Am also using (brother) laptop free trial TD Snap.

Better news is last night boyfriend played around grid 3 (super core 50, wordpower 100, vocabulary for life) and TD snap (core words, motor plan)

Made using aac extra fun. Both decided liked supercore 50 best. Was easiest find words and put together.

Like look of TD snap but is confusing; especially because can’t have many buttons on screen (need small grid size) and that make harder find words.

Took 2 pictures of sentences made while playing around!!

So far think going use grid for iPad, but that $300-400 while td snap $50 so hope TD snap gets easier!

If you laugh when an aac user swear, you should seriously think about why you think is so funny.

Was the aac user actually making a joke and that joke have swear word in it? Is okay if that is what so funny. But if was not joke and you just think aac is funny, I need you to think about that and un learn that. That is someone voice. Do not make fun of someone voice.

I believe that you should presume competence for all AAC user. All disabled people. All everyone should be presume competence. And gave robust AAC

things to think about for plural system people doing AAC for selves :

have alter part people words you use to talk about your system

have people different names ! can use keyboard but names say often is more easy to make button for with their picture . we do this for alters who in front a lot to make talk about them more fast

have word you use talk about yourself . like system DID plural words to say what you are

have any words use to talk about you in therapy if you go . for me my system that means role words and words like fragment and other mental illness words so can talk about symptoms .

have words like switch split dissociate blur crowded cofront coconscious . any feeling or describing words you use for you your system .

anyone can should use AAC if will help them , and would like help other people if I can because have not had a lot help knowing what need to add to my AAC and had to find out by myself . plural things easy forget because I not talk about plural lots only really with favourite friends boyfriend and therapist and sometimes on Tumblr .
