the timeline for HER is like. 2021: have IVF baby bc covid means soccer/football is completely on hold so no missing playing time. be single mom. 2022: transfer from an australian team to a SWEDISH team. she meets her new teammate clara markstedt, they get close bc clara is helping her find housing and get settled (there’s a really cute video of katrina talking abt how she would text clara pictures of parking signs like literally daily asking her if she was ok to park there). they get together they’re adorable they’re now engaged. clara announced her retirement in like october and then in november announced that they’re having a baby together!!!! also clara is also an artist apparently which i just found out lol

oh also everyone check out harper.trio on tiktok it’s literally katrina and harper and then two other tillies (kyra cooney-cross and charlotte grant) having a blast in hotel rooms and such

in the parent lando case leetle baby predates oscar, like lando is just bringin this kid along all of 2023 idk. mclaren def is killing the social media game lol. george and alex are frequently tapped for piggy back rides bc lando is not tall enough for baby’s standards. baby draws pictures for ppl on the grid … in general very cute heart warming etc but lando is for Sure kind of an unbalanced mess n oscar is for a sure a stabilizing effect despite being like . no i don’t know how to handle this small child who wandered over to me while i was waiting for a meeting. bc he’s like . how different can handling this kid really be from handling lando

in the parent oscar cases it also just like . Makes Sense. oh new team n ur teammate is reaching out to help you settle in. oh no you’re getting closer and oh no your toddler adores them and triple oh no YOU adore them… but i am slightly more intrigued by parent lando even tho it makes less “sense” on paper . maybe bc it makes less sense on paper? idk.

HAHFHWFHWH TRUEE REAL. exactly. i appreciate their dynamic as This but i also appreciate the Duality of their dynamic as being one where they can stop feeling the weight of Responsibility around each other due to the way their specific Responsibility complexes are changing/have changed. And also they all cancel each other out anyway. And their extreme Ride or Die attitudes go crazy. Almost Concerningly supportive of each other.

But anyway. when they Hang Out, as they are all overconfident and overly serious in some way, somebody always manages to start a competition that nobody can back down from or wants to lose and it spirals from there I think. but again. they are Unmasking Buddies. They have enough relatability between all of them that they feel no reason to cover many things up or put on a facade. because of the Understanding. Also every time they hang out for a certain amount of time they always delve into those like Deep Introspective conversations, probably. does this make sense.

this is all after a while though. like it would take them some time to overcome some hurdles and reach this dynamic. Teru and Shou only don’t immediately click because of Experiences and Circumstances though.

ALSO i think of your post where its like. They are Good Kids still and they'd stop whatever they were doing to like. help an elderly lady cross the street or something. Still holds true with Teru in the mix. maybe even more.

idk if it's a fun fact or not but! Right's favorite color is green. He never wears green but it's his favorite color. then I've been working on silly emotes for my OCs and they're "disappointeddad" and "tryme".

(Also there is an AU where these two are knights along with Paul and Evelyn while Brent/Caspian/Atticus are princes. Chris is basically Caspian's personal guard while Right just runs around trying to do everything to stay busy even when not on duty which stresses Chris out. But since he's kinda busy with the crown prince it defaults to Paul having to babysit Right.)

Why are we as a fandom not talking more about this scene ??

Clive is literally asking the professor to come back and stop him. Like this isn't him pretending to be Future Luke : he looks genuinely upset/displeased even after the professor promises to come back. He only goes back to smiling after the professor says, and I quote "I wouldn't dream of leaving things here in that state" before talking about stopping his future self. Clive wants confirmation that Layton is actually going to confront the bad guys, that he won't just solve the mystery but fix it too.

And this is literally so important. Clive's speech at the end, about getting saved. This is concrete proof that he had truly meant it from the start, because he's asking for Layton to stop him and thus save everyone here. Which, hey- he didn't just hope and wait to get saved, he tried to save himself too.

Yep, that's right. The game talks about how dangerous it was for Clive to bring Layton underground : it doesn't talk about how even more dangerous it was to let him leave. He could have brought back cops (he did). He could have gathered precious knowledge out there (he did). He could have never come back (and yet he did !!). Clive letting Layton leave is the biggest threat to his plan, and yet HE DID. And you know what else he did ? Make Layton promise to stop him. You can't make a clearer call for help, you just can't.

"Oh but it doesn't make his crimes more forgivable, now does it-" of course not. This isn't about Clive's redemption, it's about Clive trying to avoid needing a redemption : his efforts are vain the moment he started using the fortress. But. There were efforts.

man i forgot how… kind the language in this book is. even though its a sad read with a lot of really tragic and difficult scenes, the prose in this book feels kind of like a mother’s hug comforting her crying child.

this comes immediately after such a sobering opening- nothing dramatic, just a pregnant cat that has been walking in a rainstorm after being abandoned by her owners and establishing that she’s not just helpless- she’s horribly alone. and when she finds shelter, the trees “watch over her”- a description that could have been sinister in another book, but here, it’s to show that Calico won’t always be alone- that nature itself cares about her. it’s so sweet

as some may have noticed I have two main interests in MHA when it comes to characters, it's either just LoV or... Izuku Midoriya (Ochako is somewhere she's good)

So when the new event was coming I was trying my best to get something out of curiosity mostly since Step-Up recruit is a new thing

a thing that helped me do this when I just got him since allllll of the things I get for pieces go to level up Tomura for now

so I tried to get the "extreme" difficulty in the event for the first time (I thought is required beating it in one try) and it was great, so with a single pull I got this guy and I wanted to get him since they've revealed the outfits

I go to MHUI mostly to get my head off all the anxiety and stuff and it's a relaxing game in a way (if you don't count the Arena battles) I don't need to worry for the next URs if they're not like this Steampunk Midoriya or the Fantacy AU guys, and I mostly roll for them for fun, I'm still a LoV player first and they don't get the exclusive to Class 1-A things, so I can get them from any recruit which is great

My back's been hurting all day and like it's not the worst it's been but it's this dull constant pain that's making me feel all worn out so i just. Keep going back to sleep. I have slept all day lmao but i am still tired.

Ugh okay i need to. Do something about all this but now i'm scared of not having the money for things. . .i have the money for the surgery but i haven't worked much the past two weeks so i don't have much money coming in. . .i won't have a fallback if i pay for it now.

But i need it done it needs to be done i'm mostly just worried about rent and my storage unit(which both add up to less than $500 surely i can manage that?) and i might be able to get food stamps now that i'm not working full time anymore and will be doing temp. . . .

Ugh as much as i'm happy to be free of that client the lack of consistent pay is an issue lol
