I think when they have free time, the bad kids take riz to really high places and let him jump and fly with his glider angel wings. Like a sugar glider

we dont talk nearly enough about the fact that kim kitsuragi wanted to be a pilot, before realizing that his home country does not, in fact, have an air force. And yet he still wears the cunty revolutionary bomber jacket (i like to think for his younger self)

Honestly.
I kind of am tired of how Sky is leaning towards near gacha like games without the gacha aspect.
I'm in a timezone where most of the 'friends' I make are never online or if they never really want to warp to me to hang out no matter how many times I go to them.
Everything is just cosmetics cosmetics IAP etc. I was nigh desperate to complete Season of AURORA because I knew I wanted the cosmetics but literally 3 days in I hadn't opened the app again until the concert came, and even then I've only come online for that concert once, and never again.
I realised that for other cosmetics I really really wanted in the past and got them after saving up in game- I haven't worn them since.
Everything is just getting so expensive and they're really pushing FOMO with the AURORA season I think at least since the cosmetics will never be returning again.
The prices keep hiking and for casual players your stuck with bland, bland cosmetics. Nobody wants to play with me so it gets boring, since everyone is speeding to get their candles I haven't had fun stranger interactions the entire year where I used to have lovely interactions with other strangers nigh daily. I feel so alone in Sky.
So yeah. If only it weren't so focused on pushing cosmetics with IAP prices or making the prices so ridiculous you can only get it with grinding for candles daily, I would've probably not have gotten burnt out as I am.
I've been in Sky since 2019, but I can't recognise the game anymore that I used to love.

Hi Alex! I was wondering, since there's leviathans of all fuck off sizes, are there other species in this world? Like Wyverns that can fly above and swan dive to say hi to their leviathan buds?
Hiya! There arent any dragons if that is what youre asking, nor any other massive species.
Besides the leviathans and all the regular sealife, fauna in CD is mostly avian (primarily seafaring birds and jungle fowl on the islands)
There are some bigger birds around but they are nowhere near as big as the leviathans are. I think the max size for birds would roughly be around cutter class sized (the smallest leviathan class), and those DO dive for fish like ospreys, though leviathans might chomp at them if they get too close (the same would happen with wyverns too)
----
As a note, there's a non-lore adjacent reason for it too, it's that I do not want the focus to shift away from the ocean and the leviathans. If I made giant flying things there would have to be logistics around that and I would not want them to interfere with what I already have.
Though now that I'm thinking about it, it could be really swag to have hunters who ride on big birds (I am immensely biased), though as much as I like it idk if I can make it work without pulling too much focus from the CD vibe haha

Ant
"Dear Hylia, they look like ants from all the way up here," Wild marveled, the wind whipping through his hair with enough force that Sky was sure that his hair band would fly down to the surface. He had been the most enthusiastic to ride with him on his loftwing, commenting that he had ridden on the backs of large birds before.
"Hold on tight, we're gonna dive at them," The Skyloftian grinned and braced himself under his steed's massive feathers, Wild laughed with the same touch of insanity that flavored Sky's smile.
"I knew you had it in you," The champion commented as his hold around his companion tightened in anticipation of the oncoming feeling of weightlessness, they only had time for one more steady breath before the only thing keeping them together was Wild's arms.
