"Lisa!" y/n laughed, smacking her girlfriend's hand away from the icing bowl again, the Scott whining as she did so, glaring teasingly at her lover.

"It's baby to you!" Lisa scolds and y/n chuckles as she presses a quick kiss to the woman's lips.

Lisa smiles a little at that, sat happily on the counter as she watched her lover bake cupcakes, y/n hummed lightly along to the music from the radio.

She was swaying lightly and Lisa couldn't help but slide from the counter and wrap her arms around her lover's waist, folding into her as she rested her forehead against her shoulder.

The two swayed like that for a moment, y/n finally finishing the icing on her first batch of cupcakes, the second and third in the oven currently.

Lisa was far too used to her lover baking, she knew she found it relaxing after training and the staff never complained about the sweet treats they got the next day.

y/n turned in Lisa's light hold, their faces coming level, considering they were the same height, and Lisa smiled softly as y/n raised a cut bit of the cupcake.

"Open." She tells Lisa who does and she feeds her the sweet treat, Lisa groaning at how good it tasted.

"When we retire, you should open a bakery, because jesus." Lisa says, pecking her girlfriend's lips.

"It tastes okay then?" y/n asks and Lisa nods.

"Fantastic, though I prefer something else sweet." Lisa says, the suggestive tone seeping through her voice as she presses her lips back against her lover.

y/n lets out a chuckle but grips her girlfriend's shoulders with a gasp when a cold hand spreads over her lower back, sneaking under her shirt to press her body into Lisa's.

"You're insatiable Evans." y/n mutters to her girlfriend, who hums and begins to move her lips down her girlfriend's neck, pausing when her lover lets out a small whimper of pleasure.

Just as Lisa goes to nip at the skin, the oven timer begins to beep, and y/n snaps into action and pushes her girlfriend lightly from her as she gets the cupcakes out the over.

Lisa groans in annoyance and y/n laughs at her as she makes sure the cupcakes are ready, she places them on the cooling rack and turns to her pouting girlfriend.

"Let me finish these, and then we can continue that." y/n winks and Lisa grins.

"We can have sex?" She asks excitedly.

"You're saying it like you haven't had it in years." y/n laughs and Lisa pouts.

"Feels like it." Lisa huffs and y/n rolls her eyes.

"Lisa it's been four hours!"

y/n was exhausted by the time the game came to it's end, it was a good result, the win would keep them in the top four of the table, which no one had expected from West Ham at the beginning in this season.

Shaking a few hands, y/n laughed when a body landed on her back, her girlfriend pecking her cheek multiple times. The crowd of Chigwell cheered, seeing one of the couples of West Ham.

While Mackenzie and Kirsty were cute, they were a lot less touchy during game time, Lisa and y/n were the opposite, both very touchy people, and therefore would always share some sort of contact after the game.

People loved them, the Scottish forward and English CAM, the two worked so well, and today was just proof, two goals for y/n, plus to assists, one to Lisa's goal and one to Riko's.

"There she is, our golden girl!" Lisa hums in her ear, y/n's hands gripping her thighs as she keeps her safe on her back.

"Hmm, had to do something, hadn't scored in three games babe." y/n chuckled as they moved to the crowd, Lisa hopping off her back as they began to sign some shirts and take some photos.

Eventually the girls moved back into the changing rooms, 'Strawberry Kisses' blasting from a happy Mackenzie as the group quickly showered and changed.

As they all came down from their win, y/n was talking to Kirsty not noticing Lisa nodding at Mackenzie who paused the music as Lisa stood up on a bench.

"Oi!" Lisa called shutting everyone up.

"Lovely as always babe." y/n chuckled and Lisa rolled her eyes at her lover.

"As you all know, me and the missus will be celebrating 7 years next weekend." Lisa begins.

The two had decided to have a party the day after their game, as they were playing a Saturday game for once, and of course their team was invited, as well as their national team-mates who could make it.

"So, Sunday afternoon, we will be having a barbecue that you are all welcome to join." Lisa explains as people cheer.

"So, it's an anniversary party?" Mackenzie asks, a small smirk on her lips.

"Well that and I'm hoping, an engagement party." Lisa admits as she jumps down and onto one knee, a velvet box in her hands as the team all gasp.

"Oh my god." y/n says in shock, hand covering her mouth as she watches her girlfriend.

"Baby, marry me?" Lisa asks, she had never been fond of speeches.

"Yes, yes, a hundred times yes." y/n nods, trying not to burst into tears. "Is this a joke?" She then asks in shock.

"Yes babe, I got on one knee and bought a ring for a laugh." Lisa scoffs sarcastically as she leans up and grabs her lover's face, bringing her in for a long kiss.

The team begin to cheer loudly, Kirsty winking at her girlfriend as they were the only two who were aware of Lisa's plan, and as the two pull away it was clear to see the excitement.

"You sure?" Lisa asks her girlfriend.

"Of course, no one else I'd rather." y/n smiles softly and Lisa sighs in relief as she slides the ring on her finger.

"God I love ya." Lisa sighs, kissing her forehead.

"I love you too." y/n chuckles, before they are flattened by a very excited group of girls.

Drawing each other (CRPS 1/2)

I'm probably going to forget to break these posts up unless like- I dont write all the fandom parts at once so I'm sorry you guys have to see the same prompt but different groups of characters/fandoms over and over LMAO

Characters: slenderman, splendorman, masky, hoodie, ticci toby

Notes: reader is GN, admin tossed a coin on whether or not the reader is an artist or not

SLENDERMAN

neither of you are... good artists... but neither of you are about to judge one another for your skill levels

im... not even sure hes picked up a pencil before in his life, and that shows in his drawing of you

he keeps the art you make of him tucked away somewhere, where exactly... youre not actually sure, but you know he keeps them as youve caught him holding them before

you keep his drawings of you tucked away somewhere where they cant be damaged

... its not the best bonding activity, but its a nice little moment between the two of you that feels... normal

SPLENDORMAN

he love love loves watching you draw, so when you approached him with this idea hes over the moon! you want to draw him? and you want him to draw you as well? say no more!

hes not insanely skilled, but he doodles here and there! likes using bright colors, so expect his drawing of you to be vibrant! if you let him hes going to add extra stuff such as glitter and stickers! youre not sure where he gets them...

waits patiently for you to finish your drawing, he even does his best to sit as still as possible so you can get a better reference of him

even if its not your best work- in your opinion- hes going to treat it like its the greatest piece of art made by anyone ever

hangs it up on the fridge, and will constantly praise you

is it a little much? ...yes... but damn it hes going to let you know how much he loves it!

MASKY

i like to think that proxies are the ones who create slenders pages, and... well they arent exactly pretty, a lot being just scribbles

doesnt find much enjoyment in drawing, but he may agree to do this with you

now you on the other hand, you like drawing... and its likely masky may pick up on some of the things you do when making it, even if you dont notice him hes somewhere watching you

his drawing of you has the scratchy look a lot of the pages have... but since hes given more time to work on it, it looks a lot nicer than some of the pages even if theres some flaws in the anatomy and all

quietly looks at the drawing youve made of him, he doesnt seem offended by your portray of him so at least you have that going for you!

gently places it on the table, but youre sure hes going to put it in his stash somewhere in the house to keep for later

HOODIE

not much of an artist, and neither are you

generally the interaction is pretty light hearted, even if there isnt much talking between the two of you

very proud of his drawing of you, even if it ends up being a mass of colors that only slightly resemble you- similar to masky, theres a lot of that scratchy black scribbling on his drawing of you

gives you a thumbs up when he receives your drawing of him, he doesnt say anything but thats to be expected from him

tucks it into the back pocket of his pants

TICCI TOBY

he cant draw, but you can... it leads to a.. funny exchange

you put so much time into drawing him how you view him, even if its just a quick colored sketch, its going to look like mona lisa compared to what toby is about to show you

you both poke fun at the skill difference between the two of you, it quickly leads to the both of you needing to take minute in order to catch your breath

hes not interested in art, or improving his skills however hes going to jump at the idea of you offering to teach him some stuff

just to spend time with you, really! there isnt much spare time to do that given his being a proxy thing... likes any excuse to hang around

Summary: You have an unpleasant encounter with an older man.

My warnings are not exhaustive but be aware this is a dark fic and may include potentially triggering topics. Please use your common sense when consuming content. I am not responsible for your decisions.

"So your sister will be coming by next week with the little ones," your mother declares as you stand at the sink, scrubbing away the remnants of roast beef and potato. "You'll get to play auntie for the day."

"Mhmm," you nod, "what about Justin?"

"Oh, your brother's down visiting with his fiance's family. He said he'd try to make if for Christmas Eve but you know how her family is."

You sniff and pretend to know. You really don't. It's all hearsay to you. You don't hear much from either siblings; they have lives, you just happen to be related.

"S-sounds great," you utter as you put another plate in the rack.

"Oh, honey, you should just use the dishwasher," she says.

"It's f-f-fine, this works," you insist.

"Well, what about you? What are you up to?" She leans on the counter.

"I..." you don't know what to say. You need a lie, anything to appease her. Your brother's engaged, your sister has the white picket fence and you have nothing, "oh, I h-have a job interview."

"You do?" She sounds thoroughly disbelieving.

"Uh, yeah, w-well," you stammer through, trying not to give away your deceit, "since n-no one wants to h-hire me in my f-field, I f-found something new."

"That's exciting," she chimes, "what is it?"

"Uh, I w-want to see i-if it turns out b-before I say," you give a tight-lipped smile, "don't want to d-disappoint you again."

"Sweetie, you're not a disappointment," she hums, "I'm always happy to see you trying."

You look down at the sink and shrug. Behind that comment is the inference that you weren't trying before. That you haven't been. The long nights with vivid nightmares don't exactly motivate you and you've been all but blacklisted as an executive assistant. Even admin roles aren't responding. Even if you do get a bite, the job market is drawn out and tedious.

"Thanks, mom."

"Just... try not to mope around the kids," she chides, "it's Christmas."

You flutter your lashes, "sure, mom."

That's what you are to everyone; weak, pathetic, useless. No, don't do that. You'll make another appointment with Lisa, she always knows what to do.

Well, this is it. A last resort. One of those freelancing websites that pays pennies. It's better than nothing and will keep you from having too big a gap on your resume. You could easily do the writing gigs, easy money for transcription. You apply to a few of those and scroll on.

You sit up as you see a particular posting that interest you. Oddly enough, the pay isn't half bad. It's also labeled as 'may lead to ongoing work'. Well, well, well, now that's something.

You click into the posting for 'Podcast Script Writer' and review the details. A sample is required for application and lucky enough, you have lots of those hanging around. If it wasn't for your stammer, you'd have an episode done by now. You deleted enough recordings to the point of giving up. Well, this is a solution. You can get your work out there without having to embarrass yourself.

You go through the application, putting in your info and editing a draft before attaching it to the application. You just hope it's thorough enough. You never really let anyone else see and hitting submit makes your stomach flip. With the final click, you close your laptop and quickly get up. Alright, you're not going to dwell on it. If you hear anything, you'll worry then.

You try to read but can't focus. It just makes you think of the posting and your application. Oh jeez, imagine you're rejected but worse, they tell you you've done everything wrong.

Appointment! You can't forget that. You login to the app and put in a request for a Zoom appointment that week. Alright, you're getting things done, you can't say you've done nothing.

You put a video on your phone and lean it on the pop out grip, propping it up on your mattress to watch the compilation of sitcom moments cut together on Youtube. Your mind wanders and your eyes begin to sag as the day shrouds you in fatigue. You slip into a shallow doze as the glare of the screen flickers over you.

The distant clack of keyboards and clicking of mouses needles behind your ears. It's as if you're trapped in a bubble of silence, all colours and noised dampened by the unseen wall. You shudder as you hear his voice, the only thing that's clear. Your name crawls up behind the shell of your ear with his breath as his hands settle on your hips. Your body aches as every muscles tightens and your bones lock in place. Please, no, not again...

"Sir..." you try to speak but nothing comes out. He's always tugging your skirt up, his hand is around your throat. You close your eyes as tears stain your cheeks.

You wake with a start, your phone black as the battery's drained from neglect. You sit up and pant, looking around your dark bedroom, the moonlight limning shadows sinisterly. You gulp and fall back, watching the ceiling as the tears rise in reality and sting your eyes.

If you'd just said no. A simple word. Even you can manage that.

You lay for a while until your restlessness boils over. You get up and plug in your phone. The screen lights up as you rub your eye socket and yawn. There's an email notification in the taskbar. Probably more ads for things you can't afford.

You pull down the menu but find ‘Application Update’ emblazoned across the notification. Oh wow, that was fast. You keep yourself from tapping on the email.

You don't know if you can handle another rejection. You'd rather languish in the uncertainty. You've been doing so for so long, it almost feels safe.

We can take several days to answer questions. At the moment, there is only 1 active member (that's me) and the rest come and go as their schedule permits. I cannot get to all the asks in a timely manner, but I can answer them closer to the weekend. Please be patient with me and the rest of the admin. We will get to your asks, we will answer them. Don't worry. We do not delete asks, or ignore them (unless they are repeat questions). Your ask will be posted, no need to send them in multiple times. We did not forget to answer. Just give us some time.

I keep getting called a Karen by a few women at my work and I don’t know what to do, as I am a white woman and the women bullying me are in fact black women, and I’ve not done anything other than just started my new job there and all I can think is that they didn’t like me asking questions about what it’s like there etc. and I didn’t say or do anything that can be considered or said to be racist? One of them said as we were finishing that nobody would side with a white woman over them and they’d spread my name online and end me. I’m seriously depressed about this whole situation as my new job was a move and promotion that I wanted for a long time and now with these women targeting me I don’t know what to do. As who will believe me as it doesn’t seem like these sort of women bullying me are ever going to be stopped doing what they’re doing to innocent women like me that have seriously not done anything wrong as even though I’m a left wing progressive woman I don’t feel that non-minorities are listened to by these sort of faux claims of racism, sexism and bullying /abuse etc.

First, if you haven't already, you need to loop your boss and HR in immediately. Right now. If your boss or HR admin is one of these ladies, go above her. Stick just to the facts about what happened when you report what's happening. If you already have reported it, follow up. Say "The issues I reported to you on XX date are still happening and it's still causing (or now causing) X, Y, Z impact to A, B, C deliverables/results, and they are also now making B and C threats of retaliation. What suggestions do you have to address this?"

Second, lock your social media down tight. Restrict your visibility to friends only. Exclude your accounts/profiles from searches.

Third, document. Document, document, document. Every interaction you have with these ladies. Everything you've said, everything they've said, as verbatim as possible as you can remember. Include dates, times, locations, and witnesses/bystanders. If there's any harassment over messages (emails, texts, Slack, etc.) include screenshots in your write-ups. Do it immediately after every interaction you have with each one of them, whether individually or in groups. Also document every discussion you've had with your boss(es) and/or HR about these ladies/these situations too.

After writing it up, immediately email it to yourself - your work email and your personal email. If you have your own printer, print them out too and keep paper files in a locked drawer the ladies don't have access to or at your home.

This documentation is important because it creates a paper trail. If the ladies escalate, you have documentation proving your role (or lack thereof). If the company fails to protect you, you have documentation describing and showing what they didn't do.

I'm just going to be direct here. We live in a time where white people - white women especially - have to be very careful about what we say and do. It doesn't matter what our allyship is or our politics or what we think is right or how much credibility someone does or doesn't have. So when you make these reports, when you do this documentation, leave all of that out of it. Stick only to the facts, which is "I was in Conference Room 1 with Jane, Lisa, Sue, and Joe on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, for a discussion about X that took place between 1:30pm - 2:15pm. {{Discussion summary}} At approximately 2:15pm when the meeting ended, I said A. Lisa said B, then Joe said C. Our interaction ended at approximately 2:20pm when I returned to my office alone." Leave the feelings out, leave the justification out, leave your perspective out, leave your allyship and your politics out. Stick only to the facts.

If I had to guess about what's happening here, it's probably that one of those ladies applied for your job, didn't get the position, and now she's taking it out on you and enlisted her friends to help.

Personal Sal and Larry headcanon’s ✨🎸

Sal

Stays up very late or goes to bed extremely early and never an in between

He practically moved in with Larry after they met, half of his stuff stays at Larry’s and the other half is at his apartment

Probably walks around making guitar sounds, especially if he’s learning a new song

Showers only when he can (depression is really getting to him) The gang do try to help him take care of himself tho. They do their best and so does Sal 💙

Has movie nights with Gizmo, he does nothing else for these nights and makes no other plans

Has a floordrobe going. Forgets that some things might actually need to be washed.

His jumper and jeans are extremely ripped. He thinks it looks well cool and continues to wear them, styling them new ways the more they are ripped

Larry

Larry shampoos his hair like 5 times in a shower because he believes it counts as 5 showers. Then he complains about how dry and crusty his hair his. Mans has never laid eyes on conditioner in his life.

When Ash finally tells him that conditioner exists he uses it 5 times (same as his shampoo rule) and now he complains about how greasy his hair is. However he takes no one’s advice because he thinks his logic is right.

Very much a guy that orders takeaways at ungodly hours of night for him and Sal, they eat half and leave the rest for later.

Constantly has to try explain to his mum what the “weird smell” is. Sal almost told Lisa and Larry didn’t speak to him for a day.

Avid hater of doing the washing (laundry) only allows it to happen once a month. Probably quite blind to how bad he smells.

Misc

Ash comes round to check in on them a lot. Helps them do life admin when she can. Usually just comes round for chit-chats, ghost business or just causal friends time.

Todd convinces the two of them to study when it’s exam time. They often add to his exam stress.

This will probably feel like it’s coming out of the blue, as The Simpsons isn’t something I’m known for posting on main, but like…I’ve had a long-term fascination with this show. I saw the first few seasons when I was a kid. I had to watch it at a friend’s place and my grandparents’ place, because, like many parents raising kids/teens in the 1980s-1990s, mine were convinced Bart was a bad influence. Lisa’s ambition and cleverness have always meant a lot to me, but this strange rumination has more to do with my eternal puzzlement over the bad rap Bart has gotten from parents.

I can say more than ever, especially with regard to the past decade or more of seasons, that Bart is actually a really sweet kid. Mischievous and bored, but genuinely sweet. Meanwhile, Lisa’s got a devious streak a mile wide and is probably the fictional kid my parents should have been most worried about teaching me dubious behavior and scheming (because she knows how not to get caught).

I’m sure this conversation has been had many times over on the internet, but this moment of navel gazing in the wake of watching the first handful of episodes from the latest run (Season 35, how the fuck has this show been around for all but the first 7 years of my life?) just feels…necessary somehow. Every once in a while, when a piece of media has been with me for a long time, I’ll have this weird realization that the character who means the most to me isn’t the one in whom I saw the obvious parts of myself at first.

Sure, I’ve always been a dutiful, ambitious student—even now that I’m an adult who teaches college undergrads, I don’t think I’ve ever shed that. But I was also that weird, imaginative, often-bullied kid who didn’t know they were neurodivergent, who got yelled at for not paying attention during class and sneaking off to the woods adjacent to my elementary school during recess. Sometimes, I took the fall for the occasional prank my few close friends and I would play because I wasn’t good at getting out of the way in time. I had a real disdain for authority, although I knew how to hide it from the few teachers and admins I genuinely liked/respected.

I don’t really have an earth-shattering point to make here except that, huh, it’s neat to realize Bart is the one I related to the most all along. It never even occurred to me that we’re both oldest children; Lisa is eldest-coded sometimes even though she’s the middle kid, but…damn, if Bart’s experience as the oldest isn’t similar to mine. You get cracked down on, get in trouble for, things that your parents can’t be arsed to go after by the time your younger siblings come along. You love those little shits with all your heart even though they aren’t above rubbing their immunity in your face. You shatter beneath the pressure of things that finally, finally hurt too much to keep up the tough-guy façade.

Anyway, Bart: my parents were wrong about you. Everyone’s parents were. I feel that even more strongly as an adult than I did when I was a kid. And the kids like you, like us—more sensitive than meets the eye, mind always racing a mile a minute, mischievously curious, all too often misunderstood—are the reason I became a teacher. Thank you for that.

I’ve been saying to friends for a long time, when The Simpsons comes up in conversation, that the cast of this show are our Players: “Let them be well used, for they are the abstract and brief chronicles of the time. After your death you were better have a bad epitaph than their ill report while you live.”
