About Me!
Tumblr media
H! I'm Kris! I'm 19 and use They/he/it pronouns
I'm a digital artist from Canada, who started drawing almost 9 years ago! I've had the privilege of going to a vocational school with specialized art programs, and I've also been to accepted into a Game Art college course (though I dropped out after 1 semester-)
Since I was in highschool, I wanted to be an art teacher. However, I do not do well in a school environment (a mix of mental illness and possible undiagnosed AuDHD), I didn't even make it through college.
I still wanted to teach, so this blog was born!

Lazy Days Info Dump pt. 2
You read the title. Let's do this.
SO. I've been brainstorming ideas for the others characters within this AU, as in, the other Robinsons. These will just be little character bios, and these were made recently. So everything you see here is subject to change!
Lucille Still as lively as ever! When she's not baking or sewing, she's swimming in her family's pool. She tries to stay positive after the death of her husband, Bud... and that meant going to grief counseling.
Gaston A streamer/online personality. He started off by playing FPS games, but nowadays he's interested in the likes of indie games, especially indie horror. Yes... the other Robinsons have appeared in his videos on occasion. Like that one time Neil and Gaston made a "gingerbread house."
Art An intergalactic bounty hunter alah Celeste from HuniePop. It's from this job he met Lefty, and rescued her from danger. He's often away from the family for weeks at a time, but he makes sure to bring home cool alien artifacts for the kiddos for when he returns.
Fritz He makes OOAKs with old play line fashion dolls. He has the whole shebang... the 3D printer for more complex projects, the matte varnish, the sewing patterns, clumps of doll hair, a rooting tool, etc. He posts his creations online.
Petunia Not a puppet! She is still very much alive. Her first husband wound up in prison. He can rot in there for all she cares, because Fritz is a better man. He supported her dream of becoming a lawyer.
Tallulah A world famous model for a high end lounge, lingerie, and sleepwear brand. Her personality is inspired by Ashley's from HuniePop 2. Very chill and laid-back. Also the type to ask fucked up questions.
Laszlo Due to trauma from his past he'd rather not talk about, he's very intertwined with the internet aesthetic known as "Traumacore." This reflects in his digital art, using pastels and cute character designs mixed with dark and disturbing imagery. It's a coping/comfort mechanism for him. He's working on a graphic novel with this style.
Joe After undergoing bariactric surgery, he's taking his personal health a lot more seriously. His positive attitude online and drive to become a better him has landed him multiple brand deals.
Billie The hands on type. The type of girl to get her hands dirty building and painting model trains. She collects vintage and newer toy trains and displays them proudly on her shelf. Well, multiple shelves, actually.
Carl Built with a more cozy, humanoid appearance, he's the family's right hand robot. He's programmed with thousands of ways to enhance the family's daily lives, as well as advanced hardware to make him a truly intelligent AI.
Lefty The maid of the household. Her home planet was a desolate ocean, where a rogue group reined supreme. Now that she's on this exciting, new environment, she eagerly looks at everything with an intense curiosity.
Doris The butler. She's got some sass to her, I'll say that... She's got the same hardware that Carl has, so her developing her own personality was nothing to write about for Neil.
Spike and Dmitri Alien twins who were also rescued from one of Art's missions. They were never given names on their home planet, so the family gave them names. For some reason, they spend most of their day in the garden... sitting in flower pots. Maybe it's because their home planet was very lush? Who knows...
For more info about the AU in general and bios for the other characters, refer to this post -> Lazy Days Info Dump. For busts of the other members of the family, refer to this post -> Lazy Days Character Busts. Still wanna know more? Ask box is always open.

Breaking into the Fashion Industry: 5 Tips for Business Owners
Tumblr media
Breaking into the Fashion Industry: 5 Tips for Business Owners In 2022, the fashion industry's business made history with its pandemic recovery. Apart from in-store shopping, fashion eCommerce has been doing well in the first quarter, with a growth of 19%. But that doesn't mean a budding fashion entrepreneur can break into the industry just as quickly. The fashion industry has long reached market saturation. Getting in will require more than standing out. Read on and learn how to enter the saturated fashion industry successfully.  1. Don't Just Choose Any Niche (Pick Your Niche) A niche market allows you to zone in on select buyers with higher purchase potential. Their specific fashion tastes and budget characterize this group of customers. While selecting a niche doesn't require any special qualification, it requires you to research diligently.  For example, you’ve invited a gardening club to understand their passion for plants. Take inspiration and create based on these desires. Get a pulse of how the hobbyists believe others think of their plant hobby. Create a small batch of garment samples and ask for feedback. Other business owners also ask for comments from family members, friends, and neighbors. 2. Start With Your Core Fabrics (and Then Expand) Young female dressmaker choosing material from catalogue in studio. Tailor looking through fabrics while standing in a sewing workshop. Young clothing designer holding fabric samples while working at tailor shop and looking at camera. Picking fabrics is where a lot of fashion companies fumble. They often juggle balancing production volume and avoiding losses if a style doesn't sell. A simple solution would've been to focus on a select number of fabrics.  With core fabrics, you don't have to fall into the trap of ordering several yards of fabric. Fashion brands can start by creating a few styles with their core fabrics. As you get hold of your niche, expand. 3. Use Branding To Engage With Customers Early on, decide what kind of message and stories you'd want to tell your customers. Look at ways to celebrate your customers' unique experiences. Fashion styles and product design should reflect this celebration, but branding can amplify these communication efforts.  You can see this exchange with fashion brands that cater to younger fashionistas. These brands knew that this customer type considers fashion as a means for expression, a way to project an image of a self that they want others to recognize.   A good example is Terry Costa. Like any fashion and apparel company, Terry Costa understands its client's needs at a level as deep as a confidant. Over the years, the boutique has become women's go-to for prom dresses, bridal gowns, and other high-fashion items. 4. Plan Against Counterfeiters Counterfeiters can throw your hard work by circulating fake products in-store or in stores. Don't make copying your fashion product too easy for these copycats. Create a process for protecting your fashion products and reporting counterfeiters.  You can leverage technology to fight counterfeiters. Start by creating a hologram and watermark. Use these on digital photographs of your product. Invest in software programs that can help you detect copycats online.  5. Develop a "Sixth Sense" for Your Market  Most fashion brands fail to make it past their first year. It happens because they neglect to respond to market changes. These changes include supply, demand, people's purchase behavior, and economic trends.Take, for instance, the story of Totsy, a flash sale company launched in 2009 and closed in 2013. The company relied on people's limited buying power. So when the economy improved, demand for low-price high-end brands declined. Fashion Entry In a Nutshell Market saturation isn't unique to the fashion industry, but the solutions you can use have already been tested in other sectors. Selecting a niche has allowed businesses to grasp their specific market segment effectively. Collaborate with your team to perfect it, and the different strategies discussed in this article, and improve as you thrive. Read the full article

The Demon Brothers: Creative Outlets Headcanons
they are all immortals and when you've lived longer than you can remember, you're bound to find a creative outlet to destress, alleviate boredom, or you know, to just have fun!
Lucifer
He’s a busy demon. If he’s not working, he's sleeping, or cleaning up one of his brother’s messes, so he doesn't have that much time to just relax and explore his creative sides.
That said though, it doesn’t mean he has no hobbies at all.
He plays the piano. He used to play it every morning, back when he’s still in the Celestial Realm, when he’d taught Lilith how to play the piano every morning and she’d sat besides him as his fingers moved across the keys slower so she could copy him.
Nowadays, playing the piano feels very nostalgic and bittersweet, but you’ll hear soft, bittersweet melodies drift from the music room once in a while.
He also composes his own music, but that's an even rarer occurrence. The last time he created a new music piece was centuries ago.
(Ever since MC came to Devildom though, he's been itching to write music for them.)
Practices calligraphy for fun. He has a whole set of brushes and ink and lettering pens. His handwriting is already beautiful but his calligraphy is even more amazing.
Another thing he does is gardening. He's got a great eye for landscape architecture, he's the reason why the house's backyard is pretty.
He plants decorative plants and likes to cross breed flowers so the House of Lamentation's backyard is full of pretty shrubs and unfamiliar flowers.
He is usually joined by Beel as he is the other brother that finds gardening very relaxing.
Mammon
He definitely shows his creativity by coming up with the most absurdly brilliant, out-of-the-box, original schemes to make money.
Mammon can draw, like really good. His drawings are very realistic. He prefers to use traditional media: charcoal pencils, graphite sticks, blenders, erasers, drawing pens, brushes, and maybe some watercolors.
He usually does architecture sketches.
But if you check his drawers, you’ll find several sketchbooks of his brothers in different candid poses. MC alone has taken up three whole sketchbooks. Mammon makes sure MC doesn’t see those sketches though.
Crashes Asmo’s Art Day regularly, claiming that if Levi’s invited then the Great Mammon should be too. Asmo and Levi always complains but they let him stay anyway.
Mammon also has a natural talent on jewelry making and metalwork. He makes jewelry from buttons, beads, pearls, diamonds, and crystals. From small pendants to elaborate neckpieces, simple anklets to ornate hairpins.
Mammon has made metal bookmarks for Satan because the book lover always misplaces his bookmarks or destroys them in fits of rage when he doesn't like a book's ending.
He sculpts wood. It takes him months to finish one small piece because he only does it when he's really, really bored, he prefers to make his much more profitable jewelry.
He keeps all of his sculptures in his room, small and detailed pieces of wood engraving of Devildom native animals lining up on one of the shelves.
Leviathan
This is canon but he draws! He doesn't think he's very good at it, but he really enjoys it.
Unlike Mammon who likes to draw with his charcoal pencils and drawing pens, Levi prefers to draw digitally. He still switch to traditional media now and then though.
Has a monthly scheduled “Art Day” where he and Asmo hang out together, Levi draws with his sketchbook or his drawing tablet and Asmo paints. They basically just gossip and hype each other’s art.
Dabbles in making short animations but feels like it’s just not something for him. He makes short comics though.
He wants to be able to make his own video game someday though. Maybe after he learns programming.
He makes the most detailed cosplay outfits for his own cosplays. He sews really good and patches his brothers clothes when they ask. Where do you think Asmo learns how to sew his own clothes from?
Really good at dancing and he really likes it too. He's a natural at it. From the most intricate traditional Devildom dances to freestyle dancing. He can make new moves on the spot and can copy any moves from one look.
He’s a shy baby though, you’ll rarely see him dance when he’s sober.
Except when he’s playing DDR (Demons Dance Revolution). Then, it’s like he’s the most confident demon in Devildom.
Satan
Satan writes poetry when inspiration strikes him. He has also written short stories but he always comes back to creating beautiful poems. He’s got a way with words.
Photography is something he has only recently taken interest in but he has a great eye for taking breathtaking shots.
Has become the family’s go-to photographer.
“Satan, take a picture of me and Mammon!” “Satan, take our picture, quick!” “Satan, help me get a picture for my Devilgram!”
He’s the reason Asmo’s Devilgram pictures always look like they’re taken professionally in a photo studio or something.
Satan loves art, likes to stroll through museums and stare at paintings for hours, but has little talent in creating them. Even so, he still likes to paint even if he's not good at it.
Sometimes he just wants to slap paint on a canvas and make a colorful mess. It's fun.
He joins Art Day every other month.
Another thing he does is knitting! It relaxes him. It gives him something to focus at when he's angry (um, angrier than usual), just to give his hands something to do that doesn't involve breaking anything. The simple patterns he makes are easy enough that they don't frustrate him.
Rarely ever finishes his knitting though, you'll just find this 5 meters long knitted fabric in one corner of his room with the ends coming undone because he calms himself down enough to stop knitting.
Asmodeus
Regularly designs, cut, and sew his own clothes.
Has a lot of sketchbooks full of drawings of flowy dresses and stylish coats and many aesthetically pleasing shirts.
He has started his own clothing line and sometimes collaborate with Majolish.
But for the most part, he designs clothes for himself and himself only, he doesn't want anyone else to wear clothes as fabolous as his.
Nail art? Nail art.
Asmo paints all of the brothers nails and sometimes he'll persuade one of them to let him do a complete manicure, with glitter polish and shiny studs and all.
Yes, even Lucifer. You just never see the results because Lucifer wears his gloves almost all the time.
Asmo creates beautiful makeup art. He doesn't really like a lot of makeup on his own face though, so his brothers' faces are his canvases.
He also has a great eye for interior decorating and flower arranging. He restyles his room every month.
Not many people know it but he paints. And he's very good at it. He has done a painting of each brother, the paintings can be seen on the walls of the House of Lamentation's hallways.
Art Day with Levi (and sometimes Satan or Belphie) is spent with him in front of canvases, chatting with his brothers, paint splatters on his hands. It's the only day that he doesn't mind looking a little messy.
Beelzebub
He cooks, of course!  And bakes too!
It's one of the times he’s willing to wait to eat because cooking the ingredients first rather than just straight up eating them will make the foods taste better.
Half of the food in the kitchen are his creations. Anything he can make on his own from scratch, he will; jams, ice cream, sauces, juices, bread, chips, etc.
Likes to experiment and always do something different than the original recipes.
He garnishes his cooking like it’s something you order from a five star restaurant.
Beel is another demon who has a green thumb. He likes taking care of plants and doesn't mind getting a bit dirty doing it so gardening is another hobby of his.
If Lucifer plants ornamental plants, Beel grows useful plants like herbs and vegetables and small fruits. He's also good at topiary.
Always has an idea for a DIY project.
His creations is scattered all over the House of Lamentation. Belphie's drawer divider is made out of yogurt cups. Broken drawer knobs recycled into Asmo's jewelry organizer. The coat rack. The bathroom towel holder.
Even Lucifer's hanging Demonus rack is handmade by Beel when he's bored one weekend, with Mammon's help for the engraving decorations along the sides of the rack. Beel's got a bit of Bob the Builder in him.
He is very good at singing. His voice is clear and he has a broad vocal range. Has been caught unconsciously humming in class many times.
Has definitely sang Belphie to sleep.
Belphegor
Does his pranks counts as a creative outlet though?😂 Between him and Satan, Belphie's ideas are the most creative and out of the box, resulting on some of the best pranks they did.
Belphie does origami. It's relaxing, easy enough to learn, and doesn't take much effort and energy to do it.
Has stacks of origami papers in his room: standard origami paper, foil paper, traditional Washi ones, the leather-like Momigami paper, all kinds of paper.
He especially loves to make little origami stars and keeps them in glass jars in his room.
Belphie also has adult coloring books.
And kids coloring books.
Coloring is relaxing to him. It's very calming to just lay down and fills a page with pretty colors for a while. It's not a tiring way to destress, he can color without moving from his bed, and it feels satisfying when he finishes a whole page.
He sometimes joins Art Day if he's not too lazy to move. Still prefers to color alone where it's quiet though.
He also journals. It's another thing he can do that is inexpensive and not energy consuming. He writes about anything that comes to his mind, his thoughts, his ideas, memories.
Definitely keeps a dream journal.
Also I headcanon that as the Avatar of Sloth, sleep and dreams are some of the things he can manipulate. He enjoys creating dreams; the worldbuilding, the story, the details. He can be really creative when it comes to making them, spinning the most vivid and imaginative dreams.
They’re not necessarily good dreams though. After all, he is still a demon, his dreams will most likely mess up your mind than make you smile in your sleep.

How to Love Christmas Again
Tumblr media
Belphegor x gn!MC
Word Count: 4295
Genre: Fluff
Summary: As the holiday season rolls around, MC requests to go back home and spend Christmas at their apartment in the human world. Diavolo agrees on the condition they bring a brother to protect them since they have pact marks yet no knowledge of how to use them. Who better to bring then their sleepy boyfriend, Belphegor, even if it means they have to avoid all other humans the whole week!
“Oh right, I almost forgot that was today,” A young Belphegor reaches under his bed to pull out the gift boxes Lucifer had helped him wrap for his twin and the young girl. Beel runs to his own bed bringing out his own gifts for his siblings.
“Did you wrap these yourself, Lilith?” Beel giggles as he observes the horror show of wrapping paper around his gift from her.
“Did you wrap these yourself, Lilith?” Beel giggles as he observes the horror show of wrapping paper around his gift from her.
“Did you wrap these yourself, Lilith?” Beel giggles as he observes the horror show of wrapping paper around his gift from her.
“Did you wrap these yourself, Lilith?” Beel giggles as he observes the horror show of wrapping paper around his gift from her.
“Well… I tried to but had trouble, so I asked Mammon and Leviathan for help - but then Leviathan got wrapped up in tape and it just turned into a mess,” she giggles with a blinding smile. “Anyways open your gifts!”
Belphegor watches as Beel unwraps the gift from their baby sister, revealing a box of freshly baked cookies she had made that morning. Beelzebub gave her a hug thanking her before he moved to watch Belphegor open his gift from Lilith.
He unwrapped the gift and saw a soft pillow covered in the pattern sported by cows. He smiles wide and wraps his arms around her in a tight embrace.
“I sewed it myself, I hope it is soft enough,” she smiles at him.
After they opened their gifts from Beel, a new blanket for Belphegor, and a new dress for Lilith, they moved on to Belphegor’s gifts.
“Don’t call me cheesy, okay?” He blushes as they pull out the shiny golden necklaces. Beelzebub held a necklace with a charm shaped like a sun and Lilith’s sporting a star. Belphie reached down his shirt and pulled out the necklace he had gotten for himself, a moon-shaped charm resting on the chain.
“Belphie these are beautiful!” Lilith exclaims as Belphegor puts it around her neck.
“Think of these as a promise. A promise that we’ll always protect each other.”
The three sat in the circle agreeing and swearing to protect each other no matter the cost.
The Celestial war was the last time he saw those stars. He watched as the necklace flew off of her chest, blood splatter landing on it as the arrow penetrated her wing. He watched as the chain snapped from the force of Lilith’s body flying backward. He watched as he broke his promise to protect her-
-
Belphie sat straight up, breathing heavily as he woke up from the flashback. He stared straight ahead as he tried to refocus his breathing. Despite the darkness of the attic - he could see the outline of a person next to him. He glanced down at MC as he turned on a lamp. He grabbed their face and checked their pulse, letting out a sigh of relief as they stirred, blinking away the sleep from their tired eyes.
“Belphie? You ok?” MC reaches up to wipe a tear he hadn’t even realized fell from his violet eyes.
He couldn’t respond, his mouth open as nothing but a choked sob came out. MC sat up and pulled him against their chest, rubbing his back soothingly.
“Another nightmare?” they ask, receiving a shaky nod in return. Belphegor looks at the digital clock that rested beside his bed and reads the numbers.
It was 2:03 AM on December 20th.
-
The next morning, MC and Belphie arrived at breakfast. “MC, the human world holiday season has arrived, Diavolo wants you to be prepared to talk to him this morning about how we can incorporate these human world festivities into our home to make you more comfortable during your stay,” Lucifer announces as MC helps him clean the dishes.
“Actually… I was wondering if perhaps I could go home. Just for a week or so to see family and be in my own home. Christmas is special for me and I don’t really want to spend it in Hell.”
Lucifer looks surprised at their request and opens his mouth, most likely to protest the idea saying it would be a hazard to send MC out to the human world, but he is interrupted by another voice, one belonging to the demon prince himself.
“Of course you can go home for the holidays! Though it may be riskier for you seeing as you now have pacts with all seven demon brothers yet have no idea how to use them. So I will allow you to go home but you will have to take a brother with you,” Diavolo states, causing Lucifer to turn around in surprise.
“I will go with them Diavolo I am the only one who can be trusted-”
“No Lucifer, this is a special holiday and I want you to allow MC to choose for themselves for once.”
MC’s mind immediately goes to Belphie. They thank Diavolo with a big hug due to their excitement and run up towards the attic in search of their sleepy boyfriend.
“Belphie! Belphie!” They jump on the pile of blankets that hid his body beneath them.
“What?” He groans.
“Diavolo said I could go home for a week to celebrate Christmas!” They exclaim and he gives them a half-assed smile.
“Cool. Have fun,” He turns over intending to go back to sleep and not wake up until after the season has passed.
“He said I have to take a brother with me though, so I figured, you used to love the human world so why don’t you join me?” They smile sweetly at him.
He tenses and looks at the ground, avoiding their pleading eyes. “I can’t.”
“But why?!” They whine.
“Because… because I don’t want anybody to get hurt.” He turns to look at MC and they see the fear in his eyes, “what if I get angry again? What if I kill an innocent human while we’re there. MC I can’t go, I don’t want to hurt anybody-”
“Well then we’ll just have to stay inside, no big deal,” they shrug as if they hadn’t a care in the world. “I’ll go food shopping the first day so that we can eat, then we’ll hide out in my apartment all week watching Christmas movies and drinking hot cocoa and all that jazz.”
Belphegor looks at them with hope in his eyes as he contemplates whether or not to join them on their journey.
“You pinky promise we won’t leave the apartment?” He looks at them with a very serious look, and they lean forward, lightly bonking their forehead against his.
“I swear on my soul.” They state before leaning their head down to kiss him softly.
-
As they prepared to depart for their trip, Lucifer would not stop nagging Belphegor like a mom sending their kid off to summer camp.
“Don’t talk to any humans you don’t know, do you have mittens?! You can’t go without mittens, Belphegor, demons aren’t built for the cold you have to bundle up or else you’ll-” he is interrupted by Belphegor loudly saying his goodbye as he and MC stepped through the portal, landing in front of the apartment building where MC resided. The portal closed behind them and MC grabbed his hand, leading him into their apartment carrying his luggage.
“MC! Long time no see!” the security guard at the front desk smiles widely at them, “you on break from your exchange program in Sweden- or wherever it was you went- for the holidays?” He stands up and walks around the desk to talk more casually to the human.
“George! Yes I’m back, and this is my boyfriend, Belphie, I met him in the exchange program,” MC wraps themselves around Belphegor’s arm as he looks down shyly, afraid to look at any human other than MC.
“Nice to meet ya, Belphie. I’m George, you’ll probably see me a lot since I'm the head of security in this building,” the man reaches his hand out to shake Belphegor’s. Belphie nervously looks at MC who takes the hint and pipes up.
“Sorry about him! He’s Swedish, so he doesn’t really understand, plus he’s a germaphobe so he doesn’t shake hands,” they smile apologetically at the security guard who lowers his hand and gives a nod.
“Tell him I said to enjoy his stay,” George says before walking off.
“Hey Belphie, George says to-”
“Yea I heard him, stupid,” he pokes MC’s cheek before they lead him to the elevator.
As MC reaches their front door and turns the keys they can see Belphie fidget, clearly nervous that they have yet to enter the privacy of MC’s home.
MC uses one hand to push the door open and the other to rub their thumb soothingly over the demon’s knuckles. As soon as they shut the door it feels as if a thousand pounds had been lifted from his shoulders and he lets out a sigh.
“Ok, now that we’re here… do you want a tour?” MC chuckles, grabbing their boyfriend’s hand once more, leading him through the apartment and announcing the rooms as if they were a safari guide.
“Over here you see the bedroom. The natural habitat of an MC. The MC sleeps in this room and nearly never leaves it. This room is where things such as the mating season take place,” MC wiggles their eyebrows suggestively before giving an exaggerated wink, causing Belphegor to snort from how hard he was laughing.
“Your home is very cute, MC,” he compliments.
After picking up their room a bit and placing Belphie’s luggage in the bedroom, MC decides to set up their bed as a nest for them to cuddle in. Belphie and MC lay in the makeshift nest watching horribly hallmark Christmas movies and making fun of their plots before they eventually fall asleep, ending their first day in the human realm.
-
“Hey, be careful you three!” The white haired angel yells at three teens who run through a town decorated for Christmas.
“Woah! Belphie look!” Lilith grabs his shoulder and they look over to see a giant tree, all lit up (i know light bulbs probably didn’t exist in the era before Lilith died BUT we’re gonna pretend it do :D ) and covered in ornaments.
“Oh, I think they’re gonna put the star on top now,” he, Lilith and Beel all push their way to the front of the crowd, ignoring Mammon calling for them to stay close to him.
“It’s so pretty!” Belphie looks at the young woman and his twin, smiling softly as they stare in awe at the shimmer lights as snow falls all around them in small soft flakes they melt on their skin.
“I wish Lucifer, Asmo, and Leviathan weren’t so busy today-” Lilith frowns. “I know they really just didn’t want to come stand in the cold but… I really think if we could’ve convinced them to come they would have loved this.” Lilith smiles gently and looks back up at the twinkling lights of the star atop the giant pine tree before them, “I hope one day we can all see these lights together.”
“I doubt you’ll be able to get those guys down ‘ere, but ya guys got me!” Mammon catches up to them and smiles.
“Hey Mammon! Can we take a tree from the human world and decorate it at home?!” Lilith asks with a wide smile.
“Well it's a bit late this year, but next Christmas I pinky promise,” He raised his pinky towards her and they locked pinkies, bringing smiles to their faces.
But next Christmas never arrived for Lilith. It was on this trip that she met the human man who she fell for. It was mere months later that he fell ill and they were all cast down from the heavens. Bringing the death of Lilith and the birth of Satan.
-
Belphie slowly blinked as he winced away from the bright sunlight he wasn’t used to. He raised his nose to the air and smelled something good, so he stood and followed the scent to the kitchen. There he found MC in their pajamas, holding a pan with eggs over a plate that already had bacon and toast on it.
“Belphie!” They place down the pan and run to him, jumping onto him as he catches their thighs, wrapping themself around him as he holds them up, tightly embracing their small form and swinging back and forth playfully.
“Someone seems hyper this morning,” he lets go of MC and they climb down with a laugh.
“I know you were nervous about coming here so I wanted to thank you for joining me with breakfast in bed… so go back to bed and let me surprise you!” Belphie rolls his eyes and climbs back into the bed, moments later MC enters holding the plate he had previously seen them preparing. “Tada! A traditional human world breakfast!”
They eat their breakfast and watch the news, Belphie accidentally laughing at some tragic events due to his demonic nature.
They spend some time decorating with some supplies MC had hidden away in the deepest depths of their closet. They hang a wreath on the inside of the front door and MC pulls out a fake mistletoe, hanging it on a ceiling lamp Belphie was underneath as he strung some lights around the room.
“What’s that thing?” He tilts his head upwards to look at it more closely.
“It’s a human world tradition, wanna try it out?” MC asks innocently.
“Sure why not, what do I have to do-” he’s interrupted by MC pulling his face down to his for a sweet kiss.
“It’s mistletoe, if you and someone else stand under it you have to kiss!” Belphie smiles and gives them one more kiss before looking back down into the box of decorations and spotting a star.
“Oh, this goes on top of the tree, right?” he asks and MC gives a small smile.
“Yea but I don’t know if I’m going to be able to get a tree up here by myself, so we might have to skip that part-”
“We have to have a tree! That's the best part!” Belphie suddenly bursts out, immediately blushing embarrassed by his sudden enthusiasm. “Lilith used to love the trees.”
“Oh, then I’m sure we can find a way!” MC suddenly whips out their D.D.D, pressing a few buttons before raising it to their ear. “Hey Diavolo! I need a favor-”
-
“Here you two are, have fun decorating,” Diavolo says as they finish screwing a tree he and Lucifer had hauled up to MC’s apartment.
“Honestly, I don’t think you should have called us for this,” Lucifer shakes his head with annoyance.
“Yea you shouldn’t have come to the human world for a Christmas tree, you never could do it for Lilith when she begged-” Belphie scoffs, making Lucifer shoot a glare his way.
“Lucifer and Belphie please behave yourselves, you are representing the Devildom here in MC’s apartment,” Diavolo places a hand on Lucifer’s shoulder.
(from here to the dash mark is a tiny itty bitty bit of Dialuci fluff as a small little bonus)
The three men suddenly hear some snickering as MC looks above Diavolo and Lucifer, causing everyone else to look up in return. They all looked up at the mistletoe that hung above them and MC and Belphie looked at each other with mischief in their eyes.
“Oh yea, Lord Diavolo MC taught me a fun human world tradition, would you two like to give it a try,” Belphie gives an evil smirk.
“Of course, Lucifer you join too!”
As Belphegor explained the tradition Lucifer grew extremely flustered and tried to argue his way out of it, losing in the end as the demon prince was too enthusiastic to participate in human culture and kissed him on the lips with little to no hesitation.
The men left, one beaming with excitement and the other sulking but blushing.
-
MC wrapped the lights around the tree, occasionally tripping over the long tangled wire. Belphie grabbed some tinsel, tossing it around the tree as MC finished the lights.
MC pulled out the normal ornaments first, handing some to Belphie to hang alongside them.
Then they got to the ones with meaning behind them.
“Baby’s first Christmas?” Belphie reads off the ornament shaped like a cradle.
“Oh yea, that’s from my first Christmas! It has my birthstone in there as well, see!”
As they dig through the ornaments and MC tells stories behind them all he can’t help but smile as he gets to know his lover deeper than he had before.
After hours of this, they finish and star at the star that had yet to be placed on top of the tree.
“Do you want put it on, Belphie?” MC smiles up at him.
“Me? Are you sure?”
“Of course this is your first time decorating for Christmas you said so you should get the full experience!” MC hands him the star and he looks at it, a bit nervous before feeling MC’s lips on his cheek, a silent cheer of encouragement.
He climbs the step ladder MC had placed next to the tree and places the star on, plugging it into the wall as it lit up with white lights.
MC runs to turn off the lights so they can see the Christmas light better and Belphie takes a step back, a big smile on his normally sleepy face.
They stand and stare at the tree happily for a few moments before MC excuses themselves to go make dinner. Belphie lays down on the bed and decides to take a power nap while MC cooks.
-
“Ah, I’m so sorry sir!” Lilith exclaimed as she accidentally bumped into the shoulder of a young man.
“No worries, having a lady as breath-taking as yourself bump into me must be my Christmas gift,” the man compliments the Angel before introducing himself.
“Lilith!” Belphegor calls after having searched for them for half an hour, he finally spotted them blushing as they chatted with a human man. Her three brothers watched from afar to ensure her safety, but allowed them to hang out together for a few more minutes.
“Lilith, we need to head back home now,” Mammon interrupted the pair, bringing a frown to his baby sister’s face. He walks away to let them say their goodbyes.
“Oh, uh, sir, I would love to see you again sometime, could we perhaps meet here in the center of town in three days time?” She asks with hope in her eyes and rosy cheeks.
“Of course, I will wait here for you to return.” Belphie overheard their goodbyes and got slight chills, happy that his sister seemed excited, but fearful because he knew that love between Angel and human was something not taken lightly.
When they got home, Belphegor and Beelzebub sat and listened to their sister speak of the man and how they were going to return and see him soon. So every three days, the four of them travelled down to the human world, creating a new tradition. One day Lilith started going by herself, more frequently and sometimes spending days in the human world, staying with her new lover.
Belphegor was so happy to see his sister happy and he thanked Christmas for existing as he knew that if it didn’t she would never have met the person who gave her so much life. But now he couldn’t help but curse the wretched holiday as it caused her to meet the person she would give her life trying to heal.
-
Belphegor woke up the next morning with MC still in bed, sleeping next to him.
He smiled down at the human and thought to himself how hypocritical he was. He had been so mad at Lilith’s lover for her death and claimed loving humans if you were not human was wrong, but here he was staring with pure adoration at a human he was proud to call his.
MC stirred and looked up into sleepy violet eyes before slightly sitting up for a kiss.
They both got ready for the day, brushing their teeth, changing into new clothes and eventually arriving in the kitchen for breakfast.
“Ok, funny story,” MC laughs nervously as they open the cabinets, meeting nothing but air, “we are out of food and I’m going to have to go shopping. So you can either stay here alone or join me. It’s completely up to you.”
Belphegor weighs his options before a small voice in the back of his head tells him to join his significant other in public and protect them from witches or other supernatural creatures that may see the pact marks that adorned their skin.
They unplug the tree to avoid a fire and bundle up to avoid hypothermia.
MC holds his hand the whole way, soothing any nerves he had. They tried to crack some jokes to make him feel less awkward but they eventually stopped as it didn’t seem to help him.
As they shopped Belphie’s vice grip on MC’s hand loosened to a casual hold instead of a fearful one.
“This is actually… kind of nice,” he mumbled as he looked around at the humans shopping, some kids horsing around as their mother tried to reign them in, an old couple slowly making their way down the aisle, a father trying to make his infant laugh at his funny faces.
“See, I told you it wouldn’t be so bad,” MC smiles at him sweetly.
They finished up their shopping and paid for their groceries before leaving. On the way home Belphegor made MC stop so they could look at a snow covered park where parents sat and watched their children and he saw some dogs run after frisbees and snowballs their owners had thrown.
The whole way home Belphie couldn’t stop smiling as he watched humans enjoy their lives despite theirs being so short compared to his own.
Then he saw a young lady bump into a man, apologizing before they struck up a conversation. He saw Lilith and her lover for half a second before blinking and seeing the strangers once more.
When they arrived home and got settled in, putting away the groceries and getting back into their PJs, they sat in front of the TV, watching some show MC wanted to catch up on while they were home where it aired.
A commercial came on that Belphie had seen the night before. It was a Christmas movie that was apparently a “remake” of a story about some green man in the mountains stealing a holiday. He saw on the screen it was apparently ‘in theaters now’, so he turned to the human beside him.
“Hey MC… do you think maybe we could go see that tonight?” he smiled shyly and MC sat up and gave him a soft kiss.
“Of course! I’m glad to see you finally feel good about going outside.”
“I mean… movie theaters are just dark rooms you sit in watching a giant screen for a bit,” he shrugs, clearly still a bit nervous about being around other humans.
“Ok, it is still a start though!” MC hugs him before going onto their phone and looking for movie times.
-
At the end of the movie MC and Belphie walked out hand in hand, him acting much more natural than when they had first arrived.
They returned to the apartment building and were once again greeted by the security guard, George.
“MC! MC’s boyfriend! Have a nice date?” he smiles at the pair.
“Yes! We saw a movie!” Belphie tries to put on his best Swedish accent and watches as the security guard looks surprised.
“Very nice!” George smiles at him, talking very slowly to ensure Belphie could understand him.
Belphie continued to communicate in short and simple sentences in his god awful attempt at an accent. After they left the lobby, MC and Belphie broke into laughter.
“That was awful” MC laughs out, clutching their stomach.
“I only knew how the accent sounded from that show you were watching last night,” he responds, also laughing very hard.
The rest of the night, Belphie and MC make plans for the remainder of their time in the human world.
The next day they went Ice Skating, Belphie falling over a lot before finally getting the hang of it. Though, by the time he got it, he was exhausted and falling asleep on the ice. MC had to hurry home so he didn’t knock out on the sidewalk.
The day after that was Christmas, and Belphie was grateful he hadn’t had any dreams to upset him the past few days.
He had bought MC a gift before they left the Devildom and MC had left to go get him one yesterday when he fell asleep. They both handed each other gifts and unwrapped them at the same time.
“A blanket that matches my pillow!” Belphie exclaims with a big smile, holding the cow print cloth up to get a better view of it. He wraps it around himself as MC finishes getting the wrapping off of his gift to them.
“Oh wow… Belphie this is beautiful,” they lift the necklace up and place the star shaped charm in their palm.
“I had it custom made,” he pulls his own necklace out from under his shirt, “Beel has one too, the third one, that is shaped like stars too, is on Lilith’s tomb under the house. You came and changed me, MC. I want you to know I don’t see you as Lilith, but you are still a piece of my family, and I promise to protect you forever.”
Belphie was certain he would never see the blood on those stars again, he would protect MC with his life and never let them get hurt by anyone or anything.

How Customer Service With American Made Target decorated Apparel ?
How Customer Service With American Made Target decorated Apparel ?
Target Displayed Apparel is one of the fastest growing apparel companies in the target decorated apparel industry. Best known for its award-winning high-res Accusharp four color printing process, Target is a leader in the target decorated apparel market. Target has expanded into a nationwide recognized apparel decorator and printing graphic designs that lead the market in high quality, say General Manager and owner Steven... " Targets are committed to continuing our mission of exceeding customer expectations while producing designs and products that help to define the clothing of tomorrow."
The success of target decorated apparel is attributable to the quality workmanship, excellent service and a number of features. The company has also used some of the most innovative computerized design equipment to create their target decorated apparel. In order to create their quality clothing target decorated apparel, the company uses the most up-to-date technology. This includes the Accusharp color matching software, the top of the line digital press and screen printing equipment and the most modern computer software programs available.
Most people know the basics of target decorated apparel. However, to achieve a professional and unique look, target decorated apparel decorators add subtle finishing touches that make their apparel stand out and look even more professionally done. A target decorated apparel decorator should take extra care and consideration when selecting accessories such as jewelry and shoes. Not only will the target decorated apparel look great, but target decorated apparel will also convey a very strong message to the target customer.
When a target decorated apparel decorator is asked what he or she thinks are the four primary factors that separate good business from great business, they respond with professionalism. The first factor they give is quality service. It doesn't matter if the target decorated apparel is for a kid's party or a wedding, the quality of service a company's employee provide is paramount. It's not enough to be pretty or have nice clothes; the employee must provide exceptional service. They must make customers happy and satisfied with the products or services they receive.
The next four factors that separate great business from poor business are cleanliness, reliability, diversity and taste. A target decorated apparel decorator understands that if his customer service is not good, then everything else is not going to be good. Therefore, a target decorated apparel decorator's job is not to simply produce fancy clothes but to consistently provide quality clothing, great service and a wide range of styles and colors that will appeal to all ages and types of people.
A target decorated apparel business can be found anywhere. Target companies range from local sewing shops to huge multinational corporations with retail outlets. However, most target companies target the middle class and they do it well. They target the loyaltee who loves America and anything American. In fact, target decorated apparel companies target anyone who loves America.
Customers are not only interested in targeting decorated apparel; they are also interested in targeting decorated apparel that represents America in a positive light. For instance, target decorated apparel for a high school prom could have a picture of the star at the top of the dress with the American flag on the bottom. On the other hand, target decorated apparel for a wedding could have an American flag design with the couple on the top of the dress with the American flag on the bottom. It is really up to the target companies to decide what image they want their clothing to convey.
The customer service a target decorated apparel company provides is legendary. Every time a customer enters a store to purchase a product, they are greeted by smiling employees who make the customer feel welcome and comfortable. Customer service in target stores is incredible! The staff goes out of their way to extend each customer's experience by taking them on tours, introducing them to new products, helping them select from a selection or helping them make their purchase at a convenient location.

Sorry if I’m about to ask too many questions but like IVE been thinking about going back to school and one of the things I’ve always loved is fashion and design so what inspired u to do fashion design? Like is there anything you wish you knew before going into it?
Oh no anon you’re good,, you’re not asking too much, I actually kinda wanna thank you for the interest. I find it so cool you’re considering going into fashion too (I can finally talk abt it w someone lol). I’m putting my answers under read more bc it’s a little lengthy 😅
To answer you first question I wasn’t inspired per se it was more like a realization. When I was wondering what program to apply for all the people around me kept recommending I go into fashion and it just made sense?? Mostly because fashion easily became my favourite class I was taking in high school. So I kind of just had this moment where I was like ohh maybe I do wanna go to fashion school (followed immediately after by panic on how to tell my family). But also I should thank my mom for teaching me how to sew when I was two years old. I was a baby!!!!!!! Why did she trust me with a needle!!!!
Okay now for the big money. There is sooooo much I wish I knew before going into fashion school, but most of these things you just kinda to learn for yourself as you go. Fashion is a large industry there’s so much you can do within it don’t glue yourself down to one thing life’s gonna happen and it will work itself out. That being said if you want to be a designer specifically here are somethings I wish I knew beforehand:
love what you’re doing, just like any other program there’s hard work involved and you need something that will keep you going
it is very labour intensive unless you can hire ppl to do the stuff you don’t want to so take good care of yourself!
developing good time management is very important
Network! Put yourself out there! It helps more than you know.
save up some money bc school can get expensive, fabric is pricey and you’ll also need to buy various supplies as well
Invest in a good pair of fabric scissors, get them sharpened whenever they start to feel dull, and don’t let anyone else touch them. Ever. I mean it. They should last you a lifetime.
Buy things you will use a lot of (like paper and muslin) in bulk to save you money in the long run (but wait a bit on this one and make sure you’re serious about continuing first)
learning pattern drafting may seem intimidating at first but it’s really not!
learn how to make technicals/flats digitally, adobe illustrator will be your best friend for this
Also don’t over trust giant fabric chain stores they don’t always know what they’re talking about and most of the time just want to make a sale (but you never heard that from me)
No matter your program research it and make sure it’s the right fit for you and it’s better to go and study where you want to work afterwards. Lastly, fashion is a toxic toxic industry please don’t subscribe to the system, be the change you want to see.

I'm sorry if someone already asked tgis but what are renders? Is it like tracing?
Hey there! Renders are images made with 3D software in a 3D space. So you have the ability to create whatever youd like, control lighting, build something from scratch through programs like Marvelous Designer and Zbrush (and others), and include them in the image you are trying to create. It’s an amazing resource for artists that don’t have a live model or artists that have a hard time visualizing in their head what they are trying to create, such as myself and many other artists. It eliminates the need for photo references (which is completely valid. you are allowed to use them. literally nearly all artists, especially fine artists, do), since you are creating everything for yourself.
As for tracing, no. 3D renders are an art form all on their own. They can stand alone. For myself, I just use them as assets for the paintings I create even though many times I make a render and I could stop, but I paint them all and add onto them (because there is only so much you can do in a render) during the painting process.
-
Now! I’m going to diverge completely away from this anon and just use a point that they brought up. So this has nothing to do with you anon, but on the general question of tracing because I think there’s a huge misconception about me that’s been spread around.
Every artist has their own way of working. I went to the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA for short. I was also accepted to Pratt and SAIC) and have a BFA in Painting. I spent all 4 years in at least 2 drawing/painting classes every semester, which came to around 22 hours a week drawing from life (each class being 6 hours, 1 hour break for lunch, and around 6 hours spent on homework). I want to stress that I know how to draw lol. I was the TA in my anatomy for artists class (that I took twice, simply because I loved it so much), which was a class specifically based around drawing the body, using musculature and bone structure underneath as a guide.
Back then, I was an oil painter and worked solely from life. Which means you look at something, like a live model or a plaster cast, and draw it directly in front of you.
During the summers, I dedicated each break to teach myself something new. Whether that be digital art, using certain programs, sewing, etc.
My senior year I spent the entirety of it painting victims who were murdered by the police onto 12in embroidery hoops and even though I highly identify with that since it is part of my community, I needed to take a step back. Which is why I’ve thrown myself into fanart. Because fanart and digital art make me happy when everything else was so unbelievably dark.
Now, with all that being said, some of you want to consider me less of an artist because I now trace my 3D renders that I’ve spent anywhere on average from 10 - 30+ hours on. I know how to draw, thank you. I don’t bring up the school I went to because oh, look, I went here and got accepted here - but because when I was going to school, your traditional ability meant something (not digging at MICA or any other schools and their processes now. Just that a lot of schools are more accepting of art outside of the fine art sphere. which is awesome). I trace because it makes my life easier. You know that saying? Time = money? Well, my time = my money. And I’m not spending another 6 hours on top of the 10-30 hours I just spent on making my renders, redrawing them. It’s not going to happen.
I’m not an illustrator and I’m not like many illustrators out there. A lot of you may think I have a style, but everything I do is fairly realistic to a point. I say that because when I draw, I need it to be exact. It’s the virgo in me, I guess. I need the proportions to be realistic and so on and so forth and no matter how hard I’ve tried, I simply can’t be the illustrator that most of yall know and see. I just cant. I’ve tried. I’ve agonized over their styles. I cant do it. All I can be is me. And what is that? When it comes to the figure I’m a realistic artist. It is what it is. I cant help that. And me being a realistic artist, means I agonize over what I am doing. I need it to be exact and if I don’t like something, I’ll start completely over. I trace my renders because it’s a faster way to get where I’m going. It’s literally just a time saver - especially when freehanding it would turn out to be the exact same result. Because I’m anal and I need everything to be exact (I hate that about myself and my art but it is what it is).
I am who I am. I am what I am. But me tracing my work (like many fine artists, including the old masters - yes. the old masters - do) doesn’t make me any less of an artist. I’m putting in my 10,000. I create everything I make. I’m literally tracing my own art that I could’ve let be, but want to expand upon.
Now me, personally? I hate my art. I despise almost everything I make and I know that my art isn’t for everyone. Hell, its barely even for myself considering I constantly berate my own work. But I put my everything into my pieces and I’m constantly trying to do better, be better, learn something new, work on something I hate, try a different technique, push myself out of my comfort zone knowing it will fail, and more. I’m nowhere near where I want to be - not even close.
But me choosing to trace something I already fucking made myself to save over 6 hours of drawing time on top of the however many fucking hours it took to render it and how long it’ll take to paint the god damn thing, doesn’t make me any less an artist. I would post examples of my drawings, but Ive already done that before. they’re somewhere on my page and I’m really tired of feeling like I have something to prove - considering this issue really doesnt matter to the majority of you.
It matters to me though and I hope that it’s now cleared.
tl;dr, i know how to draw. i went to school for it and have a bloody degree in it. I trace my renders because they’re already my art, i created them, and I’m not spending another 6 hours over the 10-30 I’ve spent on the render, redrawing them.
Sorry for this long rant. It really shouldn’t bother me, but it does. It devalues so many amazing fucking artists and their craft that they’ve spent their lives creating.
Thank you for the question Anon and sorry for using it as a post to rant on lol.

Upcycling boundary-pusher and ex-Reebok graphic designer Nicole McLaughlin has turned making something out of nothing into an art form. For her, sustainability starts with the urgent need to repurpose waste. The footwear industry alone pumps out 24 billion pairs of shoes a year, and much ends up in landfill. But it doesn’t stop there. Designers must think differently, says McLaughlin, and make sneakers circular. One thing we can do to fast-track it? Collaborate
Allbirds: How do you approach sustainability?
Nicole McLaughlin: “You can’t just kind of be in it; you have to fully be in it. I wouldn’t want it any other way, now that I’ve dipped my toe into to the world of sustainability, mostly through upcycling and having conversations with people who are much more expert than me. I’m learning as I go.”
Allbirds: What do you see as the most pressing sustainability issues in fashion, and how are you trying to overcome them?
McLaughlin: “Overproduction and waste. I used to work within corporate fashion and footwear. Coming into the industry as a lover of clothing and shoes, then being faced with the reality of working in the field, seeing the scale and travelling to factories - all that made quite an impression on me.
“I look at sustainability from a social perspective too: how you are paying your workers and how they are treated. The human side is very important. But I felt, honestly, that Adidas and Reebok had pretty good factories, so the thing that really got me motivated was how much product the industry produces. It’s crazy to see that in its full form. It changes you. Also, just being around piles of clothes and shoes in the office, you start thinking about using what’s already available.
“It’s definitely wild to see the scale of waste, and I don’t think most consumers really know about it. I’m trying to raise awareness without putting companies on blast. Rather, to help them, to be like: What are the things we can do creatively to address the problem? Because this is not about one brand or another brand; this is about the culture as a whole.
“Sustainability within sneakers is just starting to become a more discussed thing, but from an upcycling perspective, it’s not brand new. At one point Reebok used recycled tyre rubber to create soles. There’s so much that can be done if we’re more resourceful. Actually, Allbirds was my first real introduction to a sustainable brand that puts materials first, and I’m not just saying that!”
Allbirds: You did a collaboration with us, together with Chinatown Market, in August, donating the proceeds to charity. How did our materials inspire you?
McLaughlin: “I wanted to highlight Allbirds’ amazing materials and still have the fun, playful aspect. It was during peak quarantine, and you shipped me three or four huge boxes of sample materials, including these square swatches that were perfect for patchwork.
“It was my first time working with wool [and] it was cool to understand how it folds and moves. A lot of my process is sculptural because I am physically putting it on my body, seeing if it’s a malleable material, what I can do with it. I designed some bags, I did a vest made from shoe uppers, a shoe ,which was really cool, and a really fun basketball hoop bra.”
Allbirds: You use humour to cut through. Let’s unpack this statement from your website: “This unexpected translation of materials allows her to uniquely highlight the message of sustainability.” How do you talk to your community about your ideas and values? What kinds of reactions do you get?
McLaughlin: “Humour can break the ice. I’m trying to say there’s a lot of stuff already made, in a funny, practical way to get people thinking. I get messages pretty much every day from students, or people into sustainability that get it. Then I have other people who’ve followed me for a long time and it suddenly clicks for them; they’re like, ‘Oh, I see, all of this stuff is secondhand…’ That’s something I really love.
“My approach to upcycling and sustainability is a little bit different than the traditional way of creating a sustainable collection. For me, design - and the way that you perceive it - comes first. You think about the sustainability after you have been interested in the invention or the idea ... I don’t want to say it’s sneaky, because that’s not the right way of doing it, but you know what I mean. There are people who don’t want to be lectured to.”
Allbirds: You’ve made working with other brands’ deadstock into an art form, but what do collabs mean to you beyond their physical possibilities?
McLaughlin: “It’s funny to see the evolution because now brands are reaching out to me. When I started, I was using [items from] brands I liked, that I felt passionate about, just on my own. Now it’s great to have the opportunity to work together on finding solutions. There are more younger designers getting these collaborations, which is awesome. It goes both ways: we’re teaching these brands methods of dealing with waste, and they’re giving us a larger platform.”
Allbirds: What would real change look like for you?
McLaughlin: “I think a lot about circularity. It’s a daunting task for larger brands that have been in business for longer than I’ve been alive; they’ve put out years and years of product, and to change the whole way they work, and take back all that product, is asking for something major. But I see the value in brands that do take their product back, or have repair programs. Or if something’s too damaged to fix, they will take it back and re-use the materials. If you want to get really deep into it, there are so many layers driving the problems - consumerism, fast fashion, social media - but ultimately the solution that I find has the best design integrity is circularity.”
Allbirds: It’s interesting that you began by talking about takeback schemes and looking at responsibility for a product’s end-of-life…
McLaughlin: “I just don’t believe that brands should be like, ‘We made all this stuff, you buy it and then it’s your problem.’ I don’t think that’s the way we’ll do it in future. I mean, that’s what we have been doing, as an industry, and look where we are. More accountability would change things. Thrifting and donating is awesome but people don’t realise how much stuff is sitting in warehouses and on palettes, or getting burned. I think new technologies and new materials are part of [the solution], but what are we going to do with all the stuff we already have? We need to change the way we think about trash.”
Allbirds: Where do think the big opportunities lie for shaping a different kind of fashion industry? What gives you hope and why?
McLaughlin: “I am super hopeful when I do my workshops. Honestly, the most inspiring thing is to see people come up with solutions and make them happen. You could sit in a board room and chat all day about 2025 and 2030, all the targets you want to reach, but to make something together, a physical, tangible thing, is to be like: this is possible!
“It’s been amazing to have some of these brand partnerships on the workshops too. So you’ve donated Allbirds stuff you don’t need as the base for a workshop. Or Adidas helped me host one in China, where we also had people bring in their own things, which was really good because thrifting culture in Asia is very different. There’s the language barrier, but design is a way to communicate without words.
“I’ve held workshops all over, some in the UK, and around the States. All kinds of people come from different backgrounds and skills levels, not just design students - teachers, hospital workers, it’s crazy! People can come with no experience and leave with something amazing. They’ll bring their own items from home that they don’t know what do with anymore, and we find ways to rework them. It’s a very intimate process, of going around learning about each person and what they’ve brought, and creating a project around that. The most inspiring is when they start to work together and give each other advice. I miss the pre-COVID physical events.”
Allbirds: What have 2020’s disruptions highlighted for you as a business?
McLaughlin: “I’m going to go back to that word: resourceful. I really had to use what I had. Some of my old projects I took apart and remade. I literally used kitchen items from my house. It was like going back to my early days of designing. You run out of white thread, you have to get around it.
“I also think this year has pushed me more on connection and communication, to bring people along. Even just taking the workshops digital. You don’t have to be a designer or be able to sew to make better decisions about what do with the trash that you have.”
Through Waves of Change, Nicole McLaughlin is supporting Sunrise Movement to fight the climate crisis, and The Okra Project, a collective that brings culturally specific meals and resources to Black Trans People.

Artist Spotlights!
🎤 _creativert_ 🥁 AbelDraws 🎷 Amaari
🎺 andiavang 🎸 Antonia
Interview below the cut!
Introduce yourself
🎤 HI! I'm a geeky, introverted artist who likes to explore many artistic mediums, but really only posts digital art. I kinda like to draw anything and everything, but recently I've been trying to focus more on my OC's! Besides art, I love reading, playing video games (despite the fact that I haven't played many recently) and I like writing stories too. In the future, I plan to create a webcomic story with my OC's. I hope you enjoy my work! Here's where you can find my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_creativert_/
🥁 Hi! I'm Abel. I'm a Design and Mech engineering student, but my passion is art. I love drawing and currently I'm working on my dream project, a comic named FIVE. This takes most of my free time, but besides that I'll be either rping, watching a movie with my friends, reading (usually webcomics) or listening to some tunes while charging my energy up. I preffer digital art over traditional, you can fix mistakes so very easily... I also get more freedom with a program than with the limited tools I own (and it looks way cleaner and nicer when I upload a digital pic than a traditional, but my photography skills are to blame there lmao)If you want to read my comic, it's up on tapas! https://tapas.io/series/FlVE But if you'd rather see some illustrations and doodles you should check my tumblr: https://abel-draws.tumblr.com/ 🎷 Hi! I'm an avid 3-d and 2-d idol fan as well as a bee fanatic!! Drawing/painting is mostly a hobby for me, but in the future, if time ever allows it, I'd like to sell every so often. My default medium is digital using program SAI but sometimes I'll pick up a pencil/watercolors for traditional pieces. If you'd like to take a look at some of my other works/doodles, my art twitter is here @ https://twitter.com/hiwamaari . 🎺 I’m predominantly a digital artist! But I also crochet, sew, and embroider! I’m Andiavang across all platforms! 🎸 Hi, my name is Antonia, I'm an artist who does traditional hand drawn art. I love to draw and listen to music, often in tandem with each other. You can find me on tumblr @chibiranmaruchan
Do you do commissions post? Where can we find the info?
🎤
🥁 https://abel-draws.tumblr.com/post/184015135166/commissions-are-open-i-renewed-my-commissions 🎺 https://andiavang.tumblr.com/post/186764888718/commissions-are-open-all-payment-through-paypal
Do you listen to music (or tv shows/films/anything else) when drawing?
🎤 Yes! I actually create a new playlist every month filled with songs that have recently come out, or new songs I found that I really like! Generally, I'll listen to music when sketching but once I get to the lineart and colors, I'll listen to podcasts. For podcasts, I really like story podcasts and true crime podcasts. A couple of my favorites are Crime Junkies, Myths and Legends, The Bright Sessions and The Edge of Sleep.
🥁 *Yes*. All the time. I don't usually watch shows while drawing because my atention is all focused on the piece at hand, so... I miss most of it x'D so I preffer listening to music by a mile. It also helps me get myself in a nice mood for drawing <3 🎷 I mostly listen to music, generally one song or album of whatever artist I'm vibing to at the time. Constant repeat lately has been Blackbear's Anonymous album and Mesemoas. 6th single, Crossing Threads. Solid 12/10 🎺 I mostly listen to music! Sometimes I listen to a Podcast instead 🎸 I do listen to music while I draw, if I'm on a tight deadline where I need to focus, I listen to the Pokémon mystery dungeon red and blue recuse team OST. If I have plenty of time to draw, then what I listen to depends on what I'm drawing. it may be where I am getting inspiration from or connected to the aesthetic of the drawing or directly connected to it.
What’s your favorite music artist/band? If you could ask your favorite band/music artist one question, what would it be?
🎤 Oohhh, this is pretty hard honestly. I don't really think I can choose a favorite, but no matter who I'd choose, I'd probably ask them who or what encouraged them to keep going along the path they chose.
🥁 Currently it's panic! At the disco, I'm listening to all their songs on loop constantly lmao. They have such great songs, they inspire me a *lot*. I even created a character based on one of their songs, he's the one I'll be drawing for this zine!:DI'd ask them about the meaning behing lots of their songs <3 The interviews at hand do not satisfy my curiosity enough lmao.I also love Halsey (her first album is my fave), Set it off, Maldita Nerea (a Spanish group) and plenty of musicals (Hamilton, Be more chill...) 🎷 I've so many favorite music artists its so hard to choose, but if I had to pick one, the male J-idol group ARASHI. And if I had to ask them a question, I'd ask them if they're happy and enjoying life well. 🎺 My fave band is Placebo! If hav to ask them what their inspiration would be for their early songs 🎸 My favourite artist is Hikaru Utada and I would ask her if she likes her pre-existing songs, some being based on her life, being used for kingdom hearts or if she would prefer to make songs specifically for the game, about the game itself?
Do you play an instrument? If not would you like to play one? Which one?
🎤  I have a guitar, but I'm still learning how to play that, and definitely want to dedicate more time to that in the future. I'm also kind of interested in learning the piano or violin!
🥁 Nope, but I *wish*, I have such admiration for people who do, seriously. Live music is the best. I'd love to learn how to play the piano, the guitar or maybe the ukelele... But I doubt I will, at least for now, my hands are pretty full with college and comic making. 🎷 I wish I could play the piano and any string instrument. Maybe violin or the harp. 🎺 I used to play the drums 🎸 I can play basic piano. I used to play a recorder when I was much younger.
Which song(s) are you going to draw?
🎤 Magic Island by TXT and Audio by Sia, Diplo and Labrinth
🥁 King of the clouds, by panic! At the disco. 🎷 To the Me of Those Days - KOKIA 🎺 Special K by Placebo 🎸 Sanctuary by Hikaru Utada & Slow dancing in the dark by Joji
What do you expect from this zine?
🎤 To see everyone create a work they're proud of based off of a song they like!
🥁 I just really liked the theme, I have all kinds of imagery and videos in my head about several songs I'm obsessed with. It's a nice excuse to draw a pretty, fleshed out illustration and to learn some new songs in the way from the others' pieces<3    🎷 To be introduced to many different genre's of music and to hopefully find a song/genre I didn't expect to like! 🎺 Mostly just to interact with different people and artists! Make same new friends! 🎸 I expect to see a wide range of music presented, of different genres and both lyrical and instrumental. I hope the music resonates with the individual, something they're proud to share with the other participants and the eventual readers. I would like to have a journey through the zine, experiencing different emotions from everyone's art pieces.
Anything else you want to add?
🎤 Everyone has been super nice so far, and I really look forward to seeing everyone's pieces!
🥁 Best of lucks to everyone participating! I can't wait to see everyone's pieces together :D 🎷 Thank you for taking interest in this zine!  All the artists have put in so much love into each of their pieces. It's been a pleasure to see so many different styles, their works-in-progress and I'm equally excited to see everyone's final product. I hope everyone is able to enjoy all the wonderful artworks being created and produced for all the songs being represented here when the zine releases.  ^^

Long-ish ramble below! I’m getting all sentimental and junk 😂
I made fanart of the week!! Which I’m still processing because WOW that’s a lot of serotonin in a time of my life where I’m not quite making so much on the regular
It’s funny, I started making critical role fanart almost exactly one year ago! (One year two days ago to be exact) I never anticipated I’d get drawn into this community as much as I have. I started drawing avidly in middle school, but by the time I’d reached college it’d tapered off a bit, and I didn’t feel motivated to try and learn more, or do better. “I’m getting an environmental degree, why are you trying to art all over the place?!” was a common self detrimental thought as I’d ‘waste time’ on drawing instead of more pressing matters.
In 2018 I applied on a whim to study abroad, not thinking I’d be much compared to the others trying to get into the program. Much like this fanart submission, I was in for quite a surprise when selected! I met so many great friends in Okayama, and even got sucked into a d&d group! I didn’t know much about d&d at the time, I’d listened to TAZ a bit while sewing. But my DM in Japan kept mentioning critical role, how cool it was, and “look they’re doing story driven improv which is what YOU like doing ok so plz be our DM I’m tired of doing this in English”. We watched Mercer’s dmtips, and we watched clips of memorable campaign 1 moments.
I’ll admit it, at the time I was intrigued, but also stressed and overstimulated from living life in a foreign country and taking 21 credit hours to cram over half my minor into one semester 😂 so I didn’t start listening to critical role really until early autumn, right as the pirate arc was starting. Listened to the first few eps on my drive from home to school, found it streaming by chance live on YouTube and was hooked ever since.
And like I said, I hadn’t been drawing much at the time. A bit here there, nothing consistent. But my interest was struck seeing all this fanart being down in the episode at breaks and at the beginning and end of the show. And then seeing that the players of this neat new show I’m watching will interact with the community with things like fanart or retweeting/commenting. And then I see cosplays, animatics, I see people inspired and people improving themselves for the love of this thing.
And I’m sitting over here like. Huh! Neat! So eventually I scribbled a little bit from an episode I’d just watched and posted bits, pieces, a little comic strip, and more pieces. Liam liked an early sketch of mine as I’m trying to figure out twitter, and it blew my mind! I’m watching this thing, and someone I’ve watched and enjoy knows a piece of what I put out exists! I’m over here making people happy! So I keep doodling, keep drawing, and experiment with digital painting a little. I even made a (shoddy) animatic one time
In doing this for funsies, but quickly enough I gained enough confidence to try and incorporate it into my major at school. I got my BS in Sustainable Development c/environmental studies...just graduated in May. In my last semester, I went bold with my capstone research and asked my thesis professor “hey, you said instead of the big big paper, it could be half length with an attached project? I’ve got a proposal for a comic.”
Now keep in mind, I’m not an art student. I don’t know what the heeeeeeeeeeeck I’m doing as I use bootleg software on an ancient laptop and a budget tablet. But I’m making art again, because this cool show keeps inspiring me to doodle and draw. I can literally say that thanks to critical role as my motivation and inspiration for drawing, I ended up making art that helped me graduate. I was also involved in a showcase and charity gala with my art. And I’ve got plans for a LONGER comic I’m still chipping away at that may or may not eventually find a home in children’s publishing. I’m happier than I’ve been in a while.
Critical role’s kept me company through some rough patches. Not the roughest or darkest I’ve been in, but still something that’s helping me keep myself rooted in the present. And I’m creating things. And making friends! Meeting so many new people online, I haven’t had a fandom community in so long, y’know? And I know that this show was the slingshot that got me in a state to see the value in my own creations. Making things and sharing them, getting reactions, inspiring people to make other things, we’re all growing together in this. And that makes it all the more exciting to venture out into more uncharted territory.
I’ve seen a few things of mine make the art reel, I made a couple of galleries, and this is the cherry on top, getting a few words on fotw that mean a lot to me. I’m encouraged to make more for this community, and to venture out into storytelling for my own things. And I’m halfway tempted to send a mushy “thank you for everything you create and share with us” email but I think they’re busy enough. Irl I’m more of a silent pep squad. But it means a lot to me.

Quick Statement From Stanza Part 2 - COVID19 Lockdown Stuff
I will make this in English rather than any other language, as the majority of my fans and followers speak it as their first language and it will be easier. To those of you already on lockdown, like myself (I am on day 12, a little ahead of most in this country due to coming in contact with someone who potentially has it), there are many things to help you work out your boredom. It is early days for some and some of you have been isolating for quite a while, either way don’t be discouraged! Thank you for following advice and doing your part! (Heck knows so many aren’t and are being selfish.) It can get lonely, or boring, so this is where I will try and help out with some ideas! Many of you are probably isolated from your loved ones and are finding it both sad and lonely. Some of you may have girlfriends/boyfriends, mothers and fathers, or just very good friends who you have no been able to see. I sypmathise entirely. I have not been able to see my mother, who is like a best friend to me, for weeks now and it is tough. However! We use messenger video chat twice a day to talk to each other. This is one way that we are beating the feeling of isolation. Why not try setting up a regular video call with your friends or family? If you don’t use messenger, why not try Skype or even Discord? Discord is easy to use and allows for video calls as well! If video is not an option for you, try to keep in touch using regular calls. Use messenger, or Discord as a way to just call people up. It’s free and you won’t rack up a huge phone bill as a result. As for activities, there are many options available depending on your capabilities. Take this time you have to try some of the following:
Learn a new skill - There are many resources out there to help you learn something new. Books available online PDFs, Youtube tutorials, you name it. The sky is the limit!
Draw things every day - Take this time to draw something ecah day. Even if you consider yourself unskilled, it doesn’t matter! Try using it as a creative outlet, maybe try drawing something each day you are indoors that documents how you feel and how you overcame it, or even just things that make you extremely happy.
Write! - This one is something I think people need to do more of and Tumblr is actually the perfect place to do it. Like the above suggestion, why not document how you feel, or write things you have always wanted to. Got a great idea for a story? Do it!
Cooking and baking - This is a great opportunity to learn how to cook/bake, or to create new recipes based on what you have in your cupboard. Sometimes coming up with new meals on a limited budget or limited cupboard stock can be tough, so lets get creative! I have been creating a lot of things from basic cupboard staples lately myself and it’s been super fun! If people want any advice on reducing waste and recipes, feel free to ask!
Exercise - Of course I’m going to talk about this. It would be weird for me not to, right? ;) Exercise is a very important thing during isolation. While we are allowed some exercise when in lockdown, it is not enough for your daily needs. This is why staying active indoors is a must. It not only helps your immune system, it also helps your mental wellbeing! There are many ways you can do this as well and you don’t need fancy gym equipment. Tinned goods can actually be used as light weights for you to hold, bags of sugar too. You can even create your own dance routines as you clean and cook! Maybe even set yourself a goal to do a set number of squats, or push ups per day!
Schedule - I know, I know. Some of you probably cringed at the word. I’m not a fan of schedules myself. (Shock horror!) But, this can actually be a big help. With a structured day you will find that, not only will you be more productive, but your days will be fulfilling and less boring. Start with your breakfast. (This is important! Don’t skip it! Even if it’s just a banana, or something small like a yogurt, don’t skip! COFFEE DOESN’T COUNT!) Schedule something light to begin with so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Maybe something like watering your plants, or taking out trash from the night before. That way you can build up your motivation. Then move on to something like the laundry or dishes, then as the day goes on make the chorse a little bigger. Have your meals at set times each day and train your body so that it expects them. Try not to miss any if you can. After each meal, scedule a lighter task and build up again. But, one important thing... Make sure to always schedule yourself your own free time to enjoy yourself! This is VERY important! Your mental health also relies on you to have fun and do what you love.
Some other misc ideas:
Make a list of things you want to do after this calms down. Now, we don’t know how long this is going to take, but I know plenty of people are doing this. This can be simple things like riding your bike in the park, to things like visiting that museum you always wanted to, or travelling to another country. Even something as simple as making more time for your friends and family. Make your lists (Keep it realistic, of course) and give yourself things to look forward to!
Join a Dungeons and Dragons session, or start one
Join an online craft club
Join an online book club
Grow some plants or even vegetables and fruit (I have potatoes that I will be planting soon myself!)
Read that book you’ve been putting off reading
Contact nursing homes to see if you can set up a video call with some elderly folks to help them while they are also isolated from loved ones
Play that game you’ve been wanting to but keep putting off
Paint something
Refurbish an old piece of furniture with a lick of paint or two
Get fit (See tips above)
Learn a new dance move each day
Learn a language
Learn a new word each day and try and use it (This works well with drawing and writing! You can base the art/writing around that word!)
Sew those darn clothes you’ve been meaning to repair for ages (Alternatively, learn to sew! It’s an important skill and helps make clothing waste less extreme when you don’t end up tossing that shirt that has a hole in the underarm.)
Photography! Photograph things in your environment. Document your isolation. Let the world see things in your life in new and interesting ways. (Obviously, stay safe and don’t identify anything too personal such as your address and street, etc.)
Make music! Learn to play an instrument, or make music if you already know how to play. You can even download programs to create music digitally! (I highly recommend Fruity Loops Studio if you can afford it! I’ve used it for years!) You can even collaborate with friends by recording your part, they record their parts and you can mix together to create something amazing!
Call your neighbors if you know their numbers. I’m sure they’d love the chat!
MOVIE MARATHON!
Quit something. Now is a great time to quit that bad habit. Whether it be just a bad habit you have like being lazy, or even something like smoking, alcohol, or even drugs. Why not make it your goal to come out of this clean and healthy and free of the things that hold you back?
OK I need to add some elf propaganda in here somewhere, so here we go. Try and make it your goal to include fruit and veg in your diet every day. See what creative ways you can include it, say hiding it in other foods, making brilliant new recipes or even smoothies!
Whatever you end up doing, stay safe, stay healthy and stay occupied. And if you feel down and lonely, remember that we are in this together. Just send a message! I’m always around!
I also have a Discord for anyone should they feel low and need the interaction. It’s full of decent people and even has an emotional support channel:

DTP Interview #6 Elbenherzart
Tumblr media
Hello to all our friends and followers of Daily Thranduil Project!
Today it’s @elbenherzart‘s turn for our fandom interviews. She is a really talented professional illustrator, who has produced many beautiful artworks inspired by the world of Tolkien. She works with traditional media as well as with digital ones and has a lot of other creative talents, like sewing awesome cosplays. I hope you are curious to find out more about her, so without any further delay, I present you here with her answers to the questions we had asked her:
General Questions:

Username(s) we can find you under:

Either ElbenherzArt or my real name, Christina Kraus. :)

What Media do you create?

For digital paintings I use Photoshop and for my traditional stuff mostly inks or ballpoint pens. I almost never use pencils, because I find myself erasing all the time.

Are you self-taught or did you go to art school?

I am mostly self-taught. Tho I have a bachelor degree in Intermedia Design. This gave me a few design and composition fundamentals I can apply to my images, but didn't teach me to draw or to paint. Also I have a lot of other professionals as friends who help me with critiques and reflection of my art. I always wanted to go to Art School but the programs in Germany are pretty shitty for it. All you learn is like drawing with a pencil bound to a stick, drawing with your not-drawing hand or drawing with a blind fold. It's complete garbage and I envy people who can afford programs such as the Swedish Academy of realistic Art where you actually learn useful drawing and painting fundamentals instead of fooling around.

Which artists have influenced your style?

That is a tough question. I admire a lot of artists but I guess my digital work is mostly influenced by Magic-the Gathering or Dungeons & Dragons artists, since this is the direction my work is heading too.

Which are your favourite artists?

I'd say Peter Mohrbacher, Jana Schirmer, Cynthia Sheppard, Jason Rainville...but hell, there are a lot. I can't pick a favourite.

Where can we find your work?

On my website, Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Deviantart, Artstation and on Behance.

What would you say you are best known for in the fandom?

I'm not even sure I'm known for anything in this fandom. XD But the work I did based on the Silmarillion so far sells the best on Conventions and I get the most comments on it.

Do you have a favourite pairing?

Yes of course, but it's kind of controversial I'd say. ;)

Do you have a favourite creation of yours you are especially proud of?

I'm kind of proud of my latest piece, Celebrimbor's Smithy. It was a tough one, since interior scenes are very hard in general for me. The work on this piece took a whole month with a few breaks of course.

Do you have a favourite fictional character, besides Thranduil of course?

That would be Kylo Ren/Ben Solo from the Star Wars Universe.

What other fandoms are you part of?

The Star Wars Fandom, tho I'm barely active there. I have a Tumblr blog dedicated to it, but I mostly just reblog stuff and did only one Star Wars related painting so far. The fandom is kind of toxic with its stupid ship wars and anti culture going on.

Do you do commissions?

 Yes. :)
Any advice/words for others in the fandom?

That is such a general answer, but stay true to yourself, do what you love and don't give others shit over characters/pairings you don't like. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Be kind and respectful, you don't know what people are going through.
If you are an artist, or want to be one; only self reflection, critiques and hard work will get you moving forward. You need to be able to see your own flaws.  For that you need to seek out people who can give you an honest opinion about your art. (Not your friends or family.)
Vanity is the downfall of every professional artist. You can be proud of your work, but never vain.
(You can always ask me for porfolio reviews or advice if you want by way. :))

Personal Questions:

Favourite Book?

The Silmarillion.

Favourite movie?

Currently Star Wars-The last Jedi.

Do you have a pet peeve?

Littering. When I see people throwing their trash onto the walkways or streets I get furious. Take it to the next trash bin or home! It's not difficult.

What country are you from?

Germany!

Who do you think you might have been in a past life?

Probably a cat. Sleeping and eating is all I want to do. :)

What do you like to do in your spare time other than create the media you work on?

When I'm not drawing or painting I'm either binge watching series on Netflix (currently Outlander <3)  or I'm with my friends/boyfriend. Sometimes I write Fanfiction, but mostly I'm reading it. I also try to travel as often as possible and sew my own costumes when time allows it.

When did you join the fandom?

I think back in 2007. Not really sure actually.  Definitely more than 10 years ago.
Follower Questions:
@floranocturna asked:
You are a very versatile artist and I have been admiring your very cool cosplays already for a while, especially your Celebrian and Celeborn are amazing! Do you sew all the cosplays yourself?

Thank you and yes, I sew them usually by myself :).
What inspires you to cosplay a specific character?

Honestly it's mostly the robes. If I like the aesthetic of a character, I want to cosplay him/her. XD Of course I also have an eye on the character and need to like him/her.

You are very ardent about being vegan. Will you tell us a little bit about your reasons and why is it important to you and should we maybe all think about how can we help to preserve nature instead of destroying it?

This is a loaded question and I'm unable to answer it with just a few words. Feel free to ignore this text if you are not interested.
As I learned that raising livestock for meat, eggs and milk generates 14,5% of global greenhouse gas emissions, the second highest source of emissions and greater than all transportation combined and that it's the leading cause of deforestation, biodiversity loss and water pollution, I knew that I had to act and change my diet, because I simply couldn't live with that knowledge and not doing something about it. And of course the killing of millions of sentinent animals every single day. The meat industry is the most powerful industry in the world and they try literally everything to make us continue to buy meat, to make it cheaper and to leave people in the dark about the consequences for our planet and our health. Here the Pharmaindustry comes in. The meat industry is their biggest customer (80% of their money is made from antibiotics they sell to farmers and animal factories) and sponsor, feeding billions of pills to animals each to day to alter their flesh. It's all about money, control and very fucked up. Like always.
If the grain that is used to feed our first world country livestock would be given to people in Africa or other third world countries where children starve to death, no one on this planet would need to suffer from hunger anymore. It's all pretty messed up and a paradox.
The only way of preserving nature in the long run is going vegan actually. I know that a lot of people don't like this thought, but that's mostly because they are misinformed (I was too, everyone is in the beginning) and fear either deficiencies or they think they can only eat vegetables and fruits. But that's not true. There are so many vegan dishes and sweets out there people are not even aware of. Oreos for example are completely vegan. A lot of junk food is. Cake, Ice cream and chocolat can be vegan too. It's all just a matter of replacing the eggs and there are plenty of alternatives. When people think about going vegan, they think about all the things they can't have anymore. Instead, think of the things you gain from it. You support the environment, save lifes and it's beneficial for your health. You are less likely to get cancer or diabetes. You don't have to give up your beloved sweets or junk food. I mostly eat the same things I ate before, just with egg replacement and almond or oat milk instead of cows milk. The only thing you have to keep in mind is B12. I take a pill everyday for it and you should too if your are vegan. If you do that you are completely safe and won't suffer any deficiencies if you live on a wholesome diet.
This wall of text may imply that I try to preach or what ever, but I simply state facts. It's up to everyone if they choose to act or not. I don't judge people for not going vegan. It takes a bit of effort, research and people will judge you for it. If you want to have more information I recommend the Netflix documentaries „What the health.“ and „Cowspiracy“. They are all based on researchable facts and explain a few statements I've given here. Also you might want to take a look at „Why we love dogs, eat pigs and wear cows“.

@beelovesbutterfly asked: First of all, thank you for sharing your lovely artwork. What is your favourite art medium?
@themirkyking asked: Which method of creating do you prefer? Digital or traditional, and why?
For my personal taste and fun I prefer traditional mediums. It's much more relaxing than digital art where I have to stare at a screen all day. Also I love the smell of paint and texture of paper. But for client work I definitely prefer digital since it's easier to change mistakes and I'm able to finish something faster. What makes the pay a lot better.
Thank you so much Christina for taking the time to participate in our series of fandom interviews for @dailythranduilproject. It was a pleasure having you!
Please check out Christina’s blog and her page at DeviantArt for all her awesome artwork! And if you happen to be in Cologne on May 12/13th 2018 you can go and visit her booth at the RPC Germany!
