Hello hello!! My name is Bee, and I am the operator/mun of this blog! I use any neopronouns, this includes many varieties of pronouns, but you can use it/its or nacht/nachts mainly! I will state this at a forefront: basic criteria will be used here, use your common sense. And, the views of Sebastian do not reflect my own. I am separate from the character I play.

A thing of importance! If you are followed by an account by the name of "bees-among-the-okami", that is me! It is my main/personal, as this account is a sideblog. Below the "Read More" are my rules and the shorter description of my version of Sebastian!

RULES

I only really roleplay with those that I have as mutuals, just to be sure of equal interest on both ends. As well as, I do not rush rps, in both aspects of the word. I will not race through relationships, nor will I rush you! I would appreciate not being rushed either!

As an addendum to this, it may take me a while to reply to rps, my motivation comes and goes, as is the horrors of AuDHD. But I will try my best to keep in contact!

A second addendum to this are asks! I am down to roleplay responses to asks, though I will only create "threads" with mutuals branching from said ask!

This goes as well for "password locked" roleplay blogs, I will only send the password if we are mutuals!

As I follow from a personal blog, I will not block those on the other end! Personals are also allowed to send asks! I will not create threads with personals, though. We need to talk first beforehand! My DMs are open!!

Minors are NOT ALLOWED on the blog. I am 19, and though nothing will tread into sexual territory here, it's mainly for ease-of-mind for me.

CHARACTER

Sebastian Solace is a male leviathan-esque creature created by Urbanshade, directing the experiment on him to the Hadal Blacksite. Before he was twisted into his new, serpentine form, Sebastian used to be human, 19 years of age and attending college for a major in engineering and a minor in music. He used to have passions, a love for electric guitar, for creating, for his family.

That's what he used to be. A person. An individual with humanity. Now it's been ripped away from him.

Slinking among the shadows of the Blacksite is how he travels, gathering data and supplies in exchange for the former. He's sharp and bitter, having learned that vulnerability is like sticking your neck out for the guillotine. And if he has to become cold to protect himself? Fine.

The scientists call him Z-13, The Saboteur... but he'd much rather his own name.

(My iteration of Sebastian is much more creature-like, as per the DNA he was experimented with as such! <- is crazy about speculative biology <3]

so-- surprisingly atm i'm trying to figure out The Plot. i wasn't sure if i was ever going to make ?? a proper plot for tmc just because like. i love tmc and the kiddos so much but bc i know i want it to be a webcomic style thing that's just scared me off from working on it. basically bc art hard. But i should do it because i want to have fun and i had a few like. lingering dream-thoughts about some things so i thought i'd try and push it more.

rn i'm toying with the idea of expanding what's going on with society. because right now basically, there's the "city thing" that chidori and co live in which is dominated by trains. but i don't think anyone knows the kinda Back Drop for tmc?? cuz i never talk about it?? but basically this is a futuristic wip where humanity had to adapt to earth's sea levels rising WAAAAY up (in a way that is totally improbable but like i'm not hard worldbuilding this world at all bc this is supposed to feel shonen anime like PFFFF. basically anything goes cuz i said so energy). so they use train rails and special train types to get around. tm.

this is old art from an old ask but this is the gist basically LMAO im sorry its so shit PFF

i was originally thinking of making wholly different societies that have something different instead of train masters BUT TBH, i think everywhere has train masters like its a global thing but chidori's city is just a big ass city and governments are still different like how bangkok, nyc, and paris all have different currency pff. basically my scope of the world is just expanding.

anyway tho, chidori's city has the largest population and by virtue of that its the one most prone to diseases, struggling, and economic stagnation. rich people gotta rich so they hate this.

my thought for the plot is actually around the strength of the sturgeon dollar. tl;dr the money in chidori's city is called "sturgeons" like the fish (and is colored similarly) but its actually got a poor exchange rate with the other cities. this is something that is concerning to the herme family who bellamy is the youngest child of. (bellamy below--the diamond prince and one of the s-rank train masters tm)

bellamy is technically the "odd one out" of the herme family and is treated very poorly behind closed doorsaside from his illustrious and beloved image by the public. his family is full of law makers and politicians, but they also have heavy ties with crime (which is what i'm kinda developing now) and they have links to crime various other syndicates across the flooded world. the problem is, because the sturgeon dollar is so weak it puts them at a disadvantage when it comes to negotiations with other politicians and syndicates. so with the under-the-table go ahead from the government, they have begun operations to start working towards destabilizing pretty much every city society (at the expense of civilians obvs) to try and either make the sturgeon dollar stronger, or to introduce an entirely new method of currency only for the elites.

me playing with the idea of yagmur being a double agent has to do with the fact that yagmur is a secret train master branch basically akin to the fbi or z-rank. they're covert ops. he's technically been assigned to work for the government of chidori's city to help with whatever tf this plan is but at the same time, he and bellamy are in a not-so-secret secret relationship and despite coming from money, bellamy hates his family. so yagmur is loyal to bellamy before anything else. but at the same time, bellamy isn't necessarily concerned with citizens--he's concerned with revenge and tearing down his family. so if i were to classify things as they currently are:

chidori and his main friend group (amehana, solange, bev, folami, and markis) are on the side of their city and protecting it from like everything.

bellamy and yagmur on their own side trying to take down the herme family.

the herme family and government (and some other entities) are on their own side trying to sabotage other cities to strengthen thier own dollar and since yagmur works for the government he's also kind of involved in this too.

so that'sssss currently where i'm at. i still need to figure out how the train academy works, what's up with these semi-magical weapons, redesigning folami (AGAIN but thankfully i think i have a good idea this time) and just other stuff to uhhhh make this make sense. maybe figure out the city situations as well?? just a lot tbh LOL

Lusamine’s Opinions™

After a lot of mulling on my end, here are Lusamine’s opinions on certain people, organizations, and public figures; all of this is a baseline, and will fluctuate depending on different interpretations, headcanons and muses.

The Pokémon Professors

Lusamine has a great deal of respect for every region’s adjacent professors. She considers herself a scientist, first and foremost, and makes sure that she keeps up-to-date with their findings. Professor Oak, Professor Rowen, and Professor Magnolia were all laying the groundwork for their grand research when Lusamine was just a child— while figures like Professor Elm, Professor Sycamore and Professor Juniper were breaking into the field when Lusamine was in her early 20’s.

There was a point in time where the Alola region had considered hiring Lusamine as an adjacent professor, but she declined the position, and vouched for Professor Kukui to take on the role, due to his impressive research surrounding the Z-crystals and how it effected Pokémon move behavior.

Professor Sada and Professor Turo are two scholars that Lusamine holds in high regard. She is unaware of the existence of the Paradox Pokémon and the Time Machine that was built in Area Zero, but she is aware of the tera crystals, and the immense amount of time that Sada and Turo have poured into their research. She considers the two of them some of the most dedicated minds of the current era. And if she were to ever discover what was at the bottom of the crater, she would be offering funding, and some of her best scientists, to assist in any way possible.

Regional Governments

The Aether Foundation has branches in several spots across the globe— but the base of operations is the Aether Paradise in Alola. Because of that, Lusamine only spares attention for places where Aether has a footing. Currently, beyond Alola, Aether is operating near Mossdeep City in Hoenn, and in a modest branch building outside of Canalave City in Sinnoh. She is vying for a permit to operate in Unova, so that she can better study the Elgyem that live in the region. Aether employees can also be found studying Mt. Moon on occasion, but she has not bothered to work independently in either Kanto or Johto, due to certain hostilities in the regions.

That being said, anywhere that Aether operates, Lusamine attempts to keep up with the politics, and works to assure that Aether is seen in a positive light.

In the case of the Galar region’s extremely strict import and export laws, and Paldea’s newly opened borders, Lusamine knows little to nothing about those regions, nor does she have any interest in setting foot into such uncharted territory. Not only that, it would put her in an awkward competition with Macro Cosmos in Galar, and the strict Paldean government in Paldea, which she would rather not deal with. She is also not too pressed about having a presence in Kalos, because from what she understands— a billionaire named Lysandre holds enough influence over the region.

Regional Champions/Gym Leaders/Elite Four.

Once upon a time, Lusamine was an avid Pokémon battler, but she does not have enough time to dedicate herself to the practice anymore. That being said, she does not keep up with the big names in the scene, unless they are household names— such as Red or Leon. Names such as those are tossed around so frequently that she need not look into them. But she wouldn’t be able to tell you who the champion of Unova or Kanto-Johto is, nor is she inclined to care.

The same goes for members of the gym leader circuits and the elite four. Many of her employees follow the careers of these professional trainers, but Lusamine does not personally. She has heard of the more popular faces, such as Grimsley, Malva, Rika, Caitlin and Lance. (There’s actually a few of her employees who are HUGE fans of them.)

The Alolan elite four, of course, she knows pretty personally. It’s strictly professional, however. You won’t see her going out of her way to socialize with Molayne, though she does have an appreciation for his inventiveness.

Organizations

I’m just going to go down the list in chronological order, since there’s so many squads now.

ROCKET is the organization that Lusamine knows the most about, due to Alola’s close proximity to Kanto, and a lot of the shared technology. Her overarching opinion is going to change depending on individual verses and interpretations, but generally speaking, she follows the philosophy of “they leave me alone, I leave them alone.” To her, the fact that Rocket exists in the first place is a testament to societal collapse and the greed of humans, but she can somewhat understand Giovanni’s angle of controlling the world; she can find the logic in trying to control what already exists for the sake of self-preservation and fascination, even though it is something that doesn’t interest her personally. Paired with the fact that both Rocket and Aether have worked to develop new types of PokéBalls, are busy creating new Pokémon through questionably unethical experiments, and the fact that there are several Aether employees who use Porygon 2, a Pokémon that Rocket invented, it’s safe to assume that there is SOME sort of connection between the two groups.

MAGMA and AQUA are both groups that have potential in the race to improve the environment, but the extremes that they take in order to achieve their goals is absolutely ridiculous in Lusamine’s opinion. She thinks that, of the two, Maxie is easier to reason with— Archie reminds her of Guzma: loud, reckless and hardheaded. She believes that, if Magma and Aqua were to stop going at each others throats, and put their heads together, that they could greatly benefit the global ecosystems— however, expanding the land, and expanding the ocean, is illogical to her, and she does not see the long term benefit in changing the terrain, nor does she think that it is a necessary to improve the lives of humans and Pokémon.

GALACTIC is very fascinating to Lusamine, Cyrus especially. He is such a young man, but his personality is eerily similar to Lusamine’s, and he has a brilliant mind. It is unfortunate to her that his ideals are so extremely out of touch with reality, that it would not be worth working with him; the data and technology related to outer space and contacting other dimensions is priceless information for Lusamine, and she would be willing to work alongside Galactic, if the end goal weren’t to completely reset all of reality. After Cyrus’ disappearance, Lusamine would absolutely be interested in reaching out to the splintered pieces of Galactic, with the hopes that their knowledge would assist in her research on Ultra Space.

The full extent of PLASMA’S plans is unknown to Lusamine; she doesn’t know that Ghetsis intends on disarming everybody, except for himself and a select few others. She also does not know about the plan to use Kyurem to take control of the Unova region. What she does know is that Plasma seems keen on protecting Pokémon, which garners Lusamine’s interest. If she were to learn about the full extent of Ghetsis’ plans, she would definitely disagree at several different points, but unlike Magma, Aqua and Galactic, Plasma does not want to blow up the world. She can reason and peacefully disagree with people who have different philosophical points, but she cannot do that with megalomaniacs. She would actually agree that many people should NOT own Pokémon, actually. It would be another case of “you leave me alone, and I leave you alone.” She’d especially be intrigued by the creation of Genesect, of course, since genetic research is something that Aether has a hand of. Colress is also a MAJOR point of interest, because of his involvement with technology and engineering.

Lusamine does NOT know that FLARE exists. She has no idea that there is a fanatical cult that wants to blow up the world. (Why do so many people want to blow up the world?) What she IS aware of, is Lysandre’s major involvement in the Kalos region, and his inventions. At face value, Lusamine would have a great deal of respect for Lysandre’s efficiency and innovation, and perhaps she would be interested in learning more about his plans to improve the region. All of that would come to a stop, however, if she learned about Flare, and their goals. To her, the idea of one human man deciding who is chosen and unchosen, is delusional, psychotic, and narcissistic. In her mind, humanity is already flawed— a humanity born from the vision of one man would be even more flawed. In the end, it is likely that Lusamine would forever consider Lysandre a threat if she came to know of Flare’s plans, and would have an exit strategy planned if the Ultimate Weapon were ever fired off.

MACRO COSMOS, as a monopoly in the Galar region, appears as a powerful business conglomerate that Lusamine would certainly be interested in! She would also offer to have Aether sponsor some of the prospective gym challengers in the Galar region. Chairman Rose and Oleana seem like reasonable, but private people, to Lusamine, which she can absolutely agree with and understand. Socially, they may get along as well. However, yet again it boils down to the “you want to blow up the world” issue. She has no idea that Eternatus exists. If she did, she would be all over wanting to research its existence, especially since the creature fell from the sky, much like Necrozma. The plan to have Eternatus gobble everything up, of course, is where Lusamine shakes her head and decides that Rose is delusional. Not only that, the blueprints to Type: Null were stolen by someone involved with Macro Cosmos— and if Lusamine ever finds out about that, she is going to start a legal nightmare.

Lusamine simply doesn’t know that YELL and STAR exist, and their existence doesn’t impact anything that she is doing, so she has very little care about them— much like SKULL, she would view those groups as nothing but disruptive kids. Of course, she would have a healthy appreciation for the inventiveness of Ortega. The creation of the Starmobiles is silly on the outside, but it is an artificial symbiotic relationship between multiple Pokémon, which is entirely unheard of. Lusamine would be impressed, and likely offer Ortega scholarship opportunities and an internship at Aether. The same goes for Penny, she would find her to be incredibly bright, especially with her ability to infiltrate security systems at such a young age.

Last but not least, the Orre region’s factions, SNAGEM and CIPHER, are not well known outside of Orre and its bordering regions, and so she would care very little about them unless they began to cause her problems. Cipher’s discovery of shadowing Pokémon would certainly catch her eye, however, from a scientific stand point. Her opinion on the entire ordeal? Research is research. She would not vouch for the creation of shadow Pokémon though. It is an unnecessary means of weaponry that, in her mind, does not need to be encouraged. If an organization needs to alter Pokémon to THAT extent in order for them to be powerful, and to take control of the region’s government, then the hostility makes it entirely unworthy taking advantage of the science. Snagem as an organization would remind her of Rocket in more ways than one, and she would be more inclined to reason with them, as a result. Yet again, it is a case of “you do not want to blow up the world, leave me alone and I will leave you alone.”

A-Z Challenge GAME 5

Starting D today, so here we have: E games!

This one is... hm. To be honest, with the first-person games I'm a *little* concerned that I might feel nauseous if I try to muscle through a couple of these in a short time frame >< The only one I'm sure won't make me sick is Erica, but I've played a demo of Eternal Threads and it was mostly okay, not sure what to expect from Escape Academy, but just might not be a one- or two-session knockout, if it makes me feel ill -.-'

I also would need to find people able to play a session with me for that game, cause some of those achievements are multiplayer, but not many

So, let's talk train reporting numbers and Sodor

This is a train reporting number, also called a headcode

Made up of the first number denoting what class of train it is (class 1 being express, 2 being stopping train, etc. 7 here is express freight, livestock, or ballast train not fitted with continuous brake), the letter denoting destination (this is what we're going to talk about), and the final two digits being individual train identifiers.

Now Sodor almost exclusively uses headcode discs, as shown here (this hesdcode is denoting parcels, fish, fruit, livestock,milk or other perishables with all vans fully fitted with continuous brakes or empty coaching stock)

They also use them on diesels that IRL had headcode boxes (Bear here had express headcode discs)

However, we know that train reporting number boxes do exist, as shown by this image

The class 40 has split headcode boxes, although they're a bit difficult to distinguish (also look how the door just melds into their face). Here's what they look like IRL

Now on to what I'm wondering: what are the North Western Region's area reporting letters, both within the region and for trains going between regions. Here are the codes used for interregional trains:

E: Eastern

L: Anglia

M: Midland

O: Southern

S: Scotland

V: Western

X: Special Load

Z: Special or short term working (trains not in the timetable)

And prior to 1967 N was used for the North Eastern Region until the region's dissolution.

These were used for trains travelling to that region.

Intraregional codes designate what line your traveling along, for example in the Scottish Region, H stood for trains around Inverness, Kingussie, Elgin, Kyle, and Wick (as well as other things, these are sometimes reused for different routes), and odd and even numbers identify train direction.

So: what was the North Western Region's code? The short answer is we don't know. But we can join the world of headcanon.

As both M and N were used, BR didn't seem too fussed with letters looking like each other. And as N was already in use, so we can't use it for North Western, we can use W. Trains travelling to Barrow and beyond would carry the M code.

Now for intraregional trains. This is wild ass speculation, and as always I'd love to hear others' input on the topic, this goes for the whole post.

I think the mainline could be T, for Tidmouth.

Most all the branch lines are easy because of the names all have a different first letter

The Little Western could be A for Arlesburgh

B for the Brendam Branch

F for Ffarquhar

K for Kirk Ronan (although I'm not sure if this line is used anymore)

N could be Norramby, intraregional and interregional codes did sometimes overlap, for example the Scottish Region's N meant the Dumfries - Carlisle - Newcastle route, but we could make operations easier and letter the Norramby Branch R

P for Peel Godred Branch

Now, I also don't know if when IRL regions lettered their routes for headcodes, they just went down the alphabet. As names for routes seldom line up with the letter assigned, this may be what happened, but that's somewhat boring, and who knows, Charles may have done his own thing.

Anyway, that's all I really had to say on the subject. I'd love to hear y'all's thoughts on it. Maybe there's info I don't know about all this! I'm by no means an expert.

The automaton groggily assessed its surroundings. He was still in his camp, that much had not changed. If he hadn’t been moved, then his assailant must have travelled out here. Yet traversing the Midland Desert is a mean feat when you do know where you are going- it was unlikely they made this journey on a whim. His first priority was a head count. Aside from the woman holding the pistol, behind her was a much meaner looking fellow with a baseball bat. Next, he assessed the baseline information on his captor. Female, 5’9-5’11. He could see them tentatively wrapped around the pistol grip of the gun she was aiming point blank between his eyes. Her lips were shattered and white with breaking, almost as dry as the very desert around them. Between the bloodshot eyes, the cracked lips, and her general jittery demeanour, the automaton reached his conclusion.

“Smoke, ma’am?”

The woman lowers her pistol, visibly taken aback by the response. The automaton continues.

“Nicotine withdrawal. Coupled with some nicotine reliance, I'd wager. I’m only going to offer it to you once.”

The automaton carefully reaches into his satchel. The terrifying figure of steel reflected back into the woman’s fragile, human eyes. With great hesitation, she slowly reached out her other hand. Titanium alloy, joined with a ball bearing for mobility. Scratch that. It’s not a ball bearing at all, it’s a magnetic hinge. She sawed her arm off just past the elbow, and installed a magnetic hinge. Then, she attaches and detaches different arms depending on the situation. Sensing the automaton looking at it for too long, she reflexively grabbed her arm with her other hand, dropping her gun to the ground.

“DAMN IT Z, YOU FUCKIN MORON. PICK UP THE FUCKIN GUN AND GET THIS OVER WITH ALREADY!”

The man in the back calls to the woman, now identified as “Z”. She quickly scrambles to pick up her firearm.

Assessing that “Z” isn’t the one in control of this operation, the Automaton makes his move. While the woman continues to try to pick up her gun, He smoothly rises from his seat and moves towards the man with the baseball bat. Sensing danger, his fight response kicks in, and he moves his bat in for attack. It moves with such speed as it tears through the air that it produces a faint whistle as it moves in. The automaton, unfazed, mechanically catches the bat in his hand, killing all its momentum with a mere wave of his interfacers. Throwing the chunk of wood to the ground, he moves closer to the man, until he is close enough to see the great red light of his face reflected in the sweat of the man's pores.

A jarring squelch rang out across the desert. The man, adrenaline high, looked down to see what the automaton had done. His interfacers had jammed into the gap between both of his ribs, and pierced his flesh. From the pressurised sound of the impact, it is reasonable to assume he punctured both lungs.

The man wasn’t given enough time to let the pain sink in.

The automaton effortlessly grabbed the man by his ribcages, and with an audible crack, split his torso in half, pulling out with it most of his ribs and upper-torso organs. The man's once red face had washed over a deathly white. His eyes, opened wide with shock, now stood in place, as though held by stuffing. The automaton did nothing. He just stared through the hole he had created, his red lights glazed over.

“I’m sorry Harvey.”

As the words left his voice box, a piercing sensation ran across his whole body. Electricity flooded and overloaded his circuitry, and one by one, his faculties collapsed. His stiff and robotic shell fell to the dust, and as the last fraction of light left the eyes, he could just about make out the woman, taser in hand, leaning over him. “Perhaps”, he thought. “Perhaps I deserve this”.

Then, black.

Opened on October 27, 1904, the New York City Subway is one of the world's oldest public transit systems, one of the most-used, and the one with the most stations, with 423 unique stations.

New Yorkers call the subway “the train.” Stations are known as “stops” and routes are often called “lines.” All subway trains have 2 MTA personnel onboard. The train operator rides in the first car. The conductor rides in a middle car.

Unlike the metro in Paris and London, the subway operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The base fare is $2.90 (compare to €1.73/$1.85 in Paris). An unlimited ticket costs $132 a month (€86.40/$92.57 in Paris)

There are 28 train services in the subway system. Each route has a color and a local or express designation representing the Manhattan trunk line of the service. New York City residents seldom refer to services by color (e.g., "blue line" or "green line") but out-of-towners and tourists often do.

Many lines and stations have both express and local services. These lines have three or four tracks. Normally, the outer two are used by local trains, while the inner one or two are used by express trains. The 1, C, G, L, M, R, and W trains are fully local and make all stops. The 2, 3, 4, 5, A, B, D, E, F, N, and Q trains have portions of express and local service. J, Z, 6, and 7 trains vary by direction, day, or time of day.

⚠️-> this part was very confusing. To go back to the place I was staying I needed to ride the line A C (the blue line!). Line C was fully local meaning it stopped at every stops. Line A has portions of express and portions of local service plus depending on the time of the day the A line became a C line operating from a different platform. But while I was within Manhattan “my” A/C line was also called E 🤔🤨. I got the hang of it by the 2nd day. I believe the Berlin subway work the same way. We, in Paris, however have one line with branches: 1 line, 1 quay and sometimes branches. Choose your line, go to the quay and no more thinking if you need to take that train coming or wait for the next one. 🤷‍♀️

Chinese Navy Fujian aircraft carrier advances with J-35 stealth fighter tests

The recent progress of the Chinese Navy is evident in the Fujian aircraft carrier, Type 003 model, including tests with the J-35 stealth jet.

The tests include electromagnetic catapults with two red vehicles and an aircraft similar to the J-35 stealth fighter on deck, as reported by passengers flying over the aircraft carrier.

Chinese media sources released new photos depicting Fujian's activities, including the J-35 stealth fighter, initially identified from low-resolution images and later confirmed in sharper images. This aircraft is probably the first to undergo electromagnetic catapult tests in Fujian.

The J-35 is a next-generation multifunctional poaching fighter, developed by China as an improved and combat-ready version of the FC-31, an aircraft carrier-based fighter. Scheduled to debut in 2021, the J-35 is a collaborative effort led by the Chinese Aeronautical Establishment, AVIC's Shenyang Aircraft Research and Design Institute and the 29º Chengdu Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation.

The FC-31, predecessor of the J-35, debuted in 2012. However, China has never mass-produced it, mainly due to inexperience in the manufacture of jet engines. The FC-31 is equipped with Klimov RD-33 engines, the same as those used in Russia's MiG-29 aircraft. China has faced challenges in the design of high-performance turbofan engines with post-combustion, especially in metallurgy, although it has made significant progress in other aircraft components.

The J-35 meets the urgent need of the People's Liberation Army Navy for a stealth fighter capable of operating from future aircraft carriers. This is partly a response to the U.S. F-35B and F-35C stealth fighters developed for amphibian assault ships and aircraft carriers.

After the inaugural flight of the J-35 in 2021, it is expected to undergo about five years of testing before active service. As the FC-31 has been tested for many years as a technical demonstrator, this testing period may be reduced, according to Chinese defense experts.

Satellite images from November 2023 indicated that Fujian temporarily left its pier, suggesting an imminent maritime test. With a displacement of almost 80,000 tons, the aircraft carrier can accommodate more than 20 aircraft, such as the J-35 twin-engine jet.

In addition to the J-35, other aircraft scheduled for testing include the KJ-600 early air alert aircraft and the Z-20 utility helicopter, which has already been widely deployed in several Chinese military branches. The KJ-600, crucial for aircraft carrier combat capability, will probably follow the J-35 in the test sequence. Unmanned aerial vehicles are also on the testing agenda, with a forecast to be tested after the J-15T and Z-20.

-Erisyne's persona has been portrayed in PR as 'intellectual, visionary and ethical', which would be a stark contrast towards past villainous figureheads such as Ghetsis.

-Known to have her own set of four Pokemon, namely Malamar, Tinkaton, Salazzle and Porygon-Z.

-Under her leadership, Keraunos has been a household name all across Unova.

-Has one of the highest employment rate of applicants across the region when it comes to the scientific field, rivaled by or second only to Silph Co and Devon Corp.

-Erisyne Advocates for a better, symbiotic future between both humans and Pokemon alike, through the means of science and mutual empowerment in order to boost Pokemon to human synchronicity.

-One of Keraunos' bestselling products is the KX, or Keraunos-X line, as not only they are marketed as 'better than the X enhancers' in every way, some of the KX products also are intended to be used by Trainers, themselves, said to deepen human to Pokemon bond.

-Keraunos is under suspicion to having ties to remnants of Neo Team Plasma, yet there has not been any solid proof that could even support this claim as of yet.

-Keraunos Pharmaceuticals' main HQ and other branch HQs have certain floors and basement floors that are only accessible by higher level employees, while standard floors are only available for standard-level, civilian employees.

-Erisyne's departure from Aether Foundation has been abrupt. When asked, Erisyne simply would answer that it is because of creative differences and philosophical divergence. She wouldn't elaborate after that.

-Some Keraunos branches and remote facilities operate under strict NDAs, and only restricted to trusted personnel, only.

-As it is required by the Unova League for transparency, the official documentations show that Keraunos has managed to acquire ex-Neo Plasma and Aether scientists alike, the former being supposedly ones who were released from custody under good behavior, and thus were pulled into Keraunos via their employment programs.

Private Knowledge (This is knowledge either only very few people know, if one manages to dig deep enough, or known only by Erisyne herself)

-Her true name is Edenia Valentine. During her return to Unova, as well as her decision to form Keraunos, she started to scour through, and burn away as much documents, physical and digital, as she could, that has her real name listed.

-She essentially took Neo Team Plasma's infrastructure for herself, as Ghetsis' mental collapse deemed him unfit to lead, thus converting Neo Team Plasma into Keraunos' hidden foundation. More accurately, Keraunos, by technicality, is Neo Team Plasma, operating legally on the surface.

-Her full team consists of Salazzle, Tinkaton, Malamar, Porygon-Z, a modified Type: Null with its RKS System forced online at the cost of extreme pain whenever it is activated, and an improved and further optimized Genesect, the latter two kept completely off the grid, either hidden deep in Keraunos HQ, or deployed on Keraunos facilities that are in need of strict patrolling.

-Erisyne uses her Genesect to make several "problems" for Keraunos "disappear".

-Erisyne uses several tools such as blackmail, psychological conditioning and memory suppression either through her Malamar or "medicine" to control either humans and Pokemon alike when needed.

-Erisyne has formed backup plans, contingency measures and kill-switches should Keraunos be exposed or attacked.

-Freelancers like Vivian and Morgan alike tend to be a thorn to her side. While the latter can be hired for some of Keraunos' dirty work, there were instances in which Morgan was on the job against Keraunos' interests.

-She's not interested in the whole "liberation" spiel of old. Erisyne's true goal is the optimization of Pokemon and human behavior via enforced stability, with her at the helm of the technocratic capitalist rule, at the cost of individuality, freedom and autonomy of everyone else.

-The KX-line products often have dangerous side-effects, with addiction and dependence being the least of the worries of those who are afflicted by said side effects the most. Keraunos often chalk this up to "physiological incompatibility", "malpractice or misuse of product" or a "bad batch of the product having been used". They have long since established "KX aptitude test facilities" to prevent this. Numerous Trainers and Pokemon do come out well, but something definitely feels off with them, too.

#i gave a presentation in high school about leetspeak#my teacher was so excited and thought it was a new programming language#she asked questions about how the computer could read text like this etc#had to tell her it was just people writing things weird#felt myself going from cool to cringe instantly (via @hatch-backward)

This is a little late for that, but leetspeak originated as basically a semi-novel encryption algorithm. It uses both letter substitutions (S -> 5|$|Z) and word/phoneme subsitutions (F -> PH, YOU -> JOO) to be legible enough to not have to teach newcomers an explicit cipher, but also to be mutable enough to be extremely difficult to program a censor-bot against. As referenced in the OP, it's seeing a minor resurgence for a similar reason - though it's clear that the massive corporations are much less scrupulous about workarounds than independent forum moderators were back in the day.

Granted, as the people who started doing leetspeak began to make their own little circles of communication, it shifted from a way to get around censors to a fun little in-joke, rite of passage, or shibboleth. This, too, is reflected in this post: I specifically used Terezi Pyrope's typing quirk (well, just not in capslock) not to get around any tumblr filter, but to convey a joke specifically to people who recognize a Homestuck. Interestingly, most of the people I've seen to try to respond in kind have used a general leetspeak, rather than an established troll typing quirk (in this manner, they fail the shibboleth).

And of course, there's no reason someone couldn't make a leetspeak-like programming language (one of my CS classes had us use C to code up a rudimentary programming language capable of variable assignment, integer arithmetic, branches, and loops). It would be a fun challenge to handle the ambiguity between literals, operators, and valid variable names - if you want it so that 8U+75 is just as valid a variable as BUTTS, you have to do something so it's not read as "8U" "+" "75"
