OKAY I DID AN ELDRITCH VERSION OF MARIA TOO. I really like how she came out in this one. (hehe angels is birds. also i can't imagine how she preens herself in this form. it's gotta be a bitch to deal with that many feathers)

i finally finished alternate outfit designs for my ocs :) well these five at least lol

ill put the individual frames under the cut!

#finn's ocs #i think tumblr sort of made the drawings a bit blurrier so its harder to see some details like saiphs scars or miras stretch marks... sad!#hopefully clicking on it solves that?#anyway i ended up doing the pjs after all bc i figured messy hair would be fun to do #and if i was going to put saiph in underpants anyway it would be funny to do like. the cartoon heart boxers but w fire lol #the formal looks were fun to do though. you can tell al's is like totally inspired by utena's look in aou #there are for sure through lines i wanted to keep w all their outfits like in general #aside from just keeping the same colors and general style #like mira always has like a cold shoulder look and tends to have somekind of asymmetry towards the bottom #except for her formal look for the latter #saiph always wears those wrist things no mater what. also he always has somekinda flame pattern #polaris either has snowflakes stars or compasses ofc. and if she has somekinda skirt the red will be Under it #bella has the same skull design on her bows. except for the pj look where now the skull itself is wearing a bow #and al has the stars on the strings and mismatched shoes #the most similar outfits are the summer/spring and winter/fall ones #those are pretty much default outfits so thats why #and their hairstyles in the winter/fall looks are like just slightly longer versions of their summer/spring styles #they dont really change hairstyles for the beach and pjs aside from the long haired characters pulling them up different #or putting them down for the pjs look. in bellas case #their formal look probably has the most difference in hairstyle. like theyre not just grown out or pulled back #theyre like actually styled different #these arent their final looks btw there are like completely different timeskip designs too but like #id have to use different bases for those probably. there would be changes LOL #but yeah :)#finn's art #forgor that one

HI HUNTER !!! sooo glad u enjoy my art i am honored . . . . for the aggie sketch i . i honestly just picked up this reference pic from pinterest xD literally spent an hour before the aggie planning that sketch out, searching for other pieces that had a sorta soft and sweet vibe and leaving those open alongside the ref so i can "Absorb it into my brain"

for tips regarding poses and expressions... IM JUST REALLY PICKY WHEN PICKING OUT REFERENCES TBH 😭😭 Like i wont stop searching until it fits the mental image i have and until it has the feelings im trying to convey in the piece . i also frequently use statues as inspiration too ig . went ham with explaining my thought process in the tags btw i got shyyy ^_^

Well, I'm into the Stormblood endgame... Ostro's been through a LOT this expansion, bless him. It's definitely been the one so far to affect him the most, emotionally- he's gone through what I affectionately refer to as his Depression Arc. But, he's here. He's mostly overcome it, with the help of his friends. And now he's ready to go storm an imperial stronghold.

Through it all, he's settled into Red Mage as his main job- (although, im going to keep playing the others, obviously. I'm not every single healer and magic dps class for nothing, lmao) and I think it suits him.

Every second of every day I remind myself that I'm going to need to learn to draw gore and body horror and every second of everyday I simply keep imagining it instead of drawing it because I don't even wanna try finding usable refs for the shit I wanna pull off (it also doesn't help that searching up refs for skinless human anatomy is. Annoying to do if you wanna draw someone who isn't made of muscle and nothing else)

#rat rambles #there's also just a lot of stuff that I just sorta. cant find refs for just due to the nature of the image in my head #but yeah I know I can probably find the refs I properly need somewhere out there but its going to be a nightmare for me I hate finding good #reference photos for tings especially when it comes to anything gore or scar related #but yeah au snek you bastard I will draw you some day #she isnt helping me much by having fun bone body horror too :/#and then theres all the other snake stuff I want her to do thats going to be a whole other journey to learn to draw #but that one isnt as bad because it's much easier to find photos of snakes doing goofy snake stuff #aka anytime they use their mouths to do anything ever theyre so silly #au snek is also silly if you ignore the horrors #shout out to her for being the only one of the au antags that wasnt saught out for attempting to/succeeding at destroying their universes #although thats mostly just because snek is tied to physical matter which means that she has less of an inhernet connection to the stuff #pretty much everyone else does abt their universes #au snek was somewhat unique amongst sneks tho in that shes easily one of the most powerful sneks #these guys get a bit closer to the greater power of the function theyre tied to each time they die you see #and au snek has died a Lot #more times than everyone else in the au antag squad combined #which tbf isnt actually saying a lot most of them never actually died that many times if at all #owl for example probably never died herself. all her power came from her consuming her original universe #similar with mase but he might have died at some point idk #and while Id normally say tali is a similar case given the universe she came from shes probably died a fair share of times #and au bloom probably died like once or maybe twice if Im being generous #au fydd didnt die at all hes just built like that #and au aris only died once but her power again comes from her original universe aka uni hi uni #now Id have to do some math to figure out how many times au snek died but I dont wanna do that since itd be kinda complicated #but just trust me she died a lot and her friends also died a lot except for her brothers who only died once since they dont get revived #long story short: they stopped being supplied food

Finally updated my headcanons for the main Ninja's appearances ♡ The ones from last year looked ew to me so this was overdue.

Lloyd: I know he doesn't have curly hair, but I was unhappy with the way I drew it before so I tried something different and really liked this so I stuck with it. Light freckles, scars too obviously. The little braid is a personal touch of mine representing a connection to my OC hehe

Nya: the markings from her Ocean form were so pretty I had to keep them faintly, and the blue streaks in her hair seemed fitting too. Also a small nose piercing because she would. I love giving her turquoise colors too. Round face features

Kai: his spiky hair is always a challenge so I tried finding a way that's easier for me to draw. I love giving him a mullet too. Slightly crooked nose, sharp features overall & moles. Lotsa ear piercings. Tattoos probably as well

Zane: the most fun to do, his robotic features give a lot of freedom to work with. Making his hair half dark half white was a random idea but I love it now. Straight and angular features

Cole: wider face and body shape, long scar from his forehead down to the eye. I gave my best drawing dreads for him and I think I did well. Orange-green eyes from his ghost phase. Oh and a slight stubble, I thought it fit him well. Originally wanted to give Kai one too, maybe next time

Jay: saw a cosplay of him with this lightning scar across his face and I loved it so much I took it over. Also heterochromia for him, it just feels right. Lots of freckles, super fluffy hair. One hair streak looks like a lightning bolt. Soft shapes and features

Ninjago OC yeaahh ♡

Nemari: Sharp jawline, pointy chin and nose. Very light freckles, big scar on right shoulder. Pointy ears, few ear piercings.
