✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵
It was a regular Saturday afternoon and you were studying at the library everyone goes to that's around the corner from school. Your boyfriend Ethan decided to tag along wanting to help you study for your upcoming exam.
The both of you have been at the library for about an hour now and you were starting to get pretty bored. Ethan had got up and went to look at the books while you sat and listened to the videos that you were assigned to watch.
You look around seeing if you can see Ethan from where you're sitting. When you see that he's not in your sight you pause the video and take out your headphones standing and walking around to the aisle .
Walking down a few aisles and not seeing Ethan till you turn a corner and see him reaching for a book on a high shelf. You watch as he reaches and his shirt lifts showing his toned abs and his happy trail that leads down into his pants.
You bite your lip before walking over and slowly wrapping your arms around his waist. Ethan jumps and turns around making you back away. He slaps his hand over his chest letting out a sigh.
"Baby, you scared me! I thought you were a random." Ethan says while looking down at you. You just smile up at him before letting your hands slide up his toned stomach sneaking your hands under his shirt.
Ethan's breath hatches and he grabs your wrists.
"B-baby what are you doing?" Ethan speaks softly not wanting his voice to get loud. You put your finger up to your lips before winking at him and dropping down to your knees.
Ethan gulps loudly watching as you get down on your knees in front of him. He quickly snaps back into reality when he realizes you both are still in the library. Ethan reaches down grabbing you by the forearm, trying to pull you up.
"B-Babe you can't do this! Not here, please." He whisper yells, that last part coming out as a whine. You don't listen and continue to undo his belt.
"What if someone comes down this way, we could get c-caught baby." Ethan whines out balling the side of his sweater up in his hands.
"You best bet is to pray no one wants to read history fiction and keep quite baby boy." You say while unbuttoning his pants and pulling his zipper down.
Ethan just nods really wanting you to continue, the thought of someone walking down the aisle and seeing this makes his cock grow harder.
Ethan has always been a sucker for public play so he just lets you do what you do best.
You pull his pants down a bit to hand low around his waist, just enough to pull his cock out from his underwear. His cock slaps against his stomach making his shudder at the cold air hitting it.
You look up to see Ethan looking down at you with hooded eyes and his mouth gapped open. You gently grab his cock making his hips stutter.
You slowly move your hand up and down making Ethan whimper and grip onto his sweater tighter.
"P-please go faster mommy." Ethan says fully slipping into his space. I listen to his wish and start moving my hand faster. Ethan lets out a yelp before slapping his hand over his mouth throwing his head back.
You continue to pump Ethan listening to his muffled moans and watch as his hips thrust into your hand. You feel as his cock twitches in your hand and see his tip becoming darker.
Ethan really wants to let his load go and cum all over your face , but he knows not to cum unless you allow him so he's trying his best to hold it and be your good boy.
"Does my baby boy wanna cum? You wanna cover mommy in your cum?" You ask while sticking out your tongue and kitty licking his tip making him put his hand on top of your hand.
"U-uhh m-mmommyyy pleaseeeee let me cum! I wanna give it to you mommy, please let me give it to you!" He says sounding recked and fucked out just from a simple handjob.
You let out a little chuckle watching as he falls completely apart. You wrap your lips around his tip and pull away with a pop. Ethan's knees start to buck feeling very weak right now. You look up at him and he looks down at you with tears rolling down his face and his nose red and lips swollen from bitting them.
"Go ahead baby boy, give it to me." You say and that sent Ethan over the edge. Ethan lets his load flow out of him and all in your mouth. You hold your mouth open letting it fill your mouth.
Ethan twitches filling overstimulated from you still pumping him. Ethan puts his hand on your shoulder and gives it a squeeze.
"No more mommy, no more please." Ethan lets out using the sleeve of his sweater to wipe his face clearing his face of the tears.
You stop pumping him and help Ethan out with his pants after you help him you stand back to your feet. Ethan quickly wraps his arms around your shoulders placing his face in your neck. You rub his back forming small circles.
"Was it too much for you baby?" You ask feeling worried never getting this type of reaction outta him.
"I'm just tired, but that was amazing." Ethan mumbles out making you laugh. You pat his back.
"Come on baby, let's get out things and go home." You say and Ethan nods his head in your neck but not letting you go.
"Can we just stay like this for a little bit please?" Ethan asks and you just nod your head allowing him to hold you.

“The sixties will be remembered for The Beatles, Andy Warhol and me.” Jacqueline Susann
“Adult books / I don't understand / Jackie Susann meant it that way …” from the single “Adult Books” by Los Angeles punk band X
Died on this day: bestselling pill poppin’, Pucci-wearing, bouffant-haired steamy novelist and inveterate self-publicist extraordinaire Jacqueline Susann (20 August 1918 – 21 September 1974). Valley of the Dolls – the 1966 best-seller and 1967 movie adaptation - will always be a sacred cultural touchstone for me. (Dolls! Dolls! Dolls! Books about Palestine and Palestinian Heritage
This is by no means an exhaustive list. These are books I was able to source from my local library and thought other people might appreciate them as well. I have not read them all, but the intention of the list is Palestinian perspectives and characters.
List order: Children's books, Young Adult books, Adult books, Graphic novels
Junior
We Are Palestinian A Celebration of Culture and Tradition by Reem Kassis: A stunning non-fiction children's book celebrating everything Palestinian! From culture and food, to music and literature, We Are Palestinian is a celebration of Palestinian heritage. Brought to life by award-winning writer Reem Kassis, every spread is filled with wonderful anecdotes, fascinating facts, and memorable quotes.
Homeland; My Father Dreams of Palestine by Hannah Moushabeck: A Palestinian family celebrates the stories of their homeland in this moving autobiographical picture book debut by Hannah Moushabeck. With heartfelt illustrations by Reem Madooh, Homeland: My Father Dreams of Palestine is a love letter to home, to family, and to the persisting hope of people, which transcends borders.
Three Wishes; Palestinian and Israeli Children Speak by Deborah Ellis: Ellis turns her attention to the young people of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. After visiting the region to conduct interviews, she presents their stories here in their own words. Twelve-year-old Nora, eleven-year-old Mohammad, and many others speak directly about their lives -- which prove to be both ordinary and extraordinary: They argue with their siblings. They hate spinach. They have wishes for the future. Yet they have also seen their homes destroyed and families killed, and live amidst constant upheaval and violence.
Farah Rocks Florida by Susan Muaddi Darraj: Farah's little brother is in the hospital with a heart problem that needs surgery, so her parents send sixth-grader Farah off to stay with her grandmother in a retirement condo in Florida; Sitti Fayrouz does not speak much English, has a lot of rules, and does not understand Farah's interest in geology, so Farah is not happy with the move--but despite being the only child in the community, Farah finds that the people are nice, and despite getting off to a bad start (she accidentally dumped a soda on his lap) she forms a friendship with Dr. Fisher, who shares her interest in science. Palestinian-American Author.
These Olive Trees by Aya Ghanameh: The story of a Palestinian family's ties to the land, and how one young girl finds a way to care for her home, even as she says goodbye. It's 1967 in Nablus, Palestine. Oraib loves the olive trees that grow outside the refugee camp where she lives. Each harvest, she and her mama pick the small fruits and she eagerly stomp stomp stomps on them to release their golden oil. Olives have always tied her family to the land, as Oraib learns from the stories Mama tells of a home before war. But war has come to their door once more, forcing them to flee. Even as her family is uprooted, Oraib makes a solemn promise to her beloved olive trees. She will see to it that their legacy lives on for generations to come.
Ghaddar the Ghoul And Other Palestinian Stories by Sonia Nimr: Retells nine Palestinian folktales featuring women of character, genial tricksters, and mischievous animals.
Balcony on the Moon; Coming of Age in Palestine by Ibtisam Barakat: Balcony on the Moon follows Ibtisam Barakat through her childhood and adolescence in Palestine from 1972-1981 and chronicles her desire to be a writer.
Young Adult
We're in This Together A Young Readers Edition of We Are Not Here to Be by Linda Sarsour: In this middle grade edition of We Are Not Here to be Bystanders , Linda shares the memories that shaped her into the activist she is today, and how these pivotal moments in her life led her to being an organizer in one of the largest single-day protests in US history. From the Brooklyn bodega her father owned to the streets of Washington, DC, Linda's story as a daughter of Palestinian immigrants is a moving portrayal of what it means to find your voice in your youth and use it for the good of others as an adult.
Tasting the Sky A Palestinian Childhood by Ibtisam Barakat: In this groundbreaking memoir set in Ramallah during the aftermath of the 1967 Six-Day War, Ibtisam Barakat captures what it is like to be a child whose world is shattered by war.
Something More by Jackie Khalilieh: A contemporary teen romance novel featuring a Palestinian-Canadian girl trying to hide her autism diagnosis while navigating her first year of high school, for fans of Jenny Han and Samira Ahmed. Palestinian-Canadian Author.
Ida in the Middle by Nora Lester Murad: Every time violence erupts in the Middle East, Ida knows what's coming next. Some of her classmates treat her like it's all her fault--just for being Palestinian!... One day, dreading a final class project, Ida hunts for food. She discovers a jar of olives that came from a beloved aunt in her family's village near Jerusalem. Ida eats one and finds herself there--as if her parents had never left.
Ronit & Jamil by Pamela L. Laskin: Pamela L. Laskin's beautiful and lyrical novel in verse delivers a fresh and captivating retelling of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet that transports the star-crossed lovers to the modern-day Israel-Palestine conflict. Ronit, an Israeli girl, lives on one side of the fence. Jamil, a Palestinian boy, lives on the other side. Only miles apart but separated by generations of conflict--much more than just the concrete blockade between them.
Adult Fiction and Nonfiction
Why Did You Leave the Horse Alone? by Maḥmūd Darwīsh: Palestine's most internationally famed poet of all, Mahmoud Darwish
The Palestinian Table by Reem Kassis: Authentic modern Middle Eastern home cooking - 150 delicious, easy-to-follow recipes inspired by three generations of family tradition.
Her First Palestinian And Other Stories by Saeed Teebi: Saeed Teebi's intense, engrossing stories plunge into the lives of characters grappling with their experiences as Palestinian immigrants to Canada. These taut and compelling stories engage the immigrant experience and reflect the Palestinian diaspora with grace and insight.
Once Upon A Country A Palestinian Life by Sari Nusseibeh: A prominent Palestinian's searching, anguished, deeply affecting autobiography, in which his life story comes to be the story of the recent history of his country.
Zaitoun Recipes From the Palestinian Kitchen by Yasmin Khan: Oil from the olive -- which is known in Arabic as zaitoun -- flows in abundance in the kitchens of Palestine.
Notes on the Occupation Palestinian Lives by Éric Hazan: Almost 40 years after the Israeli military occupation of Palestine, scenes from the West Bank remain rare and fragmented. Despite its prominence in the world news, suprisingly little is known about daily life in this troubled land. Here is a rare portrait of a population living with the reality of war and the dream of peace. (Published 2007).
A White Lie by Madeeha Hafez Albatta: The Women's Voices from Gaza series honours women's unique and underrepresented perspectives on the social, material, and political realities of Palestinian life. In A White Lie, the first volume in this series, Madeeha Hafez Albatta chronicles her life. Among her remarkable achievements was establishing some of the first schools for refugee children in Gaza. Her story will benefit Middle East scholars, social justice and human rights advocates, and all who want to know more about the modern history of Palestine.
Love Is An Ex-country by Randa Jarrar: Queer. Muslim. Arab American. A proudly Fat woman. Randa Jarrar is all of these things. In this provocative memoir of a cross-country road trip, she explores how to claim joy in an unraveling and hostile America.
The Words of My Father Love and Pain in Palestine by Yousef Khalil Bashir: A Palestinian-American activist recalls his adolescence in Gaza during the Second Intifada, and how he made a strong commitment to peace in the face of devastating brutality in this moving, candid, and transformative memoir that reminds us of the importance of looking beyond prejudice, anger, and fear.
Places of Mind; A Life of Edward Said by Timothy Brennan: The first comprehensive biography of the most influential, controversial, and celebrated Palestinian intellectual of the twentieth century.
We Are Not Here to Be Bystanders; A Memoir of Love and Resistance by Linda Sarsour: Women's March co-organizer Linda Sarsour shares how growing up Palestinian Muslim American, feminist, and empowered moved her to become a globally recognized and celebrated activist on behalf of marginalized communities across the country.
Salt Houses by Hala Alyan: From a dazzling new literary voice, a debut novel about a Palestinian family caught between present and past, between displacement and home...On the eve of her daughter Alia's wedding, Salma reads the girl's future in a cup of coffee dregs. She sees an unsettled life for Alia and her children; she also sees travel, and luck. While she chooses to keep her predictions to herself that day, they will all soon come to pass when the family is up rooted in the wake of the Six-Day War of 1967.
Ishmael's Oranges by Claire Hajaj: It's April 1948, and war hangs over Jaffa. One minute seven-year-old Salim is dreaming of taking his first harvest from the family's orange tree; the next he is swept away into a life of exile and rage. Seeking a new beginning in swinging-Sixties London, Salim finds an unexpected love with Jude, a troubled Jewish girl struggling with her own devastating family legacy. The bond between them flourishes in the freedom of the age, bringing the promise of thrilling new worlds. But before long, childhood conflicts and prejudices reawaken to infringe upon their life together, pulling them and their children inexorably back towards the Middle East and its battlegrounds.
I Shall Not Hate; A Gaza Doctor's Journey: by Izzeldin Abuelaish Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish - now known simply as "the Gaza doctor" captured hearts and headlines around the world in the aftermath of horrific tragedy: on January 16, 2009, Israeli shells hit his home in the Gaza Strip, killing three of his daughters and a niece. By turns inspiring and heartbreaking, hopeful and horrifying, this is Abuelaish's account of a Gazan life in all its struggle and pain. A Palestinian doctor who was born and raised in the Jabalia refugee camp in the Gaza.
Mornings in Jenin by Susan Abulhawa: A heart-wrenching, powerfully written novel that does for Palestine what The Kite Runner did for Afghanistan. Mornings in Jenin is a multi-generational story about a Palestinian family.
Falastin; A Cookbook by Sami Tamimi: Falastin is a soulful tour of Palestinian cookery today from Ottolenghi's Executive Chef Sami Tamimi, with 120 highly cookable recipes contextualized by his personal narrative of the Palestine he grew up in.
The Parisian, Or, Al-Barisi by Isabella Hammad: A masterful debut novel by Plimpton Prize winner Isabella Hammad, The Parisian illuminates a pivotal period of Palestinian history through the journey and romances of one young man, from his studies in France during World War I to his return to Palestine at the dawn of its battle for independence.
Graphic Novels
Power Born of Dreams My Story Is Palestine by Mohammad Sabaaneh: Translating headlines into authentic lived experiences, these stories come to life in the striking linocut artwork of Mohammad Sabaaneh, helping us to see Palestinians not as political symbols, but as people.
A Child in Palestine; The Cartoons of Naji Al-Ali by Naji Al-Ali: For the first time in book form, A Child in Palestine presents the work of Naji al-Ali. Through his most celebrated creation, the witness-child Handala (Hanthala), al-Ali chronicles the Israeli occupation, the corruption of the regimes in the region, and the plight of the Palestinian people.
Baddawi by Leila Abdelrazaq: Ahmed was raised in the refugee camp of Baddawi in northern Lebanon, one of many thousands of children born to Palestinians who fled (or were expelled from) their homeland during the 1948 war that established the state of Israel. Ahmad's dogged pursuit of education and opportunity echoes the journey of the Palestinian people, as they make the best of their existing circumstances while remaining determined to one day return to their homeland.
The Hookah Girl and Other True Stories by Marguerite Dabaie: In this current political climate, being a Palestinian is a hazard. However, there are common grounds where East meets West. The Hookah Girl is a semi-autobiographical graphic novel of a childhood as a Christian Palestinian in America.

A trail of bodies, or a trail of witnesses—that was the choice they were faced with. Neither option was ideal, but at least corpses couldn't give statements. Victor's solution was logical, but Sydney wasn't having it. "If you kill all the EOS you meet," she said, "how are you better than Eli?" Victor's teeth clenched. "I take no pleasure in this, Sydney, but if EON finds them, they'll be one step closer to finding us. Do you want that to happen?" "No, but—" "Do you know what they'll do? First they'll kill Dol, and then they will take you, and me, and Mitch, and we will never see the light of day, let alone each other, ever again." Sydney's eyes widened, but Victor went on. "If you're lucky, they'll lock you in a cage. Alone. If you're not, they'll turn you into a science experiment—" "Victor," warned Mitch, but he only stepped closer. Sydney stared up at him, fists clenched. He knelt so they were eye to eye. "You think I'm acting like Eli? You think I'm playing God? Fine, you play, Sydney. You decide, right now, who should live. Us, or them." Tears hovered on her lashes. She didn't look at him, kept her gaze focused on his shirtfront as her lips moved, short and soundless. "What was that?" he asked. This time, he heard it. "Us."
just this little scene feels representative of the entire duology

nsfw‼️ minors DNI‼️not proofread‼️
enjoy sluts😛💕
PT.1
boyfriend mike who is constantly overthinking about his relationship with you, feeling like he isn't enough and thinking that maybe you would be better off with someone who has the ideal "perfect life".
"Do you love me y/n?" Mike asks while his head lays on your lap. He avoids making eye contact looking down at the gold heart necklace he got you for your birthday.
"Of course I love you Mike. Are you okay?" you ask running your hands through his hair making his eye flutter at the feeling.
"I just wanna be perfect for you, you deserve a perfect lover." Mike says while looking into your e/c eyes. He watches as a frown forms on your face.
"You are perfect for me Mikey. I don't want anyone else but you." You say and bend down to meet his lips. Mike kisses back, bringing his hand up to touch your cheek.
boyfriend mike who has a very obvious obsession with you and everything you do. mike will take it as far as stealing a pair of your panties and jerking off with them while on break at work.
"A-ah fuck." Mike moans out throwing his head back against his chair. He looks down at his cock seeing little beads of pre-cum drip from his head as he uses your panties to rub up and down his shaft.
His hips jerk at the close feeling of his high coming. Mike bites his lip to quiet his moans not wanting to be caught.
"Ohhh fuck, i-i i'm cumming shit!" He grunts out his head rolling back and his eyes fluttering shut. He shoots out his load all over your pink lacy panties.
boyfriend mike who can tell what flavor lipgloss/chapstick your wearing when he kisses you because he knows you love certain flavor of lipgloss/chapstick.
Mike leans further into the kiss letting his tongue lick along your bottom lip. He pulls away licking his lips. "Cherry Cola." Mike says and you look at him with a confused look.
"Cherry Cola?" You ask sitting up on your elbows. Mike nods his head as he sits up straight straddling your waist on his bed.
"Your lipgloss it's Cherry Cola flavored." Mike says and you scrunch your eyebrows before letting out a laugh.
"You can tell the flavor of my lipglosses?" You ask and Mike nods again. You just stare at him finding that kinda odd but cute since it's Mike.
boyfriend mike who likes to watch you sleep because it makes him feel warm on the inside. he watches as your chest as it rises and falls, listening to your soft snores and the way you snuggle up with his pillow.
Mike walks closer to the bed kicking off his shoes at the end and taking off his vest laying it across the gaming chair and gently laying next to you.
Mike moves your fallen curls from your face making you let out a faint moan and moving around a little. He pulls the pillow from your arms and pulls you close to him with his arm around your waist. He doesn't fall asleep for another hour instead he just watches you and admires your beautiful sleeping face.
boyfriend mike who wakes up horny asf and uses your hand to jerk him off while sleep low key hoping you wake up and fuck him dumb.
"Baby p-please wake up, i n-need you." Mike whispers into your ear while his hips jerk against your closed hand.
Mike let's out needy whimpers trying to get some friction down there. He takes his hand a slips it past his boxers that you wear as shorts wanting to feel your pussy.
Mike uses his middle finger and presses down on you clit making you clench your legs close. He lets out a whine when you lock his hand between your legs making it hard for him to move his fingers.
Your eyes flutter open blinking a couple times to blink away the blurriness from your eyes. You let out a little groan and then look down seeing Mike's hand trapped between your legs. You look back up at Mike seeing him panting like a dog who hasn't drank any water for weeks.
You lift your leg letting Mike pull his hand out. "Baby what's wrong? Are you feeling okay?" Not questioning why his hand was between your legs knowing that's something that Mike always does.
Mike looks up from your chest with his big brown puppy eyes and his bottom lip quivering.
"I-I'm really ho-horny, please help me." Mike says in a low voice. You take your hand and move his hair from his forehead and running your hand down his check.
"Yes baby, mommy will help you baby." You say before cupping his cock through his joggers making Mike jerk his hips into your hand and let out a loud moan throwing his face into your neck.

Thank you to Sammie for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review
✩⚔️🪨Review:
Clare’s departure from the Shadowhunter world is sure to make its mark in the adult fantasy genre.
“Sword Catcher” follows Kel, an orphan turned Sword Catcher (the body double of the Prince of Castellane) and Lin Caster, a physician and one of the Ashkar possessing magical abilities. After a failed assassination attempt brings the two outcasts together—they are drawn into the web of the mysterious Ragpicker King, the criminal ruler of Castellane’s underworld—and find themselves at the center of world-altering change.
The element of romance takes a backseat to Clare’s immersive world-building. She provides the reader with detailed descriptions surrounding the region of Castellane—the walled city of the Ashkar, the Ragpicker King’s Black Mansion, Marivent from which the royal family rules, and the mountains and ocean bordering the kingdom—as well as neighboring regions she makes distinctive from one another. Additionally, she goes into depth about the role of the charter families of Castellane in relation to the monarchy, the beliefs of the Ashkar, the kingdom’s rich history and politics, and the diverse cultures making up the diverse populace. I especially like how she used excerpts from ancient texts at the beginning of each chapter as a means of foreshadowing and filling in any gaps in understanding. While I must admit that I was overwhelmed at times, I am more so impressed by how elaborate and intricate Clare’s world is.
Of the two points-of-view the story alternates between, I really enjoyed Lin’s perspective the most. Because she is one of the Ashkar, she gives the reader great insight on Clare’s magic system, which is fascinating in and of itself. I found myself rooting for her in her aims because of her selfless nature, fierce determination, and inner strength. Kel, on the other hand, was less compelling to me as a character. While his role as a Sword Catcher is certainly intriguing, I was more interested in the narratives of side characters like the Ragpicker King and brooding Prince Conor.
The ending, however, more than makes up for my criticisms. In true Cassandra Clare fashion, my jaw was on the floor and I have been left to suffer until book two comes out.
