It's nice to know that he is finally the first one to come home today.

He oftentimes comes home late due to some idol works and it always bothers him how you'd always have to wait for him longer than you should; it makes him feel guilty, really.

And to see that he has the apartment for himself, for now makes him quite relieved. But he does wonder where or what are you doing right now. Are you still at work? Are you on your way home? He hope it's the latter, but whatever, he'll wait. Just like how you'd always do for him.

And today, he bought you some takeouts of your favorite foods too!

As he sets the dinner on the table, he heard keys tingling from afar. Oh? You came sooner than he thought.

He heard the door being opened, but he didn't turn to look at you. "WelcoME home, koneko-chAN. I bought you your favorites fOR dinnER tonight." He welcomed your presence, yet he was still focusing on the dinner he had bought.

You were quiet, too quiet to be in fact. He remembers the last time he came home early; you literally tackled him into a hug. He was sure that today wouldn't be so different, so your quietness did rise suspicion in him.

He finally then turns around to look at you, shocked to see you to wear such a dejected expression. You don't look too good either in terms of physical appearance.

"WelcoME... Home...?" He repeated, tilting his head as the smile on his face turned into a frown when he sees you in such a discomposed state in appearance.

"Right. Uhm, thanks, Natsume. I really appreciate it." Your voice was stiff as you spoke all while taking off your shoes before walking into the apartment, giving him a peck on the cheek as per usual.

He would usually love your kisses, but today he knows something bothering you. He could pinpoint that it's due to work stress, but he doesn't know how to bring it up without fouling your mood further.

You smiled slightly as you see your favorite food on the table. "My favorite, huh? That's nice."

He coughed to his fist, clearing his throat as he smiles at you. "RigHT. ShaLL we eaT nOW?"

Dinner is quite awkward (for him). He should—he wants to ask you whether you're fine or not like a good boyfriend he is, but he doesn't want you to suddenly get mad at him or something.

So he just looks at you, his brows furrowed as countless of scenarios overlaps his head. Well, it can't be that bad, right?

"Natsume, you're staring."

"Sorry, I was tOO mesmerizED by your beauTY to the poiNT wheRE I couldn't look awAY."

"... Natsume." You looked at him dead in the eyes. He maintains eye contact for a while before signing, finally giving up.

And those tears were the only thing he needs to see in order to know whether it was great or not.

"S-shit. Sorry, I-I... Just..." You covered your face with your hands, desperately trying to wipe the tears off your face.

"It's alrigHT, would you liKE to talk to me aboUT it?" He asks, getting up from his seat to go right next to you.

He kneels on one knee on the ground, placing his hands on yours as he looks at you in the eyes, smiling gently at you; reassuring you that you aren't bothering him at all.

"I-it's..." You trailed off, tears falling down your face more.

You told him all about it, the things that bothered you at work, those annoying assholes who won't shut up; all of it, and he listens earnestly, hugging you gently if he ever sees you looking like you're going to cry once again.

Once you feel better, he'll give you a peck on the lips. "And isn't thAT bettER now you've gottEN all of it oUT of your systEM?" He asks, smiling happily.

"Yeah, thanks, Natsume..."

"No problem, Koneko-chan. I'm happy to heLP you." He said before kissing you on the lips once again.

HI ANON!!!! mako has been in my brain so much for the past few months; i just restrain myself from posting seven times a day and instead, i aggressively brainrot in my discord server with a single person in it. (it's me — i'm the single person)

i've been juggling a couple fics for ao3 on him lately (account, mostly atla writing), though tragically i've been at a bit of a writing block. it's probably from overthinking story structures, but trust that i'll get at least a couple of them out eventually haha. the main one is a post-canon fic called rose beds and gasoline veins at 11.9k as of now, followed by a silly 10-chapter 14-year-old-avatar!mako au called snowglobes don't shake on their own which i've spent some time casually outlining (featuring jinora and asami!). there's a post i spontaneously conjured up that would roughly act as half of the first chapter. i'll post the summary if you're curious lol

i've also got a couple random/short oneshots that i spontaneously wrote and completed, before promptly forgetting that i can post them, so… maybe i'll do that soon. one of them is a slightly different take on mako & bolin's family in ba sing se, on some of their cultural differences and traumas through hot pot (which i might expand into a longer oneshot on ao3 after i finish rose beds). the other one was initially a joke about him (who i like to hc as aro lol) accidentally being a really big fan of sex. it's very vague but it turned out kind of angsty in exploring how mako deliberately gives up control in an attempt to frame himself as his mother rather than the man who killed her (coping fr); it's not really up my usual alley, but i might post it somewhere sometime idk. i didn't ever really flesh it out in my head but i have some inklings for a mako & kai oneshot on forgiving yourself as a kid, a mako & lin beifong oneshot on his recruitment featuring better characterization than that spontaneous shitpost i made, and a half-written expansion of jobs in an actually comprehensible story-ish format focused more on pre-canon backstory of him and bolin. also, last night i kind of accidentally started an essay arguing the case of reading mako as "this is a male female character somehow", but that's a whole other brainrot. my friends think i'm insane for wanting to write an essay for fun :P

Okay a few things and I’ll go cause I literally- this shit-

Bakugou has had a long day at work. When he came home he literally ate so much food you had cooked from him that the smell of food makes him sick. Afterwards he took a hot ahh bath and right when he laid in y’all’s bed and did that feet rub thing everyone does he was fucking out.

A few hours later he would hear crumbling a first he thought it was just the cat coming to bed but then he heard it again and it sounded like plastic. He swears to fucking god if that fat old bastard got into some FUCKING food or weird ass international snack you eat from your home country and gets sick and he has to rush him again to the vet ER he’s gonna kick YOURS and THE CATS ass. His bright red eyes would be glaring at the dark wall in front of him and he would look on his night stand to see it’s 2am- he has to be up in 2 hours.

He was ready to grab that bastard and throw him downstairs until he hears the bed shift and causes him to jump. He’s whip around so fast that it scares you and you’re looking around asking him what’s wrong and did someone break in or something?? i havent been able to respond and interact with all ur posts since im not home atm but im sitting in hotel room bed writing this rn so! i have found my way to your other account tho😈 so im gonna write a little rant i hope you dont mind (even tho thats kinda what the account is made for, i still feel weird doing it!!) so feel free to ignore i just reallt want rant!

also wanna start it off by saying i hope youve been doing well and the college stress isnt affecting you too much!!

okiiii so anyway its my birthday tofay 😜😜 and for my bday weekend we went to chicago since its pretty close to where i live and i thiight it would be fun but sometjkng about me is just that i hate being away from home like idk i just love my room so idk why i wanted to do thid for my bday but ANYWAY.

friday and saturday were oretty fun even tho its so cold out but ive had an overall good time! the obly downside is my DAD bro. i dont think hes ever experienced true happiness in hus life bc if any tiny bad thing happens he gets so MAD and for NO REASON. i try to stay happy but its literally such a mood killer like how am i supoosed to enjoy my time wjen ur over here bitching and complaing about not getting the corner booth like. get over pls shut up i wanna be happy.

and then today i thoight we were gonna go to this museum and then meet up with my brither to go to the sears/willis tower but it got completely changed and i was so confused and we didnt do anytbing k wanted to do that day. like i wanted kbbq as my bday dinner like it was the MAIN reason i wanted to go to chicaho but they switched uo and said it was too far away. like okay then… im like fine whatever just choose some place else bc idk what i want and i dont wanna decide and THEY KEPT ASKING ME AND BOTHERING ME LIKE PLS LEAVE ME ALONE. and then we were just walking around everywhere trying to fund a place to eat and i was getting annoyed so i just said olay i wanna go here, AND THEY JUSR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE EVEN THO THEY WERE ASKING ME WHERE I WANTED TO GO??? pls.. jusg make up ur mind. and then when we finally got to a place bc i was like yall im tired lets just go to fresking shake shack they starting bitching about the prices and i get we dont have a lot of money but it just made me feel so guilty??

anyway i felt way better bc me and my cousin started making fun of my dad so i felt 10x #wcousin😇

now im in the hotel room listening to my dad snore SO FREAKING LOUF LIKE HOW AM I GONNA SLEEP.

my dad is, from the sound of it, very similar to your dad. and i've grown to kinda just throw it back at him. it took years of warming up to it, but now i just treat him the way he treats us and he shuts up real real quick, ya know?? anyways, im so so sorry that he was being sucky (again kill all men) and you totally didn't deserve that!! wishing you a better birthday for next year!!
