Scaramouche: what is wrong with you (affectionate). give him a fucking scythe mihoyo you cowards.

Thoma: househusband <33 or is he malewife I can't remember. either way I adore him. literally how could you not.

Venti: canonically puntable. I like your funny words magic man.

Xiao: I'm going to make you happy if it kills me. I would live for you. I'm going to wrap you up in a blankie and then make you soup.

Xingqiu: you fascinate me. also mood on disliking carrots.

folks, let me take you on the little adventure I just had.

so Ghost’s US tour dates came out. the show in Providence, RI, at the Dunkin Donuts Center on September 12th, would be the closest to me. so I scroll down to check the presale tickets, right?

instead of being listed at the Dunkin Donuts Center, it simply says “Dunkin’, Centreville, VA”. ‘okay,’ I think. ‘maybe they just made a little mistake.’ I go to check the ticket site, and it says the same thing, this time with an address. it occurs to me to check said address (Dunkin’, 14631 Lee Hwy, Centreville, VA, 20121)

you know what that address is?

i see you saying Mina is a lesbian and is in love with Lucy and I GET IT. but you are missing the mark just a little. Mina is a POLY BISEXUAL ICON and is in love with Lucy AND Jonathan. when we get in a little later and see Mina and Jonathan actually interacting in person you will understand. they are head over heels for each other and it is so cute. 

Lucy is also poly and bisexual. she literally has a line in a few days that’s the most hasn’t-realized-she’s-poly shit ever. 

anyway hope y’all are having fun! I just finished reading Dracula and I can’t wait to read more of it with y’all!

i've been thinking. about jack "part of me that is not me" "this is going to be bad" "otherwise there will be no mercy" russell. and what he thinks of his werewolf self. because he doesn't harm elsa. he harms those who are an overt threat to him. just like ted does. and jack doesn't know or understand that about himself. that he doesn't harm people who respond to his werewolf self with caution and respect, posing no threat.

elsa puts away the bloodstone, approaches him with open hands, and then when he tackles her, having been attacked and harmed by a dozen people, simply responding out of fear and defense. she holds his gaze, doesn't even try to push him off, and reaches out to touch him, his face, gently.

"once," he said. and maybe that once, whoever it was, understood the same thing that elsa seemed to understand. that as long as you don't move to potentially hurt him? he won't harm you.

and i want jack to know that about himself, about his wolfed-out self. he deserves to know that he's not a mindless, ruthless, merciless monster like he thinks. he's just trying to protect himself.

jack russell you're a sweetheart who can do no wrong, full moon, new moon, waxing and waning.

Dia daoibh! I haven’t been active here lately, so here’s a small everyday vocab list I made while watching this vlog as Gaeilge. I recommend focloir.ie to check pronunciation.

Note on the verb labhair

Labhraíonn sí Gaeilge agus Béarla gach re seal - she speaks Irish and English alternately (she switches between two languages as she speaks at the moment)

but Tá Gaeilge ghlan aici - she speaks flawless Irish (she has excellent command of Irish, she’s proficient Irish speaker)

Bascially, if you want to say that someone has a good command of language, you use verb tá and a prepositional pronoun (I made a post abt this a while ago). Labhair is used to describe the act of speaking.

I have never regretted having aphantasia so much as I am as I listen to Worlds Beyond Number.

I'm still working on the Children's Adventures; of the Wizard, the Witch, and the Wild One, because I have to back up & re-listen to a lot (audio processing issues plus focus issues), but it's stories... and I'm having issues enough with those right now.

Damn, but I wish I could see this world they're building.
