📜Everyone, say hi to Yuni Yoshinaga, the MAIN character of a WIP series we've been working on for years, Thank You For Existing!
Local delinquent->trans woman pipeline MC finds out she's in a universe where fiction formed into reality, including her! Explains her weird life...
Ever since we realized we were plural, we've tinkered with depicting plurality in stories in original tales. Yuni/Suki was created from that need, after reworking several of our stories, stitching them back to back, and needing a protagonist to help tie them all together.
We can't begin to tell you how wonderful it is that this character that's been around in our stories for 5-6 years, has finally been able to be realized by us in drawing. This genuinely is a very special drawing to us, and we hope you all enjoy it just the same. 💌
Also, the OC template was inspired by our friend's template for their OC's, check angelicobituary on twitter out! - Marcille

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places to the Transpanda OC Tournament, drawn by the wonderful and amazing @ashenberry
In 1st place, we have both Maya St. Fleur, the ex-demolition psychic therapist who'll blow your mind, and Jilly Bean, the sweet and sour totally emotionless villain reformer.
In 2nd place, we have Pan Kokoro, the spunky one-off episode alter of the body swapping protag Pan Yu.
And in 3rd place, we have Yuni Yoshinaga (and Yuki Fujisaki), the caring delinquent that accidentally get an identity swap/transition speedrun.
The original results
Thank you so much to absolutely everyone who voted in our poll! You all helped a lot in making us address all the characters that worked and who didn't quite just yet. This has been a great exercise to show off a hint of our WIP series's and our creative ability with character design!
Thank you for voting, and thank you for existing!
Photo ID under the cut:
(PHOTO ID: Confetti rains down from the sky.
On a 1st place podium, Jilly Bean has red and yellow skin, and long pink hair. She's wearing a dark, gothic lolita dress and sunhat. She shows little emotion holding one handle of a gold 1st place trophy, the other handle being held by a purple psychic force.
Left to Jilly on the same podium is Maya St. Fleur, who is animated with closed eyes. A purple energy is around her hand. Maya has a safety helmet on that resembles a bomb, and her fire-like red orange hair peeks out from the fuse and around her neck. She wears a green shirt, pants, boots, and has triangular bone growths on her arms. Maya has dark skin and an orange inner mouth.
Left of Maya is Pan Kokoro, on a shorter 2nd place podium. She is wearing a white sleeveless shirt, purple athletic pants, black and white sneakers, and has a red and white jacket tied around her waist. The jacket's large sleeves have been tucked in and tied like a white and red striped tail. She is posing energetically with her silver 2nd place trophy, but water is spilling out onto her head, shocking her. Her white short hair stays the same, but the red hair buns are turning black from the water. An exclamation point is above her.
To the right of Jilly, on the 3rd place platform is Yuni Yoshinaga. Yuni is currently a pink, amorphous ghost being. She is wearing her jacket and gloves. She's smiling cockily and showing off how only one eye has a pupil (a pink pupil with a heart in it), one hand on her chin, and she poses with her bronze 3rd place trophy.
Underneath Yuni is Yuki Fujisaki, whose head is cracked like an egg to let Yuni's form out. Yuki is sitting on her butt, leaning back a little with both hands on the podium. She is looking up happily at Yuni, and showing off her single pupiled eye (a blue pupil with a heart in it). Yuki wears a purple jacket, yellow shirt and skirt-like shorts, blue socks, and purple shoes. On her medium length purple hair, Yuki wears two hairclips, one pink one blue. She is wearing a pink biker glove on one hand, but the other isn't seen. END ID.)

Transpanda OC FINALS
Tumblr media
THIS IS IT, THE FINALS, THERE WAS A LOT OF TIES BUT WE'LL SEE WHO... SOMETHING WITH THIS. WE'LL TALLY THE VOTES AND GO FROM THERE, YIPPEE!
The rules of the tournament
Brief introduction to "Thank You For Existing"
CHARACTER BIOS BELOW
Yuni Yoshinaga
Tumblr media
“My name is Yuni Yoshinaga, and I don’t really exist.”
Born a timid, sweet, and quiet boy, Yuni was quickly mistreated for his rare heart-shaped pupils. To avoid abuse, he donned the personality mask of “The Demon Delinquent”. Years later, a major accident occurred. Yuni was medically mistaken for Mizuki Fujisaki, a well-liked girl with the same eye condition. Feeling finally free, Yuni dubbed “his” true self as “The Girly Force” to those aware while stepping into the role. Yet Yuni couldn’t shake off the “Demon Delinquent” personality mask. Why? He doesn’t actually exist…right? Yuni is the main character of TYFE.
Primary Inspiration: Masashi Rando from Pretty Face (And Chihiro Fujisaki from DR)
Plural or Plural Adjacent?: Plural

Pan Kokoro
Tumblr media
“I’m Non-Canon and I’m proud!”
Kokoro is your typical filler character; Never appeared in a single chapter of her source, and only a single episode of the show adaptation. The problem therein lies that the peppy girl exists inside the main character’s mind, Pan Yu. Brought to the front just a couple of weeks before the series’s canonical ending, Yu’s wedding, Kokoro is determined to find the space where she fits in best! Can she assert her existence with so many people insisting she’s just a delusional Yu, including Yu’s fiance Bow Botella? Whatever the case is, she’s surprisingly comfortable in both forms she has. Pan Kokoro is the main character of TYFE part 4: Filler Turf.
Primary Inspiration: “The Girl” from the anime of Ranma ½
Plural or Plural Adjacent?: Plural
Art by @starredfishing, commission them!
Maya St. Fleur
Tumblr media
“I’m Maya St. Fleur, and I’m gonna blow your mind!”
An ex-demolition woman turned psychic therapist (and a zombie descendant), Maya is employed by a recap therapy organization. Despite this, she’s actually never faced her past grief of losing several close people, choosing to forget instead. Trouble strikes when she needs to attend her own recap therapy, due to an actual total memory loss accident caused by Yuni. With slightly different circumstances, will Maya finally build on her past events? Or simply continue to demolish what shaped her...? Maya is the main character of TYFE Part 1: That’s Life.
Primary Inspiration: Razputin Aquato from Psychonauts.
Plural or Plural Adjacent?: Adjacent
Art of Maya St. Fleur by: Sunnyside_Cakes
Jilly Bean
Tumblr media
“I do not feel emotions. I hope that this does not cause you distress of any kind.”
Appearing quite emotionless at first glance, Jilly Bean is actually a severely self destructive individual focused on others first. Much of this stems from her assuming she fakes all of her emotions, when in reality she’s an undiagnosed system with one low emotion alter. She has a tendency of intervening with stories she feels demonizes someone unfairly. This need to be someone else’s anchor has led her into much trouble; the lemon coloring on her body is actually scar tissue for example. With the loss of one reformed villain turned friend, Shirley A. Gonna, Jilly’s low emotion alter gets front stuck, worsening her mindset. She is a recurring character in TYFE.
Primary Inspiration: Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece
Plural or Plural Adjacent?: Plural (Unaware)

Sue Mary (Shirley A. Gonna)
Tumblr media
“I am nothing more than a shambling corpse, designed to demonize systems everywhere. It is obvious. I shouldn’t exist, sister.”
Shirley A. Gonna was originally a main antagonist, who existed to blame a neurodivergent person for society’s woes. Jilly Bean, sensing a scapegoat villain, changed Shirley’s life forever with a second chance. Wishing to atone and help her new friend, she put her all in reforming villains like her. Until one proved they really were just a villain, and everything went black for her. Years later… She woke up. An inky slime, Sue Mary, had accidentally merged and resurrected her body. Feeling immense guilt for her failures in life, “Sue Mary” decides to heal her friend one last time before leaving for good. She is the final main character of TYFE: Death of the Author.

Amber Berri
Tumblr media
“Shut up, go away, and give me back my hand right now.”
With body stability slipping through their grasp, Amber is one of many slimes struggling with control in the energy crisis. A pawn shop owner and piano player, Amber stole the lost Hero’s pawned armor once their hands started melting from energy deficiency. This draws ire from Paltinum, as Amber isn’t aware of the armor’s side effect: Gaining unwanted passengers. Amber, already spiraling from their brother (Barry Berri) reduced to just a slime head, only spirals deeper once their hand gets accidentally possessed by Yuni. Can Amber live with not being in 100% control to save their brother? Amber is the main character of TYFE part 3: Slymberpunk.

Azzie Bestos
Tumblr media
“Come on, Amber… Join us won’t you? ‘Communal living’ is on the rage! You don’t gotta do this alone… As they say, resistance is futile~...”
Azzie, like many slimes struggling to stay stable in Slymberpunk’s energy sapped world, turned to somewhat desperate means. Abandoning full control of her body, she bonded with her first slime behind closed doors. Both of them found the process to noticeably ease the strain of stability. Then she bonded with another. And another. And another Repeating. Azzie became a hivemind of slimes focused on survival. They tend to call it “communal living”, like Azzie herself is an apartment building. Azzie’s sight is now set on Amber, who seems to be struggling heavily keeping control with their new hand companion. They think Amber just needs to let go a little…

“Hi, I’m Muffie!”
Wait, who is this? Why is she here? I didn’t add this character to this poll. She just appeared on the list without me typing it… Okay, according to our files, Muffie is kind of an enigma. She mysteriously appears anytime, anywhere, no matter how much no one actually wants her there. She only says “Hi, I’m Muffie!” and nothing else. What is her goal? Is she an observer? Why does she cameo in every part? …Wait, WHAT? It says here she becomes Yuni’s girlfriend from the AU overlap?? HOW? Her character is about having one line! Is… Is she more than she appears? I stare into the dark abyss, and the abyss speaks back: “Hi, I’m Muffie!”

Paltinum
Tumblr media
“O-m-g you’re, like, sooOooo funny! Prepare for annihilation.”
One day, a valley girl named Patricia sadly passed away, but luck had blessed her with a second life! Reborn into a fantasy world of slime people, she was placed in a slime body destined to be the hero of the land! …Too bad the original slime hero in that body suppressed her completely. Having gone multiple years without fronting once, Patricia got a third chance when “Absor-Corp” outfitted the hero with an exoskeleton, and accidentally made her be in front again! Determined to stay in front at all costs, she now works as the company’s main enforcer, Paltinum.

🌋Hi sweethearts! This is Helen, apparently I’m the only dang OC to become a fictive from this list! ...Yet. Anywhoo, I’m ‘sposed to be one of those big, doting, Minnesotan mom types. I’m a real accomplished single mom, dontch’a know? I graduated from college when I was 8! …Granted, cause of the gigantism, they thought I was their age, but eh, whaddya gonna do? It’s hard bein’ a single, 10 foot tall mom with multiple law degrees! But keepin’ my kids happy is what I love best. I also babysit that lil Owen fella here and there, he likes how tall I am.

Honey Mary is one of three scientist slime sisters, that used to be four. Their youngest, Sue Mary, became completely destabilized due to the ambient energy draining from the world, reduced to a murky, barely alive puddle. Determined to save her sister, Honey poured herself (literally) into new “Flexiglass” exoskeleton tech she invented. Disaster struck, though, as “Absor-Corp’ attempted sabotaging her work. Something... wasn't right. Maya had only gone to recap therapy cause her memories accidentally go plucked out. She got them back, she was herself, everything should be fine. But the... "she" she was during that recap keeps popping up when the others go through their own recap stories. Does changing a few things in this, really only simulation of the past, start following it's on continuity? “Captain Nameless taught Astraeus how to run on crutches. But she’s so insistent I go faster! Pretty soon, Astraeus is worried he’ll run so fast he’ll start swimming in the air!”
In the deepest, darkest depths of the ocean, a race of merfolk wallows in general misery, albeit safety. Astraeus, naturally adventurous, rejects this, and leaves to see land, people, and sunlight. A sailing captain he meets, Nameless the Beardless, teaches Astraeus that traversing the human world isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. The merman responds simply: grabbing a pair of crutches and walking forward anyway. Nameless, perhaps a little too impressed, immediately starts training Astraeus to overcome any obstacle on crutches. …Really REALLY training him. The Fujisaki Twins
Tumblr media
Hinata: “How dare you hide that! Marry Yuni and be my new sister to make up for it!”
Mizuki: “Hinata. Don’t feed his delusions.”
Hinata and Mizuki Fujisaki are two twins with eye conditions, giving them heart shaped pupils. Hinata, the blue one, had a further strange condition, causing her to become depressed the farther away from a sibling she is. This constant need for close proximity caused eventual grating and need for escape in Mizuki, the red one. Mizuki ran away from home, stealing Yuni’s ID and other cards after discovering their same eye conditions. Mizuki, always obsessed with gaining more siblings, seemed accepting of Yuni (when she finally figured out years later), but Mizuki comes back years later to take the spot back in disapproval.

“I’m Teena’s… biggest fan.” Menacingly bites into a lollipop shaped like Teena’s face.
Standing at a staggering 9 feet tall, Gina is a menacing looking wall of a woman. She’s notably obsessed with the wandering, narcissistic medic, the 4 feet Teena Meenie, claiming to be her “biggest fan” (literally and probably only fan.) Most are shocked when they figure out the true nature of Gina and Teena: that they are actually an unaware changeling, with some sort of dissociative disorder. Gina seems to genuinely believe the reason she exists is purely to protect Teena from any threat. Her most notable instance is refusing a deal from Tiamut, the god of dragons, purely on the basis that Teena wasn’t there to hear it.

In the recesses of The Abbey, a body made of stitched together, stolen corpses found life breathed into it. This being was designed to be the perfect bride, the perfect woman to marry. But human nature stepped in, as Victor found himself identifying as a man. While occasionally still presenting as Vasilka, Victor left the Abbey to show his true, most genuine self to the outside world. Unaware of his supposed husband’s true identity, he gently helps others during his search. The world outside is cruel, vicious, and violent, but Victor keeps ahold of one thing many have lost in the outside world: hope.
