WELCOME TO THE BATIM BOWTIE AU! COMPLETE AU DESIGN LINEUP, CLOSE-UPS, OPEN Q&A, + AU INFO MASTERPOST
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊ Hello Tumblr! Welcome to BOWTIE, an in-production and soon-to-be comic series based off of the Bendyverse. This is a swap AU, and you can find ALL details, comic progress updates, and artwork here on this blog!
Yes, this is a repost to this new account as the other one has been deleted. I accidentally made the other one a sideblog, so it couldn't receive asks. ._.
Tumblr media
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊ Above is the complete main toon cast design lineup so far!
CLOSEUPS + AU INFO below the cut!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are other designs, such as Mama Pluto and Mama Venus, who will be put into separate posts of their own as I want to lay out the rules of the Overworld, Underworld, and Heaven in those posts. This is simply an introduction post, so we will keep things simple!
AU INFORMATION.
The BOWTIE au centers Diana, Doris and Alex as they make their way through the Great Depression and onward to the mid 1940's. This AU is consistent with the Bendy Crack-Up Comics Collection, and the characters are based on the Crack Up Comics renditions of Bendy, Boris, Alice, and so forth.
It's 1944, and Manhattan is bustling with activity. In an ever-recovering economy past the Great Depression, DIANA is a young imp cast out of Hell in her 500s (or simply, early 20s) blessed with the gift of misfortune. After finally stabilizing and yearning for a traditional American white-picket-fence lifestyle, she often associates with DORIS, a wolf twice her size who knows her like no other. Troubled with her identity and struggling to move on from her past, Doris welcomes Diana into her abode, where she finds herself adjusting to much more than a new house—but a home. Becoming more fearful as time passes and her bad luck wears onto the people she cares about, it seems that the local townsfolk - and a certain someone - have started to develop plans to sabotage Diana's future and send her back to Hell. Quickly evolving from a small get-away scheme to send Diana back to her realm, unfair defaults about the world become unearthed; soon to stop not only affecting Diana, but the whole cast as we know them.
Most if not all AU events occur from 1944 and onward, however there are important character events that have occurred before 1930 that will be mentioned in future posts, either through comics or character backstories.
This AU has shipping involved, so here are the pre-established relationships and dynamics between characters.
Doris and Diana were "close friends" from 1930 until 1944, where they eventually settled down, established a relationship and moved in together. This relationship is important to the story, so if you are uncomfortable or view the original Boris and Bendy as siblings you might be unpleased with this. Borendy and Dorendy (Diana/Doris) are common themes in this blog, and you don't have to like it to be respectful of it!
Charlene and Barlene are married and have been for a long time. Marriage between same-sex couples is indeed frowned upon in the Overworld so they eloped, and consequently rarely speak about this marriage to anyone besides other Butcher Gang members and the Toon Trio.
Mama Pluto (Devil) and Mama Venus (God) were once lovers.
Alex and Cody are in a situationship - Alex is constantly busy on tours in 1944, making promises to Cody to come to his next show and hopefully they will have enough time after to spend time together. Cody never misses a show of his, and is slowly becoming exhausted by this.
The BOWTIE comic will total around 45 chapters, each with estimated 20-29 pages. The comic will be cross posted on Webtoon ideally. This is subject to change as the comic is in pre-production and in the writing stage of each chapter. Be patient, as one person is creating this! However, there will be daily art and updates.
Merry (AU author) is disabled and struggles with a condition that causes occasional blindness and limb numbness, especially to the hands. During inflammation periods, the comic may be delayed due to physical limitations. After the first few chapters are released, recruitment for additional help MAY begin so delays can be avoided, and comics can be produced faster. A Google form application will be released when ready.
Feel free to draw any of the designs or do pretty much anything with them (with credit) as long as it's not questionable obviously. You can ask about what the limits are with these AU characters if you'd like!
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANYTHING TO ANY OF THE CHARACTERS, OR ASK IN GENERAL! Lore-based questions, general asks, etc. are permitted - so go wild!
Reblogs are appreciated, as this tumblr blog is new! Thank you so much if you read this far!

aha! tis' i, i reappear again! my hyperfixation on your ocs is back as you can see.
two questions:
- in agape's toyhou.se page it says that miah "is crazy in love with him". how reliable is the statement? as in, is he ACTUALLY in love or is there a misinterpretation on everyone's favorite cupid on his part?
- i remember from VEEERY old relationship charts that javier was originally the fourth member of the rock band instead of nio. was it straight-up changed or is there... Lore... behind it now (i.e. javier did an oopsie and got kicked out, or he left due to creative differences, or something of the sort)?
tysm for answering if u do!! much love from the pizza-pasta land to u <3
Hiiii ik I’m SO late but once again welcome to my abode I am always happy to see you here 🥹
Q.1. It’s sort of both!!! Since Agape is a high-ranking Cupid, pretty much the highest ranking one underneath Venus herself, just being near him can charm someone instantly! Funnily enough Miah’s actually immune to Agape’s Cupid charm, however Miah’s also weak to a cute face and (I have no other way to put this) booty/thighs so Miah still has a thing for him… Miahs weird though in the sense that he’s never ‘in love’ and is super shallow/falls for people pretty easily… boy is never thinking w/ his brain ill just leave it at that 😶 Agape’s dramatic and conceited though so he won’t pass up the chance to say someone’s head over heels for him LMAO
Q.2. You deserve like. A veterans discount for remembering this. THE REAL TRUTH is that I wasn’t rly rocking w/ Javi being in there and just replaced him but to be honest putting lore behind it would be gas. He’s such an old OC that I have yet to revamp for my current ocverse but he is in my mind constantly I love that guy🥹 He has an ‘evil dark overlord’ complex but he’s actually a softie that likes baking and he’s lactose intolerant. He also rly likes bunnies… I once ran a one-off horror campaign where he chased the players around like a slasher in a bunny mascot suit w/ a butcher knife… I miss him

At the Los Angeles premiere of Head (1968), November 19, 1968. Photo credits (as known): International Magazine Services, and Michael Ochs Archives.
“The L.A: premieres of the B4’s ‘Yellow Sub’ and the M4’s ‘Head’ lured the beautiful people from their hilltop lairs, beach abodes and love communes. […] Peter Tork, hiding his handsome face behind a thick bramble bush (even thicker than Mike Love’s luxuriant facial foliage), decorated his frame with red satin, brown cord, thonged leather and mismated sox.” - Teen Magazine, February 1969
“‘I don't remember much about that night [the premiere of Head in Los Angeles, November 1968],’ Tork tells EW.com, ‘except that we were there. But I do know this: the audience for the movie [screening and Q&A] on Wednesday is going to be bigger than the crowd we got in 1968.’” - EW dot com, November 12, 2008

List of Mythic Creatures
Q: WHAT IS THIS??!
A: This is an alphabetically sorted list of all mythic creatures I could find on Wikipedia. The names are (mostly) identical to the name that will bring up the wiki page.*
Q: All mythic creatures on wikipedia???
A: There are a few omissions: I found there were too many lake monsters so those I didn't exhaustively include. Wikipedia has a lot more information about Greek individual figures than individual figures from other cultures (like Achilles or Glauce or Dioxippe or Ajax) and when those figures are members of a mythic group (amazons, nymphs, etc.) I included them in this list, but the list may skew in favour of Greek mythic women with fewer male figures. Also I have included some gods, goddesses and non-binary deities but just like with the lake monsters, did not include most of the Wiki pages on godheads of the world. But the list should be fairly exhaustive when it comes to heavenly beings (elves of alfheim, gandharvas, horae and so on) who serve the gods in their divine abodes.
Q: Why are hobbits on the list? Tolkien made those up, right?
A: Well technically there are lists of creatures from folklore and one of those lists, which Tolkien came across, lists hobbits. It doesn't explain what hobbits are and they aren't documented anywhere else, but that may be the origin of the word hobbit.
Q: Why are some of these not actual creatures?
A: folktales that make mention of unique mythic creatures have been included. For example "The Red Ettin" is a English folktale that features herds of two-headed bulls and cows. In other cases, Wikipedia has pages like "Aboriginal Australian Creatures" or "Abenaki & Mi'kmaq beings" which are worth looking at because they provide more mythic creatures that don't have individual pages.
Q: Why are some entries styled "Savanello - Salvanello" or "Dwarf - Dwarves"
A: one of the terms is the singular and the other the plural. The list is a bit peculiar, sorry.
Q: How would you recommend this list is used?
A: You can use it any way you like, just keep in mind that some beings on this list are sacred and ideally try to be culturally sensitive about that. For example, some Ojibwe people are not exactly happy that one of their unnameable spirits has been publicly named, misspelled, attached to anti-Native stereotypes (see also here) and then completely misrepresented and trivialized as a horror monster in pop culture and so the "wendigo" comes with all that baggage, as do many other creatures on this list.
Usually if a creature is from a Neolithic / Bronze Age / Iron Age culture like Egypt or North & South Mesopotamia (Akkadian, Assyrian & Sumerian, Babylonian) there is no one who is going to raise valid ethical concerns around the use of your creature.
Similarly, if something is a generic fantasyland creature (elf, dwarf, dragon, ghost, giant, mermaid etc.) or from Greek and Roman sources (sirens, minotaurs, catoblepas) or medieval bestiaries (hydrus, iaculus) you can flesh those out with more research, but I don't think you will run into ethical problems.
But with a lot of other creatures, outreach to that community has value, because otherwise its not just a fantasy work being authored, but also some serious inter-cultural tensions. Stephenie Meyer, who decided to add Qileute shapeshifters into Twilight but never consulted Qileute and doesn't support their community in any way, is a example. There is no need to follow it.
THE LIST:
This wiki page mentions "a horde of tiny creatures the size of frogs that had spines" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_monster;
9 Mothers of Heimdallr;
Á Bao A Qu; A Hut on Chicken Legs; Aamon; Aana Marutha; Aani; Aatxe; Aayaase; Abaahy; Abaasy; Ababil; Ababinili; Abada; Äbädä; Abaddon; Abaia; Abarimon; Abarta; Abasy; Abath; Abcán; Abchanchu; Abenaki & Mi'kmaq beings; Abere; Abezethibou; Abhartach; Abii; Abiku; Abkallu; Abonsam; Aboriginal Australian Creatures; Aborigines_Roman myth; Abraxas; Abtu; Abumi-guchi; Abura-akago; Abura-sumashi; Abyzou; Acala; Acalica; Acheri; Achilleus; Achiyalabopa; Achiyalatopa; Achlis; Achlys; Acmon (Dactyl); Adar Llwch Gwin; Adar Rhiannon; Adaro; Adene; Aderyn y corff; Adlet; Adlivun; Adnei haSadeh; Adrammelech; Adroanzi; Adze; Aegea; Aegipan; Aeon; Aerico; Aes Sidhe; Aeshma; Æsir; Æsir–Vanir War; Aeternae; Afanc; Afreet; Agaliarept; Agares; Agathodaemon; Agave; Aghasura; Agiel; Agloolik; Agnen; Agni_deity; Agogwe; Agrat bat Mahlat; Agropelter; Aguara; Ahkiyyini; Ahöl Mana; Ahöla; Aholi; Ahuizotl; Ahul; Ahura; Aibell; Aide; Aido Hwedo; Aigamuxa; Aillen; Aino; Airavata; Aisha Qandicha; Aitu; Aitvaras; Aitwaras; Aiy; Ajatar; Aka Manah; Aka Manto; Akabeko; Akaname; Akashita; Akathaso; Akephaloi; Akerbeltz; Aketeko; Akhekh; Akhkhazu; Akhlut; Akka; Akkorokamui; Akshayavata; Aku-aku; Akubōzu; Akugyo; Akuma; Akurojin-no-hi; Akvan Div; Al Ana; Al Basty; Al; Ala; Alal; Alan; Alara; Alastor; Alberich; Albruna; Alcibie; Alcippe; Alcyoneus; Alebrije; Alerion; Álfablót; Alfred Bulltop Stormalong; Alicanto; Aliens; al-Jinn; Alke; Alkonost; Allerünken; Allocamelus; Alloces; Almas; Al-Mi'raj; Almops; Aloadae; Aloja; Alp; Alphito; Alphyn; Alpos; Alraune; Alseid; Altamaha-ha; Alû; Alukah; Alux; Alvaldi; Alven; al-Wakwak; Am Fear Liath Mòr; Ama no Fuchigoma; Amabie; Amadán-na-Briona; Amadís de Gaula; Amadlozi; Amafufunyana; Amaguq; Amai-te-rangi; Amala; Amalanhig; Amalur; Amanojaku; Amanozako; Amarok; Amaru; Amarum; Amaymon; Amazake-babaa; Amazons (List); Amazons; Ambika; Amefurikozō; Amemasu; Ameonna; Amikiri; Amikuk; Ammazzamareddu; Ammit; Amomongo; Amorōnagu; Amphiptere; Amphisbaena; Amy (demon); Amycus (centaur); Amykos; Anagumang; Anakim; Anammelech; Ananke; Anansi; Anasuya; Anathan; Anaye; Anchanchu; Anchimayen; Ancho; Andaokut; Andhaka; Android; Anemoi; Angak; Angalo; Angel; Angels (List); Anggitay; Angiris; Angra Mainyu; Anguane; Anguiped; Angwusnasomtaka; Anhangá; Ani Hyuntikwalaski; Anito; Anjana; Ankou; Annequins; Annunaki; Anpao; Anqa; Antaboga; Antaeus; Antandre; Antero Vipunen; Anthelioi; Anthousai; Antibrote; Antichrist; Antichthones; Antiope (Amazon Queen); Anubis; Anzû; Ao Ao; Ao Guang; Ao; Aoandon; Aobōzu; Aonyōbō; Aos Sí; Aosaginohi; Apalala; Apaosha; Apollo Amazonius; Apophis; Apotamkin; Apple Tree Man; Apsara; Apsonsi; Apukohai; Aq Bars; Arae; Araignées Lutins; Aralez; Arase; Arawn; Archangel; Archdemon; Archon; Archura; Ardat-lilî; Aremata-Popoa and Aremata-Rorua; Areto; Argus; Arikura-no-baba; Arimaspi; Arion; Arjuna; Arkan sonney; Arktos (centaur); Armaros; Arquetu; Artropos; Arzhang Div; Asag; Asanbosam; Asbolus (centaur); Ascapart; Asena; Asha; Ashi-magari; Ashinaga-tenaga; Asi; Askafroa; Ask-wee-da-eed; Asmodeus; Aspalis; Aspidochelone; Asrai; Asrestar; Astaroth; Asteria; Astomi; Astraeus; Asura; Aswang; Átahsaia; Atargatis; Āṭavaka; Athos; Atlantes (sorcerer); Atonga; Ato-sees; Atosis; Atshen; Atua; Aufhocker; Augenbrand; Augerino; Auloniad; Aura; Auriaria; Automaton; Auvekoejak; Avatar; Avatea; Awanyu; Awelo; Awes-kon-wa; Awwakule; Axehandle hound; Ayahos; Ayakashi; Ayaz Ata; Azazel; Azeban; Azhdaha; Azhdahak; Aziza; Azone; Azovka; Azrael; Azukiarai; Azukibabaa; Azukihakari; Azure Lung;

Q stans mad at Lea for 'doxxing' Q's brother. As though there isn't a real issue being someone's boss and who owns the company, refusing to give them their name. Like how can they not realise the imaginary crime of knowing someone's name and company generic email isn't the same as the very real crime of doing everything you can to suppress your workers and not pay them. The quackpalistsmp.
Anyways I look forward to reading all Q's family members who work with him names and abodes in the upcoming legal documentation from the many lawsuits I'm sure are about to be served.
yeah well they all work with public businesses and copyright filings and a dozen other things that are publicly accessible and not that unethical to find so I don't really know why they are acting like they IP scraped him or something like that...

Welcome to Church of Lost Souls
((Everything in this blog is all fiction and it does not reflect the author's view on religion. This askblog might contain some horror and dark content)
A pale priest sits down on his seat and begins to sort out his papers in proper order, "A blessed day, mortal brothers and sisters. You may call me Father Sothoth or Father Yog Sothoth. I'm here to answer any questions about our Lord Jesus and listen to any confessions you might have. All of them would be transferred into this wooden box right here."
He pats the wooden box right next to his desk. " Before you put something in this ask, we have to establish some ground rules, all written by a mortal only to be known as Q. Once again, thank you for coming to this humble abode."
Lore Tidbits (could change in time)
He is the ancestor of Francis Mosses, believe it or not. He was a mortal in the medieval times and had a child. That child had children etc. until we got to Francis Mosses. Also applies to Anastacha as well.
Quachil Uttaus is his daughter from Ishtar Ereskigal from an unholy ritual.
He is no longer associated with Ishtar Ereskigal but he does look kinda fondly at their times.
Askblog Rules (From Mod Q)
This askblog has a lot of religious and horror themes. If you are not comfortable with it, it's best you go elsewhere.
I can do some NSFW stuff. However, I'm not going too explicit with it as I'm still not comfortable RP'ing with it yet. It would fade to black if that were to happen. All NSFW stuff would be tagged as #forgive thy sins. Respect this rule please!
Any ask that is hateful towards any race, gender, sexual orientation etc. goes out the bin. The Church of Lost Souls accepts anyone no matter what race, creed or orientation you are.
Any controversial asks would not be answered.
Remember that I might take longer to answer as I do have life.
Anything else is good to go. Most asks took place in different universes.

400 Follower Milestone Event — Longan Dragon Cookie
The following letters, C O Q and X from… the Sugar list! 🍡 Time to get fluffy!
Tumblr media
🍡 C \\ Cuddles :: What are cuddles like with them?
Longan isn’t a cuddly cookie by default— nor are they romantic in the slightest bit.
However they curse the damn ancients for fucking putting you here. Why do you distract them so??
It’s like a love hate thing with cuddling.
Longan, if not preparing for total damnation, can be found lounging in their abode, hanging with the clams and some of the floating eyeballs.
You walk up to them as they sit on their throne and pull off the best puppy dog eyes imaginable and you go,
“Longan? 🥺” “Yes? What do you want?” “Can we cuddle? 🥺” “No. 😒” “Pleeeeease?” 🥺🐶” “Y/n, I said no.” “cue whining noises 🥺😫” “ugh… fine, you win… this once.” “Yay! 🥹 😁” “Hush with that, or I’ll change my mind.”
You’ll have to initiate too. They’re lazy like that. Not because they’re trying to be, they just don’t know what to do.
Even if you hug them, if they return it, it’s kind of stiff. Slowly edge them into the warmth you have to bring. They’re the type to move in baby steps with this kind of thing anyway, despite him not even liking as much as one would hope.
But soon, they’ll warm up. It’s inevitable. Their feelings switch around on position. Sometimes they want to hold, other times they want to be held.
They like it when you straddle them, kind of hugging their head so that it rests either in the crook of your neck or your chest.
As much as they would hate to admit… they grow into it and start to take a liking to your cuddles 🧡
~~~~
🍡 O \\ Oh joy! :: Do they show their feelings to their s/o before they confess? How do they court their s/o?
Longan keeps their emotions well hidden.
They believe that these feelings are a distraction, and stays in denial for a long time.
The other dragons have to piss them off so hard to make them understand. Pitaya is the main culprit.
“Oh come on, Longan Dragon! You’re in love, aren’t cha?!” “Of course not, shut your mouth.” “You actually sssat with the newbie today don’t lie to me!” “PITAYA-
proceeds to sit in their bedchamber and fucking sulk
Longan actually wouldn’t be the first one to confess either, they would wait for their s/o to do it first.
They have a strange way of confessing and or agreeing with their s/o’s feelings.
They’re s/o confesses, and then Longan returns by saying,
“I like you and anyone who gets in my way might get a handful of some shit or stay heavy hearted. Be mine and everything will be fine,” followed with a bone crushing hug.
My… how charming! 😅
They court using old customs used by all dragons— gifts.
Particularly stuff from their hoard, which is actually quite neat and tidy. They keep a lot of gold and other shiny trinkets, jewelry, that like.
They also count as possessive gifts, some of them, namely rings or necklaces. They sometimes ask you to wear something that they gave you if you two go out somewhere.
Genuinely though, most of the stuff they get you is actually real. No fake shit. Very pretty as well, they’re very selective with the stuff they choose to gift you with.
Anything with fine quality, and anything they took a liking to. They think of your reaction, your eyes, your smile, the way your cheeks glow that innocent shade of pink, your rosy lips—
They kinda get carried away and get lost in thought whole just standing as still as a board in their board.
~~~~
🍡 Q \\ Quiet :: What is their confession like? Do they loudly announce it or write it down?
Very subtle.
Again, Longan is very good with their emotions.
If anything, the courting above explains most of that they do, as well as allow some of the eyes to keep an eye on you (get it?)
Their confession tho is kinda spooky…
You get a handwritten note from a clam, and it tells you to meet them somewhere.
Like you do, you would. They seem to like the nighttime ambiance, and likes the moon, so they thought it would be fitting to confess to you at night.
They don’t really do anything too extravagant, they don’t bring anything with them, they don’t prepare anything, they just want you to meet them somewhere nice and quiet.
Maybe under a tree or in a plain, under the moonlight in the grass, making causal conversation.
But, again, Longan isn’t the first to confess, they don’t really tend to make the first move. Not because they don’t want to but because they are apprehensive.
Underneath that stony exterior is the knowledge that they are immortal— a dragon. They know they will outlive you, and as a result, is scared to fall in love with you. They know you will die someday, and that you will leave them.
They really don’t want that. If they could try and find a way to keep you alive, they would. If they could find a way to prolong your lifespan, they would go to the ends of earthbread to hunt whatever that could be down.
But they’re not going to reveal that. That’s for you to find out.
In the end though, they’re very quiet about their confession (that’s rather a response to your confession if you so choose,) and would want to try and talk to you in a private space where they know they couldn’t be found or disturbed.
~~~~
X \\ XOXO ❤️ :: How affectionate are they? Are they into PDA are they private with their love?
No PDA. Absolutely not. ❌
Although they can’t be bothered with things such as gossip. Longan is also a shy fellow and doesn’t really like all the attention out in public places.
After all, they’ve lived a life of seclusion for the most part, they don’t really like people besides the other dragons, and again… solitude.
So. With that laid out, Longan can get overwhelmed pretty quickly.
They prefer privacy. Lots of it.
Maybe as much as the confines of their own nest. Even then, Longan is still incredibly stiff at first, however, Longan can give in at some point in time. You just gotta warm them up to everything, make them realize that they’re gonna be fine.
The closest that Longan can get to showing any kind of affection on their own accord is by watching movies with you.
Naturally, Longan would become sleepy as the movie went on, and as a result they would unconsciously do things they wouldn’t do.
Their head resting on yours, a hand softly roaming over your own or over your stomach, hugging you to their side as they kinda cuddled up to you in their cozy state…
They might fall asleep too, that never happens. They look down on you if you do that but they? Yeah, they’re tired. To think you would fall asleep in their presence? Do you have any kind of guard up at all to sleep near a dragon?
Certainly they don’t around a cookie like you, that just proves that they trust you.
Longan is all about action, not words, as they believe actions are more powerful.
On rare occasions though, there is another way that they show affection.
An ivory and gold ballroom within their abode, decorated with the finest serpent carvings, the eyes moving around gracefully, the clams having their own glowing fountains.
True elegance— made for the one percent.
Ballroom dancing with your dragon, they certainly believe that back in the old times, this was also a proper way of showing affection.
Proffering ghlibi style music, like music from Howl’s Moving Castle, a proper strong piece for a nice waltz.
You can actually see their face, their glowing golden draconic pupils within their void scleras, their ivory skin and silvery hair, smiling… just the slightest bit…
While they take you away in your ivory dress clothes you smile back as they hold onto your waist more tenderly.
With every twirl, every turn and every step do you feel their hope, the hope that’s almost shrouded by their damnation. Of course, you’re that light that softens their demeanor, their attitude towards the cold ever changing world.
Their grip on your hand, soft yet reassuring, you’re the only thing true in this world, one of the things they don’t want to change. 🧡
This is a consequence free scenario and can literally be something as simple as sneaking snacks into a movie theater." - A: "I would smuggle so very many little critters and specimens into my humble abode! Of course of course, it is also very important to not keep any wild specimens trapped! They belong out in the, well, wild! But oh... to have more creatures with me forever would be a dream come true!"
Twilight quickly descends upon the island. Its darkness preys upon all the humble fire fails to reach. The only sound between the fire’s crackle and the gentle waves cleansing the shore were familiar, quiet clicks of small shells striking one another. A suppressed cackle emerges from Alice’s position, settled closer to the shaded portion of their abode as to alert Reko to any intruders who may have slipped by the other two standing guard. To recompense Alice’s inability to observe at a distance, as is necessary for the maritime forest just beyond, Keiji relaxes just beneath him with his back laid against the log seat. In Kai’s silence, he is instead the first to comment: “What’s got you laughin’?” Another low snicker rose from Alice’s throat. “You needn’t worry officer. Kai Satou, on the other hand…” Kai’s gaze does not stray from the shoreline. The moon cast nothing more than trees’ speckled shadow upon the sand thus far, but se must remain tense. A moment is all they need. A lapse of defense, and the obstructors will thoughtlessly tear these participants asunder. If Q-taro were not so resilient, neither Reko nor hirself would ever have arrived in time. In Q-taro’s wake, Kanna and Gin may very well have been lost to the whims of this callous island. No one can afford another slip-up. Once they forge escape, everyone must be there to witness it. …At Alice’s careful footsteps, se glances upward. Without the scathing sunlight, Alice certainly seems to have gained a confidence to his stride. Confidence, and little else. Courtesy of his own odd stance, this tip to heel, he provides rather easy clearance to be struck down—though Kai quickly shakes the thought from hir mind. “Behold!” Alice thrusts forth a string of shells; despite their weight, tightly knit into a bracelet of sorts, they gently sway in the wind. “At long last, I’ve concocted the finest tribute for my ex-rival.”
writing alice is fun btw
Some believe that once you’ve made contact with her, you cannot fail the climb up Mount Targon. Whether she herself is a Host to some Aspect is unknown. She can still access Bandle City- and makes it a point to visit at least once every decade-, but has fully embraced Mount Targon as her new home.
