The T310 was a tri-band GSM phone which had a colour screen. At the time it was regarded as Sony Ericsson’s answer to Nokia’s gaming-centric N-Gage. It shipped with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 which was one of the best-selling console video games at the time. A clip-on camera was also available as an accessory to this device. It also featured 32 polyphonic ringtones. There was also a version of the T310, known as the T316, that launched in the U.S. ~Mobile Phone Museum

Operation Round1, more like Escape From The Super Bowl

I went to Round1 in Concord assuming there hasn't been a shooting since 2022 or early 2023, and I was safe. Part of the game center was blocked off due to a water leak from the pipes, but I got around the leak easily. Sadly, most of the fighting game cabinets were gone and taken out, but some of the games like the Nesica X Live, Nesica X Live 2 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 stayed. As for the music games, they are mostly the same, except the old-style beatmania IIDX cabinet was gone. I was able to play beatmania IIDX 31 Epolis on the Lighting Model cabinet, as that's the only one left at the moment. I was about to play a Versus game of DanceDanceRevolution A3, but the 1P left panel wasn't working and I lost my eAmusement pass. I had to play the BEMANI games as is, since I didn't consider buying a replacement eAmusement pass then. I paid for less game credits considering the loss of many fighting games, and I used part of my allowance to buy a legal copy of the Xbox port of TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER 3. I had to do this to see if I can port over my NGO RandoMix without having to use the built-in personalized music menu. It didn't work for THPS4, but I hope I have a better chance with THPS3.

Speaking of THPS3, I only have the Nintendo 64 and Nintendo GameCube versions. I used to have the PS2 and PS one versions, but they stopped working at one point. I plan to keep the N64 and GameCube versions, along with the Xbox version for the sake of having all the different perks. N64 has near-instant load times, GameCube version performs better than the PS2 one anyways, and the Xbox version has an Oil Rig level not in the other versions. Not to mention the GameCube one has 240p FMV cutscenes like the PlayStation port.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 já alcançou recorde de downloads e tráfego online no Reino Unido no lançamento ​

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 só foi lançado oficialmente há algumas horas e ainda não temos os primeiros dados de vendas, mas já chegam notícias reconfortantes do Reino Unido para a Activision Blizzard, considerando que o recorde absoluto de downloads e tráfego online relacionado a videogames, de diversos fornecedores. De acordo com relatórios dos principais fornecedores de serviços de Internet do Reino Unido, nomeadamente EE, BT e Virgin Media O2, o lançamento de Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 revelou uma série de ligações online e tráfego de dados relativos a videojogos de nível nunca antes visto. Aparentemente, a tendência começou já nos dias de acesso antecipado, mas a explosão ocorreu em correspondência com o lançamento público de Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, portanto entre 8 e 10 de novembro de 2023. De acordo com o que foi noticiado pela Virgin Media O2, a abertura de downloads de Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 levou a um aumento de 22% no tráfego em relação ao que havia acontecido na semana anterior com o lançamento da nova Temporada Fortnite e do mapa OG , que também obteve resultados verdadeiramente notáveis. Why I won’t be leaving World of Warcraft

Hey all, I ask that you give me a moment of your time and patience, and attention. I am a long-time player of this game like so many, I started in September 2009, and I've played without breaks since then. I've endured the ups and downs, the highs and lows. I've been a dedicated elite raider and now spend my time in retirement. I got to experience the second opening of the portal and I'm enjoying Classic and Classic TBC.

World of Warcraft is a second home to me, and now that it is being tainted I want to say WHY I won't be quitting this game anytime soon.

Now before you get upset please hear me out.

When I started playing in 2009 I was SICK like DEATHBED sick. I had suffocated due to a terrible lung infection caused by an offset of the bird flu I got via a dead bird in my old apartment. But I was ignored by doctors and when I FINALLY was believed and sent to the hospital I had an O2 average below 40% so I suffered for SIX months.

When I got out of the hospital I had barely any real function, brain process, etc, and one fateful day while my partner and I were in Best Buy I picked up a copy of WoTlK. My partner refused to play it because of the things they heard about it being   'addicting' but the moment I logged on and made my wee little human priest who was a mock-up of my old DnD Cleric character I felt like I'd woken up.

Six months before my motor skills returned, the ability to deduce and strategize helped rebuild my brain. The RPG brought back my creativity (I'm a writer by trade) and my reluctant partner joined and then my mother creating a whole new unit! My partner and I reconnected because we could spend time together since I was now stuck to an O2 concentrator. And my mom started playing too and we now have a family of gnomes we play together.

World of Warcraft saved my life in 2009 in more ways than I can even share.

Fast forward to 2020. Lockdown and I am going through the worst mental health crisis of my life, I've been bedbound, I'm agoraphobic and I've got the severest anxiety and depression I've ever had in my life! But the ONE THING. the ONE THING that has been getting me through it, getting me through lockdown and all this terrible stuff going on...World of warcraft.

I am also a survivor of SA and an intersectional feminist. (This is important) I believe the survivors of what has happened and I know what they have endured. But I also know that working in the most toxic of work environments has a way to wear you down in all the ways possible. BUT I know how hard those survivors worked on this game, I know how hard it was for them to endure that and I feel within my heart that to stop playing Blizzard/Activision games would be a slap in their faces.

Watching what they created during their worst times go to waste because some a-hole created that toxicity would be a mockery of their suffering. To watch their hard work not be appreciated or used or bought so they don't receive their money would be a slap in the faces of the survivors.

As a survivor who loved what they did, I hated watching something I did go down the drain because of what I'd stood up for, and I know they'd feel the same. To Boycott, unsub, or stop playing in their names gives their attacker the power instead of them. But this game and all others like it to continue to be appreciated worked on loved, and used, and not let their attacker win is a victory.

It cannot change or undo that environment that the work was created in but it can make it great and shine like the beautiful diamond those people worked so hard on for us.

This is only my opinion and mere statement as a player of this game. I'm not going anywhere and I will stand up for those SA survivors. If you don't feel the same I understand but this is how I feel and I hope anyone who worked on this game reads this and knows we as the game base stands with you. And we won't let this game falter because of someone's evil. We are the light that stands in the darkness.

Vodafone to join with Three to create UK mobile giant

A deal to create the UK’s biggest mobile phone operator has been struck by Vodafone and the owner of Three UK.

The firms plan to merge their UK-based operations, giving them around 27 million customers and making it the biggest mobile network in the UK.

The deal it yet to be approved by regulators, which will look at whether it will push up customer prices.

The Vodafone and Three merger will take their combined market share past Virgin Media O2.

Virgin Media O2 has around 24 million customers while EE, which is owned by BT Group, has 20 million mobile users.

Vodafone and Three UK are the country’s third and fourth largest mobile firms and the combination will draw scrutiny from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

Vodafone will own 51% of the new business while Three UK-owner CK Hutchison will control the remaining stake.

Vodafone and Three claimed customers “will enjoy a better network experience with greater coverage and reliability at no extra cost” from day one.

They also said they would invest £11bn in the next generation of telecoms technology – 5G – in the UK over 10 years.

Karen Egan, head on mobile at Enders Analysis, said the companies were “certainly making a strong case for merger approval”.

However, getting there “is going to be a long and tortuous road”, she said and could take up to 18 months.

Ms Egan added that the “CMA’s hawkish approach to mergers of late is not encouraging”, after the competition watchdog blocked UK approval for Microsoft’s proposed $69bn takeover of Call of Duty-owner Activision Blizzard.
