i have... a penchant... for getting really into books which are out of print. not cause they’re like first editions or collectibles or whatever the fuck (i went to an antique book show recently and was SO pissed there was like 50 Alice in Wonderlands, but no 1900 printed french books you couldn’t even find in pdfs online... in fact, no foreign language books at all what the fuck :c... and 2 gone with the winds, 50 lord of the rings... like i get it, the target audience of an antique show is maybe? idk people collecting expensive books? but for me? the point was to find out of print old books that may never have been digitized. thank the universe for archive.org there’s so many 1800s learn japanese, 1900s learn chinese books with different versions of romanization and then later different amounts of character simplification, theres the ‘nature method’ textbooks that i’ve only seen back in print very recently and only for a few languages and probably only cause nerds like me can’t shut up about them, there’s so many BOOKS i’m into that just... :c good fucking luck finding them if not for the kind efforts of archivists or random chance)

I do keep getting frustrated at the game though because all my teams have Barbs and Sim in them, which allows me to see them consistently, but I always have to find a third guy to fill the last spot, and I don't really want any of them rn. I really wish I could put Mephi there?

It's impossible to see him through daily gameplay. I have to reread the same like 5 devlgrms just to see him. I want Mephi on my teams. I'm bored of not being able to see him and having some filler guy there instead.

(Context for non-obey players, after you finish a battle there's a little minigame where you can gift/pet the characters to raise intimacy and I basically wanna do that with Mephi but that doesn't exist in the game)

The “bad” and realistic rant: With all this bickering about becoming a “proper” woman pushed by society today, you have to realize what they wish are women to be subservient to “traditional” roles like in the “old days”. Unfortunately, the idea of becoming a “proper” woman is also seen in some of these blogs in a different manner. We see it all the time in posts about leaving our old selves for a new, feminized self.

Here’s the thing, dysphoric reader: if you see a girl in your reflection or you feel like there’s a girl hidden inside you, you probably are a girl in spirit and may even be a transgender girl. However, don’t become someone you’re not. Just because most caption posts talk about “taking it like a girl” or “go all out at girl’s night out” doesn’t mean we’re all like that. Yes, girl’s night sounds like fun. But sometimes, games’ night sounds so much better. Maybe you love alt rock or trap instead of pop and top 40 crap. You’re probably more of the casual baggy jeans and an old, loose t-shirt type on most days. But on special days, you would probably wear something like on the caption pic!

Be your own girl. Feminization will come naturally to you. Don’t cave in to outdated beliefs. We’re in the “future” as they say. It’s important to balance the feminine with some of the masculine. Ted (IHNMAIMS) x Female! Reader romantic headcanons Summary: Romantic headcanons of Ted and female! Reader Warnings: talk of outdated ideas (just feminine ideas but nothing extreme), basic IHNMAIMS violence (references to AM's torture, possessiveness on Ted's end. Word count:874 (pretty sort sadly) ˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖

Any feminine presence outside Ellen isn’t common in the group, so you being a part of the group and staying with Ted is what he takes pride in. He’s got a lovely lady he gets to kiss and keep for himself that treats him well. He’s never been more grateful for someone in his life since you said you reciprocate his feelings.

The group also sees your love as a benefit, Ted shuts the fuck up more often now that you’re on his arm. He doesn’t go on as many rants about his hatred for all of them since you just kiss him, and he gets quiet from embarrassment.

Ted would view you as an angel if you’re a lot kinder than he is, not only because of his insanely religious ideas, but because that’s what AM will try pushing in his mind. It’s more likely because the AI wants to see if you’ll lose feelings for Ted if he’s beyond clingy.

Religious ideas definitely have an effect on him, especially with AM fucking him over. The religious ideas would be so much worse in the relationship, the idea you’re an angel would become worse. Worshiper ideals. But that worship from him to you won’t fly with the AI, if anything, it’ll cause him to be more inclined to hurt you.

Speaking of clingy, it’s to an insane extent. Ted is always sleeping next to you or in your arms, holding your hand on the journey for the canned peaches, and sobbing in your arms when he sees fit for a good cry. Ted isn’t extremely pleased at the idea either, usually trying to push away before that lost dog mindset sets in. Open your arms and he’ll go back eventually. You make him so soft! How cruel you are!

Unironically, it’s a “us against the world” sort of thing for Ted, and he’s right to an extent. AM is against you, the others don’t care (meaning for Ted: they want to take you away), and he believes it. If anything, it won’t make him better with relationships, he’ll be insecure and he’ll say you’re trying to leave him too. It’ll cause him to hold you a little closer at night.

He’s gone so long without real romantic love to the extent he is so desperate for nice lady touch. As much as he denies it, he’s desperate for a feminine presence (which plays into his lost dog habit of following you). Ted will also keep you very close.

When Ted is tortured, he’ll go crawling to you again. Not only because he genuinely wants you to take care of him but because you’re so soft. He knows for a fact you’ll help him, going into your arms will be met with kisses and soft touches, a great contrast from the usual treatment from AM.

As little as his family life affects him under AM’s hold, he’ll be a husband for you. Ted will do things for you a husband would: being soft to you, saying nice things (when he isn’t having bouts of anxiety), and pulling you along when AM gives him delusions again. Don’t worry though, he’ll hold you real tight just so you feel better.

If you’re a lot more feminine, he’ll view you as needing protection (what do you expect he grew up in the 50’s/60’s). Ted will keep you in the center of the group with Ellen, keeping you close but not close enough for discomfort.

If you ever find a way to get something as minute as makeup, give him kisses with lipstick on, he likes knowing you left a mark. Not only to taunt the others about having a lover, but also to know you like kissing him.

Calls you his wife so the others know you’re his. It’s met with laughter and taunts from AM since he thinks marriage is an entire joke in the first place and will mock you with it. “You must be such a pretty wife to Ted if he goes out of his way to say such nice things about you,” AM would muse. Of course, Ted didn’t take it too seriously, he knew AM said that sort of stuff whenever he felt fit.

“You’ll stay my wife forever, right?” Ted muttered; the rest of the group having gone off to sleep. You sat against one of the deckplates, holding his head against your chest. His grasp on your body got tighter, making you slightly uncomfortable but you knew it wasn’t his fault for all of his worries.

“Of course,” you nod, brushing his hair from his face to kiss his forehead. 

On the journey for the canned peaches, he’ll mutter about how sweet it will be. He’ll feed you the peaches and get to see you smile a bunch, not just because he kissed you, but from genuine happiness. He’ll start thinking of ways he could turn it slightly romantic, hoping his anxieties don’t get the best of him and he tries running off with you, coming back just to find the peaches eaten up.

At the end of the day, Ted is anxiety filled and knowing you’re there to hold his hand helps just a little bit more.

heres some passing thoughts ive had of him:

the knife sunny carries around is omori

but in a very odd way

sunny thinks he is omori but can also communicate with omori like another entity, the best way to discribe it is like sunny belives omori is his consious/soul telling him what to do, and is also therefore himself

and that his consious/soul has possessed the knife

this line of thought makes no sense because sunny fucking insane and this is all in his head

sunny cuts

when he is unable to sleep he takes it out on himself,

he also does this as an endurence test,

thinking if he can show no emotion during the cutting then that somehow validates him

also in phycosis he cuts to try and make life,

being that any part of omori can create beings, sunny makes very sloppy paper versions of his friends and tires to use his blood to get them to animate

this doesnt work

sunny also shaves with his knife

he uses his standard kitchen knife to cut off chunks of head hair when they get too long

and uses a very dulled (slightly rusty) razor along with water-diluted shaving cream (like how people mix water with soap to perserve it) to keep himself hairless

he sometimes gets so anyoyed he'll spend hours nonstop plucking every hair he can find off of his body

he hates the feeling of hair, he hates looking at hair, he hates hair

doesnt seem to mind rw kels hair tho

sunny hates taking baths of any sort so he will just soak a rag in water, sit in an empty tub, and wash with the rag, he uses diluted hand soap as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash

sometimes he'll fall asleep in the tub , and upon waking and realizing hes in the tub will start screaming and kicking and flailing in unimaginable distress, thinking hes submerged in water and actively drowning

sunny hoards, he hoards anything he can find

he keeps cat food containers and empty bottles, he keeps all the hair he cuts off and all the dandruff that falls from his skull

sunny has always been sort of a hoarder but it was only taken to the extreme within the timespan of his isolation

sunny hoarded beanie babies, and rocks, and cool pens before this, and occasionally would hold onto wrappers

taking any of this from him then would result in crying

taking anything from him now would result in stabbing, unless you take his knife, then he'll just colapse on the floor

sunnys phone died a long long time ago, the eletric bill hasnt been payed in a while so chargers dont work

his phone is also sevearly outdated , being he got it at around 10 and was suppoed to get a new one at 13

kel still sends messages to sunnys phone, sunny has looked through all of the ones he could before his phone died, and claws his hair out dying to know what the rest of the messages say

the last thing sunny did on his phone was take an "am i gay" buzzfeed quiz, he didnt get to finish it before the phone died, but he was picking VERY gay options

he only has his house phones which kel does sometimes leave voicemails on

sometimes in an act of rebelion against omori, sunny manages to break free from omoris manipulation and call kel on his home phone

these calls dont last long, and sunny has never spoken throught he phone, just sits and listens

sunny has ocasionally even attempted to call aubrey or hero and even tried mari, theyve never picked up, esspecially mari

sunny tries to mimic normal behavior, such as attending school,

he has no idea what highschool would teach him though, so he prestends to have a class in omorology , with a major in stabbing things

sunny hates the feeling of clothes, he used to be fine with it but hes grown to absolutely hate pants and shoes, even some shirts

sunny bites his nails eccesively, and his toenails, and bites the skin around them

sunny celebrates his birthdays mainly in headspace but if he so happens to be awake on them he'll make himself a cat-food cake and put pencils and pens in the top as candles

he's also rewarded with being alowed to *very risky* unlock the sliding glass door (not open it) and look outside

do not tell kel this information , he'll be clammering to that door faster than the speed of light

sometimes sunny has dreams that do not follow the headspace naritive, some about the real world

in one dream he was kel inside sunnys house, trying to look for sunny, who was outside

in another, sunnys house had a small coraline-esque door that lead all the way to kels home, but in the middle of the hallway connecting the two homes, was a room that had yellow cigarette stained walls, a bowl of fruit, and a small wall-mount tv on the ceiling playing blues clues,

to which then sunny promplty forgot he was going to kels, and just sat eating the fruit and watching blues clues

one had aubrey being the one knocking, and kel being stuck in some baseball court that was also like a food court at a mall, slowly drowning in ketchup, hero was also there but he was inside sunnys house and telling him not to worry about kel because "he has the newest iphone, which has teleportation"

and in another, the entire earth became sentient and was going to kill them all, and the only way to save everyone was to wake up, but when sunny realized this he became lucid,

and when he became lucid it just so happened that kel was suddenly there and cuddling him while they both died, also for some reason sunny was the president of the US

hes had multiple dreams about eating cactuses with the spikes where still on them, oddly, he really really wants to do this but has no idea why

sunny also had a dream that he was just a conecpt inside the mind of some 15 year old on a mystical app called "tumblr",

this dream was so weird he woke up screaming and then vomited and passed out again
