . ."
"Yolotli means 'heart of god'. Yet I don't see any of them coming for you. Whoever hired you knows better than to cross me in an effort to save you. You're alone. Best to tell me now so I can put you out of your misery. Let me put it to you again. Who. Hired. You? Was is it the Wakandans? One of my own?" With every word he draws closer to her before finally grabbing her wrist, right where the stalactite is impaled in flesh and muscle and tendon. Yolotli's screaming fills the cavern but his eyes are awash with hungry rage.
"I am . . . One of you!" She cries.
He releases her with a snarl. "Then may the gods reward your bravery." He kneels down, placing his hands on the damp mud beneath their feet. Whispers an incantation that makes his entire body turn black for a moment. It is less than half a second between the time he rises to full height and the tentacle surging up from the darkness, wrapping itself around Yolotli's spine and dragging her crushed to the depths.
"Pitiful."
"Ku'kul'can."
"Chaac, approach my son." He bids the man closer. "What news?"
"Your beloved is stable."
A certain softness returns to his eyes. "Conscious?"
"No. Neither she nor the demon can control the body, it is simply comatose, her brother is keeping her that way. The exorcist has arrived."
He sighs. "It is what she would want."
"Even if she should die?"
He clenches his fists. "My (Y/N) is not afraid of death. But I will not allow that to happen."
"My god, what of the bounty hunter? Did she reveal her co-conspirators?"
Staring at the empty space from where the corpse was dragged, he is displeased to observe that there are still fragments of bone around the floor. "Near the beginning yes. But she told me nothing I did not already know. I know who dares plot against me, but they are too stupid to lead this nation themselves. They must have an external benefactor. That. Is what I need to know. Chaac?"
"My god?"
"Namora has been looking very tired lately has she not?"
". . ."
"Perhaps, she should be brought down here. To refresh herself. Do you comprehend?"
Chaac bows. "For Talokan."

CHILDREN OF CHAOS
ATTOYE KID FIC
“RUUUUN!”
They took off as fast as they could. They didn’t mean for it to happen, but somehow it did. They may have started a small stampede on accident, but it was totally NOT THEIR FAULT. The twins, Yolotli and Yuritzi sprinted criss cross each other screaming.
“Umama is going to KILL US YURI!”
“I’m sure her and baba won’t find out!”
They both yelled at each other as they made sure to evade large hoofs.
They heard giggling and saw their baby sister riding a rhino off to the side. The little menace was revelling in the chaos. How she managed to get on one in the middle of a stampede is baffling. Yeah they were so dead.
“AMAHLE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”
She just laughed uncontrollably as the rhino sprinted forward.
“Maybe we should’ve brought her leash.”
“Thank Bast nobody knows we’re out here!”
The animals start veering to the right heading for huts and other structures used for hunting and storage. The children veer left hoping to avoid the destruction that was sure to happen. Maybe if they got far enough nobody will be able to implicate them.
As they cleared the small hill they started relaxing and laughing.
“HA! We made it!” said Yuri in disbelief sure they were about to be trampled.
“Lotli see I told you nobody would know!”
The next second they heard a throat clear to their left while they bent to catch their breaths. Their eyes practically flew out of their sockets. They turned slowly to see their mother and father, Uncle M’baku and Auntie Ayo and Aneka.
“Hello all! What a coincidence that you’re here too!” Yuri said with a fake grin plastered on her face.
“Nice weather we’re having right?!” accompanied Yolotli.
Right then a loud crash sounded from the other side of the hill.
The twins winced slightly but still tried to act casual.
“What did you do?” said their mother with no preamble.
“Why do you assume we did something?!” both twins folded their arms and said indignantly.
Right then several more crashes sounded from behind them. They winced and got sheepish looks on their faces. Their mother glared and their father looked almost confused at how they managed this much chaos in such a short time.
Meanwhile, there were several more crashes and then a loud explosion. The twins shoulders lifted to their ears higher and higher at the sound of each crash.
“I’m sure it’s not that bad umama!”
As soon as Yuri said that, a piece of a hut roof came flying landing right beside them still on fire.
The twins both laughed nervously knowing there was no way they were getting out of this one.
“Where is your sister?!” asked their father.
Their eyes widened as they turned to look at each other. Luckily the animals came around the bend and there was Amahle still having the time of her life riding a rhino.
“UMAMA! BABA! LOOK AT ME! RHINO RIDE! RHINO RIDE!”
The twins chuckled again nervously.
“Kids right?” They said in unison.
Their parents faces took on an unimpressed look.
“AMAHLE COME ON!” the twins yelled.
She stood on the rhino while it ran then flipped off landing effortlessly on her feet. All the adults’ mouths dropped open in shock. Amahle cackled like a mad woman and sprinted towards the group.
“LET’S GO AGAIN! LET’S GO AGAIN!” Amahle cheered once she got closer.
At this point her mother’s hand had come to rub her face and their father was looking to the sky almost as if praying for strength. They finally took a look behind them at the result of the stampede. Everything was destroyed and trampled.
“I don’t even know if i want to know how this happened.” M’baku mumbled.
The twins began to explain at the same time.
“See what had happened was-”
“It wasn’t even us forreal-”
Their mother just raised a hand and shook her head with her eyes closed. They clamped their mouths shut and looked at her nervously. She pointed towards home and they dropped their heads and slowly made the trudge to their house.
Okoye looked at her husband at a loss. Their children were so sweet and caring, but they seemed to always find themselves in some kind of trouble. They both looked at the destruction and wondered if they made a mistake procreating. Maybe their genes were never meant to mix. Okoye and Attuma do enough damage on their own. Having those traits mixed and amplified in offspring might have been detrimental to the planet.
They both started laughing to themselves because they had no idea what else to do. They didn’t even feel like they were existing in reality right now. How do you even start a stampede?!
Everybody started the walk back to the city. Aneka could barely walk with how much she was laughing, M’baku was still shaking his head in disbelief and Ayo kept looking back at the destruction with a nervous look.
At the same time, Amahle was running in circles around everyone yelling “RHINO RIDE! RHINO RIDE! RHINO RIDE!” completely unfazed by the events that unfolded.
Bast help us all.

Author’s note: I hope you guys like this part too, the reason why I used jaguar patterns on the na’vi was because I looked up an animals the Mayans worshipped and I came across the Jaguars. Writing about food makes me hungry XD
P.s. Also, idk how many parts of this series I should make, perhaps another ten? Or thirteen maybe?

After breakfast, while Neytiri and Ronal went to talk with Nicté, both Y/n and Yolotli guided the boys around, showing them places they could go explore and such. The whole time, Y/n had been talking along with swearing in  Yucatec, both Neteyam and Ao’nung had no idea what they had been saying, Yolotli had to translate to them, she apologized when Y/n had calledd them an insult such as ‘Idiota’, it was their own word for Skxawng.
The group of teens had arrived at a small opening in the forest, that was around where the volcano was. Some girls who they assumed were y/n’s friends tagged along, again speaking in Yucatec to one another. They kept looking at them males and saying things about them, some had been staring a bit to long at them, even giving them smiles and giggling when they caught the boys off guard.
“Okay, first, you must make a bond with the Nì’awve “ she said, turning to the woods and began to make a hissing noise, having her tongue between her teeth. Then movements from the bushes came, two large creatures came out. they were large snakes with coal colored skin that apparently was hard as the volcanic rock, they were almost as big as a Thanator. “You must bond with them, once the bond is done, then you will learn the ways of how to control fire” she said.
Y/n had been chating with her friends, then she saw that the Ni’awve had arrived, then stopped and said. “Le ba'ala' kun u jats'utsile' “ this should be fun, then they departed from her friends walked over next to Yolotli. “Who wants to go first? I mean unless you’re scared” they said making the other girls laugh. Yolotli gave them a warning look. Neteyam and Ao’nung looked at one another. “I’ll go” Neteyam said walking over.
“Okay, just stay calm” Yolotli said as she helped Neteyam get onto the beast. “Its important to have a good position” she said as she began to position him the proper way. Yolotli then carefully went behind the beast’s head and got a small antenna. “Here, make the bond” she said as Neteyam then grabbed his queue and attached it to the beasts. Then the Ni’awve began to shift harshly, but he held on tightly to the beasts. “Its okay, be calm” Yolotli said as Y/n was holding back laughter “you also, might want to hang on tightly” they said as then the Beast just took off.
Neteyam held onto it for dear life, the Ni’awve was going too fast, he tried to remain calm but the beasts movements were making it difficult. The beast continued to move fast and out of control, then out of no where the animal had thrown Neteyam off. He had landed on the floor hard, while he was laying on the floor in pain, he heard the group of girls and Y/n laughing their heads off.
“Neteyam!” Yolotli shouted as she ran over to the boy on the ground. “Are you okay?” she asked, helping him sit up. “Yeah, just... in pain” he said rubbing his back. “Its okay, I fell my first time too, would you like to try another day?” she asked then Neteyam shook his head. “No, I’ll do it again” he said as Yolotli nodded and helped him up, walking over to where the beast went, back to the group.
Y/n was still chuckling with tears in her eyes, Neteyam also noticed that Ao’nung was trying so hard not to laugh. “Sorry, its just” Ao’nung said as he then just laughed. Neteyam glared at him, this reminded him of the time when Lo’ak had fallen off his Ilu. “Are you going again or have you give up already?” y/n asked Neteyam who walked over back to the beast. “I’m going again” he said as Yolotli got a settle for the beast, she got it from one of the girls who was holding two saddles. Once she put the settle on the beast, Neteyam hopped on, sitting on the beast’s back. “Suit yourself” y/n said smirking at them. Yolotli gave Neteyam an apologetic look “be careful” she said.
Neteyam connected his queue into the beast, then the beast took off again. This time Neteyam was holding tightly onto the saddle. When the beast took off, this time Neteyam held on tightly into the saddle, he was going to bond with the beast no matter what, even if he had to fall accouple more times, he will bond with it. After a little while from riding the Ni’awve he didn’t fall, this time the creature seemed more friendly towards him. He had bonded with the beast.
He let out a victory cry, also seeing that the group of girls looked stoned, they celebrated as well. Yolotli ran over to him with a smile on her face. “You did it! You bonded!” smiling at him. Neteyam had forgotten about his injury, after wards he then felt the pain come back. The adrenaline had worn off and he groaned in pain. Yolotli than helped him down from his now beast. “You okay?” she asked as he just nodded. “Yeah, it just hurts” he mumbled as Yolotli walked him over to y/n.
“Y/n/n? Can you take Neteyam to mama?” she asked as y/n who had not said a word nodded. “Yeah, lets go” they said, leading Neteyam away while Yolotli helped Ao’nung. As they walked side to side, y/n spoke. “I had to admit, that was impressive of you Netnet” they said smirking at the boy, they noticed how his cheeks turned purple. “Thank you” he said as they both arrived at a small hut
It was similar to a home like his temporary one, except there was a small cot, two little stoles, some herbs hanging on the wall, and on the middle was small fire bit, which was lit while a small caldron hanged above the fire. He saw a woman there, she was making something on the small table that was on the corner of the hut. “Mama? I need your help” y/n said as the woman turn to look at her.
The woman was just like everyone else, pale skin, and dotted patterns. Her eyes were a golden color, her hair was as long as her queue, she was wearing an bld dark blue huipil skirt with different patterns, that went from her waist to her calves, she had no top on, thankfully her hair was the thing that covered her chest. She had also had a symbol drawn on her chest and others symbols on her cheeks near her mouth. She had wooden earrings and a piercing at the bottom of her lip just like Yolotli. Neteyam did not miss her beauty, she seemed as if she was gift from Eywa.
“Oh, what happened?” the women asked, taking Neteyam by the arm gently, guiding him to sit on the stole. “He fell off the Ni’awve” y/n said chuckling, the woman examined him. There were some scrapes on his back and elbows, the woman then got some water from a bucket and began to clean his wounds with a cloth. She had a very gentle touch “y/n make some tea” the woman said as y/n nodded and got to making tea. They took some dried herbs from the wall and got to work, crushing the leaves and putting them in the caldron with water to boil.
After the woman was done cleaning his wounds, she got a little bowl with a strange colored paste and began to put some of the paste on him. Neteyam winced in pain, it burned. “I’m sorry that it hurts, but this should heal your wounds.” The woman said as she she continued. Y/n had approached with a cup, that had the steaming tea and handed it to the woman. “Here drink this, it may taste bad but it will help with the pain, it best to drink it hot” she said smiling. Neteyam nodded and drank the tea fast, it tasted horrible and it was hot.
“Oh, how rude of me, I haven’t introduced myself. My name is Patli, I am the mother of both y/n and Yolotli.” She said kindly at the boy. “Its a pleasure to meet you” he said smiling at her. Patli smiled and walked over to the table that had freshly cut herbs, taking some and tied them with a smile string. She walked over and handed them to him, along with a little wooden tin with that paste. “If the pain comes back, you can make a tea with these herbs or you can chew them. They should take the pain away.” She said kindly. “Thank you ma’am” Neteyam said respectfully to her.
“Okay, we’ll be on our way” y/n said as Patli pulled them into a side hug and kissed their forehead. “Stay out of trouble now” she said as but y/n let out a dramatic gasp “me? causing trouble? never” they said as Patli gave her a look of ‘I know how you are’. Both y/n and Neteyam walked out of the hut. “Patli is very nice” Neteyam said as y/n responded as they walked back to where the rest of the teens were. “I mean, where do you think Yolotli got her kindness?” they said. “So, it was her that birthed her?” he asked as y/n nodded. “Yup! and my other mother Nicte gave birth to me” they said. Now it made since, y/n shared a lot of Nicte’s traits and Yolotli shared a lot from Patli’s traits.
When they returned to the spot, Ao’nung was on the back of an Ni’awve, he seemed to had got the hang of beast, he probably already bonded with it. The group of girls then spotted Neteyam and ran towards his direction, all the girls had tried to get a hold of him. “That was so amazing!” one of them said, then another much taller girl chimed in “yeah, who would of thought a forest na’vi would bond with a Ni’awve” she said a bit too flirty. Other girls had chimed in talking over each other, completing Neteyam.
Y/n had been watching the whole time, and for some reason, they did not liked how her friends were putting hands on the boy na’vi. They glared at the group of girls trying to get Neteyam’s attention. “He is a ladies magnet alright” Ao’nung who was now standing next to you said. “Really?” y/n asked looking at him, the Metkayina boy nodded “Yup, back home he had a load of girls chasing after him.” He said as Y/n continued to watch. “Where is Yolotli?” they asked “oh, she went with my mother and Neytiri, she said she wanted to teach them how to cook stuff from here.” He said.
Then y/n got an idea “would you like to go hunting?” they asked as Ao’nung saw the smirk on their face, a toothy smirk he already knew to well. He couldn’t help but also notice some jade gems on their teeth. “Sure, why not” he said as Neteyam had managed to get away from the group of girls towards Ao’nung and y/n. “What are you two planning?” he asked as y/n responded. “We’re going hunting, I want to see how good you are” they said as they began to walk away. The boys followed y/n, they had gone towards her home which was the giant pyramid. They walked all the way to the top, y/n had no problem, but both Ao’nung and Neteyam got exhausted, as soon as they got to the top, they dropped to the floor trying to catch their breath. Y/n had gone in to get their weapon of choice.
Once they came out, they had three spears, a knife and a Macuahuitl. “Come on, lets go” they said walking down the steps. The boys looked at each other then groaned. They all walked down the steps, again both boys were exhausted. The trio reached the forest, then y/n began to give each boy a spear. They had tied their Macuahuitl onto their hip. “Okay, now that we are all set, lets go.” They said as they went into the woods.
They went deep into the woods, trying to find a prey. They continued to walk until y/n stopped. “Listen” they said, they all stayed quiet, listening to the forest at first but they began to hear heavy sounds, sounds of an animal. Y/n then began to climb on a tree, Neteyam followed while Ao’nung also followed but he had was having a difficult time climbing. Y/n crawled near a hug branch, staying quiet as possible, looking down, spotting a Tapirus, by it self, eating the grass peacefully.
y/n turned to see the boys behind them, they lifted their finger to their lip, signaling them to stay quiet. They then got their spear, aiming the weapon towards the animal. y/n waited for a bit before throwing the weapon, hitting the creature in the right spot, instantly killing it. “Yes!” y/n said in victory, both Neteyam and Ao’nung were surprised. “Damn” Neteyam said as Ao’nung had his jaw dropped. “I guess we’ll be having menudo or may be Chile Colorado” they said as they jumped down to retrieve the creature, the boys followed behind. “Chile what now?” Ao’nung said confused making y/n roll their eyes. “Chile Colorado, its a dish, very spicy, the spicier the better for me” they said.
Y/n pulled out the spear from the creature, getting some blood on them, some landed on their face. They touched the spot on their cheek which had blood, and they licked the blood of their fingers. Neteyam and Ao’nung looked at one another surprised by their action. “So, where else should we hunt for?” they asked as Neteyam then said “Fish? Do you guys eat fish?” he asked as y/n responded “we rarely eat fish, we like to eat meat, we could go for some fish” they said. Y/n had picked up the animal, carrying it on their back as if it were nothing to them.
“Would you like me to carry it for you?” Neteyam asked as y/n looked at him with an eye brow raised. “Are you sure?” they asked as Neteyam nodded. “Okay” they said removing the animal from their back and put it on Neteyam’s back. As soon as the beast was on his back, he nearly fell, the creature was heavier than him, he tried to stay up the creature’s heaviness was greater. “You need help there?” Ao’nung asked with a smirk. “N-no.. I’m doing just fine” he said as he nearly was about to fall. “Yeah, give it here” y/n said taking the creature off his back. “You okay?” they asked Neteyam who was catching his breath. “Never.. been better..” he said trying to catch his breath.
They continued their hunting. They had arrived at a river nearby, both boys had jumped into the water in search for fish. They had been in the river for a while, catching as many fish as they could. After a while they had got a lot of fish, enough for a lot of people eat. They began to head back to the village, back to the boy’s temporary home. Yolotli had been there helping both Ronal and Neytiri with the cooking. She had brought them a clay cooking pot along with other dishes. “We’re back” Neteyam said getting their attention. “Oh you brought Tapirus” Yolotli said as Y/n placed the creature down “yeah, we could teach them how to make Chile Colorado.” They suggested, as Yolotli responded. “That sounds good, I’ll have to go get some Red Chiles though” she said giving both Ronal and Neytiri a polite smile and living to get red chiles.
Y/n began to skin the animal while both Ao’nung and Neteyam watched, as they skinned the fish they brought. The boys had skinned animals before, but they this was different, they watched them with fascination, as if they wanted to watch them do this for a life time. They were both snapped out of their thought when Ronal had called them over to bring her the fish. Y/n had put the remainings of the animal in a basket so that they could feed it to the Ni’awve. Yolotli had returned with the chiles. That whole after noon they had been cooking. Since they were going to stay with them for a while, they might as well learn.
Yolotli had been teaching both adult women how to make the red Chile Sause, while y/n was showing the two boys how to cook the Tapirus meet for the stew. They also added other ingredients to the stew. They had also introduced them to red rice. After the food was ready, Neteyam and Ao’nung had invited both y/n and Yolotli to stay for dinner, as a way to thank them in helping them that they. They both stayed to eat dinner with the family.
Everyone was talking about their day and other stuff that will be happening towards the week. During the conversation, Ao’nung mouth had been on fire, due to the food being very spicy, he nearly drank all the water just to cool off his tongue. Y/n had been laughing since they weren’t used to eating spicy things. Both Y/n and Yolotli had been eating the spicy stew as if it were no problem. After dinner, y/n and Yolotli helped clean up and left back home due to getting dark.
That night both Neteyam and Ao’nung couldn’t really sleep, they had been thinking y/n and y/n only. They really couldn’t understand why they had been thinking of the Tsahìk ‘s child. They weren’t sure why, but they both knew that sooner or later something more might happen.

As it turns out, I do draw more than I think, but it's always small doodles between the big stuff. I decided to post these just to not lose them after the semester is over-I drew them on my history notes, and I reuse to crack open my notebook once I reach the end of December.
These folks don't appear until the first "real" arc of the story, but I can't help but doodle them even as I work on the prologue they don't appear in.
There are two new guys here (top left and on the left on the bottom pic), and I would post more art of them, but I'm currently redesigning them to add more animal motifs, making old art of them outdated LOL.

hello! i’m a big fan of your books and videos! who are all of the characters in your ya girls that were shafted by the narrative club? i’m considering making some fanart, we must love them where their authors did not.
take care + stay lovely :]
Tumblr media
These are the three I've drawn, so my official club is
Missy from Perfected (obviously)
Yolotli from Save The Pearls
Marcie Miller from Hush, Hush
---
God that's sure a list of some of the worst books that have ever existed, huh.
it's not a club that's strict, as I said in the max ride one I feel like Ari nearly fits, Maya sure is so shafted she barely gets a line in the narrative, but these three definitely stand out as being just. so ruined by the narrative they were in, which seemed actively hostile to their suffering in order to benefit the lead
