It was a stormy night, Leon would be staring absentmindedly ahead as he drove. Leon’s mind was elsewhere tonight, in other words, he was thinking about them. it's been awhile since he had seen Them. a sigh left his lips, mumbling under his breath "I'm coming home Y/n."

The rain had not let up all night, the sky was overcast and dark. It was raining harder than it did before, the heavy downpour that poured from above made everything around him feel darker and gloomier. He turned his gaze back to the road with one final sigh. A small frown tugged at the corners of his lips, his hand gripping the wheel tighter as his knuckles went white. The car felt so cold and lonely, With a quick turn of the steering wheel, Leon brought the car to a halt.

stepping out of his car, he sighed heavily as the rain soaked into his clothing. It seemed colder now. A shiver crept its way across his skin as the wind howled around him, making his hair blow about wildly. With one final sigh, Leon walked toward the house with quick steps, trying desperately to keep himself warm as he made his way inside. The door shut behind him with a heavy thud, Leon took off his shoes and coat, hanging them on the rack by the door.

he made his way to the living room until he stopped, his eyes widened and jaw dropped slightly. There she stood in the middle of the living room in their pajamas, he was transfixed by the sight although he was a bit saddened and concerned, "y/n..you're supposed to be asleep, it’s almost two o’clock in the morning-" Leon started to speak but he was immediately cut short "I missed you." y/n whispered softly, a faint smile appeared on their face as they watched him walk over to them. y/n could tell he was upset but was trying his best to hide it and to try and put on a good face. Leon looked exhausted, the bags under his eyes were prominent against his pale cheeks.

they could also tell he had a cold too from how he held his forehead, Leon sat himself down besides them on the couch "you're supposed to be sleeping, not wait for me." "I know but I wanted to see you, I want to hear your voice again." What they had said stung slightly, he had been gone for so long, Leon didn't say anything at first, just stared at them, his blue eyes softening a bit.

he didn't notice them getting closer, nor did he notice the tears streaming down his face. y/n reached out and touched him lightly on the cheek, his face softened even more as he closed his eyes and leaned into their touch. “I was worried about you…when you left, I waited and waited for you.. i didn't stop.." Y/n whispered, Leon opened his eyes and nodded lightly. They could have sworn they saw a tiny glint of something flash across his eyes before the pain filled his expression, y/n felt their heart break for him. they wrapped their arms around Leon tightly as his body trembled a bit in their embrace

Leon returned the gesture, leaning forward for another kiss. they pulled away and looked deep into each others eyes, sharing a look with their mutual understanding. They both understood what each other meant and why, both were content with the other’s presence beside them. Leon pressed his forehead to theirs, they both closed their eyes as they savored this brief moment of closeness. a few moments later Leon pulled away slightly to rest his head on their shoulder, closing his eyes once again. they intertwined their fingers together, letting themselves bask in the warmth of each other’s touch

it was comforting, reassuring, and safe. Leon’s grip tightened as he relaxed further into their hold. He couldn't deny how much he had missed them, no matter how hard he tried. Leon found himself pulling away slightly to gaze into y/n's eyes with a soft grin "let's go upstairs...you need rest." he suggested, Y/n looked at him, surprised but nodded nonetheless. "Okay," they replied, smiling back fondly as they rose from the couch.

As long as Y/n was there, Leon wouldn't feel alone. Leon would always be alright. They could make everything better.

HIHI! I know it's been a solid month but I wanted to send you a recipe worthy of you!

SO Here is my chosen recipe for you! Please let me know if you make/enjoy it!

Recipe for Beef Goulash

Ingredients

4 tbsp olive oil

700g beef, can be stewing steak or whatever you prefer

30g flour

1 onion, sliced thin

2 garlic cloves (or more. Follow your heart. Throw it in. Live your best life)

1-2 bell peppers. Follow your heart.

2 tbsp tomato puree

2 tbsp paprika (or more. please. this should be made with so much paprika it makes your heart sing. Just. Have fun with the paprika. Turn everything red)

75ml red wine.

300ml beef stock, either homemade or storebought

sprigs of parsley to serve

150ml soured cream

Method

heat 1 tbsp oil in your saucepan. sprinkle your chunks of beef with flour and brown them, adding more oil as needed. remove from pan.

add the rest of the oil to the pan along with the onions, garlic, peppers. Fry until soft

add the beef back in bby! throw in that tomato puree and the paprika to your hearts content! MIX.

LOOKING GOOOD LOOKING GOOD! Now add that stock and the wine. BEAUTIFUL.

Cover and let simmer for at least an hour, tho I personally would recommend leaving it on a low heat for as long as possible to let the beef get goooooood. usually i put this on in the morning for nighttime.

season to taste. Stir in cream.

Serve with rice and sprinkle with parsley. No really. It makes a HUGE difference. The parsley is essential

that cocktail sounds fantastic, i will take two, pls & thank you. whiskey (and scotch whisky particularly) is my preferred liquor most of the time, though gin does edge ahead a little bit in the summer when i enjoy a nice fizz with fresh fruit. that cocktail sounds perfectly up my alley! <3

ted lasso. i was very late to this one, but just binged all three seasons and really enjoyed it. on apple.

BEEF. it's sooooooo goood and bizarre and wonderful in the worst (best) ways. on netflix.

trial & error. was an nbc comedy over too soon. on peacock, i think.

the river. likewise cancelled early, but it's horror on the amazon and i loved it a lot. idk where to find this one, but i'm sure it's streaming someplace as all things are these days.

not dead yet. which finished its first season recently is an easy watch & pretty funny. the MC is very relatable in an, "i am a mess" sort of way alsjdf;adfs. i think this is nbc, but i watched it on hulu.

movies:

everything everywhere all at once. i can't wait to watch this again. it was my first time in a non-socially distanced movie theatre post-quarantine and it was such a joy to hold my spouse's hand while i laughed my ass off and cried and yelled. love this fucking thing (as does everyone else, as they should).

you won't be alone. this is horror. body horror. it's pretty messy in parts but so so sooooooo soooooooooooooo good. it's also primarily in macedonian with subtitles and i'm not sure how hard it would be to track down.

the impostors. with stanley tucci and oliver platt is a comedy from my youth that i still think is one of the best of all time.

a goofy movie. idk, y'all, i just showed this to my spouse because it was referenced in an episode of atlanta (another great fucking tv show) and it's still just so funny and heartwarming and the music they made for powerline is so good.

spiderman: across the spider-verse. haven't even seen this yet but my god i want to so badly and i just know it's gonna be killer because the first one blew my mind.

anime (i'm probably not gonna come up with much here you haven't already seen or know about tbh but let's see):

blue period. especially as an artist, i think you might enjoy this one. i binged it in like a day and a half and thoroughly enjoyed it all very much. on netflix.

maid-sama! i actually enjoyed watching this anime so much that i then went back and read the whole manga because i needed to know how it ended. it was cute and expected and exactly the sort of low-stakes shojo i needed at the time.

ghost hunt!.i fucking love this little horror anime and am so disappointed it didn't get to go longer. there is a manga and also a light novel that are very worthwhile if you ever have the time.

Another cheaty coli method sorry

i just wanted to share my way of grinding the coli. 

I don’t know if there’s a preinstalled, similar software on windows (otherwise there are enough options to install anyways) but I’m using „Automator“ Workflows on my Mac. (its almost 10 years old but even that old box can manage to run it a Little bit during festivals) it’s a Nice preinstalled program that lets you record and replay mouse and keyboard operations. 

here is what I do:

first of all, I use safari and not chrome, opera or something, safari just works the best for me with automator, I had the least errors during tests.

i record the base „select, scratch, attack“ for 4 opponents (even if there are just 3 in the current battle, just to prepare if you come across a battle with 4) and click the „fight on„ button. (I also make sure to alight the website the same way everytime - the red header aligned with the top of the screen in my case - so the recorded click doesn’t miss the button)

then you can stop recording and just copy paste the recorded action over and over again. and hit play of course so that it Replays your keyboard shortcuts and clicks.

if im in a higher venue I most of the time build breath up by myself and then record 1 round with scratch-Eliminate. i do sometimes just combine building up breath and actually eliminating into one workflow on automator but i often run into issues with it. (Combining as in  recording a scratch/ meditate round etc, copy pasting it to however often you need it to get enough breath and then recording a eliminate round) (I really recommend recording only 1 fight and copy pasting, then if it keeps messing up you only have to redo the recording of 1 battle, not 5…)

this method isn’t perfect. It won’t clear captcha, it does mess up often enough and you have to restart the action. It’s trial and error sometimes but for me it’s great. It’s also definitely slower than I’d actually be, I get way less errors when not racing through a fight like i usually would so I’m keeping it at a “relaxed coli grinding” speed xD

I don’t have the time to grind the coli for festivals or if I’m low on food so I can run it while working on my uni projects etc. on my Pc. I also barely earn Any treasure off of it. (I don’t do it enough to get goood drops from the coli and anyways if I do,I keep-it and let everything collect dust in my hoard.I just hoardsell the junk no one would buy anyways.) and honestly, I’m faster grinding by hand, but it allows me to skip the grind for the most part.

and yes I know it’s against the rules / cheating to automate it but cmon… I don’t have hours to spend in the coli

So yeah, I hope this maybe helps someone who’s maybe also too busy to spend alot of time on FR or is physically not able to grind for hours etc.

tl;dr - I’m just explaining a bit in detail how I cheat a bit in the coli using “Automator” (on a Mac, it just record and replays keyboard actions and mouse movements and clicks) because I’m busy

Basically because no one listens to me so imma just do a post with some of the best ones I've found.

1.-

So, this one is DA BEST. It tells the story of this four 15 year old kids and allllll the romance drama in their life. Gabby (the one in the top left) is the best character. I take no criticism. It updates every Monday!! So that's cool :)) Oh and btw the four of them don't get really together until season 4 👁️👄👁️

2.-

THIS ONE IS JUST SO INTRIGUING. It's a story situated in the apocalipsis, and it's pretty gore and violent, AND SAD, but it's sooo good. There is too much cannibalism, and creatures eating people, buuuut hey idk you might like that stuff (I surprisingly do :v) It updates every Tuesday!!!

3.-

This. The most adorable series in the world. It's located in mars, but basically the only thing that can tell you they are martians are the weird names and that they have telepathy (it's not that important also, so ._.) Basically you just follow Connor around his life, and... Yeah. It has it's romancy stuff :D Idk when this updates to be honest, it says every Wednesday, but like, some yes, some no, eH. STILL. PRECIOUS.

4.-

This one was the first one I read, and it's soooo goood. Basically Jackson arrives at this school and strange things start happening, involving green magic that only he can see. So you read about all the stuff that gets him in trouble (with the magic, ya know) It's very calm at the beggining, but by the end there's drama EVERYWHERE. It's on hiatus rn, but it will come back for season 2 :)

5.-

It's tagged by romance, but honestly I would have tagged it in drama. BECAUSE. THERE. IS. SO. MUCH. OF. IT. Basically this emperor's daughter who is Blondina (half blood though) is taken in at the castle after 9 years of living in the streets, and just lives there and suffers (because she is a half blood). He meets this beast (in this world there is royalty (who govern over the normal people) and beasts, who are people that turn into panthers) and becomes friends with him. And then they grow up, Blondina step sister wants to kill all beasts, and it's all DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA. Basically, court drama. Real good. And it updates every Monday!

This one is also good!! Kids that suffer. All ya need to know. There are six of them, and they all have their own little/big drama to deal with. It's kinda sad, but anyway~ It updates every Saturday :)))

When I first heard there was going to be an Interview with the Vampire series I was skeptical and not really interested but then I saw the trailer and it looked sooooo goood that I decided to re-read the book and now I am so hyped for that series! Feel free to blacklist now because on Oct 2nd that's going to be all over this blog, Oct 1st if AMC+ does an early release.

I liked this book when I first read it but upon second read I really enjoyed it so much more, I think I was a little too young the first time to really understand it but now I can see it as the great book it is and understand why people got so hooked. Even then the one thing I liked most was Louis and Lestat's relationship, and reading it all over again I've just fallen into the rabbit hole.

Which brings me to a question for my fellow Loustat shippers specifically those who have read the book series: are they worth it? Would you recommend checking them out? Because here's the thing I didn't have an interest in reading the other books until I learned they're reunited in them and I saw some of the quotes, and now I'm really tempted to read them. So should I? Do they end up together at the end of the last book, or would I be mad and should just stick to the first one?

“GOOOD MORNING, SASH!” Anne yells, far too cheery for the morning. “Me and Marcy are gonna stop over soon, so be prepared, ‘kay?”

“What... don’t you guys have school?”

That’s where they should be, anyways. None of them have missed a single day since coming back from Amphibia- the need to find a routine again, to have a little bit of normalcy was too much for any of them to even think about skipping class. Of course, wanting to be at school didn’t mean much when you fracture your ankle and your doctor recommends bedrest.

Stupid cheer practice, she thinks, a little bitter that that’s what did her in.

Not fighting for a toad army, or going toe-to-toe with her best friends, or getting sliced by Darcy. Nope. Nothing cool like that at all.

Instead, one of her teammates dropped her. Not on purpose, and had it been at any other moment, Sasha would have easily stuck the landing. Unfortunately for her, it happened just as Marcy and Anne showed up to watch their practice, and Sasha was just distracted enough that instinct didn’t kick in until there was already a sharp pain travelling up her leg, forcing obscenities out through clenched teeth.

She only just got discharged from the hospital the day before, and now she’s home for a few days while she gets used to her crutches, bored out of her mind.

Or, she would be, if not for-

“What? No! It’s already 4 o’clock, dude!”

A quick glance at the time on her phone confirms it: she slept through the entire day.

“...Oh.”

A laugh comes through the phone- Marcy, for sure.

“Don’t worry, Sash, we’ve got your homework. And like 37 different apology notes and get-well-soons from the squad.”

“Oh, frog. I told them it was okay!”

“Yeah, but they still feel bad,” Anne says. “But don’t worry about that right now, we’re just gonna stop at our houses on the way to pick some stuff up.” A pause. “You’re at your dad’s, right?”

She hums in confirmation.

“Cool, see you in a bit!”

“Bye Sasha!”

“Bye, girls.”

The line goes quiet, and her room is silent again. Only now, that’s the opposite of what she wants- her girlfriends always know how to turn her mood around.

“Where’s Anne?” Sasha asks, hugging Marcy until she lets go. She came in alone, no Anne in sight, which was odd.

“We were almost here when she said she had a great idea! Don’t know what it is, but she looked really excited about it and pretty much took off! She said it’ll only take her like half an hour tops.”

Sasha snorts.

That’s become pretty typical of Anne. She’s always going out of her way to do something way too nice for Sasha and Marcy both. Something really meaningful that makes Marcy want to cry... and makes Sasha want to cry and hit something. In a good way. 

“So... what’s all that for, then?” she asks, pointing down to the bag at Marcy’s feet.

“Oh my frog, I almost forgot!” Marcy squeals, picking it up and dumping its contents out all over Sasha’s bed. “I brought markers! So we can decorate your cast!” Swatting a few of them aside also reveals a couple of discs. “And I brought... our favorite movie! The cut and uncut version!”

“Oh, you mean your favorite movie?” Sasha teases. They’ve all watched it plenty of times since returning home, and though she won’t admit it, it actually was her favorite movie now. It doesn’t matter, though; Marcy and Anne see through her anyways.

“Yep, our favorite movie,” Marcy confirms with a smile. “But we should wait or Anne to start it. In the meantime...” A gleam enters her eyes as she picks up handfuls of markers. “It’s art time!”

“Woah, there. I dunno about that...”

“Awwww, come on, Sash! Pleeeeease? I promise I’ll draw lots of cool stuff!” She pouts, and plays up the puppy-dog eyes that Sasha absolutely can’t say no to. 

Sasha puts both her hands up in surrender and sighs, though she can’t mind too much.

“Okay, okay. Have at it, Mar-Mar.”

There’s a battle happening on her cast.

What started off as little flowers and silly doodles of their Amphibia friends turned into a fully-fledged battle. Little spears and swords clashing against robots and vaguely Core-like entities. Sasha, Marcy, and Anne at the front of it all. Pink, green, and blue streaks mark them as powered up, ready to fight.

And that’s not to mention just how detailed it all is. Sasha was ready to throw the cast away the first moment she could, but now it’s too beautiful to ever throw out.

“This is... wow, Marcy. I’m like. Really, really impressed.”

Of course, Sasha knows how much work Marcy’s been putting into her art- she and Anne have been doing their best to be supportive of her interests. And that’s not hard to do at all when her art is so amazing. 

Marcy, with her tongue sticking out, is too focused on finishing the giant green d20 to answer right away, but she sits back on her haunches when she’s done and admires her work. She looks so proud, and that makes Sasha happy, too.

“Yeah, you know, I think this is some of my best work!”

“Totally! Now you have to sign it, too. That way everyone knows I own a Marcy Wu original. You know, so I can brag when you’re famous.”

It’s enough to make Marcy blush, but she does finish the drawing off with a quick signature at the bottom.

“I feel kinda bad, I didn’t leave Anne any room to sign...”

“Well, what if we all sign our names next to where we’re fighting?”

Marcy lights up at the suggestion.

“Yes! Sash, you’re a genius-!”

“Hey, girlfriends!”

“Anne!”

“Anne, hey- woah. What, uhh... What happened to you?” Sasha asks, looking her other girlfriend up and down, from her muddied pants to her shirt with tears in the fabric, to her hair full of leaves- just like when she was in Amphibia. And just as odd, she’s only wearing one sock, while the other foot is bare.

“Oh, nothing,” she says with a bright smile. “Just had to go pick up something.”

From behind her back, she pulls out a shoebox that’s just as dirty as the rest of her. There are holes poked through the sides and top, and that’s enough of a tip-off for Sasha to know what’s inside.

“Anne, I love you, but you know frogs still aren’t really my thing...”

“What? No, I know that! That’s why I got you this guy instead!”

She takes the lid off the box and angles it so Sasha can see- revealing a big, plump toad taking his abduction into a shoebox pretty damn well. It makes her heart pang, and then the toad croaks and it sounds just like Grimesy that Sasha nearly begins to bawl.

“Aww, he’s so cute!” Marcy coos, looking into the box. “Can we keep him?”

“Yeah, Anne, can we?”

She’s sure she could convince her dad to get a decent habitat built for it. The money isn’t an issue, anyways, and her parents have been a little too clingy after her disappearance. She’s about to mention it when she notices the look on Anne’s face.

“Heh, probably not guys. He shouldn’t be out of his environment for too long. But, I just thought... I don’t know. I thought it’d be a nice reminder. Just for a little bit.” Her smile’s a little sad. “I was going to bring him back to where I found him when I left.”

“That’s... yeah, that’s for the best.” Sasha pulls her into a hug, careful not to jostle the box, and Marcy joins in. “Thank you, Anne. It was really cool getting to see him.”

“Anytime, Sash. You know you’re my girls.”

By the time they’ve all finished watching the cut version of the film, it’s dark outside. They’ve eaten way too much popcorn and sweets, their pillows are littered all over the room from an earlier pillow fight, and they’re all too wound up to even think about calling it a night.

“Okay, okay, let me just- I gotta go put this guy back, it won’t take as long as it did to get him. But then we’re putting on the uncut edition, and it’s over for the both of you,” Anne says, laughing at the other two.

Sasha’s got Marcy pinned underneath, her cast not slowing her down in the least. She looks up at Anne and grins, and Marcy mirrors the expression, not letting her upside-down view of the world ruin her fun.

“Come back soon! My dad ordered in pizza for us, and he’s also picking up some of those cupcakes Mar-Mar likes so much.”

Marcy gasps, sitting up so fast that it knocks Sasha off to the side

“The red velvet!?” 

Snickering, Sasha rolls off of her completely.

“Yeah, those ones.”

“YES!”

She throws her fists up in victory- too fast for herself, this time, because it knocks her off balance and makes her fall onto her side, too. 

They all erupt into giggles.

“Come back quickly, Anne! There might not be any cupcakes left if you don’t hurry-”

“Sasha!”

A pillow flies into her face, and Anne bursts into laughter all over.

“Hey, calm down girls, don’t have too much fun without me!”

“Never!” their voices ring out, Marcy’s muffled now that Sasha’s wrestled the pillow from her.

Resting her elbows on the pillow that is firmly set over Marcy’s face, Sasha winks at her. 

“Be safe, okay?”

“Sure, Sash,” Anne says with a smile. “I’ll be back soon, girls.”

It goes like that, for the next seven weeks.

The girls come over every day after school, even after Sasha’s allowed to go back. They chatter about anything and everything, from the upcoming school dance- which they’re all going to with each other- to the cheer squad dedicating a brand new cheer to Sasha. Something about wanting her with them even when she has to sit on the sidelines.

It’s sweet, really.

But nothing helps the time fly faster than her girls.

Marcy brings over countless video games to play- ones where Sasha can just button-mash through the fights like she prefers, but also the strategy kinds where she really gets to sharpen her skills. She’s still got it, even if she’s no longer commanding Amphibia’s largest army.

Anne is always bringing over something homemade- usually food she helps her parents make, but also sometimes new song lyrics for them to try out. Not that the band is still going strong- they’ve hardly played a musical note together since the battle of the bands in Amphibia- but it’s fun to sing together and rock out in her room.

Not to mention the sheer amount of sleepovers they have, some spanning their entire weekends. They used to have sleepovers a lot back in the day, but it’s incomparable to how many they have now that they’re home and more open with one another.

In those seven weeks, Sasha learns more about frogs and toads and newts and olms than she ever imagines she would, but she loves hearing Anne and Marcy talk about what they love. There’s a passion that wasn’t there before- or maybe it was always there, and it just took their time in Amphibia for Sasha to wake up and notice it.

And speaking of passions... everyone at school loved her cast; there were times it was hard for her to get through the hallway because of all the people swarming their little trio. Marcy’s art was a major hit, just like she knew it would be, and Sasha didn’t miss a single chance to show it- and her girlfriend- off to the rest of the school.

A lot of people tried to sign it, or wanted to, but Sasha refused. The only names she wanted on it were hers, Marcy’s, and Anne’s. It felt too personal to let anyone else sign.

Other than that, school often dragged, not that she minded that much. The sense of normal that came from it was still nice, even if she couldn’t stay after school to join in cheer practice.

A couple of times, rather than her mom or dad picking her up, Anne and Marcy somehow convinced whichever parent to let them take her home. Which, of course, always resulted in a detour.

Once, to the park, where they squabbled over getting to push Sasha in the swing. (Sasha promptly shut that argument down by using her good foot to kick off and give herself a massive push.

Another, to that old antique shop, where everything started. That was a little bittersweet, she’ll admit, but it also meant a lot, considering how far they’ve come together.

Twice to Anne’s house, and once to Marcy’s.

Anne’s parents never let them leave without being full and bringing leftovers home. Plus her dad had a pretty fun fight with Anne using those fake sci-fi swords- Anne crushed him, though. He was a good sport about it.

Marcy’s mom, on the other hand, loved hearing about the girls and how their school was going, which was nice in its own way. She treated them to a delicious dessert and hugged each of them before they left.

And when the cast finally comes off, she takes it home with her.

Overall, those seven weeks weren’t too bad, Sasha thinks, remembering all of the little things her girlfriends did for her.

Not bad at all.

okay, but lets get down to business!!

1.i loved that we got an inside on heeseung and what he has been up to!! it was really wholesome to read his own “figuring out i like my sisters best friend”, it was so cute and his overall makeover - that was fun to read!! also the bit of him meeting jake lmaoo that made me laugh ^^ i can totally see that !!!

2.the "lets avoid him" trope was what i expected and it was exceeded perfectly !! like yes!! thank u !! also chaeyeong seeing right THROUGH yn was amazing, yeah gurl u aint slick !!! but thanks for making the dumbass (yn) confront hee tho!!! bless!!!

3. PLEASE THE WHOLE MOVIE NIGHT STUFF??????? i giggled and kicked my feet like a little girl, omg, it was so amazingly written i could feel everything !!!every heart fluttering moment was described so well!!! I WAS AMAZED!!! and hooked on the story even more!!!!! their talk “so dont” 2eojiwfndwqdsjekwdsnjfsd making out in the kitchen was a superior scene!!!!

4. their "sneaking around" was also so well narrated!!! car is THE SPOT !!! omg and the star gazing :((( making out in the backseat tho 🤭🤭🤭

5. the pool party tho………consider me dead cuz it was so good, I LOVED THAT SCENE too, i mean..shirtless hee?? being playful in the pool? making heart eyes?? going on the slide with yn? kissing her THIGH?? MAMMA MIA !! :OO, toooooooooooo goooooooooooood 

6. ngl the fact that yn didnt tell Seeun the truth when she asked had me "oh NOO this is bad innit?" i knew this was not gonna end well whyyyyyy, i mean i get why cuz she was scared BUT :(((( 

7. and for the BIGGEST JAW DROPPING MOMENT OF THE FIC WHICH I READ LIKE THIS :OOOO,  the bedroom/shower scene HOLY FATHER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!!! I ASCENDED… the dry humping  was so fucking hot,i mean , the idea itself BUT THE WAY U WROTE IT i was wowed and also they were so cute and heeseung IS THE BIGEEST SIMP EVER in a good way like his thoughts on not knowing what to do but doing what makes yn feel good……………………….god me when!!! REALLY IT WAS AMAZING!! hi !!! would u share ur adobo recipe or is it a secret? the pic of it looks so goood and tasty !

Hello it's not a secret but also the measurements are bad bc i eyeball everything! Anyways here is my humble abodo recipe:

Soy sauce - ~1/2 cup

Vinegar - ~1/3 cup (my tip w this is that you want it to be a balance of salty-sour-sweet, you want the tanginess from your vinegar to brighten ur adobo sauce)

Water - just eyeball this, u will know how much to add when you look at how much protein u will cook (you need just enough to help ur protein cook)

Freshly ground black pepper - probs 1 tea spoon (or to taste)

Dried bay leaves - 2 pcs only

Garlic - 6 cloves, minced (but like by all means if u are a garlic girl u can add more)

Brown sugar (and brown sugar only pls) - 1-2 tbsp (to taste)

Salt - to taste

Msg - to taste (rlly u just need a tiny amount)

Chicken thighs - 4-6 pcs (but u can choose whatever protein u want like pork belly or tofu or even string beans, etc etc)

Boiled eggs - optional but highly recommended

So u start by taking ur chicken and searing it on your pan, put salt, ur not entirely cooking it but you want to render a lil bit of the fat (if ur using chicken/pork belly bc adobo should have the flavour and richness from the fat that u are cooking it with)

When ur done searing the chicken set it aside and bloom ur spices (ground pepper and dried bay leaves) on the same pan (w hot oil), you will know it's ready when u can smell it and then make sure to lower ur heat and add your garlic and then put ur chicken again and ur water, put it on low bc u want the chicken to cook slowly in the sauce

Add soy sauce and vinegar little by little as the chicken cooks, tasting it as u go so you can figure out if u you want it to be more salty or more sour and then u add the brown sugar

Wait for all the liquid to evaporate, add boiled eggs when the sauce thickens, the sauce should be thick and glossy and turn into a beautiful dark brown that will coat your chicken and then some ppl like eating adobo w jasmine rice, but i recommend pairing this with fluffy basmati rice
