💧what’s the worst pain your oc has ever been in? mental or physical? what was the cause of this? oh boy, where do i begin? lyra definitely has been through plenty of mental and physical pain, but i’ll do one of each since i’m feeling very angsty in this chili’s tonight. the worst mental pain was definitely caused by her father, janus. he is very manipulative, controlling, and extremely superficial. he has a quick temper, which he takes out on everyone in the family except for himself. there isn’t really an exact scene i have in mind for mental pain since it’s a process of it being built up for years, but the night samson and lyra left their home is definitely a big moment for both of them. i would say that’s the worst mental and physical pain for samson, actually. it’s a v rough night. physical pain for lyra,,, so this hasn’t been talked about on tumblr yet,,, but the night after lily and james’ death,,,, janus decides to pay lyra a visit and let’s just say that the night ends very bloody, sad, and a tragic parallel to what happens in the death hollows :)

🔷 has your oc ever had to leave something behind or abandon something they didn’t want to? have they ever had this happen to them? how has this effected them over the years? akysa,,, my angry bb,,, after order 66 disregarded her signature red lightsaber. it signified her time as a sith and the damage, pain, and suffering she’s caused while being manipulated by palpatine ever since he found her. i thought about her purifying her kyber crytals, but i decided against it because the crystals no longer belonged to her since she changed her allegiance and followed her own path as neither a sith or jedi. it took her a while to accept herself basically being “reborn” and the constant reminder of the hurt was getting in the way of the path she wanted to reach. so getting rid of them was a big part of the healing process and she’s definitely better off without them.

🔵 has your oc lived through any particularly traumatic events? does this event (or events) still effect them or have they tried to bury it? is there a reason why this event is so traumatic for them? my first thought was the john mulaney quote “now we don’t have time to unpack aLL OF THAT” but here i am doing so. my poor son samson goes through the ringer and he doesn’t deserve any of it. sadly, he has lived through one too many traumatic events so i’m just gonna name them. first, getting sorted into ravenclaw and bearing his father’s disappointment, torturing himself to become an animagus to please his father, literally had the cruciatus curse performed on him bY HIS OWN FATHER, the death of dorcas meadowes, witnessed the aftermath of what happened with lyra the night after halloween, and,,, we cannot forget,,, seeing lyra and remus’ dead bodies during the battle of hogwarts. it definitely effects him greatly, like poor guy cannot catch a fucking break. he is the last living member of his family and he never wanted to be, like jfc i really need to give him more happiness bc he suffers so much.

He looks at the files on his desk, pursing his lips as his eyes switch between the three uneven stacks.

He lowers his hands, hesitating for a second before he picks up the open file.

The door opens, and Anderson watches Minetta storm into the room.

'Come in,' he sighs, dropping the file on the smallest stack.

'Who the hell are you?' Minetta grunts.

'James Anderson. Your new deputy.'

'I didn't know I needed a new one,' Minetta snarks, crossing his arms.

'I was told two of them quit,' James comments. 'Actually, I was told a lot of people here quit.'

Minetta sighs as he sits down.

'Well, welcome, I guess,' he says.

'But I'd appreciate it if you first meet with me before you decide to take files to your office,' Minetta states.

'I wasn't in the mood to wait for three hours,' Anderson replies. 'And it turns out I really needed those three hours,' he adds, gesturing to the stacks on his desk.

'Dare I ask why?'

James rests his elbows on the desk, his hands intertwined.

'The Council isn't so happy,' he starts. 'They haven't been since sheriff Keller messed up the investigation of the Black Hood, and the mayor promised you'd be better. But then "Riot Night" happened. So, they sent me.'

As Paramore said: “you are the only exception” No I will not elaborate.

She was almost at the end of the corridor when she ran straight into her best friend, Bennett, because she was too distracted looking over her shoulder.

Bennett toppled over first, Maisie following right after her. Bennett had fallen onto her bum, with Maisie sprawled across her lap.

“Merlin, Maisie,” Bennett clutched Maisie’s head, keeping it from hitting the ground, “What on Earth are you doing?”

Maise scrambled up quickly, extending a hand to Bennett to help her up, “I stole a… love potion… from Alena Foster’s… supply,” Maisie said, in between deep breaths, “She sent Malfoy and his goons after me. I think I’ve lost them.”

“A love potion?” Bennett raised her eyebrows, “For who?”

Maisie just smirked, “Dunno yet. Maybe Annie? Get her to shut up about Wood for five minutes.”

Bennett gave Maisie a look, “You know she’d hex you to England and back.”

“Not if she was infatuated with me, she wouldn’t.” Maisie winked. Her eyes suddenly went wide as she looked over Bennett’s shoulder, and she pocketed the love potion immediately.

“What’s that in your pocket, Barker?” Fred Weasley asked as he sauntered up to them, George beside him.

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” Maisie teased, trying to play it cool.

“I do believe that’s why I asked, yes,” Fred crossed his arms over his chest, a cheeky grin spreading onto his face, “Give us a peek.”

Maisie didn’t notice George sneaking behind the girl, a finger on his lips so Bennett wouldn’t say anything.

Maisie had realized what George was doing too late, and he pickpocketed her with ease.

“Damn you, George Weasley,” Maisie stomped her foot as George dangled the small bottle in front of her.

“Is that a love potion I see?” Fred started to tease, “Who’s the unlucky lad? Or lady? You know I don’t judge.”

“Oh, shut up, you,” Maisie crossed her arms, turning her nose up at the twins, “It’s none of your business.”

“Awfully secretive, Barker…” Fred tutted, taking the bottle from his twin and looking it over, “Is this for me? Do you loooove me, Barker?”

Maisie felt herself blush from head to toe, but she let out a scoff, rolling her eyes, “You wish.”

Fred just stared at her, a smirk on his face.

“If you must know,” Maisie yanked the bottle from Fred’s hand before he could react, “Alena Foster annoyed me today, so I stole one of her best sellers, and that’s all, thank you.”

“Whatever you say, Barker,” Fred’s smirk was spreading wider by the second, “I know you want a piece of this,” He gestured at his entire body, chuckling and dodging as Maisie tried to punch his arm.

“Oh, I’m gonna get a piece of you, alright!” Maisie yelped and raced toward Fred, who took off in the opposite direction, cackling as Maisie chased after him.

George just snickered quietly, wrapping an arm around Bennett, “Maybe one day they’ll figure it out.”

“Those two?” Bennett giggled softly, “I suppose we’ll see.”

“We can only hope.”

I love Maisie, I love Maisie, I love Maisie. She’s so funky and fun and playful. She’s also so sweet and caring and charismatic. Go give her some love!!!

hi!! i think the part i’m most excited about is definitely order 66 bc it is such an interesting arc to explore! to see anakin’s downfall, the clones turning on the jedi, the sith rising from the shadows, all of it! it’s such a dark and angsty part of the story to share!

What's something you've wanted to share about Akysa Eros but haven't had the opportunity to?

ooo this is a good one!! one thing i haven’t shared yet is that i’m planning on having her story continue post rots and creating an entire storyline for her! it deals with the trauma of post-order 66, new characters, a found family trope, and facing challenges of akysa not being a jedi nor a sith! the details are still being figured out, but i’m getting there!

once again,,,, d*sney hates people of color so they’d whitewash her or not cast her correctly racially. maybe they’d make her latina and say “close enough” bc they think the bare minimum with characters of color is enough.

character development?? oh you mean erasing everything that defined her as a person??? yeah okay cool cool.

her “relationship” with anakin would be portrayed in a very unhealthy and toxic way. glorify the ENEMIES in the enemies to allies to potential lovers to enemies trope because they don’t know how to make a complicated and intricate dynamic that’s not shown as abusive.

definitely write off important details of the chosen ones traits just so they could kill her off in order 66 so they could add more motivation on why anakin falls to the dark side. since yannoe,,,, she lives to serve purpose to the white male lead.

would never get to explore the depth of her being conflicted. hell, they’d probably erase all that and just make her a villain since women can’t be complex.

OVER-SEXUALIZE SINCE SHE IS A WOMAN OF COLOR AND A VILLAIN!!!!

try to justify her actions as a sith and not make her feel immense guilt, regret, and anything other than angry. or simply make her emotionless bc yannoe,,, women with emotions aren’t “realistic”

😢 apologize to one oc you hurt this year. you know what you did. the biggest of apologizes to my poor son, samson thorne. i’m sorry for killing everyone you ever loved and making you the lone survivor. i’m sorry for making you endure so much pain and angst when all you deserve is so much happiness. out of all my ocs, i feel bad for him the most.

💇‍♀️ cut off the dead ends. if you could unwrite one of your ocs, who would you choose? just one? haha we’re doing multiple. amanda, i apologize in advance. first we have alivera zander. i created her when i knew very little about star wars, grew to hate majority of my ideas for her, and i couldn’t separate the fc from @moirei‘s mandalorian oc, eyrie ardes, whom i absolutely love and adore more than anything. so yeah, alivera no longer exists bc i said so. next we have my gotg ocs. there is no explanation for this other than i’m losing interest in them and marvel. that’s it. and, finally, dakota chambers. i love her dearly, but riverdale is dead to me, therefore, so is she. i’m not even sorry, whoops.

Otp asks 13-16 for my tragic otp Akysa and anakin

13.) who dies first? how does the other one react? well,,,,, technically,,,,,, they die at the same time. because their connected as the chosen ones and are created to balance their counterpart, one cannot survive without the other. so in rotj, they will both inevitably die.

14.) are there any love rivals? another technically,,,, yes. so as ive stated before, anakin and akysa are a “what could’ve been” type of otp. they do have a connection, but they’re not really love interests and anakin will still end up with padmé because we obviously need luke and leia to be born and i love padmé too much to write her off. but in au purposes, they’re having the time of their lives.

15.) describe your favorite moment of that ship! oh boy, i have so many. one of my all time favorites is the mortis arc. akysa is captured, bantering with literally everyone, op chosen one abilities, a starting for akysa’s turning point, etc. it’s a good arc for them to somewhat bond and slowly start to understand each other more. it’s a very long process, but they’ll get there at some point until anakin joins the dark side ofc.

16.) what do other characters think about this relationship? literally everyone is against them even interacting for the most of it. except palpatine/sidious, he secretly persuaded anakin to join forces with akysa and it sort of doesn’t work but he still won in the end. when akysa leaves sidious to figure herself out, eventually she’ll earn the trust of ahsoka, especially during the wrong jedi arc. obi-wan is sort of complicated, but if ahsoka and anakin trusted her, then he’ll be more inclined to as well.

idk if it’s an au in general or an au for one of my ocs??? but imma go with the latter bc @moirei and i have been talking about this a lil bit. so this au is for one of my sw ocs, akysa eros, and the clone wars version of anakin skywalker. basically, everything is the same except anakin doesn’t fall in love with padmé which means he doesn’t fall to the dark side. in that au, anakin and akysa meet in the middle with their different sides and the stars finally align with them. bc basically they were destined to be together bc they both wouldve brought balance to the force, but only together they could’ve accomplished that. but yeah, its cute and i like them in au land.

so are you planning on making a tcw fic? or are you doing the movie series fic? hopefully that makes sense

my oc, akysa eros, is primarily set in tcw era and will merge in with rots towards the end ( but depending on how s7 goes, it might just be entirely tcw ). so the answer is both, but more so on tcw bc it’s superior.

❤️: what’s the working title? the official title is young gods

🧡: what were previous working titles/ideas? as mentioned in the previous ask, there wasn’t any other title. i usually dont confirm a title bc i always want it to feel 100% right before i do so.

💛: what is the title based on? it is based on halsey’s song, young god, ofc. the lyrics really reminded me of anakin and akysa, how they’re the chosen ones, etc. it really spoke to me and i had to make it the title.

💚: how long have you been working on it? over winter break i believe? i haven’t started officially, but obviously i made edits and a short video for it so that counts i guess lol.

💙: how has the idea changed between starting it and where it is now? i added some non-canon force abilities to it which wasn’t my idea initially. since anakin and akysa are the chosen ones, i felt it was necessary for them to have some abilities regular jedi/sith don’t have.
