Depends on your goals. For hypertrophy I do a 4 day split: upper push day, upper pull day. Lower hip extension movements , lower hip hinge movements. 3-4 exercises per each day. 3 sets each. Last set to failure.

You basically want to get 10 sets per muscle a week for growth. And each week you will be adding more weight.

Use muscle wiki. For a really long time I did body weight or little weight just to learn correct form. It takes some time. And you should be thinking abt whether the movement you are doing is truly contracting the thing you want to contract. Like for the longest time, for RDLs I didn't know what ppl meant by squeeze the glutes. And one day it clicked for me that there are two ways you can come up from the bend over position. By using your back. Or by squeezing your glute. Squeezing your glute will move your hip up which brings you back upright

So at the beginning don't use bars. I still don't use any bars. I do RDLs will dumbbells still. Start with very light weights even if you can go heavier because the form is more important than anything

You can also join martial arts or rock climbing if you can afford it because it's more fun than working out imo and it's more social. There might be programs at your local community centre that are afforadable. You will get a good workout etc but eventually you will hit the limit with your body and then you will need to do physical training outside of martial arts to become better. So then that will inspire you to target specific muscles and it's just more fun this type of trajectory imo

I already answered this but I’ll answer it again 🥰!

Currently I have a large collection of keychains that I used to buy many years ago (they’re a mixture of Tokyo Ghoul and Harry Potter 😅), and at one time I was trying to collect pocket watches (i currently only have 3 tho), and currently I collect Kpop albums and photocards but…that’s an expensive hobby that I can’t really afforad to do anymore 😅!

So I currently don’t collect anything, but I do have collections of things if that makes sense 😁!

Her silliness. She never fails to make me laugh even on a bad day, sometimes all she has to do is make a silly face at me and I start laughing. So that’s probably what I love most about her is her silliness!

So I *love* the Gothic art style! I just love the buildings and how the books looked (such as “The Hours of Jeanne d’Evreux, Queen of France, circa 1324”). I don’t know why I’ve always been drawn to it, but it’s one of my favorites! I also like the Romanticism art style too (such as Mary Shelley) 🥰!

Oh…there’s a lot tbh 😅. Basically any Kdrama i’ve watched in the last year fits into this question ahwjwjjwh, i don’t really tell anyone that I watch them (both IRL and sometimes online) because, well, they aren’t everyones cup of tea and I guess I’ve just gotten used to people IRL telling me they don’t like it or that they suck or other worse things so I just don’t talk about anything that interests me unless it’s anime and video games 😅!

What art program/s do you use?

I use Clip Studio Paint! It's been my primary art program since the start of 2020. I used to use photoshop before hand specifically during college, but I made the switch cause of all the good stuff I've heard (and also it was actually afforadable.)

Even with all the recent stuff that CSP announced with their weird subscription stuff for update features, you can still buy it for keeps and what it offers nowadays is still EXTREMELY good, so I still highly recommend it.

So I literally just realized I STILL haven't done my gushing post on my newest commission.

An old-time friend from back what, one or two blogs ago, @leave-her-a-tome, drew me Mimi from my animal apocalypse novel. :]

She did a phenomenal job working with a description, as I didn't really have any specifics or any references she could use, and Mimi still turned out ADORABLE!!

The commission was very much afforadable and I received it within a few days, which was also very wonderful.

I am beyond thrilled to have another drawing from an old friend whose art I have always, always admired and have always wanted to buy commissions of but I guess I never brought it up because I didn't know she'd do it xD

I am, yeah. It’s very hard to find one that can handle the drawing software, design software, and also be affordable with enough storage space (because storing art and writing is important, so i can reference shit.)

I’m also crushed by my need to be able to run things like games, but like? thats not even a very large component. the big component if fucking afforadable storage space and memory to handle running medibang, google, and discord all at once without FUCKING DYING. Even my fucking desktop struggles to handle all three at once.

There are so many places to find resources and supplies for childinding and it’s always keeping things on the cheap but good quality and afforadable. 

always shop around and don’t buy when you first find something.

Local architects innovate for both high-end, afforadable housing markets

Since 2004, architects Yakuh Askew and Martine Paquin have collaborated to influence the Bay Area’s architectural landscape.

Askew, principal of Y.A. Studio, partners with Paquin, who helms an eponymous design firm focused on interiors, to develop both high-end residential design and affordable housing.

“We work across the spectrum,” said Askew, who focuses on multi-family structures and new buildings, while Paquin tends to Y.A. Studio’s custom single-family homes and interiors.

As for their style, both Askew and Paquin prefer not to label it.

“‘Modern’ can have people thinking of a design that’s cold, so we prefer not to put a label on it,” Paquin said. “There’s not one word to sum it up. We give a lot of attention to a space’s alignment, views, light and the quality of life it will create.”

The firm recently completed a pair of bespoke residences in Dolores Heights, 4024 and 4026 18th St. Available together for $4.49 million, the duplex’s individual units can also be purchased separately. Both feature oak flooring, oversized windows, enticing owner’s suites and high-end kitchens.

A San Francisco native who grew up in the Excelsior district, Askew earned his degree in architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Paquin, who was born in Montreal, Canada received a degree in fine arts before earning her master’s in architecture.

In this interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, Askew and Paquin talk about their design philosophy and how they apply aspects of high-end luxury design to affordable housing.
