Cass knew she had a little brother. One not so much younger than herself. When her father sought a partner to create the ideal child to become an assassin, he hadn’t settled for just one person. 

So, yes, Cassandra’s aware she has a brother out there. Daniel, she thinks she heard he was called. If rumors are to be believed, he was just as skilled as she had been in his training. Although, not as good as herself. She never met him, though. She had just heard how one day he disappeared without a trace. 

Therefore, it’s entirely possible that the boy in front of her claiming to be her brother is who he says he is.

when luz just wants her mom... but shes the worst little girl in the whole world but she's still her mother's girl at heart but she can't be anymore because of all that has happened and so much has happened in so much time without her mom but she still wants her... and how can she navigate that with everything else that needs navigating because it is so hard but luz wants it but she doesn't get why her mom wants it because why for luz? but oh does she want it. she just wants her mom but she doesn't know how </3

YEAH..... luz my poor girl. she spends two seconds on "i'm gonna try to convince myself i don't want my mom" and then is like well that failed. i want my mom so bad and i am going to have an immediate nuclear meltdown about it

i feel like in addition to the obvious lack of self-worth and survivor's guilt and whatnot, luz also has this feeling of like.... she feels like Wanting is evil in itself. wanting makes you do selfish things and impose on other people, wanting hunter has locked both of them into their crazy bullshit and wanting amity feels like a sin and not even for gay-related reasons. wanting her mom?? wanting a guardian?? bad and wrong! clearly proof of being a tyrant!

which is i guess what happens when you're raised by a puritan who firmly subscribes to the "babies crying is the first sign of their sinful nature, don't let them manipulate you" method of child-rearing.

Working on some LUxAceAttorney art that makes me want to cry 🫠 I want to draw a bunch of sprites for the chain and redraw the sprites for the aa guys so that they all match. At least I’m not trying to emulate the aa style too much. Anyways, these two scenes aren’t back to back but I wanted to draw the different sprites. Also I didn’t draw the background, it’s from the remaster I think. I just pixelated and blurred it a bit because it didn’t look right to me. Should’ve just used the GBA version probably but oh well. I did recreate the text boxes:) oh, and I have the full version of both of these sprites(this doesn’t mean they are full body) under the cut.

If anyone has any questions for the AU, I’m more than happy to answer, since it’ll be a while before I can draw something substantial for this. Anything about the case(s), the names I’ve come up with, how characters interact, etc. I’ll tell you. And @the-sleepydetective, have some art.

I tried to make them transparent but it didn’t work. Oops! I also based Wild’s design on Maya and ApolloJustice Phoenix, but this isn’t set during aj. This AU is set sometime after the original trilogy

i think something in common with the art i like is that they’re vibrant or dynamic. i think vibrancy i’ve got down, but dynamics not so much. something i want to work with for artfight is improving my posing and making things looking more dynamic than i have in the past, which is why i’ll be making less attacks but putting more effort into the ones i do make
