Harry Potter and Hermione Granger friendship is one of the thing I admire in the Wizarding World. The fact that a boy and a girl can love and admire each other so much without romantic attachment is really thoughtful. People mostly bend the relationship of a boy and a girl as close as Harry and Hermoine towards love affairs. The friendship of Harry and Hermoine proves that such pure friendship exists in the world.

Hermione's love for Harry is just too beautiful. I don't know, but I see it as almost maternal. She gave him advice from girls and made him eat his meals (healthy meals, not too many sweets because they are bad for his teeth) and would do his homework, I'm sure she sent him to bed when it was getting late and he was still playing chess in the common room. She would be extremely protective and if a student said something mean about Harry (like spreading a stupid rumor about him being secretly happy about Cedric's death because he can now date Cho) she would make them wish they weren't born because no one messed with their brother newest. As if she took on the role of big sister, but as the two have no biological parental figure in the magical world (yes, there are Molly, Arthur and Sirius and Lupin , but they do not live with them on a daily basis), she feels like she has to take on that role too. Lucky that Ron was always there to help her raise her younger brother and stop her when she was going too far.

Harry trusts and affirms Hermione as well, in a different context, as her knowledge is heavily focused on booksmarts. He trusts her tutoring and knowledge implicitly, without any doubts that whatever she is writing in his homework is false or incorrect. He values her intelligence.

Harry stands up for and protects her. On multiple occasions he threatens to duel and/or start shouting matches with people insulting Hermione's character. Harry would not hesitate for a second to risk serious punishment if it meant defending Hermione and her honour.

Harry engages in what I would call fair arguments and discussions with her. The two of them do often buttheads, but there are a lot of instances where they come to compromises or agreements on things they disagree on. Harry rarely stonewalls her, and the times when he did he almost always paid the price for it (Advanced Potion Making).

Like with Ron, Harry inspires Hermione to do the right thing. When we first meet Hermione she is the type of person who would just die on the spot if she witnessed rule breaking. By the end of that very book Hermione is breaking dozens of school rules because she has learned that sometimes rules have to be broken to do the right thing. By the end of the series she has become a person who will always try to do the right thing by default, rules be damned. She learns specifically from Harry (who had his experiences with the Durselys) that people in positions of authority do not deserve your trust and respect by default, which is what teaches her that breaking the rules is necessary sometimes when the people who made the rules are corrupt and malicious.

And then there's nonsensical people that overestimate this friendship and confuse them and feel insecure just because they think affects Harry and Ginny beautiful love relationship and hear annoying Harmione shipers confusing Harry and Hermione sibling relationship with love and dating which is not Canon since Harry himself says he loves Hermione like a sister and she feels the same for him.

2 - talk about a time where a narrative or character has looked you dead in the eyes and said "fuck your plan, here's what we're actually doing." when writing the road trip fic I originally wrote it from Draco's perspective because I thought I could get more angst out of it! But about 2 chapters in I realized that it just made so much more sense to write it from Harry's pov instead because Draco keeps so many secrets and it wouldn't be as narratively interesting if we got them from his pov (whereas harry could slowly tease them out of him over the course of their trip.) so I completely rewrote what I had written and I think it turned out better.

9 - in an ideal world where you're already super successful and published, would you want to see a tv or movie adaptation of your work? why or why not? ooh that is TRICKY. in terms of like fic adaptations I feel like my fics aren't very well suited for adaptations because they are relatively boring 😅 most of the time it's just people talking and/or pining incessantly!

18 - what is your most and least favourite part of writing? most is when you write a killer line and you're like holy shit that's good. worst is actually getting the ideas down on paper because i lose momentum and motivation super easily.

82 - "proper" punctuation or all lowercase? lowercase because i'm lazyyyy.

90 - do you notice your own voice in your writing style? sometimes! a lot of what i write comes from like cool snippets i think of in my head - like bits of dialogue or interesting phrases.
