idc anout the music itself but kpop should have been the next masculinity movement. it has a body ideal thats achieveable and that girls are clearly into. putting that much time and energy into dancing could serve with a little sense of purpose and the dedication it requires is attractive. it would also mean a fun hobby that *can* possibly get you laid but it doesnt neceserally have to since you enjoy doing it anyways, meaning you would come across less desperate, which is also attractive. obviously theres the reality of corporatism and tiktok thirst traps etc and also that a lot of things are not okay with kpop to begin with but lets use this as a chance to subvert both of those... it could theoretically be a lighthearted largely offline fun thing. like doesnt that sound more chad to you than anything jordan 'wash your balls' peterson has to say or sharing memes about only not wanting to kill yourself when youre in the gym
