i know that folks from the west are not easily giving into support for palestine because “well israeli civilians dont deserve to die, stop being a dick by cheering for this”

and listen. we understand that very well. we cannot cheer for innocent people losing their lives. but we wouldnt BE here today if this were something that could have been sorted out over a negotiation

netanyahu just last week, w a disgusting ass smug face made it clear at the UN GA that he was redrawing the map of the middle east. he was literally there with a board and a marker pen, shamelessly redrawing a map of israel over palestine. people fucking clapped. there is video footage, goo look at it.

and that’s just what the west is seeing. what the west has been conveniently ignoring, or worse, supporting, is the apartheid in palestine for the past 100 years. what is happening in israel today, theyve been doing exactly that and Worse for a century in palestine.

any both sides argument misses the fucking point because it ignores a whole history of how theyve fucked over the palestinian people. not just outright killing their people but also stealing land and resources and redirecting them to the israeli cause.

but the west doesn’t actually give a fuck about arab countries or its people, in fact actively funds genocide. so eat your shitass opinion about not celebrating the one time palestinians have managed to look like a threat.

as hopeful as we are, we know israel is too powerful and has the west as its ally. but this is what palestinian journalist had to say about it “they have decided to fight and die on their feet, rather than just die on their knees”

another journalist reporting from gaza said “well the people in gaza are used to airstrikes of this kind so they have a standard protocol on how to evacuate and know when to give up, and go down together as a family”

let the enormity of those statements sink in, and then maybe you can fucking talk about both sides.

When Sasuke finally kills Itachi and Naruto is trying to catch up to him, only to see that he’s already been taken somewhere else, you just see Naruto’s heart hurting. And not even like romantic way- if you’re so opposed to that, but he just wants Sasuke to come back. To live his life without any sort of dark revenge or manipulation. To have the ability to be himself in a place that he feels safe; that he can let his guard down and simply rest. Because he hasn’t since he was seven- and Naruto saw that. You could see the anguish in his face and the silence amongst everyone when he said “why can I never reach him?” He really loves him, wholeheartedly.

You know, it always puzzled me a little when people talked about the Beauty and the Beast story... And everyone pointed out that the prince is turned into a Beast because he is vain and selfish. Which, I never understood because I didn't remember that. (What's more, I NEVER saw the entire Beauty and the Beast movie. Don't ask "why" because I don't know.) Now, after years, I realized why.

The story I grew up with didn't say that. This version of the fairy tale was different and had the witch as a capricious woman.

The prince in this version let the witch into his castle to take refuge from the cold. When the blizzard ends and the witch retreats. But not before giving the prince a gift for his hospitality. Which was a very beautiful rose. He refuses her gesture of gratitude and she becomes angry. He gets so angry that he curses him, turning him into a beast. Destroyed by this, the prince locks himself in his castle. Becoming a hermit, bitter and resentful. He becomes like this because he is bitter that they turned him into a monster just for doing a selfless action. What Bella does in this version is help him open his heart again and it is this warmth that helps break the spell.

I mean... In this version, which was in the teacher's book that my grandmother had, the only bad one was the witch. And I grew up with this moral of life of "You must be careful who you are kind to because not everyone will return your kindness." So I don't know how to feel 😂

Can we start a petition for a Polin spin-off? Please? Please? Please? Pretty please?

I loved them since s1 but I watched s3 part1 not knowing what to expect. And O. M. G!!! I loved those two babies so much that I started reading the books. When I got to the epilogue of the first book and I read the spoiler about them, I skipped the following books and went straight to theirs. Lol

I’m so in love with their love, and Luke and Nicola are doing an AMAZING job!❤️

Anon! Where do I sign??? Let me sign!!! Honestly at this point I’d watch their entire lives unfold in front of me and it still wouldn’t feel like enough 😂

And yes they’re so infectious and lovable and Luke and Nicola are doing such a fantastic job (they care sooo much)! We are lucky it’s them. I couldn’t imagine anyone else as our beloved Colin and Penelope.

I think there’s a lot of people actually who liked them in season 1 but fell for Polin the way Colin fell for Penelope during this season. I remember I almost gave up watching season 1 cause I didn’t like the show. But then it was such a global phenomenon I decided to give it another go. When that happens my brain tries desperately to find something to hold on to and to root for. And it was these two idiots and bffs in a corner. I didn’t know anything about Bridgerton but I was rooting for them. Season 2 got me more invested, Queen Charlotte got me saying I’m a fan, then all the hype around season 3 got me reviving my tumblr (and I tried really hard to resist at first 😂). And overall I think for a lot of people it was the hype and the PR around Polin that made a world of a difference. And we owe Luke and Nic a lot for working so hard to make this season extra special for us ❤️
