In The Midst of Seclusion-

“The Wandering Mind”

Aahh its not an accolade.

Its rather a comeuppance.

Its rather days, filled with fear.

Its rather only anxiousness.

No peace.

No subtlety.

Only nothingness.

Only terror of the worst.

Only a mind filled with gloom.

When would our lives,

get back with the bloom?

I sat in the balcony,

Again.

A local vendor,

On a bicycle.

Everyday at the same time.

Trying to sell something.

Trying to get people’s attention.

Trying to earn his daily wage.

In the need of filling his stomach

and his family.

In the need of his living.

I saw dread in his eyes everyday.

I saw dejection.

Who would get their utensils repaired

in this life threatening world situation?

Who would even let a stranger stand in front

of their houses and let him repair their cooktops?

But that is his way of living.

But that makes him feed himself and his family.

But that keeps him alive.

What is he going to do now?

The thoughts kept running into my fidgety mind.

Well, the body can be rested.

But the mind is restless.

How to put it at rest, I dont know.

How to barricade the thoughts, I dont know.

The gloomy thoughts,

The melancholy.

I dont know.

Aahh its not an accolade,

Just a retribution.

My first love

It was a usual day,

Until I saw that figure

I was walking in that scorching heat

Looking for something.

And, It was a usual day,

Until I saw him.

It wasn’t love at first sight,

It wasn’t love at the first eyes meet,

It still wasn’t love at first talk

It was just a little spark.

I felt it,

Something was brewing,

Inside me, inside him.

I felt it.

Time passed,

I had forgotten about him,

Until one day,

He popped in my life,

This time, it was certain.

I felt it again,

Something was brewing,

Inside me, inside him.

I felt it,

But this time, more profoundly.

We played, we laughed,

I was crazy, he was crazy

We were falling,

Each day, each passing day,

In love, more in love.

It was a usual life,

Until, we both confessed,

Confessed our love.

It was a usual life,

Until, until I met him again.

A little spark of hope

“Nature never stops giving us signs, sometimes we understand them, sometimes we don’t!”

A few days back, I was sitting in my balcony, enjoying that one thing which uplifts my mood instantly, that one thing which brings smile on my face, the rain. The sky was filled with darkest of the clouds, with thunder and lightening, it was pouring happiness all around. The whole atmosphere was filled with the sweet fragrance of wet soil. I was having one of the best days of my life. I was enjoying, I was happy. There are these little things in this world and in our lives which makes us happy, we should always hold on to them.

Then after some time, slowly-slowly it stops raining, making the atmosphere really pleasant and blissful. Still, the darkest of the clouds were there. Then to my amazement, my eyes got stuck to this beautiful natural occurrence in the sky. Look at the picture. In that exact moment only these group of words came to my mind, “A little spark of hope”.

Nature is mysteriously amazing, it never stops giving us signs, but sometimes we understand them sometimes we don’t. Even during our darkest days, all we need is a little spark of hope. Which is already present around us, some or the other way, we just need willingness to see it. There is always something in our lives which gives us this hope. Never lose that hope.Never lose hope anyway. It is something which keeps us moving and alive to finally see the brightest of the Sun.

I was going through some of the rough times in my life, and then I see this. The Universe assuring me that, don’t lose hope, everything will be fine. I was literally amazed, by this response. The nature and universe telling me, “we got your back darling, don’t give up!”.

They always gives us signs, we just need to see them and actually have a will to see them. We need to be receiving. We need to be accepting the love and help of the nature and universe. Just after this sign, I was filled with hope and more joy and peace of mind. I knew, its coming. The good time is coming, the things and the way I want my life, is coming. I was filled with belief, hope and bliss. I literally saw “every dark cloud has a silver lining”. Time to time we need this hope, it could come from anything or anyone, be receptive.

All about life in a nutshell

“Some real life experiences, takes us to the path of enlightenment!”

There are days in our lives, where we think and feel, “what are we doing?”, “where are we going?”, “what do we want?”. We feel stuck. Stuck so much that we can’t even move an inch. I do, many times. Sometimes I feel, the moment I step ahead, something pulls me back. And then I lose hope. Then I lose faith. Faith in myself, faith in divine and faith in divine timing.

Sometimes, our body is at a place but our minds are wandering like a nomad. Then, we are being jolted by an action in the present. But do we really come back in present ? Or still keep wandering through a segment of our mind ?

We need certainty, certainty for our body and simultaneously mind. How do we get that ? How do we keep us stay in present rather than roaming around ? I say, by mastering the mind.

Well, I wouldn’t say I have completely mastered my mind and have fully control over it. But, I am trying, may be I am on half way to it. And we all know, the person who succeeds, is the person who tried!

What’s wrong in trying ? Not just in this area, but in all areas of our lives. There would only be two things if we try, either we will succeed or we will not, never a third option. And what if we don’t succeed, atleast we’ll learn something from it, and may be try again in future.

So, always give a try, to anything you want in life. And for happiness, peace of mind, why not! In every situation, in every circumstance, whatever happens or happening, NEVER GIVE UP!! Anything bad happening will pass. You know what, we all already know this, but still we don’t want to believe it. In 21st century, in this era, we want proves, for every damn thing. We don’t want to believe on anything without any proves, not even on ourselves. But, in the whole wide Universe, if you should believe on one thing atleast, believe in YOURSELF.

YOU can do anything. You can achieve anything. Just believe in yourself. Believe on your mind, your body, your soul, your vibes, your aura, your action, your everything. “You” are whole. You are complete. You are enough. You don’t need someone else to tell you or say confirm you, that you can do this or that or whatever. “You” can do anything in the whole world. Trust yourself. And moreover, LOVE YOURSELF.

Yes, love yourself, just the way you are. We all are different beings, and thats what makes us all special. We all are special , we all are beautiful, in our own unique way. Never let anyone’s negative comment or actions make you feel disheartened or less worth of yourself. You are worthy, and you know that.

You don’t have to change yourself to make someone love you. No, let them love you the way you are. The right person will eventually love you for the person you actually are. Also, before loving someone else, before falling in love with someone else, fall in love with yourself. Admire yourself. Treat yourself. Gift yourself. Compliment yourself. We pray for ourselves, but how many times do we wish ourselves a Happy new year or a Merry Christmas or a Happy Holi or a Happy Diwali or any other festivals or life events ?? I am sure a very few times. So start by yourself, by wishing a great year, a great life and so on. Value yourself first before valuing someone else. Love yourself first before loving someone else.

Coming back to “Mastering the mind”, I have understood, we all can achieve this, by only one thing i.e. POSITIVITY. In every situation, in every circumstance, be positive. I know saying is easy, but applying isn’t always so easy. Again I would say, try. When negative thoughts starts covering up your mind, it won’t only effect the mind, but also your body, soul and everything. How to avoid them or say defeat them? By being aware of your thoughts. Whenever these negative thoughts try taking their grasp over you, just switch them or replace them with happy thoughts or positive thoughts. One thing which helps me is scrolling to some of my happy pictures in my phone or instagram. It takes me to that moment and time and brings a smile on my face. If I have much time, after being aware of my thoughts, I watch a happy movie or series, specially happy ones. It diverts the mind. But, for different people it could be different things which could make them happy immediately, like music, painting etc. So, don’t let those negative thoughts overcome you, replace them immediately, be aware. By time, I believe we can and we will master our minds. Have Faith. Now here comes faith.

We all have heard this, “whatever happens, happens for the good”! If you go deep, deep into your life and take a good stroll through all your past life events, you’ll see after comparing your present that whatever happened actually happened for the best. Be it, bad or good, they all have hidden in them only good reasons. So never loose faith or hope. If nothing’s happening in your favour right now, have patience and hope and faith. Everything will start making sense at the right time. May be its preparing you for the best. Everything in our lives happens at the perfect divine timing. All is good. All is well. Have faith on yourself, have faith on the Divine. Also, don’t just sit back and wait, but take action. By taking action, you send out the vibes that you’re ready, for everything great, for your dreams, for the life you want. But take action.

Feeling stuck like I said above ? Then, put all your strength and move a step ahead atleast. Something is better than nothing. Even one – one tiny step can take you to your destination. Also, it sends out the vibes that you aren’t giving up and you are stubborn to go away from the grasp of the thing pulling you down. Next time you feel stuck or lost, just get up and try moving a step ahead in your life, in whatever area, on whatever path, am sure it’ll take you to the destination.

I have learnt this with time,

Love yourself unconditionally,

Embrace yourself,

Just the way you are.

Lets just be flawful,

Because flawless is just a myth,

Being flawful is original.

Lets just give ourselves,

our precious time.

Why need some other beings to love you,

when all you need is you, yourself and your true love for you.

Get up and look up into the mirror,

thats the most beautiful and wonderful person on this whole planet.

Love that Person.

I completely and wholeheartedly love myself.

The Christmas Eve!

Here it comes again.

The Christmas Eve.

As a child, all I wanted was, to be a christian.

I wished I was a Christian so that Santa would come to me too.

I waited, I waited every Christmas eve for Santa Claus to visit me and bring me gifts too.

And yes, that never happened!

So, I came to the conclusion that, may be because I am not a Christian thats why Santa never visits me!!

Disheartened, I went to my Daddy, telling him,” Daddy, I want to get converted into Christianity”!!

Daddy in amazement asked me,” Why? Why do you want to get converted into Christianity?”

I replied still my face low,” because Santa never visits me on Christmas eves! He never brings me gifts! Unlike other Christian kids!

“Tonight also, he is not gonna come I know!!” I said again wretchedly.

My daddy draped me with his arms, made me sit on his lap and said,” don’t ever loose hope my son and never doubt your faith! Santa Claus loves all the children all over the world, beyond any custom, beyond any religion and beyond any culture!!”

“And tonight, pray before you sleep and sleep with all the love and faith!”, said Daddy.

I did the same along with some Christmas eve rituals.

I woke up the next morning and ran to my father shouting,” Daddy....Daddy.. come fast, take a look”. “See..See Santa came last night..Yay Yay..finally he came Daddy”, I spoke while I was still jumping with excitement.

To my complete amazement and surprise, there actually were gifts not just one but plenty, wrapped beautifully. And finally, my socks wasn’t empty like many past years but full with chocolates and a small wrapped box.

“Merry Christmas my child! I told you, I told you Santa loves all the Children. And he comes to those who have absolute faith and belief on him”, said Daddy and smiled.

Less I knew as a child that, we all have a Santa Claus in our lives, some visible and some invisible. We just need to see from the purest of heart and eyes.

You provide light, even to the darkest path,

and teach us, the only enemy is our wrath.

You pour your blessings and make our lives glow!!
