After TWO HOURS I got it. Oh god that secret level is um, real fuckin hard. I literally died when I did so much only to get “Checkpoint” instead of “Final Checkpoint!”

Pro-tip: make sure you have a lot of free time. I can only imagine the horror of making it to checkpoint 3 and having to quit to go to work or school.

Leaving at the middle table where Benn was sitting with his captain. It was simple sandwiches filled with chicken paté. “ That must be enough for everyone! What a fun day, ga ne! Fu ha ha ha ! Thanks for not letting me die of alcooh poiso…………………….. ” He takes a look around. Was the ship moving? Where is the islands.. where is Karai Barai? “ UAHHHH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. ” Trembling, Galdino walked by the same table, taking a seat as eyes glanced; empty at the right hand man. “ Did.. did I sleep too much, ga ne? How long…”

His fingers were on his temple, his other hand was holding his book open as he read through the fantasy novel. He’d already finished the paper for the day, and after the chaos that was cleaning up after a party he was ready for the relaxation that came from some fiction.

And honestly, he’d thought the wax man had left by now.

The sandwiches were a kind gift and he took his cigarette from his mouth, smudging it out on an ashtray. He then reached for a sandwich both out of a munching urge and politeness. “Thank you. That’s very kind-” and then the man panicked. Deciding that the panic was not worth his own he took a bite of the sandwich itself. “You slept as long as your body needed you to. We can get you where you need to be, we’re in no hurry ourselves.” His bites were polite and he lifted the sandwich, gesturing to it, “These are quite nice.”

i had already seen charlie's speech to ben on tumblr a few days ago so it didn't get me as pumped (it was very good though) but

NICK'S speech at the dinner table SKSJDNFKNGKFJGN THAT got me pumped (for two broad reasons: 1. yeah why care/who gives a fuck when your dad doesn't give a fuck about you, 2. re your dad seeing you twice a year or some shit like that... so i have an aunt who lives in one country, and her husband lives in the neighbouring country, and they probably only see each other like twice a year, and they're not divorced, and like, what the FUCK are you guys doing; my mum told me she used to (or still does) get really sad about it, so, you know, that thing with nick and his dad really hit hard, even though it's not affecting me personally; i'm just so mad at that dickhead uncle)

He got shaved, a proper leg brace and all the dirt and grime cleaned off of him within one night and maybe a few hours when Gwen found him on the bed and freaked the hell out. Seriously, there better be some fanfic around her that explains what happened that night.

Also, I’m not too mad at Max for not reacting shocked when David turned up again. I’m sure he was at least somewhat internally freaking out over why David had a leg brace and such, he just chose to keep his demeanor up. Max is pretty good at acting. Somewhat.

This episode- I- I don’t know how to feel about it. It left me happy, it left me frustrated, I'm not sure anymore. I originally thought I would be making a comparison to the Heroes of Olympus series’ House of Hades which I read a few years ago. But there aren’t really as many similarities as I thought. David is still as chipper as can be, while Percy had adopted a hidden edge to him, he had liked puns less and less and was angrier at things. 

Was this episode torture porn? Not quite, but yes. David got beaten so much in this episode, what was even the point. Were they trying to give David character progress within 12 minutes?? This isn’t my favorite episode; I’m not sure where to put it.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go watch some season-1-David to make myself feel happier.  BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
