Thinking about Epic the Musical. Thinking about how Odysseus’ fatal flaw is not in thinking that he's the smartest guy out there; it's thinking that he's the scariest guy out there. Your Luck Runs Out is right; he's not wrong necessarily in asking Aeolus for help, but in believing that he could game any immortal, stay awake for days, fend off his greedy crew, reveal his name with impunity. He believes he's the toughest thing around. But there are literal gods and monsters in this world and he is just a man. Poseidon, the personification of his struggle at sea, wipes out his fleet in seconds and all he can do is watch helplessly.

Thinking about how if Odysseus is to survive the journey, he can't be the good king of Ithaca or the clever warrior of Sparta. He has to become a monster of the sea. He may not be the scariest guy out there, but if he wants to get home, he's going have to become him fast

Or would the title be something superficially profound but deeply inscrutable? Like “The Unknown Hearts of Trees in the Snow” or “Ornaments of the Soul”?

Or maybe just “Kimmy Gibbler’s Orphange For Rejected Children (Christmas Trees Sold Also)”?

I’ve been thinking about this ask for a few days, and I’m furious that I can’t come up with anything funnier than A Family Fir Christmas. It’s perfect. Lori Laughlin adopts a bunch of kids from the combination orphanage/Christmas tree farm and then bribes an admissions officer at North Pole University on their behalf.

Honestly, I probably wouldn't have warned for Sasori doing things that are completely normal for his character anyway (as distinct from Sakura having a naked man force her to kill a goat, which is not something you'd see in canon, but which still falls under graphic violence warning to me—there's actually no specific tag about that scene either) but I do think that it's a little funny to see someone provide a warning for the archive warning that was already on this fic.

I had a weird argument with this person yesterday in the comments about this "untagged" and "unwarned" violence in my fic too. I'd be interested to know if it's a common assumption that the GDoV tag just doesn't apply to animals because they're special.
