*Sadistic Sam had made it to his hidden cave and arrived on time to start this personal meeting properly with "everyone" else...*

Sadistic Sam, with the titan's blood glyph all set: Let's get this next part over with...*He had then cutted the palm of his right hand and poured the spilt blood on the unique glyph...Allowing him to communicate with his other alternate selves from other worlds*

Sadistic Sam, after noticing that Adventureverse! Sam had arrived with his own assimilated absolute solver: So....How did it go~?

(Qrow would notice Raven…as would everyone else. Scarmiglione would overhear how Raven, for all of her “Survival of the fittest” talk, was ultimately a bit of a coward soon enough…and he’s have something to say about it. Course, Glitchy Mario and Peppino would be the ones Raven yelled at, only for the two to actually scare her despite the attempt to hide the fact (Peppino by smashing the demon that threw him, Glitchy Mario by being a living pin cushion, pulling a sword out to fight with))

Raven: You wish to die like vermin, so be it! I shall be your exterminator...

Glitchy Mario: Ooh~ Very scary! *Much to Raven's frustration, the two were giving her more trouble than expected even when she attempted to use her portals to cheat...Especially since both seemingly were unkillable*

MAYBE Ghost Game episode predictions for the next episode

Okay so I can’t remember if I’ve ever actually posted about this or not (I certainly couldn’t find any old posts about this) so I wanted to get this out of my system now real quick JUST IN CASE

Adventure never really went into this but sometimes I wondered if you could get “infected” with like, Digimon vampirism if you got bit by a vampire Digimon.

Like “”"classic vampire mythology””” says that if you get bit by a vampire, you turn into one too (sometimes), and like. I can’t help but to wonder if that’s something that applies to Digimon vampires, not just Vamdemon but the other ones as well (Dracumon, GranDracumon, Matadrmon, Sangloupmon, etc)

And if Digimon vampires could infect others with vampirism, how would that work?

Would a non-vampire Digimon become A) “Rabid” (so, stay the same Digimon but bloodthirsty) B) Evolve into a vampiric Digimon C) Or would nothing just happen?

And what would happen with humans? Like if a human could be infected with vampirism from a Digimon, would it: A) Turn them into a human vampire B) Turn them into a Digimon (like, maybe getting bit once wouldn’t be enough to turn you into a vampire Digimon, but it could turn you into a non-human???) C) Very specifically turn them into a vampire Digimon?

Like obviously Adventure/02 never went into this so as far as Adventureverse goes, you can’t be infected with vampirism from Digimon, and since we’ve only seen any vampire Digimon in Adventure and Xros Wars, it’s not like a concept they’ve ever even considdered

BUT NOW WE HAVE GHOST GAME

AND VAMDEMON’S SHOWING UP IN THE NEXT EPISODE (HOLY SHIT)

And y’all saw the last few episodes. Morphomon infecting other Digimon with a bug, Ajatarmon trying to turn humans into Digimon.

If there ever was a series that could possibly explore vampire Digimon like this, Ghost Game is it. This is the fucking series that could do it.

And I just. I needed to get this out of my system before the episode drops

Random thing involving Goldie, the rubies, and the Gem Insurgency, are you planning on having them end up (to some degree) showing up in other verses or are they remaining exclusive to the Adventureverse and Cosmicverse?

Also, while we have them in mind, what do you imagine their reaction to some of the utterly OP characters exclusive to the Cosmicverse would be, like seeing Kirby wipe out a massive army with a regular yo-yo (well, as regular as one of his copy abilities could be)

Goldie and the others will probably just be Adventureverse/Cosmicverse exclusive and they'd all be incredibly shocked by how a literal puffball is capable of doing all of that

Put simply, Ifrit(?) charged at Sol-Pyrotek, going surprising distance to a Crystal Horde Base…and exploded first. It was like a fiery nuke without radiation in effect, visible for a long stance and a surge of heat washing over everyone for a moment…before Ifrit(?) landed nearby after some sort of leap.

Azem: …Well then…that happened.

*It wasn't so much of a "base" but more of spawner for naturally born Crystallized Ones to be created which was still good to destroy either way*

Jackrow, exhausted from having battled thousands of Grimm and Crystallized Ones: From what I've gathered from Azem, you're a friend of theirs? And I've also gathered that "This" is not your usual form either. So who are you really? *He sat down and began patching himself up to deal with the burns*

(Meanwhile with Cosmic Sam)

*In any other case, clutching one's fist with that much force would surely cause it to bleed but "He" was made of much more tougher stuff...But...It still did concern those near him when the Sadist Crystals that grew by him became a almost jet black color...But suddenly! A voice made itself known*

Cinder, as she steeled herself in the presence of a God: Lord...Cosmic Sam. I beg of you to allow me to join your ranks and I will prove to you that "I" am worthy of becoming another Vessel-! (Cosmic Sam: It doesn't work like that.) Pardon?...

Cosmic Sam: Becoming a Sadistic Vessel does not work like that. If I were to give a singular person such as yourself the amount of power required to become one, your pitiful body would not handle it and you'd die an agonizing death. (Cinder: But what about Athena?) She is a very interesting case because her race can create beings similar to the ones you just saw earlier now...And before you say that "our goals line-up with one another"...*He had then back handed her into a nearby boulder with her Aura barely intact* We both desire power but "That" is where our similarities end.

Cinder, trying and failing to hide her fear: W-What do you mean-Ghrk!! *He grabbed her by the neck and choke slammed her to the ground*

Cosmic Sam: You do "not" have the true drive to truly be one of us. You have not once taken power for yourself only and accepted power from your fallen mistress like a dog would accept a bone from their owner. I had pillaged ancient ruins for powerful artifacts, stolen anomalous tech from facilities, and even killed others for specific parts that would improve me in ways you couldn't even dream of!!

Cinder, knowing what's in store for her: If that's the case...Before you kill me, I have a question...Do you believe in destiny?...

*The God of Corruption was silent for what seemed like hours...Only for what sounded like snickering came beneath his mask, then laughter, then to full on cackling...This absolutely unnerved practically almost everyone else*

Cosmic Sam, as he grabbed Cinder by the neck again: I "KILLED" destiny with my own hands! I tore out the destined hero's beast's heart and merged it with myself to become what I am now!! And you have the gall to assume "I" believe in such a pathetic concept!?

*He had thus drained her of "All" of her power and threw her to the ground with zero remorse*

Cosmic Sam: "Never" show your face to me again...I have much more important business to attend to with a person who's actually worth my time. *He had then opened a portal and turned to the others* Let us head back before I have to see this whelp any longer...

Epilogue Challenge: Family

Here’s some assorted headcanons about the families of the Chosen Children. Spouses, grandparents, in-laws, what have you!

Taichi’s wife is the Adventureverse’s variation of Saiba Rei from Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01. They met by chance when Rei was working with one of Taichi’s college friends, and Taichi stopped by their office to pick up his friend for a night out. He ended up inviting Rei too, and they hit it off quickly. Rei’s brother, Neo, did not like Taichi at all at first, but in time came to truly respect his brother-in-law. Since Rei is paraplegic, her pregnancy with Takao had to be carefully planned and closely monitored, and thankfully it went without a hitch.

Yamato’s parents and Sora’s parents get along absurdly well. Haruhiko and Natsuko befriended each other when they became advocating for Digimon for the Chosen Children, and they both coordinated a lot with Hiroaki for television appearances... and Toshiko just naturally got pulled in once all three were getting along so well. By the time of the epilogue, the four have become such good friends they’ve even gone on a lovely trip abroad together (Hiroaki had to be hassled for months to agree to come but he had a blast). They also have an annual competition: who will buy the best birthday present for the grandkids. (Haruhiko and Toshiko always end up buying presents for Takeru’s son too, though this isn’t part of the competition, just them appreciating their daughter’s brother-in-law). Sora thinks it’s fantastic, Yamato thinks it’s unnatural and is a bit disturbed by the whole thing but doesn’t spoil their fun.

Koushirou’s wife is a fellow Digimon researcher. She is as intelligent and creative as she is timid, and though she developed feelings for Koushirou very quickly after joining his research team, she was far too shy to act on it. Good thing Miyako noticed, hit Koushirou with a clue-by-four, and set them on a date.

Jyou’s wife is his high school girlfriend, who is Bike Girl. This is non-negotiable. Her name is Yuriko, she’s a great pediatrician, she’s a wonderful mother to Shouichi, she’s a fantastic partner to Jyou, Gomamon adores her, she’s just great. We are blessed with the sheer existence of Bike Girl.

Mimi is very active on social media, but she never posts photos of Kevin’s face. Seeing as Kevin’s parents and paternal grandfather are all celebrities (Michael becomes a famous film producer), he is already a prime target for paparazzi, and she figured he doesn’t need her to embarrass him further. Of course, he is her beloved son, so she still gushes about him every chance she gets! She does post the occasional photo of him from the back or with his face covered by a cute sticker, with his permission. Grandpa Barton, however, posts a new uncensored photo of him on social media every birthday, though Kevin is alright with that since Grandpa Barton only posts the best photos.

Daisuke’s wife is Japanese-American, and he met her while he was conducting a ramen scouting trip in Okinawa and she was visiting her grandparents. It was pretty much love at first sight for both of them. She was the one who pitched the idea of him opening his ramen business in New York City, where she is from.

Tomoyo practically reveres her great-grandfather. Iori’s family goes home to visit every other weekend, and Tomoyo always takes the time to tell Chikara about her life and ask for advice. Chikara may be getting on in years, but is still as sharp as a tack, and she appreciates his guidance as much as her father did. Every once in a while, Chikara joins her and her father in kendo practice, and those are some of the happiest times of her life.

The annual Inoue family gatherings are always held in an open space. There are just too many grandparents, siblings, spouses and cousins for an enclosed space! Mr. and Mrs. Ichijouji are always in attendance, and Mantarou, Momoe and Chizuru’s children treat them as another set of beloved grandparents.

Yeah, this is a fair issue; Wizardmon would probably freak out if he had to eat someone. HOWEVER, doing some research, I discovered that normally our resident dracula eats data from his victims or the dead, as blood isn’t really a thing in the digiworld usually besides the occasional aesthetic, and looking even further I found out the Myotismon in Digimon World (which roughly has the same configuration and laws about what digimon can and cannot do as the Adventureverse) actually eats normal meat. Specifically, that one eats a steak, because vampire jokes. Moreover, vampires specifically feed on vitality, which usually is blood and often means flesh (or fetuses and entrails if it’s a certain vampire in the philipenes), but can mean psychic energy or emotions. In that case, technically speaking being a partnered digimon he already is an emotional vampire, albeit benignly, which probably would cancel any horror hunger out. This all being said it’s very unlikely he would ever let himself be in his Ultimate form long enough to get hungry, for understandable trauma-related skin crawling reasons, so it would probably never come up in-series. As for your other comment

That is cool as hell, but since in this case his digivolution is triggered rather than something he comes to naturally it does have to be on-screen, and being Adventure the priority is Jokes. This being said, imagine if you will a digiolution scene glitching, stuttering, and reversing as a digimon forces themselves not to change. Wouldn’t that be neat?

I sometimes wonder what would happen if the protagonists from one series were in the world of another one. Like the Tamers kids growing in terms of their relationships to their Crests in the Adventureverse or the 02 kids Spirit Evolving in the world of Frontier.

I like the idea of places in Digital World being named after places from Norse mythology bc of Yggdrasil’s influence… after all, the Digiworld is a projection of our own

I have some mixed feelings about that... Mainly just that I feel like it’d be very cliché to use Norse mythology for naming, at least excessively. Midgard does sound cool and fitting, but at the same time I’d prefer something with a more of a Digimon-twist to it (”Digigard” isn’t a good example because it doesn’t sound nearly as nice but you get what I mean).

There’s also the fact that some places in the Digital World already have names of their own, like the Dark Area; would it have to be renamed Hellheim to fit with the other names?

And then there’s the fact that Yggdrasil isn’t universal to all Digital Worlds; Yggdrasil is the host computer and God of the Digital World(s) it rules over (vanilla and NEW (the new DW where Digimon get relocated to in X-Antibody stories)), but there are other Digital Worlds that aren’t ruled by Yggdrasil

Adventure’s DW (post-tri.) is ruled by Homeostasis for example, and then there’s Iliad, another Digital World (home of the Olympos XII) and it’s host computer is Homeros, not Yggdrasil. And indeed, we have plenty of Digital Worlds where it hasn’t been explicitly stated who or what the host computer is.

So like, Norse terminology could definitely work with Digital Worlds where Yggdrasil is a big thing, but treating it as the new default could have questionable consequences and straight up couldn’t be applied to DWs like Iliad
