إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ" وَالنَّهَارِ لآيَاتٍ لِّأُوْلِي الألْبَابِ

الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّهَ قِيَاماً وَقُعُوداً وَعَلَىَ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا

خَلَقْتَ هَذا بَاطِلاً سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ وَمَا

لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ

رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلإِيمَانِ أَنْ

لاَ يَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي الْبِلادِ

مَتَاعٌ قَلِيلٌ ثُمَّ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ

لَكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلاً مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ وَمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّلأَبْرَارِ

The prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite these verses upon waking up at night, before night prayer: "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding * Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire..." Hmmm. I'm not actually sure, I'm usually not exploring them and they kind of blend together eventually, but I have a few really remarkable ones.

I elect to count the Vortex World as one, obviously, hellhole sweet hellhole.

That one Earth with the Demon Busters, two.

That time Lucifer got pissy, almost killed me, and I ended up with that ghost guy in an Earth with Tokyo under a dome, three.

That world with the blue guy I bullied the hell out of! That was pretty cool, did that twice at least. Four and five. Would still love to talk with him eventually.

The world I ended up in after I got lost in the Amala Network, with those demon transformation weirdos! That was fun, had a great time kicking the shit out of those guys, their leader was a good sport after the third time I used Gaea Rage over his Null Attack equipment to kill his whole party, finally took it off, had a good battle. Six. Left those guys a gift, actually.

And now this one!

Plus however many I passed through that I don't remember because they were boring and all the times I ended up in boring worlds on repeat visits to bully increasingly boring devil summoner generations.

Full Name: Raymond Edith Charlton-Misaki Gender: Female (She/Her) Race: Worgen Class: Druid Specialization: Feral Orientation: Lesbian Relatives: Faye Misaki (wife), Lancelot Wyrmbane (adopted son), Maxwell Irves (adopted brother/ex-brother-in-law) Age: 30 Height: 7'7 (5'11 Human form) Theme: Darkside - Neoni Voice Reference: Zira - The Lion King II: Simba's Pride STORY: Raymond lived a very short and early portion of her childhood in the small town outside the Greymane Wall known as Pyrewood before moving into the city to Emberstone Village with her mother, Celene, and her father, Michael. Michael and Celene's marriage was far from a perfect one. Michael, a high-ranking rebellion leader in Gilneas, was often caught up in his political work, assuming his main purpose in life to be revolution via ruthless takeover and often drifting away from his wife. Raymond, however, was his baby girl, and he ensured to keep a good connection with his daughter. Somewhere along the way he ended up drunk after fussing over his work for days and found himself in bed with a random woman, which would eventually result in a bastard child. This broke Celene and Michael's relationship entirely, however the two swore to keep their issues secret from Raymond in order to attempt to ensure a happy childhood for her. However, Michael was found out for his crime of treason and was taken by authorities after attempting to hide with him and his family in the Emberstone mine. He was beheaded via guillotine publicly after being sentenced to such by Gilnean nobles. Celene nor Raymond attended the execution, but the event scarred Raymond permanently regardless.

Growing into her teens Celene was a gentle, patient, and caring mother to Raymond. Ray eventually tried to bring home a boy but quickly cut things off under the realization she was a lesbian, and received a large amount of support from Celene. She'd then find a girlfriend instead and things were, for the most part, good. Celene had slowly grown to feel guilty over her and Michael's failing relationship now that he was long dead and had begun to denounce the fact that he had ever done anything wrong, raising Ray to believe her father's political efforts to be that of a saint. Eventually, the Worgen attacked Gilneas, and Ray--who had always been into nature and loved animals, even owning a cat named Amala--was ambushed and bitten by her mentor at the age of sixteen. Upon regaining her consciousness with the help of Krennan Aranas's alchemy she returned to her home--now relocated near the road leading from the Greymane Wall, not too far from the Cathedral--which was now blasted into smithereens by the onslaught of the Forsaken, an entire troop of Sylvanas's Undead swarming her former house. Upon further investigation, Raymond soon learned they had killed her mother and her cat and, in a burst of rage, slaughtered each and every one of them on the scene--and then immediately signed up for the war effort against the Forsaken. She found her girlfriend dead soon after via suicide as a result of the war plaguing Gilneas.

Raymond was not immediately granted a place in the army, of course. She was sixteen. But with enough desperation--and enough of a firey teenage girl nagging some generals--she got in, serving in Duskhaven to evacuate citizens from the collapsing earth as a result of the Cataclysm. One of her fellow soldiers was a warrior named Kana Choi six years older than her, who she formed a good friendship with, and the two saved each other multiple times--a notable point being where Kana slashed through enough Forsaken to save Raymond and pull her out of a filthy ditch. They went their separate ways after they evacuated Gilneas as well, but they formed a mutual respect for one another.

Raymond's years in-between then and her early-to-mid-twenties were not much by her own standards. She did missions for the Alliance enough for them to consider her someone who's back they'd reciprocate scratching, but she more or so did it just to pass the time. When Gilneas had begun to be repopulated--moreso by the demand of former residents rather than an order from the Alliance of even Greymane himself--she saw opportunity. She adored her homeland and was ecstatic to return to it, but there was just one *small* problem.. the nobles.

The nobles of Gilneas had always been a plague on her life, she believed, after Michael's death. The monarchy had no place in Gilneas--these fake ones anyway, playing castle in Greymane Manor and pretending to be in charge of things they refused to fix. They were as corrupt as ever.. and she was going to fix that. Gathering her father's leftover ammunition and papers she reflected him in almost every aspect. His obsessiveness, his calculating mind, his snarky demeanor, and his brutality. Anyone who stood in her way would fall before her bloody dagger.. but the nobles got the royal treatment of being ripped apart with feline claws and fangs. She had become a hunter, a predator, and would stop at nothing to see every single one of these pitiful, imaginary "monarchies" fall.

...In the process, she stumbled upon one Razael Angura--known at the time as Wrex--who possessed demonic magics beyond the fel demons of Azeroth. She also met Maxwell Irves along the way, a death knight and former Greyguard commander who was at first loyal to the nobles for the sake of a job, but pleasant enough once she actually took the initiative to strike up a conversation with him. Soon, her circle would grow into RoC (Reign of Chaos, though there was a running joke of what "RoC" actually stood for [Reins of Chaos, Rain of Chaos, Rise of Champions, etc]) (Ray had wanted the acronym to spell out "PUSSY" instead, but Max told her no), a group started by Maxwell but the leadership handed to her. In return, Raymond immediately appointed Maxwell as her second-in-command. This group word forge with another group Raymond had called GWaCA (or Guild Without a Cool Acronym) consisting of some other friends she had met along the way--Felshredder, a snarky demon hunter looking to find himself after the burning of Teldrassil, Frost, a Kaldorei death knight who was loveable but a little slow, Pan, a cheery, kind-hearted Pandaren monk from Binan Village in Kun-Lai, Yama, a mysterious, sort of anxious Pandaren mage with a talking staff on her back named Aluneth, and Blue, an anti-social but loyal Rangari Draenei who had an incredible soft spot for animals. Together, they formed SotF--or, the Shadows of the Faithful.

This group became Raymond's *life.* She slowly lost her lust for blood and recognized the important things in existence were life itself--such as her adopted son, Lancelot Wyrmbane, who she had taken in on a whim after noticing him struggling and appointed as third-in-command. She elevated his rank to second and demoted Maxwell to third--not because of any hard feelings, but because she knew Lancelot would be the better choice for being a leader if anything were to ever happen to her. Maxwell and Lancelot both accepted this with grace. She also met Faye Misaki along the way, the daughter of an honorable grandmaster, whom she found charming, entertaining, adorable.. needless to say Ray fell hard and fast, and though a little awkward at first due to her past relationships either ending tragically or being temporary, transactional agreements resulting in some psycho bitches, Faye changed Raymond's outlook on romance entirely. Ray was complete and happy.

...However, over time, things would start to go awry. Namely a woman named Veronica, who was the daughter of two nobles Raymond had previously killed--Judas and Laila Hudson--and was seeking vengeance. She was defeated, twice, but she surely left some emotional scars on the group.. and on Ray. With deaths and undeaths happening in those around her she cared so deeply for, she began to feel the crushing weight of survivor's guilt and emotional responsibility press onto her shoulders with impossible strength. She began hallucinating horrors, developing schizophrenia and witnessing her loved ones die terrible deaths over and over again in visions that no one else could see. To cope, she took on magic of the Emerald Nightmare, in order to manage these hallucinations and use the magic to defend her people.

...Eventually, something happened in the afterlife--from here-on referred to as the Afterworld--that caused things to go awry. Once getting to the bottom of it, not only were Judas and Laila seeking revenge as well, but Michael himself was tampering with the very concept of life and death. He had murdered and slain in his efforts for rebellion and so had Raymond, and he made a deal with Judas and Laila--if they were to kill the Shadows of the Faithful, they would grant Raymond and Michael peace in the Afterworld, so they would not need to repent for their sins. Michael agreed, and Judas and Laila knew that killing the Shadows of the Faithful would be a far more valuable punishment to Raymond than just simple death. However, the agreement was broken. Raymond witnessed the souls of her group be transported to Judas and Laila's Afterworld realm for slaughter and refused to follow in her father's footsteps anymore. She denounced him, promised she'd get her revenge for this act--and invaded Judas and Laila's realm, slaughtering them and consuming their souls with Nightmare magic, thus destroying the realm and freeing her crew. And she held onto her promise to her father.. She defeated him in battle with the help of the Faithful while Celene watched on, realizing once more her husband's sins and refusing to stand by him while he caused so much pain to their daughter. And so, Raymond held her father by his throat over the Soulwell--a massive hole in the Midpoint universe leading to the Maw--and sneered as he plead for his life.. then dropped him coldly into the abyss.

The last few years of Raymond's life were not kind to her. Faye had been killed in a battle against an evil entity called the Tormentor. Her worst fears and hallucinations were coming to pass.. and eventually, she was faced with a villain she had almost full certainty she could not protect her group against.. unless she gave it her all.

And she did. She had felt this coming for a long time. It was finally time to rest.. Time to leave the Shadows of the Faithful behind to thrive in her memory. Launching herself with her full might at the villain, Wish, she closed her eyes as her world flashed to white...

...

And then, she was home. In the Afterworld, on a boat sailing in a bay not too far from a luscious jungle ripe for the hunting as Faye rummaged in the vessel's main room.

...It was over. It was time to rest.

THOUGHTS: HOOOOOLY MOLY I can NOT believe I just did this in one sitting but.. yeah. So I told myself I'd random-name-pick in order to choose who got a Character Insight next but.. for my very first one, I decided my main was the most fitting choice. I killed this character off the other day at the end of a massive rp arc I did. She's my first character and I've been rping her since I was literally twelve, and I made multiple people in my friend group cry lmao. I sobbed too, it wasn't easy for me. But Ray was a vent of when my life was a shitshow and a hellhole, but now I'm married and out of my former living situation. I'm happy, and at peace. It's only fitting Ray gets to be, now.

I cannot put into words how much I absolutely fucking adore Raymond. She's likely the reason I'm alive and I am so so happy to have rp'ed her for so long. I made so many memories with her and met so many wonderful and amazing people through her (including my husband!). She's like my child, my baby, and while I was devastated to see her go.. I knew it was her time. There was nothing more to her story, and she had seen enough. She is with Faye now.

Spine erect but not rigid, Gloria is seated cross-legged on the floor of a personal meditation cove. She breathes easily, mentally scanning her body to systematically soften and release any physical tensions she finds. Any thoughts that threaten to disturb her are acknowledged and then let go. Consciously, she lowers her shoulders and softens her hands, allowing the mana crystals in both palms to grow heavy. She draws from them, welcoming the foreign mana into her veins and letting it flow naturally until it reaches her core where she drinks it in and compresses it, restoring her mana reserves until she hits her capacity. She has been a truegold for sixty years now, and statistics tell her that her journey as a cultivator is likely at its end.

Statistics can go fuck themselves.

Gloria Gallo is persistence itself; dogged in her pursuit of a greater understanding. Of herself, of her world, of her practice. She is the petal that gently disturbs the lake, the fish that flows upstream, the branch that waves as the wind bids it to break. She is a child covered in mud, her blood and tears mingling with the earth of Leora. She is a teenager decked in animal skins, stalking through the wilds with passion in her heart and a bow in her hands. She is a cultivator just starting on her journey because-

The door opens and the shock slams her back into her body, all thoughts of advancing to Underlord neatly shattered by Amala Thevar’s assistant. Gloria’s face is a mask of neutrality, a still pond as only her head moves to gaze towards the intruder. Never in her more than a century of life had she ever been interrupted in sealed meditation before. Her eyes are exceptionally cold as she waits to learn why.

“Forgiveness, Elder Gallo. Please understand that I would never interrupt your sealed meditation if I had any other choice. But given the circumstances I - we - believed that you shoul-”

Gloria’s eyebrow twitches before her deep voice cracks like a whip, “Get to the fucking point.”

The assistant flinches before he clears his throat, the action eliciting a glare from the seated woman. “Ah, yes, well...” Gloria rolls her eyes and glides to her feet, pocketing the mana stones in her white trousers as she waits for this man to find his tongue. “There’s been an incident at the Food and Wine festival. Ohh Universe I don't know. I think space and universe is too big and vaste for me :D I rather stay on earth. I really would love to visit my friend in Canada. And I have never been there! So this would be dope! I also wanna go to NYC again. And I kinda should to get some reference photos and ideas for the Aran and Tao comic :D And I really would love to travel to Japan! Other than this the idea of being in a cozy cabin somewhere on a lake surrounded by mountains and forest sounds really really tempting lately!

She always has her car keys on hand because she has two licenses, one from New York and one from South Korea and whenever she travels she uses rental cars.

• PASSPORT!

Since she travels a lot for tours, promotions, breaks, and more, she always has to keep with her at all times. Surprisingly she has never lost it either.

• HER PHONES!

Since she is always on the go and busy, she has to remember to bring her business and personal phone because she keeps in constant contact with her family and business emails she has to answer from her entertainment companies and her own business.

• LIP STUFF!

She uses three lip oils and one lip butter for her lips. The three lip oils she uses are the Fenty Beauty lip oils with Barbados Cherry and Kalahari Melon and the Ami Cole lip treatment oil in the shade reflection with Baobab oil, Camellia seed oil, and Passionfruit seed oil.
