One theory I have personally is that Entrapda snakes some of her hair down under her clothes to create a “harness” that helps to hold her up.

This relieves a lot of the weight on her own body, and because it’s her own hair she can shift things around automatically as necessary.

Granted, this isn’t supported in canon, as seen by the above image where her bare neck is clearly visible.

But a useful fan theory.

On the other hand, Entrapta’s not without precedent……

Don’t watch if the idea of a circus performer doing aerial tricks while suspended by her hair makes you cringe…..

(As for hauling Hordak around, the vent gremlin is just stronk. 😊)

Entrapta can lift herself by her hair… Entrapta can LIFT HERSELF BY HER HAIR…

Can you imagine how much muscle and power she needs to do that? By the way she’s shown to not only hold herself by it but also to tuck her legs in(up?) while doing it, and let me tell you it’s not easy thing to do, and she does it for long periods of time, so doing things like this:

Take a lot of physical strength. If you look closely you can see that Hordak is not holding her in a way that would let her lift her legs like that by leaning on him, so she does that entirely on her own!

And also this moment from “Huntara”

Entrapta slammed him to that cloning tank and held him there. In my mind the kind of character that would physically be able to do something like that to Hordak is someone like Huntara, Scorpia or She-Ra because they are closer in hight and physique to him, but Entrapta does that effortlessly without even using her hair, yes, sure, the fact that he’s not resisting also there but a closet(a big heavy full with boots closet with wheels) won’t resist either yet it takes most people a second pair of hands to move it.

So my question is, how strong physically Entrapta actually is? And why? Does she work out?

Circus Salvation

Welcome to my circus blog!! During the last couple years I have become truly enamored with the circus. I began researching the history of the circus and the various performing art forms that are known as circus arts— juggling, wire walking, clowning, tumbling, and animal training. I like to read everything that I can about where these forms originated, and their evolving history within the circus. My intention with this blog is to teach and spread these histories and forms to more young people, especially those groups who are marginalized and found a home in the circus in the past.

Personally, I have been teaching myself the basics of some of these disciplines and exploring their relationships with other performing art forms. The histories of touring musicians, dance companies, theatre companies, minstrel shows, and drag shows have all been touched by the influence of the circus. It is my view that reviving the circus and its place in popular culture can elevate performing arts, and even provide a path out of the soulless, exploitative, consumerist frame that has come to define modern media.

My DMs are always open to fellow circus freaks, performers, or particularly enthusiastic circophiles.

my performance got some audible gasps and screams, which is always fun, and also a profession of love and begging for a date afterwards 😅
