So anyone who reads sanders sides fanfics (or just in general) I NEED HELP FOR FINDING THIS ONE FANFIC THAT IS STUCK IN MY BRAIN AND IF I DONT READ IT IMA EXPLODE

My memory is kinda shit but ill try to recall as much as i can

the fanfic was about logan, patton, virgil, roman, and maybe thomas too?? getting kidnapped?? sucked into a game/rpg?? and they had to find some items to defeat the boss and stuff. I remember that they had weapons but idk what they were. i think one of them got their arm broken, and i think they were spilt for a bit (like 2-3 chapters if i remember correctly) i don’t remember how they escape exactly but i remember they woke up, talked about for a bit and went along with their days? i might be remembering wrong for some parts. The fanfic was on ao3 and it was multi-chapter. i think LAMP was also in the tags but idk

if anyone can find it lemme know please its been stuck in my head for days and i had no luck finding it so far.

and now ima head out bc i spent too long thinking about this fic and i really need to do my homework like rn

ANOTHER SONIC DREAM

You know how people are always saying how they have the most vivid dream where they fall in love with someone or they have a child and it's so realistic and when they wake up they're devastated because it wasn't actually real?

That happened to me this morning. But of course it wasn't about a person or a baby or what have you. It was about Sonic lol.

I dreamt I was rewatching episodes of Sonic Boom, and during my marathon there was an episode I hadn't seen before. In it, Sonic was really sick and groggy but he refused to get any rest. This of course made him only more tired, groggy and dazed. But that's our stubborn boy, right?

So anyway, during the battle Amy does what she always does, kick Badnick-butt. And maybe because Sonic is a little loopy, he gets overly enthusiastic about it

Then unexpectedly he just rushes Amy and full on kisses her!

And in my dream I'm screaming, I can't believe I'm watching this! The kiss is so comedically romantic and over the top, too. The background fades out, Sonic and Amy are floating and spinning, Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet" is playing, Badniks are flying in slow motion in the background and exploding into fireworks.

Then the shot fades to reveal that Sonic was JUST HALLUCINATING BECAUSE HE'S SO ILL AND GOT BRAIN FOG

But it didn't matter! It was a super well animated kiss in the Sonic show and in my dream I'm like "WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN THIS? WHY AREN'T THERE GIFS OF THIS? WHAT WHAT WHAT" and so I rush on to tumblr to scream about it with you all.

AND THEN I WAKE UP. IT WAS A DREAM. A DREAM!!!

AND I JUST GOT TO SEE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE NORTH AMERICA TOUR (more specifically Montreal! (yes i flew to an entirely different country to see it)) and i am incredibly attached to enjolras and grantaire so here are just things i saw that made my nails dig into my thighs <3 (not just enjoltaire)

oh my dear months old source of no big sad

this is 90% incoherent rambling (SPOILERS)

- Grantaire had long hair and a long coat i think that deserves its own point

- During Red and Black, Grantaire did the old “Don Juan” with the bottle right in Enjolras’ face (he was not impressed)

- In this same song, Enjolras got really close to R’s face during “don’t let the wine go to your brain”

- Again, in Red and Black, when they tossed Grantaire’s bottle to Enj, teasing him, Grantaire grabbed the bottle in a… way… when he was giving it back to him

- Same song 😭 Grantaire was bouncing on a guy’s lap during the first few verses

- In DYHTPS, Grantaire pulled Gavroche aside away from the students crowding Enjolras (this broke my heart, he clearly loves him and doesn’t want him to be in a war)

- “Glad to do a friend a favor” with a very suggestive hand gesture

- In the “dogs will bark flees will bite”, Grantaire pointed a finger at Enjolras, the former getting real close putting his weapon between them. They got REALLY close

- Gavroche pulled the middle finger at Javert lmao

-Eponine fucking died (i knew that already, seen every bootleg and version available, still hit hard)

- During Eponine’s death Gavroche ran onto the stage, closely followed by Grantaire being held onto by Enjolras

- Gavroche tried approaching Eponine (that’s his sister bro :()) but was stopped and held onto by Grantaire. When she died however, Grantaire quickly bent to hug Gavroche, man the grief was so clear with them both.

- After she died, everyone cleared to their positions but Enjolras and Grantaire, seemingly for Enjolras to try and comfort him, but decided against it quickly and pushed past him. Grantaire placed his hand on his chest in mock offense 😭

- When the attack was about to start, Grantaire mocked and toyed with tied up Javert. When Enjolras called for hold, Grantaire threw his arms around Javert with a “yep!” and cue the battle starting immediately when that happened

- During Grantaire’s verse during Drink With Me, it’s back to Enjolras and Grantaire being center stage. Enjolras approached him, held onto his arm and with the same hand moved up to brush R’s hair, which lead to him breaking off the contact and rushing to the other corner of the stage.

-He was followed by Gavroche, who hugged him from behind and then they both fell asleep next to each other :((

- Gavroche fucking died (i knew he did still heartbreaking) and was caught by Enj, who handed him to Grantaire

- During the Gavroche solo, Grantaire stood center stage looking to the crowd, not even flinching when the gun sounded, only turning around when Gavroche was already at the top of the barricade

- He tried shaking him awake :(( then set him down and stared at him :((

- That was until Marius fell, Enjolras rushing to check on him, making Grantaire rush to his side

- R grabbed onto Enj and they both held the back of each other’s necks,, from my angle it looked like their foreheads touched but idk if they would do that but MANNN

-Enjolras fucking died first (no wtf :(( )

- Grantaire fucking died last (BRO.)

- Everyone fucking died bro

- Except Marius and JVJ of course

- Mr Thenardier, instead of singing “This one’s a queer but what can you do”, sang “This one’s a queer, I’ll try it to!” and dipped a guy in the wedding 😭

- The “to love another person is to see the face of god” line always makes me emotional just :((

One of the things I just adore about the fannon portrayal of Jehan Prouvaire is how most people depict him as effeminate or nonbinary, somewhat introverted, shy, and disinclined to aggression, but they do so with nuance.

Jehan isn't shown to be defenseless or weak-willed, he fights for what he believes in and generally doesn't fall into that delicate twink stereotype. So often, I find the characters I relate to most cannot be shown as both the queer, eccentric, and introverted type as well as the assertive and strong character. Jehan stands out, however.

surge and kit are being propped up as heroes and praised, meanwhile this situation sonic and tails are in is going to get them in trouble with the restoration. even if they reveal clutch and mimic by the end of this arc, they still worked with eggman. sonic is using eggman’s tech. it’s not even that it’ll be viewed as a betrayal, that is a betrayal

if things keep going the way they’re going, sonic and tails are be seen as, at worst, traitors to the restoration while surge and kit are heroes, meaning that the latter are one step closer to replacing the brothers when it comes to public image

surge and kit didn’t even have to kill them, just leave them to their own devices and sonic and tails will fuck up their own reputations ahshdhdjdjs (they do have good intentions in this case, but still-)

What makes Sonamy not just a “Standard Couple” to you? What is the uniqueness in this relationship? I’m talking officially and in multimedia.

Such a big question… woof! I think… the reason Sonamy will always be the standout OTP is they represent pure love to me. Pure love is happiness. Love is meant to be fun!

I think Sonic and Amy have this wonderful dynamic that is so playful no matter what life throws at them.

Sonic is a free spirit and he feels the most joy when he’s running. I think he really enjoys the cat and mouse game that he and Amy play. He could easily outrun her, but whenever she chases him around he always stays within arm’s reach. In his own weird, quirky, not-good-at-expressing-my-feelings-kind-of way, I think this is Sonic’s way of sharing his joy with Amy. I don’t see it as “I’m running away from you.” I see it as “Run with me.”

I’m also always just completely overcome with emotion with Amy’s dedication and love for Sonic. To cherish someone so genuinely, to give your heart to someone unconditionally and without the expectation they’re going to reciprocate those feelings, that's real love. And in canon she's not this pained thing for doing that, either. She just loves freely and openly and is her happiest self when she's showing affection. I think her constant flirting and (though she doesn’t do this anymore) marriage proposals are just her rascally way to say “I find you and your way of life and everything you do romantic. I’m not actually asking you to do anything different. Just let me love you for you.”

There are plenty of ships out there that are full of angst/heartbreak/DRAMA/etc and believe me, I’m here for it. And I’m even here for when people apply those themes to Sonamy (I do it too!). But I think why I’m so naturally drawn to Sonic and Amy’s dynamic as it’s portrayed in canon is because it’s usually so fun and playful and happy. I think the world needs more of that. That’s why I always refer to them as my cotton-candy couple, not just because of their colors but because they’re so sweet and bright! 💙💖

I gotta be honest, I'm kind of tired of the discourse surrounding what verbiage authors should and shouldn't use in smut scenes. I'm going to say folds. I'm sorry, but I'm yet to see anyone come up with a decent substitute that isn't "vulva" and this is not an anatomy textbook, ok? I'm also not going to say pussy if it's a soft, timid, first-time scene, because to me, it's about context and I don't feel like that fits the mood.

I'm also yet to see one person who complains about verbiage, give viable substitutes. There's only so many times you can say cock in a scene. I'm going to use length too, and if people don't like it, maybe we can all just "so Lorcan did" and they can fill in the blanks themselves.

Like, none of the people complaining are actually writers. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but disrespectfully, if your opinion is that you want to read "he inserted his penis into her damp vagina" you're in the wrong place, friend.

a few days ago i saw one of my friends who also suffer from an ed, and she is...... so f*cking skinny now. the moment i saw her, i felt horribly about myself and didn't eat anything except a small salad for dinner. i know she is in a very bad mental place rn, but i just want to look excatly like her omgggg

So. Sonic Dream Team. I just watched the cutscenes and I have SO MUCH to talk about. Let's just dive right into it no intros

First of all, this little moment.

Cream runs off to fight a boss, and the others can't follow her. Of course, Amy immediatly gets worried, but Sonic calms her down saying that Cream can do this, and that "she's growing up on us fast".

Now, doesn't that sound familiar?

Of course Sonic is gonna tell Amy something like that, because he knows what it's like first hand with Tails. He knows what it's like to be worried about your younger friend, but you still gotta believe in them and let them fight their own battles. I love this so much.

Now, I'm not sure if Dream Team a part of the Sonic mainline or not, but if is, I want to think it takes place wayyyy after Frontiers, after Tails, Knuckles and Amy came back from their solo journeys perhaps? I don't know how to explain, maybe it's just Ian Flynn doing his magic again, but the characters just feel so much more mature but still the same they've always been you know? Just- better. Whatever the case, let me be delusional and have the reassurance that Team Sonic will reunite after their solo journeys okay thank you very much.

Now, let's talk about Knuckles.

Something I noticed in the cutscenes, is that Knuckles doesn't mention the Master Emerald, or about coming back to his island at all. He doesn't complain about being "dragged into this" and having more "important stuff to do". I'd like to think that this time, whatever happened to get this group reunited and look for Cream, Knuckles didn't tag along on accident or because he was forced to somehow. He tagged along because he genuely wanted to help look for Cream and save the world from Eggman again. That he genuely wanted to go on this adventure with this friends. And I love how he says "Now we can help protect Ariem too. That's what guardians are for, right?" Again, he doesn't mention the Master Emerald, Knuckles just said himself that as a guardian, his duty can be to protect anyone, not just the big shiny rock. That alone, shows Knuckles' growth a lot to me. He's protective over the E.M, but that's not all his character is about. He's protective over other people. He's protective over his friends. He's protective period. Because that's a part of his personality, of how Knuckles is. He's actually a person, not a machine that cares about nothing other than his duty.

And then, this little moment.

Again, he doesn't mention the E.M or his duty, but you don't have to be a genius to know that that's what he's thinking about. He understands Ariem more than anyone in the room. He admires her for taking her duty so seriously.

That's another reason why I want to think this takes place after Frontiers. Knuckles still thinks about his duty and takes it seriously, but still cares about other things, like protecting others and helping his friends in adventures, unlike other Sonic contents where he's just stuck on his island all the time. (Cough cough IDW cough cough)

Now, a little on Tails.

I love this little moment. Sonic checking up on his little bro, asking if he's okay, which he immediatly responds to "you know me!" As if, "Yeah, you know I can take it." Like Amy and Cream, Sonic still worries and cares about Tails, but also believes in him.

And then this little moment, if you choose to go with Tails instead of Cream to the boss fight.

Eggman uses his usual taunting, and Tails' confident and challenging response made me be on the edge of my seat. Another reason why I want to believe this takes place after Frontiers, is just that Tails sounds way more confident on himself.

And as he says, "Don't underestimate me, Eggman!"

Eggman himself responds with, "Oh, I won't."

He could've easily gone for another taunting, but then he simply decides not to and admits he won't be stupid to underestimate Tails, and tells his machines to go on full power or whatever. Reminds me of a moment when Eggman complimeted Tails in Frontiers Final Horizon saying "You're turning out quite formidable, Tails." I mean like?? You know you're crushing it when the villain himself admits it.

And I love how through the game, the gang keeps turning to Tails for answers. I didn't even screenshot it because there are just SO many moments where the gang goes: "Tails! Is there anything you can do?" "Tails, you're super smart, is there something you can do?" "Tails, what do we do?"

Which Tails also has a response to. Even if he doesn't know for sure, he always comes up with a plan for them to proceed, which the gang follows with no question. "Buy Tails some time!"

And obviously, I won't even get started on how they gave Cream so much importance. I feel like everyone pointed it out already, so I wanted to make this post mainly to point out things I noticed about our classic gang, Amy, Knuckles and Tails.
