Akademiya Dottore having to stay out late for an assignment and when he gets back to his dorm he sees reader passed out on the couch, they tried staying up to wait for him but got too eepy and went zzzzz...

I like to think he quietly puts a blanket on them before sitting on the couch and just doing his own thing (eventually he also falls asleep on the couch)

When reader wakes up they notice the warm blanky on them and smile :) especially after they notice the usually stubborn man sleeping on the other side... giggles 😊 I like soft Dottore... he's so stubborn and in love..

(Reader totally teases him about it when he wakes up and in return gets ignored for the rest of the day... if they're short they also have all their akademiya supplies put onto a high shelf💀 cuz Dottore's mean like that and REFUSES to admit he likes reader :3)

It's not very often that Dottore stays out late, he much rather be in his dorm doing his own thing rather than out and about (the darkness is good for being elusive, however, more light is necessary for certain experiments.) Unfortunately, group projects and meetings exist and he has to be on his 'teammates' time schedule... ending his day with his peers is certainly not what he considers favorable.

Meanwhile, you feel quite lonely without your crush, the dorm is oh so quiet without the sounds of his tinkering or the playful banter between you two. Not to mention how you miss his touch, his voice, his overall presence... do you miss him? Yes, of course, you're not in denial all the time like Zandik is. So you decide to just stay up, he can't be out for much longer, knowing Zandik, he'll wrap it up as soon as possible. (You could laugh imagining his expression right now, having to do an assignment with others instead of you.) Sadly, your body gives in to your tiredness and you slumber earlier than you wanted to.

When Zandik comes home and sees you slumped on the couch in dreamland, he scoffs and rolls his eyes... muttering under his breath about how careless you are and how you're going to wake up with cramps in that position (he says as he fixes your body to a more comfortable angle, and drapes a blanket over you before you wake up sneezing and complaining to him. Yes, he just doesn't want to listen to you complain, he totally doesn't care for your well-being.)

When you wake up to see him sleeping on the other side you just smile... you wish you two were actually dating so you could cuddle with him, but unfortunately, Zandik is a man who'll always be in denial when it comes to his feelings, it seems. At least he felt comfortable enough to fall asleep with you like this, that's progress! Even he was lured in by the warmth, despite probably wanting to pull another all-nighter...

Teasing him will result in a not-very-happy and annoyed Zandik who constantly rebuts your claims... he's not very amused at your "theories" and would prefer if you put your mouth to better use by assisting him with his research. (He derives some kind of sick pleasure from watching you struggle to obtain that hard-to-reach item.)

12 Questions about F1 through the years

1. Who or what got you into F1?

My dad. He grew up in a racing/car family and automatically transfered that love to me when I was just five days old and he held me up in the hospital to show me the German GP of 1999 on TV. We always joke I've watched F1 since I was born, which is no lie. Since then, we've seen almost every race together. We've also gone to 15 F1 GPs together.

2. Who was the very first F1 driver you supported? Do you support them now? Have your opinions on them differed or stayed the same since then?

Michael Schumacher. My dad is a Jenson Button fan and he's convinced I started supporting Schumi just to annoy him. I don't fully remember why I chose Michael, but my best guess is I fell in love with the red car that kept winning. I love him still and still hope he gets better someday.

3. Who’s your current favourite F1 driver?

After 16 years of supporting Sebastian Vettel, I ended up supporting Max Verstappen in 2023. My dad's been supporting him ever since his debut, and made him his main since Jenson retired. However, I didn't get there that quickly. I adored Max when he began F1. Got annoyed with him a lot in 2018 and 2019 when he kept having run ins with Seb (fave bias I guess), but once 2020 I grew to adore him and in 2021 I fell in love. He'll never reach the same level for me as Seb did in my heart (he's my hero after all, since I was 6), but I love him sm already.

4. Is there a driver pairing or pairings you support? What made you attracted to that pairing in the first place?

I love so many F1 duo's, but my two faves are Sebastidan and Lestappen.

Sebastidan got me out of my high school depression phase in 2017. I remember feeling extra down when Seb lost his chance at the title that year in Japan. I was so frustrated and watched video's of them as teammates the whole day. I've adored them since and while they aren't a fanfavorite, I can't help but enjoy the bits and pieces we still get from them.

Lestappen. I got into them last year during their - sadly short - title fight. The history they have, the connection, is something so unique. They also seem to become better friends with each passing month. I'd love to see them as teammates someday.

5. Do your parents, siblings or relatives have a favourite team and/or favourite driver(s)?

Dad's a Max and RB fan. He hates Mercedes and especially Toto. His past faves are Senna, Hill and Jenson. Mom has watched F1 since she's been with dad (1985), but never got into it. She always liked Nico Rosberg though!

6. Do you have any favourite races? Are there any that stand out to you the most?

Belgium 2014 as it was my first live GP. Belgium 2018 as it was the first time I saw Seb win live. Abu Dhabi 2012, which was epic Abu Dhabi 2021, I'll never forget that day Brazil 2008, it was mind blowing.

7. Do you have a favourite circuit? Can be from the past or from the current calendar.

Spa. It's my home track which I've been visiting since I was a toddler. And Zolder, for the same reasons.

I also adore the Red Bull Ring, Yas Marina circuit and Monza.

8. Have you ever been to an F1 race in real life? Feel free to tell us your experience going to one if you like.

15 in total! 14 times the Belgian GP (would've been 15 if it weren't for 2020) and 1 time the Austrain GP. It's always amazing! The organisation of Spa has changed for the better as well!

9. Have you ever met an F1 driver in real life?

Several times the whole grid before 2020, because it wasn't as difficult to get close to them. In Spa they organized hours long signing sessions at la Source for everyone with a weekend ticket. Since then I've seen them mostly from a distance. The closest I've come to talking a while to someone was Charles in 2018, Seb several times and Daniel also a few times. I still get butterflies thinking about it <3

10. Do you have a favourite F1 car? If so, what is it?

RB19 (2023), it's such a precious car <3 Seb's 2010 RB. The Ferrari from 2004. Brawn GP car from 2009.

11. Do you have a favourite one win wonder?

Not really. Unless, you count Oscar's sprint win from last year.

7. Your favourite tropes to read/write/draw

(I love them all the same, but it is slightly different for each, so I'm making a destinction)

Read: Honestly, kidnapping. I love characters getting kidnapped, and their loved ones worrying/rescuing them. This also includes more-or-less any type of 'going missing'-plot (incl. Char A just running away themselves). Just the feeling of "I have no idea where or how they are, and if they're even still alive", and then the relief when they meet again. Hmmm

Write: 'The world has been cruel and hard to you - therefore I won't be. I want to show you the beauty it has to offer, too <3' This is the best way I can describe it. Characters who've just had a rough time/life being unconditionally cared for and supported. Getting everything their heart has desired for so long. Short: Hurt/Comfort

Draw: While I have yet to draw this myself, actually (because humanoids are hard), any drawing of one character being hurt or scared, while another stands over them caringly and protectively - obviously willing to kick some ass if needed - has me go wild.

8. You hope more people will come to appreciate ___ (a ship, a trope, an episode, etc)

I understand that some people find the market oversaturated by now - that's valid - but still: Redemption

I love redemption so much. I want the story to gently cup a character's face and say "You are broken, but not beyond repair. You can get better, and be happy, and be surrounded by people you love and that love you back." They don't even necessarily need trauma or have gone down a super dark path, I also enjoy: "Character is a massive jerk, and we follow them down the road of being less of a jerk". These are honestly the main reasons both the 'Good Uncle Sly' and 'Apple Cousins' AUs exist.

There are few exceptions I can think of, of villains I'm personally obsessed with, and have not made a version of, where they are redeemed. I look at Reginald Bushroot, and Camille Chameleon, and the Dark Curse - and while for some more than others - there will usually be something at the back of my mind asking: "What if you didn't have to? What if you found love? What if you got to live a quiet, gentle life? What if one day you realized you live in a reality you would never have imagined come true? In a good way? What if everyone could be okay?"

11. If you're a writer or artist, what fic or piece of art are you proud of making?

Fic: Family Discount

I was honestly surprised how many people liked that fic. Between 11 fics in total, this one definitely has some of my favourite comments (and it also has a surprsing amount of comments, I didn't expect that tbh). I was a little worried about posting a fanfic chapter-by-chapter, because the last time I tried that I basically (though not officially yet) stopped after one, because I can't write slice of life, it seems.

But so many people got emotionally invested in my writing, and I honestly didn't expect that? But even though I'm forced to take a semi-long break (for exam reasons), it is extremely motivating, and makes me feel that (as vague as it sounds), my stories do do something. How much joy the stuff you make can bring other people, is honestly so cool. Even if it's just a little fanart, or an ask, or a slightly-self-indulgent fanfic :)

I'm actually a little embarassed of this drawing, which I know sounds counter-intuitive to the prompt, but I swear, there is a reason it's here!

This is my first, and currently only drawing of the Flim-Flam-Brothers

I had basically no idea what I was going to do with their designs, and I also only had 60min, with limited tools (because Colormari)

But the thing about this drawing, was that our prompt was basically just "New Years Resolutions". And mine was that I wanted to create more art, without getting bossed around by my inner sense of cringe. Because, while I have absolutely no problem with ranting and rambling and talking about my favourite characters all over the place; as soon as I want to put them into any form of art, my organs feel like they'll turn me inside out. It's the reason this blog has dozens of rambles about how much I love Darkwing Duck, and yet zero art of any of its characters (made by me).

But I made this - and kept it around - even though I knew the characters wouldn't look the best.

- don’t be ashamed of posting your art!!! Literally. Shame will lead you nowhere & it’s a liar

- don’t be discouraged if your post flops. It happens to the best of us, it’s heartbreaking but don’t let it stop you!! Easier said than done ik but you literally have no other choice than to continue!

- to gain more traffic faster do fanart and/or art what will gain attention easily on tumblr dot com - smth relatable to the general audience of gay people (this rule I personally don’t follow lmao)

- it’s ok if you only want to do your own thing. You will most likely grow slower which you kinda have to accept but don’t force yourself to draw only for clout and not for yourself ):

- figure out why you get banned??? That’s Weird 😭

- befriend other artists. Your reach is greatly affected by who reblog your art! Tbh I own everything to my popular mutuals (kissing you guys on the lips with consent)

yep alright, I've been, kind of wary naming anything specific for a while because a lot of stuff that's come out has only been semi-public

the main offenders are Lemniscate, who did some music for Yume 2kki, and Rio, who created the entire Tomb of Velleities route

I say "semi public" because the main victim who came out with everything did so in a 3 hour long video that they linked in their Discord status, and was kind of spread mostly via word of mouth outside of that

I have watched most of it and skimmed a good portion more. It's a lot. It's very obviously created from the perspective of someone who was heavily gaslit and very clearly torn about what they were doing.

EDIT: Guccelia actually made a follow-up statement (that includes a link to the original video) where he specifies he's alright with discussion going public, so I guess it's alright for me to share this

I dont really recommend watching it the entire thing, it's... just not a good time, you can get the gist. A lot of the grooming and sexual harassment described in the video took place publicly in the Yume 2kki server where most of the moderations was not particularly concerned.

BUT yeah the whole thing is a lot. I know he wants to take equal responsibility for it too, but, shit man, kids Gucc's age make mistakes - especially when they're as star struck as he was, getting special attention from someone who you admire can warp your perspective on it even if you're a full grown adult

I think the update also include messages where the moderators were actively hostile towards him - I'm starting to find I really don't have the stomach for it so leafing through it all isn't in my best interest, but there you are

most notably, as definitive proof this all happened: Tomb of Velleities was named by Guccelia and there is a point where Rio says that it was named by "his boyfriend", who was and still is a minor.

That all being said, I can't belIEVE it took me this long to comment on 2 of Cups! Okay, so, when part 1, and 2, came out, I had no idea who Rin and Sae were. I didn't even know what Blue Lock was, just that it's a manga/anime. I was like oh, okay, cool! I read part one anyway, and was all like "... I gotta watch this. If the anime isn't out yet, I gotta watch it as soon as it DOES come out." And I was so exCITED for part 3! And then part 3 came out, and... It absolutely bLEW MY IMAGINATION OUT OF THE PARK, LIKE!! !! I dunno, what I was expecting to happen, but I'm so happy it went the way it did! I mean, yeah, sure, it hURT, what with Sae continuing to be an ass, and RIn, poor rIN! Sweet baby, he's so! I can't even begin to espresso how in absolute awe I'm in of this mASTERPIECE! It keeps me up at night, thinking about it, and about what may happen next. Like, did Sae go back to, I think it was... Spain? Did he just go somewhere else for the time being, and he'll be back? Will Rin give in to his fantasies? Will he be soft and gentle if he does? Would he absolutely destroy Rea-chan with his roughness? Would he start off gentle, and then lose it?

Mind you the team I told y'all isn't even all of Luca's pokemon pre-teal mask. They have A Lot and I'm constantly worried it's a lil too much. In fairness, Naomi also has this problem lol. She has a total of 3 teams ( main story, secondary team, and isle of armor team) as well as a bunch of rotation pokemon ( Zacian, some Paldean pokemon). But at least with her I can argue that she developed these pokemon over time, since the time between swsh and sv is 5 years. But Luca? I dunno. I guess it's in character since they are very excitable and eager about being a pokemon trainer - in the main game they probably caught more pokemon than RB ( ironically) and tend to explore more on his own. You can say she ( Luca) was a mini Nemona in that sense, so again I guess it's in character for her to try and catch and train as many pokemon as they can. Though me, R, never truly cared about catching pokemon lmao, so sorry Luca you aren't completing the pokedex. And even if I wanted to I can't, I don't have online.

Anyway, I'll try to organize Luca's pokemon more. And if you're wondering about R.B:

Yeah. Don't get me wrong, R.B definitely has extra pokemon of her own, but it's not as much as Luca ( I think). Plus one of them is the child of her annihilape who doesn't battle lmao.

the short story is that back in winter last year two other mutuals were doing similar stuff, one of them would ask different ways people in the polycule had been kind to themselves that week every friday (which was very sweet and felt very much like getting a hug when i was very stressed out) and the other one would send us a number of random questions she'd thought of on wednesdays (she still does every once in a while) that were/are quite a fun midweek break

we'd rb rather than private reply to each other's answers and it was full on just us hyping each other up and having a fun time and i love(d) getting them so i decided to do a similar-ish thing in january when i noticed we all started to get a bad case of The Dreads on sundays (aka the sunday scaries) either because of jobs or school or both and people seemed to have fun with it so i sort of just kept doing it

quite a few people i like here are not contained only on that mutuals circle that started it however and i wanted to include them (i didn't give them much of a choice lol i gave them a warning but it was very much an 'i like you so i'm gonna bother you' kinda warning), one of them called them glitterasks and i liked how that sounded so that became the tag i use for them

then there's mutuals i didn't know if they'd be okay with me asking them stuff or not bc shy people be shy but people do like to feel included, it very much had a slumber party feel in the beginning and i have a very cher horowitz approach to parties so i begun to rb the weekly 'hey give this a like if you want me to send you a question too' so nobody felt pressured to behave like it was a job application or something like that if they wanted to participate, and then i also begun to include the psa of like 'hey this is the tag i use for these you can totally blacklist it so i don't monopolize your dash' on the same post so i don't annoy the ones that don't want to participate

so yeah that's kind of how it became a thing lol

i can't physically respond to everyone now bc the list is too long, everyone responds on their own time and there's some things i don't feel i should rb in some of the answers (like stories that i feel contain too many personal details or that could be potentially detrimental to the intent of just being fun/lighthearted) but i do try to reply to everyone either via rb or just on the post itself 😊

i also don't really mind if people take long to answer them or if they'd rather ignore the questions altogether bc we all are busy and i don't intend to but i do realize what might be a casual little question for me might be a trigger to some people (or just plain not interesting), the asks are for people to do with them as they please once i send them

edit: and most importantly, it takes a village lol i'm endlessly curious but there have been more than a couple occasions in which I've had no idea of what to ask, like last week, and some people (that i'm quite fond of) have given me great ideas when that's happened
