Yes ! Fret not, there are women ! There are just so many characters I'm still unsure how to juggle them all ! I want the B plot on Cybertron to switch between character perspectives to show how everyone is generally doing there so you will see them around !

I have scientist and non-scientist women, Lifeline is a field medic so she's out and about in battle while I imagine Nautica is working to get the Ark back in working order

Non-Scientist women include Elita-1, she's the Mining Captain (similar to TFone !) she works with geologist Lug looking for energon, I imagine Anode as a weaponsmith in this AU, Arcee is a surface scout, and Windblade is the Autobot Aerial Captain

other characters include Strongarm, Chromia, Firestar, Greenlight and Moonracer who are also around but again, idk how big of a role anyone is playing yet since I'm still working on the story.

With the Decepticons we have Flamewar, Strika, Slipstream and others I'm probably forgetting off the top of my head. Though I'm not really sure what I'm doing with the Decepticons all too much yet </3 Work in progress..

Also on another note, I want to point out Science AU Skywarp is nonbinary and uses any pronouns. Much like real life, gender is a social construct for them. Cybertronians are sexless and choose whatever pronouns feel comfortable for them.

Arcee my beloved<33 she is the risky subject on the riders community because she is the most dedicated yet dangerous rider. She and her team love to explore the limitations of the sport, but that’s what makes her team shine inside and outside the motogp. She tried many times to convince her biggest inspiration, a retired history-making rider, to stay in the game and mentor her team. Unfortunately she always got rejected, but it seems like she’s not going to stop convincing her hero anytime soon! Also she’s in a relationship with a lovely pilot<3

The first Bot to find out Bee was alive was Optimus. Upon seeing him he froze, his processor racing, trying to make it make sense. Bee was quick to turn and run, acting purely on instinct. Optimus's attempt to call out to him would be for nothing and so would the chase that followed. Escape, canvasing, hiding, these are all things Bee excels at as a scout. He wouldn't be found again so easily.

Optimus, among all the others, would be shocked. Confused and upset but unbelievably relieved. Almost in disbelief that it could be true, thinking it was to good to be so. Why would Bee run from them? Why would he hide from them if he was alive all this time? All questions they had, all questions they wouldn't get answered.

Optimus, Elita One and Arcee, The Maltos and The Terrans stuck with their thoughts, no trail to follow. They had become too consumed in the "How" and "Why" to move forward, to make a plan.

...But not Megatron. While he held all the same questions, unlike the others stopped in their tracks he was determined to locate the scout and get the answers. Determined to bring him home. Megatron isn't good with comfort and...feelings, but he does know how to take action. He knew Bumblebee wouldn't be easy to find, Bee had caused him enough trouble in the war to know that for a fact. Given some time, the others would join him in his search to bring their scout home.

And yes!! This is BreakBee :3 Though once the fic releases even if you don't ship them it's still readable! While there is BreakBee It won't be the main focus of the story.

Gonna throw out my thoughts and opinions about Earthspark Season 3. A fair warning that it isn't all that positive.

Spoilers under the cut!

What I liked about season 3:

Frenzy and Lazerbeak, fuck yeah! They were funny.

Prowl, for the most part.

Mopey and pouty Megatron (though perhaps that was a bit too much for too long).

The beef between Prowl and Megatron, which I'd have liked to last for far longer than it did in S3.

Agent Schloder, I miss you.

My gripes:

The new studio and writers.

The Quintessons felt like a not-thought-through plan to add a 2nd Big Bad to the series while cashing in on nostalgia. They were poorly executed. Not terrible but still not great.

The Chaos Terrans also felt like an afterthought in season 3.

The way I see it, we lost the Decepticons because the cast grew far too large for the climax thanks to the 2nd Big Bad of seasons 2 and 3 and new cast additions.

Because of the huge cast, characters often had to get hurt or be set aside for the dumbest reasons, all so that others could have their few seconds of spotlight/attention.

Why does this studio have such an issue with animating mouths?

It seems they couldn't get a hold of Keith David for Grimlock (or didn't have the budget to pay him) for this season. The awkward silences with Grimlock were, yeah, awkward.

While logical, Shockwave was too soft of a Decepticon leader and frankly, doomed all Decepticons to stay stuck in the dome. Though of course, the dome was a plot device to keep the Decepticons separated from the Quintesson plot line.

Breakdown's betrayal of Bumblebee was ?????.

The Quintesson ship was a drill! Why did you use the ship's screw shape and turn it vertically only not to use it like a drill a la 80s movie fashion?? screeee--

The writers tried to make Cosmos a silly little guy but missed the mark. Sorry Weird Al, at least you're funnier in other cameos.

Showing Starscream's silhouette behind the Titan's optic a few times as if he was going to be of importance later was a bit insulting, especially after it turns out he lost his marbles and held tea parties in the Titan's head with the "corpses" of the Chaos Terrans. He got to do nothing. Thanks, writing team.

Stiff action scenes compared to Season 1.

Nobody asked for a whole episode dedicated to Fairmaestro in an already extremely limited season 3. Nobody.

Prowl was fine and an interesting addition to the team until the 2nd half of the final episode. Another victim of "rushing the plot".

Elita-1 and Arcee are too similar in personality and fighting spirit and, while I have no problem at all with tough strong women in a series, I'd have liked at least one softer lady in the cast. Not all women have to kick butt.

Megatron's propellers are deemed "too old-fashioned" for a mission requiring flyers, so Cosmos and Prowl (who has two cool but "flimsy" thrusters) were put on the case instead. Fair, I guess? Yet the moment Prowl is out of commission, Nightshade replaces him. I mean, what makes Nightshade stronger than Megatron?

Optimus makes a big deal toward Prowl about taking the spark revival key with him after leaving Cybertron, implying it is an important artifact, but he is totally fine with Mo nabbing it AND holding onto it like an oversized necklace.

The underwater fight scene with Robby and Mo on the Quintesson ship was boring and had bad sound mixing.

Why was Dottie reduced to Megatron's "army support human"?

I know I complain about the cast being too big but where was Tarantulas and when will he and Nightshade interact again?

I get Witwicky is a town in the middle of nowhere, but I don't think there is any forest or wildlife left with Terratronus stomping about.

1. ...Continuation of me having trouble deciding on what his antennae should look like. 2. Knockout invites Bee to drink one day, to which they have a conversation about how old Bee is because he thinks he's not old enough to drink, but he is, since Knockout is. I like to imagine Bee forgot how old he is since he stopped counting while he was down there at sublevel 50. 3. G1 anime reference. 4. I can't decide on Ratchet's design so here's his 3rd design I have for him. Is he probably in the background of the One movie? Oh of course. But I will take creative liberties because I want to add references from a lot of continuities into my AU.  5. Knockout and Damus might be friends, and Damus works at Maccadam's as a singer/entertainer. Knockout takes Bee, and Bee and Damus probably hit it off really well--Damus then asks Bee to get Other Prime to sign a book for him. I wrote that Elita might open Maccadam's (or its equivalent) because Alchemist is dead, but I realized that Alchemist might've opened it when he was still alive so please ignore that memo if you've read it! 6. The Council suggests the exploration of the surface, to which Other Prime sends the Autobots. Jazz is the leader of this expedition (I forgot to add her but Arcee is also the leader;;; I'm sorry for not drawing you girl I love you 😭). Soundwave (scanning) and Knockout (emergency healing) are in this group. Ratchet and Pharma are back at the base for the group to report findings of lost/injured bots. 7. The expedition manages to find a stasis-locked Jetfire (he was gone long before the Quintesson War so he knows nothing about the events of that or One), which Soundwave recognizes as Jetfire was a member of the High Guard. They manage to patch him up at the capitol but his optics are permanently damaged as a result of him being in the "dark" for too long (I FORGOT TO COLOR THEM ALSKDFJALKJD THEY'RE PROBS BLACKED OUT WITH A TINY LIGHT IN THERE OR SMTH MY BAD), and his body still feels like it's still in its alt form. He's afraid of transforming for fear of getting stuck again, so while he's back in the High Guard post-recovery, he acts as a large jetpack for those that need him. He's crucial for bringing Starscream back.

Hey so like this movie is really fucking funny? Bumblebee is actually just insane and he’s so caring and I love him. He’s my cringy little boy who has never talked to anyone ever. He lives in the dumpster. Elita one is also funny. She’s so fucking done with dumbasses 1-3. Although the part where everyone was like ‘hey follow protocol’ when not following protocol means Jazz gets to live was a bit crazy. But it makes sense and Optimus going back for Jazz really just makes his chances of dying with him much higher. But it’s Jazz. We all love Jazz. No one wants to see Jazz get crushed. Look at him at the end of the movie he’s so happy to have his little wings he’s Jazzzzz.

If the high I felt from watching this movie is half of what people get from ecstasy then I totally get why people would do it. I don’t think I’ve ever felt that much joy in that little amount of time. I could not sit still. My chest actually hurt. It was amazing. I was able to recognize characters and I was just like ‘JAZZ! JAZZ! WAIT IS THAT RATCHET? PROWL? SIDESWIPE AND SUNSTREAKER????? YESSS! ARCEE!! SKYWARP! RARARARARARA’ and I understand that I am weird for this. But it was so much fun. And I was laughing and getting upset with the characters. And the animation is so good and cybertron is soooo pretty. I love the deer and although the quintsons are a minor part of this movie I think they’ll play a much bigger role in the sequel that’s hopefully coming. I want to see more of the characters. I want to see how Megatron will interact with the other decepticons. I want skywarp to get more lines (I’m 99% sure that he was the guy who said ‘what’ when Optimus said ‘we roll out’). I want to see how the other autobots interact. I want to see Sunstreaker do literally anything. I want to see more of this story and more of this world.

D16 is great. I really like him and I like how pissed he is at Orion and how he snaps. Orion pushed him into a lot of situations he really didn’t want to be in and he’s done saving Orion. And like. He’s also not really wrong about killing Sentinel. Like killing is inherently inhumane, but if it is the only way to preserve life then it is justifiably inhumane. And realistically, what else would they have done with him? He clearly has some backing from a guard of some sorts and connections to the quintisons, so he could ruin everyone’s lives again. The way he died was extra and there’s definitely a better way to kill him (“morally” speaking. There’s not a humane way to kill a persons outside of extreme circumstances, but some ways are definitely worse than others). But his death was also so cool. Like I was expecting Megatron to just shoot him but holy shit that was brutal. Also this is me being a little silly goose but I don’t think that his eyes are literally changing colors. I think the story is being told mainly through Optimus’s perspective, and the eye color shifting is metaphorical. The yellow to orange is a lot more subtle than the orange to red. When his eye color changes it’s not just when he’s changing (which is definitely also apart of it I think) but specifically when Optimus realizes that the change has occurred. Yellow and Blue and Orange and Blue also complement each other. Red and Blue are a bit more jarring when put next to each other imo. Like it’s based on nothing but my own weird little mind. But anyways, I don’t think Optimus jumped in front of sentinel because he gave a shit about sentinel. I think he jumps in front of Megatron’s gun because he desperately needs to save his friend. But it’s too late and they are now both unrecognizable to each other. Suddenly getting power and being suppressed his entire life coupled with sentinel’s betrayal caused D16 to snap. His entire life was a lie and a person he looked up to turned out to be the biggest piece of shit on cybertron. Also a thing I found really interesting was that the high guard/future decepticons chanted D16’s name when he was beating the shit out of starscream whereas with Orion the miners/future autobots changed his name after he gave a speech and was literally kneeling to be on their level.

Sentinel prime was really fun. I predicted that he would be revealed as a traitor entirely because he’s Sentinel. But it was still fun to see it happen. Also he’s beautiful. This is the best he has ever looked. The colors look great next to each other and the wings go hard. He’s very one dimensional but he makes the other characters around him have more dimensions because he’s so simple. And he doesn’t need to be complex. Keep It Simple Stupid. The movie is less than two hours long, it doesn’t need to reinvent the wheel. It knows how to use the wheel and it uses it great. Sentinel is an asshole and I really like him. The version of him that I have in my head is very different but I like asshole sentinel. Tfa Sentinel is great. Tf One Sentinel is great. I hope they both die <3

Also when D16 saw megatronus’s head? Amazing. Both of his hero’s (sentinel and Megatronus) died in that cave, literally and metaphorically. And the fact that this happened in a cave reminds of that one metaphor some dead guy came up with. Basically there’s these prisoners who are forced to stay in a cave and I think they might be tied upside down but one of them is able to leave the cave and discovers that there is more to the world than the cave and that they have also been upside down. When he tried to relay this to his friends they declare him to be a liar. It’s a basic little thing about discovering the truth or whatever I can’t articulate it very well. But that was Megatron’s cave moment. His entire life was a lie. He is existing the cave and he will never be the same. Was TF One actually just refrencing this? Probably not. BUT WAIT! The Cybertronians live underground, so that’s technically a cave. Everyone who is living in the underground city and who don’t go to the surface are in the dark. ITS THE CAVE AGAIN! AT THE END OF THE MOVIE THEY ARE ALL THAT THE SURFACE! THEY ALL LEFT THE CAVE!! I’m loosing my fucking mind if you couldn’t tell. Also the minors go into caves and they very much love sentinel. cave Cave CAVE

Starscream is really cool. We haven’t seen enough of him to get a gage on his morality or how big of a traitor he’ll be, but what’s been shown is really great. His motivations for challenging and goading D16 are unclear. Like he might be a masochist but probably not. Maybe he wants him to be the new leader. I wished that we saw more of screamer but what we got was pretty great. And I hope he gets to play a more major role in future movies. As well as soundwave and shockwave because although shockwave was really funny they unfortunately didn’t get to do much.

This version of Elita kicks ass. Scarlett Johansson does an excellent job of voicing her. Although it would have been funny if she voiced Arachnid. But she’s so cool and also funny. I loved when she told Orion that she was better than him at everything but having optimism. Her ripping off Arachnid’s leg and using it to beat her was fucking awesome. ‘I’m being gentle!’ I love her so much she’s so funny. Her anger towards being demoted motivating her to go along with the three idiots was good. I want to see more of her in general and I want to see how her dynamic with Optimus will change in the next movie. Like ‘next movie’ might not happen but I’m really hoping that it does. But even if it doesn’t the film is still amazing.

Chris Hemsworth does a great job voicing Optimus. I was really surprised and impressed. Like low key I was sort of expecting this to be a Chris Pratt Mario situation when I first heard he would be OP’s VA because I only knew him from the Marvel movies. But he does a great job. Bryan Tyree Henry does an excellent job voicing D16/Megatron. Like he might be my favorite Megatron voice. Like I love Scottish Megatron but this voice is soooo good. Every voice actor does a phenomenal job.

The animation is amazing. I love the backgrounds and the bridges that just appear. The surface of cybertron is so pretty and I love the general aesthetic. The fight scenes are so well done. They utilize transformations in the fight (like Optimus retracting his head like a turtle to dodge attacks) and that’s super cool! The facial expressions are also really good. When Optimus is telling Megatron to leave he looks so sad and it looks so real. These characters are all really expressive, including the background ones. Like I’ve seen a lot of redraws of Jazz looking at his wings and being all happy. Each background character looks unique and there are a lot of cameos and it was so much fun to look at them. A lot of love and effort was clearly put into this movie and it really shows. The eyes are so pretty, the backgrounds are so pretty, the characters become so shiny.

It’s a great movie and I think everyone should go watch it. I need this film to get a sequel.

I really like your idea that I could do three different characters, Elita-1, Jazz, and Arcee (I genuinely could not choose who to talk about and had to ask who to pick)!

3. What first drew you to this character?

I once talked about this with Elita so I'll answer for Arcee and Jazz. With Arcee, the thing that first drew me to her was that she was a badass warrior in TFP and IDW, since those were the first TF things I saw, and I thought her design was really cool (pink and blue are two of my favorite colors to pair together). I liked that she's experienced grief in her life, too. With Cyberverse, though, it was how much fun she was always having that I loved.

Huh, I'm just realizing that with Jazz, it's almost all the same traits? I was about to type that it was his coolness and competence but also how much fun he has? There are patterns here XD

I've managed to write a decent amount with Jazz and Elita at this point, but with Arcee, if I could just produce a story instantaneously, I'd write a long epic story about her bonding with Shadow Striker, or (file this one under things that would appeal solely to me) write a really long self-indulgent epic adventure in which she's the main character and she is created in the timeline in which the Autobots lost the War in "Rhythms of Darkness!" to protect a young Daniel Witwicky/renew the hope of the Autobots. For bonus self-indulgence, I could have Elita-1 be created around the same time and they could team up.

12. If you could draw as effortlessly as much as you wanted, what scene (s) would you draw with this character?

I HAVE SO MANY COMICS AND THINGS WITH THEM IN MY HEAD mostly small gag strips! I'll give you an example I've never got around to:

ARCEE: I just love dark, evil ladies~!

CHROMIA: You do realize you can't fix them, don't you?

ARCEE: Chromia!!! They should be respected for who they are and don't need to be fixed! That's such an offesnive thing to say, especially about someone like Shadow Striker.

ARCEE: ...I could make them all worse :3

CHROMIA: Sometimes, you scare me.

I do sometimes do that to Jazz... proof:

Elita-1 and Arcee not so much, they can both sometimes be A Lot™️ and it can be funny to poke fun at that but I don't go overboard with it. ... ... ...Okay, admittedly I've affectionately bullied TFA Blackarachnia before because of how embarrassing the dynamic is/was between her and Optimus and Sentinel though lol

49. What's your favorite personality trait in this character?

For Elita-1 and Jazz, it's how they both bottle up all their suffering and trauma in order to embody heroic ideals for their cause (hey, didn't say it had to be a healthy trait). For Arcee, my favorite trait of hers is her emotional intelligence that enables her to offer a strong, valuable perspective in many scenarios.

just a psa everybody the 'orange robot' who clearly is also purple in Transformers One is not Rung, her name is Lancer :3 she goes all the way back to The Search For Alpha Trion episode of Sunbow G1 Season 2 in 1985 as one of the Female Autobot (more recently known in other instances as the Shield of Solus) guerrillas working with Elita against Shockwave (read about the nod the movie makes to this here) and has appeared sporadically after that. She and Greenlight would finally get named in the early 2010s in Timelines as Autobot archaeologists, and the two would be warrior pilot gals in love with each other in IDW1/IDW2005 who debuted flirting in Windblade Volume II #7 in 2015 on scout duty for their warship unconscious Titan home, Carcer, not involved in the Great War. Greenlight would go on to date Arcee in IDW2/IDW2019 as a xenobiologist and help raise Gauge, and Arcee/Greenlight was also a thing in the My Little Pony crossover Magic of Cybertron, whereas Lancer was an engineer on the miraculous Winged Moon that made energon out of the literal time-space of the universe in IDW2 which would later become the refuge of the Autobots.

We totally understand why the mixup happened Lancer hasn't exactly been on television in 39 years and has only had one official toy ever (people have made customs of the idw1 version of her from cw swindle) but we do really recommend that people learn about her she's cool as heck, there's some good fanfic out there about her (and not just ones we've written!), she has a curious and flirtatious demeanor and can also be stern and pensive

Summary:

Ironhide did not envision arriving to Earth in such an awful shuttle which has one pede in the scrapyard, and whose fault is it? Jazz's. And Prime's. And Megatron's. And whoever let him play astro-poker! They'd get to Earth finally, but who knew how many pieces they would be in... Or: Ironhide and Jazz have found their way to Earth after hearing about Optimus Prime's broadcast from another Autobot. It is not the smoothest landing, nor is their time on Earth a vacation either. A rewrite of Transformers Prime from the Season 2 onwards, including more 'bots and 'cons, a different Season 3, and so much polyamory.

After I'm done with university assignments, I'll introduce the Autobons more in depth, but here are some things about them:

1. Optimus Peppermint and Jazzeight (Jazz) both have that fresh minty smell to them.

2. Arcreme's (Arcee) sweet motif is the Cadbury Egg, more so the caramel cream of it.

3. Runsicles (Rung), Elita Orange (Elita One), and Blurzzard (Blurr) have been kidnapped by the Frosties time and time again, with the reason being because they're all cold-based Sweetformers.

4. Runsicles, Ratchups (Ratchet), Wheeljell-o (Wheeljack), and Bumblegum (Bumblebee) are the most colourful Autobons in the group.

5. Proworeo (Prowl) and Blurzzard make a great team together.

6. Blurzzard has a creamy and frothy look to him, but when tasted, his flavour tends to shift, as well as the 'accessories' that adore him (biscuits, truffles, sprinkles, etc.)

7. Bluestraw (Bluestreak) has a delicate appearance due to his sweet motif based on strawberry shortcakes. This also makes him difficult for him to fight face-to-face, relying more on ranged attacks.

8. Even though he's a cold-based Sweetformer who could easily ally with the Frosties, Sundae Prime (Sentinel Prime) loves doing whatever he wants and wishes. In addition, he loves to hone the spotlight. He isn't a bad, per say... just a complicated individual.
