OMG! I was getting a slurpee from 7/11 and it made me wonder what slurpee flavor or flavors do you think each of the Tokyo Revengers boys would bring you as a treat?

Cherry - A true classic! These characters aren’t much for trying new things. If they like it, no need to try anything else, right? It may also be just because the other flavors sound weird too, or are broken. Cherry is a tried and true, always up and running delightful treat.

— Mikey, Kazutora, Rindou, Izana

Blue Raspberry - Also pretty tame in what flavor they will actually try. ‘Slushies only come in two genders, red and blue, and I’m blue damnit!’ - kind of vibe about it. Very fun characters though, confident in what they do and don’t like.

— Draken, Baji, Smiley, Inui, Wakasa, Senju

Mountain Dew - um. It’s easy to like, it’s easy to love. It’s a good flavor, and no one can really deny it. But when is this flavor ever available, what with the machine always busted? When they can get their hands on it, it’s like they’ve never had a slushee before. They go nuts. Crazies, but cuties.

— Chifuyu, Peh, Kakucho, Shinichiro

Cola - It just satisfies a part of you that desires a treat, but don’t really want to commit to drinking a cola-soda. After all, they can be overly syrupy, and bad for your health. Making this a great alternative!

— Takemitchi, Pah, Naoto, Benkei

Pina-Colada - A delight! These characters have probably circle through what flavors they normally get pretty often. Never getting two of the same flavor in consecutive trips, this is a good pick for a hot summer day.

— Emma, Mitsuya, Hakkai (always just gets what Mitsuya gets), Yuzuha, Ran, Ryusei

Peach - perhaps the least sought after flavor. It’s usually okay, if perhaps not very flavorful. But that’s the appeal, not too heavy on one flavor, light and delightful. Nothing against it, but they don’t think too much about getting this flavor.

— Sanzu, Angry, Hina, Kokonoi

Do you have Yumi & Yasuda headcanons? I had the realization that they go to the same school. They're both underrated TokRev girls imo. I'd like to know how you think they'd interact with one another (and with the other TokRev girls too, i.e. Hina, Emma, Yuzuha, & Senju)

Well it's never mentioned they go to the same school but I agree with you. They wear a similar uniform and we know Yasuda attends the same school as Pah and Peh, and I think it's very likely that Yumi would want to attend their school too. But anyway these are the headcanons i have for them!

Yumi

Yumi ships Peh and Yasuda and tried pretty hard to get the two of them together (inviting them on double dates with her and Pah etc).

She seems very kind, however under all that kindness she also has an incredibly chaotic side. Like that's the reason she wasn't phased by anything at her wedding because she's more chaotic then anything the others could've done.

She takes notes for Pah and Peh when they skip class

She loves sweets, has a total sweet tooth!

Yumi's also a very touch heavy person when speaking to people, she'll touch people's arms and hands a lot while talking (this nearly made Hakkai faint when they first met).

She slowly started to change from bully to friend because of influence from Pah and Peh.

Pah felt so guilty after stabbing Osanai that he wrote Yumi a letter telling her to never talk to him again and to just forget about him. Yumi of course refused to stick to that and said she still wanted to be with him (after telling him off for saying such a thing to her and assuming it's best for her just to forget about him).

Actually while Pah was locked up Yumi spent a lot more time with Peh. They kept each other company while Pah was gone. She also spent more time trying to get Yasuda and Peh closer together.

Yumi also gets along really well with Pochi

Her parent's weren't around a lot, they were very busy with work. Which is why her earlier behavior went unchecked and why she suddenly had to move (her parent's got a promotion).

She gets along with all the other girls but her favourite is Senju (besides Yasuda) because they match each other's energies often.

Has no problems with lying to avoid trouble (especially if it's for her friends).

Met Yasuda after wanting to hang out with Pah and Peh and they went to get Mitsuya. She was impressed with how Yasuda stood up to them when interrupting her club.

Yasuda 

She wasn't sure what to make of Yumi at first. When she first noticed her, Yasuda was apologetic for shouting then got a bit nervous around her (she assumed Yumi was also a delinquent). But after Yumi dropped by more often, Yasuda realised she was actually nice and they became friends.  

She's very good at baking, while in school she would make Mitsuya and Yumi treats often (Pah and Peh usually tried to steal some from her).

Yasuda was also close to Mana and Luna, she was often the one babysitting them when their mother was working and Mitsuya was attending toman meetings and fights.

Her and Peh confessed to each other mid bickering 

When she first met Hakkai it was the awkwardest meeting ever. Yasuda was intimidated by how big and scary he looked and Hakkai was intimidated because she's a girl. They both remained silent, refusing to look at each other until Mitsuya intervened.

She has a history with delinquent's and used to get bullied by a group of them when she was younger.

At least once she heard there was a delinquent in the school who wanted to see Mitsuya and went to go yell at them (assuming it was Peh or one of his friends again). Instead she started yelling at some random guy who was actually there to beat Mitsuya up and he was so baffled he just left.  

She hand sews all of Peh and her friend's birthday presents.

Actually gets along with Draken though, despite his appearance she found him to be a generally nice guy. (She teams up with him and Hakkai to throw Mitsuya's birthday parties). 

She helped Yumi organise her wedding

Yasuda's favourite girl (besides Yumi) is Emma. Because she admires how Emma easily stands up to the delinquents and Emma also knows a bit about sewing.

platinum hair falls onto your pillow as sanzu stretches. you watch from your vanity, lips pulling into a small smile as he sighs. his phone chimes - a frown scrunches his face immediately.

"what's with the frown, hm? your friends are waiting for you."

"would rather be here," sanzu grumbles. he stands, chin settling on your shoulder as he stands behind the chair you're on. he lets out a groan, "would rather be anywhere else."

"san-" pearlescent eyes meet yours in the mirror, glaring into view. you digress, "haru. go be with your friends."

he lets out another loud, long groan that vibrates against your back. "whatever. i'll be back soon."

"and i'll be waiting!" you brush your lips against the top of his head. sanzu straightens up at the touch, pushing his face closer to you, for a better, proper kiss. you pepper his face with love, watching as his mouth curled up happily. "go have fun."

you couldn't lie. not like this - not to her. hinata trembles as she stands in front of you, clementine eyes watery and swollen. the letter in her hand is ripped - torn to shreds by your own hand.

it shakes as she holds it - so tightly that her knuckles have changed colors. she sniffs, "you're not going."

it's not a question - it's something you both already know. you sigh, hiding your exhaustion and hoping she takes it for something else. "i told you i wouldn't get in."

"then i'm staying."

"hina-"

"we promised." her hands shake along with her voice this time. "we're supposed to go to the same school. same dorm. same- everything!"

hinata sucks in a deep breath, centering herself as she closes her eyes. she looks at you again, "you're staying, i'm staying."

your own lip starts to tremble as you look away from her. "i can't ask you to ruin your life for me."

"it's not ruined," her hand clenches yours now. "not when it's spent with you."

— HAKKAi! ♥︎ “why are you shaking up my heart?”

yuzuha twirls her hair into a ponytail as she lets out a huff. you sneak a look at her homework - she's just as confused as you. her eyes roll to the ceiling before she speaks over her shoulder. "is there something you need?"

you turn, seeing half of hakkai. he squeaks once your eyes land on him, the rest of his body hiding behind the wall. you hold in a giggle, sending a wave his way instead. "hi, hakkai!"

"don't encourage him." yuzuha mumbles. there's shuffling, then mutters before hakkai is back in sight. his cheeks to his ears are a bright, rosy pink.

he clears his throat a few times. "for... for you. snacks." hakkai's voice is tender, quiet as he speaks. a few bags are placed in front of you, various flavors and treats being presented. hakkai lingers, gulping before he rushes off.

yuzuha narrows her eyes at the new treats, "aren't these all your favorites?"

"um," you double check them. they are your favorites. you bite your lip, "i don't think so! you like this one, right?"

seemingly distracted, she shuffles through the snacks one more time. you sneak a look to the other side of the room where hakkai has hidden in the doorway once again. you send him a smile, watching as he visibly tenses, face turning completely red now.

you let the grin linger, turning and grabbing something sweet from the pile.

— DRAKEN! ♥︎ “mold a pretty lie for you.”

"what a day!" draken flops onto the couch with a heavy sigh. you bite your cheek, hiding your bitten and torn nails from his view. he looks your way, "i thought they'd never let me leave the shop."

"really?' your voice sounds warbled and tired - aching. you clear your throat, passing your steaming, half-drunk tea his way. "what happened?"

draken begins, speaking of picky customers ; unhelpful coworkers ; anything and everything above. you try your best to listen - try to swallow and gulp down your own bad day to showcase his.

you always admired his storytelling before. believed it would show emotions he usually hid - gestures he usually wouldn't do. but, now - today - every move draken made hurt.

he wouldn't notice your own distress ; wouldn't notice how overwhelmed you were. at no one's fault but your own. prioritizing others - making sure you and your feelings were pushed aside - it was something you were used to.

a bad habit you wouldn't ever change.

the mug was now empty - draken had finished his recollection minutes ago. he was watching you now - how you blankly stared, but continued to nod your head along to words no one was saying.

a hand settles on your knee. "doll," draken's voice is gentle, "talk to me."

your bottom lip wobbles and the dam bursts.

she giggles as you brush a pretty, shimmery pigment over her eyelids. your own grin settles on your lips, though you try to scold her anyways. "emma! sit still!"

"it tickles," she whines. blinking her eyes open, the blond makes sure to pout as dramatically as she can. "and you're taking forever."

you mock her silently, brushing blush onto her cheeks now. "blah, blah, blah. i'm almost done."

true to your word, you're finished with her impromptu makeover moments later. emma smacks her lips together, fluffing her hair as she looks in the mirror.

"this color is nice," she speaks up. patting her cheeks in satisfaction, she nods to herself. "i need to use it more often."

"you look wonderful - you're welcome." emma sticks her tongue out at you before turning back to the mirror. "my turn now?"

"your turn?" emma blinks. you nod slowly, tilting your head. "aren't you already wearing makeup?"

shaking your head, you have no time to speak before emma is sitting on the bed in front of you. her eyes are wide as she sits on her knees, towering above you. "no way!"

emma lets out a breath that sounds like a sigh as she holds your face between her hands. "you're so pretty. that's so unfair. you- you're-" she lets out another sigh.

her hands fall down insync with her head falling to your shoulder. "how unfair. you're so unfair."

so what about you're invited by someone to a new year's party (maybe at the haitani's) and you go with your friends (your choice if Emma/hina's group or yuzuha or senju).

you and Ran have something, but you're not a couple yet. like you text eachother sometimes but nothing sexual and he flirts with you but you didn't have a date yet (Rin thinks Ran is interested in you if he keeps texting you even if there's nothing sexual going on YK I LIKE BITCH RAN).

so you doll up, you dress up real good because you want to take the next step with him and have THE TALK about "what are we?"

but when you arrive at the party (you're nervous) and start searching him you find him smoking with some girl, HE'S DOING NOTHING (maybe some flirts) but the girl keeps laughing and be touchy-touchy with him and they don't even notice you. so you're jealous and also angry because he didn't say "hi" to you.

when LATER he notices you, he tries to flirt with you but you give him the silent treatment and he's mad because he doesn't know why.

PLUS you begin to flirt with casual dudes just to get on his nerve, at this point you have a little argument where you explain that you're jealous and he without thinking says that you can't be jealous because you're not a THING (he's jealous too) so you cry and go home and the new year's party is ruined for you (I like a little angst).

LATER in the middle of the night (I like to think that the tenjiku boys + sanzu have sleepovers after parties, cause they're drunk) the boys try to talk to him (I LIKE THEM, I NEED SOME BROS INTERACTION BETWEEN THEM) and he explain the situation. so the next day he calls you to tell you that he's outside your dorm (let's imagine they are in college) and YK you're now a thing and things escalated 🌶️

How can one’s life go from being put though some of the same horrendous bs as Mikey/Yuzuha to being happy like Hina still seems to be beyond my comprehension but I can not deny as of today ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in this life is POSSIBLE!! Whilst I'm at it, if the cast decided to write fanfiction, would they write, what tropes would they be fond of and who would be writing the filthiest and freakiest of smut you can think of.

Ok so assuming everyone had to write one and they couldn't say no this is what I came up with

Takemichi- superhero fic, very cliche, follows pretty much every trope. It's dedicated to Hina too (she loved reading it). It's probably got something to do with a 4 leaf clover in the name.

Mikey- Writes fic about Taiyaki kun being the hero, probably a long adventure type story, taiyaki kun rides a motorbike at one point, it's a wild read.

Draken- He'd likely be very big on the found family trope, you just know his fic would be about some rag tag group coming together and bonding to the point of becoming family (the villian is probably based on Hanma).

Hina- oh definitely romance, the hero saves the girl, the girl saves the hero. She just writes the perfect couple and then overcoming any obstacles together in their way.

Emma- Romance #2, she writes the cutest fluff you can think of.

Naoto- Probably a horror mystery with plenty of occult themes and references. He looks key really enjoys writing it so it's probably a long multiple chapter fic, with a bunch of people following it.

Kisaki- Story about the hero however with a major plot twist towards the end showing the hero was actually the bad guy. It's actually very well done and clever despite how cliche it may sound.

Hanma- ok I see two possible ones here, either he takes it seriously and writes one of the most interesting fics ever (hey he knows whats exciting and what makes a good story) or he absolutely does not take this seriously and writes the smuttiest smut to have ever smutted and attempts to annoy the others with it.

Kazutora- i think he might do something a bit different and write it in letter format, as in character's sending letter's to each other. Letter's probably mean a lot to him and he's likely the most comfortable writing in that format so he uses it in his fics.

Baji- Cat story!!!!! There's definitely some kind of big cat fight scene (baji can't resist) but ultimately it's a happy story. He probably also makes a few spelling errors but it's ok since Chifuyu helps him correct anything. 

Chifuyu- Was tempted by Baji's cat story but settles on a person romance instead. It is full of manga references and the girl eventually kisses the guy after he gave her a polkadot based surprise. Probably a soul mate au.

Mitsuya- very detailed fic, like expect everything to have every last detail described (especially people's clothes).

Hakkai- space story! Probably a self insert about him going to space and being a hero (when he comes back mitsuya is incredibly proud of him).

Pah & Peh- They do everything together including fic writing. Definitely a story about two friends (them two), is a happy story about these two friends vs the world.

Smiley- fights, fights and more fights, everyone just wants to beef each other here.

Angry- I think he would write am interactive type fic, like the type where people comment and choose what they want to happen next, I just think he'd enjoy the interactions with people.

Mucho- coffee shop/ bakery au! Actually probably writes about his friends working there, izana is the manager, kakucho the assistant manager, sanzu is a loyal customer, mucho himself prepares the cakes, the Haitani brother's face the customers, mochi handles the drive thru and shion is the dishwasher who keeps breaking things. 

Sanzu- definitely a royalty au about a king and his loyal soldier. 

Inui- probably heavily use the miscommunication causes the main issue trope, he's seen it irl and knows it really can cause a bunch of problems.

Koko- probably a fix it fic, writes about a fire but this time no one dies, the girl gets saved and ends up happily living with her rescuer. This is probably actually something he uses to work through his regrets.

Yuzuha- a cute fic about a sister protecting her brother, she probably beats all the bad guys easily (and the brother's phone lockscreen is of the sister)

Izana & Kakucho- they work together to make another royalty au but this one focusing on the king and his kingdom, the story of this king creating his new world.

Ran- oh definitely a very obvious self insert story. The main character? Flawless hair, everyone loves him, has a little brother who adores him, dresses famously, treated like a celebrity. The guys name is probably like nar or something. Just basically his perfect life, tries to make it very poetic too.

Rindou- probably actually a song fic, the type with lyrics to match the mood. He just expresses himself a lot through music so brings it into his writing too.

Shion- another one with a self insert fic, this one really does go over the top though. Writes himself to practically conquer the world, winning every fight he gets into. 

Senju- Probably a fun adventure fic, I think she would also be pretty big on it being a family adventure/ a found family adventure.

The room was lighted in dim light, pink and purple fluorescents giving it the ambience of party the group needed. There, in that small room with a television and a couple of mics they would perform the best concert ever given.

Kazutora was sat next to you, one of his arms placed lightly on your shoulders while observing how the other four tried to sing a song to see if the machine was working. He knew the group of Mikey and all of those were coming and he didn't like it one bit. Yes, he was friends with Baji, and he had nothing against Chifuyu, but the rest of them were scam to his eyes.

All of them decided to keep that information away from the girl next to him. You knew Draken, Takemichi and Mikey were coming, and he was sure you wouldn't mind for Baji and Chifuyu to appear, too. But they had learned recently thanks to Yuzuha what happened between you and Mitsuya and he wasn't sure how you would react at seeing him. Emma assured them that if she had known before about your past she would have asked Draken to please not invite his friends.

He turned his head to gaze at you. You were beautiful, he knew it, he had known for a long time now. He always joked about how he would never fuck you, but he wished it was true because for the last few months you hadn't gone away from his mind and he hated it. You were friends, he liked the dynamic you both had, so why did he had to start liking you? And why did Mikey had to appear? Why did you invite that shrimp to comfort you instead of him? Oh, yeah, he remembered. He had been too busy and he needed to keep a distance from you. He had been doing so for a few weeks. The worst of all? It seemed like you hadn't noticed. But was it really that bad? Wasn't that what he wanted? For everything to turn back to normal? He didn't know anymore.

And now Yuzuha told him an asshole had broken your heart. How could anyone mistreat such a kind soul? That's why he didn't want to be with you as anything else than friends, he wasn't the best man out there and hurting you more than what you had suffered already didn't seem like an option to him.

"Are you going to sing, Tora?" your sweet voice took him out of his thoughts.

"No." he answered simply, feigning boredom.

"Oh? Why not?"

"I won't be here long enough to sing, I have a... date."

You nodded, understanding what he meant. That's how he called his encounters with people he had fucked with.

The sound of the door brought your attention to the group entering. Takemichi first, going straight to Hina to hug her. Next, Draken, who had been thrown to the floor by his girlfriend. Baji and Chifuyu entered together, nothing strange. Mikey stepped next, his eyes wandering around to find... you. He smiled, running to where Kazutora and you were, ignoring his rival's presence.

"Hello!" he greeted, teeth showing and eyes bright as stars.

"Hi." you smiled, a real smile. It was true that you didn't consider yourselves friends yet, but Mikey was a good guy and you couldn't help but feel lighter at his presence, "I'm glad you could make it."

"Wouldn't miss it for the world," he nodded, taking a sit on your other side, his body turned to yours, "I love singing! And I was thinking that maybe... and just maybe, we could make a duo?" he asked, nervousness in his voice and hand scraping the back of his neck. You thought about it, it's true you didn't want to interact with boys with romantic intentions, however, it was a great way to bond and form a friendship.

"Yeah, why not? What type of music do you like?"

"Really? Cool!" Mikey relaxed, "I'm good with whatever, pick the song you want."

"Perfect then."

Kazutora watched the interaction with a grimace, hating the way Mikey had made you smile. But, as he saw Mitsuya entering the room, he thanked that at least you were distracted, even if it wasn't because of him.

But Mitsuya wasn't happy. Ever since Mikey had taken a liking to you he's been looking for the way to talk things with you. He understood what he did wrong and he was ready to try again, but how could he when Mikey was in between? His friend, who didn't know about you and Mitsuya, was trying to woo you and wasn't very subtle about it.

He could feel Yuzuha's gaze burning on his back and making him shiver. She hated him and she had all the right to do so, as she was the one having to help you go through what he did to you. He knew he wasn't welcome there, but he had to talk to you, he had to explain to you everything he had realized and show you he had changed.

"If I were you, I wouldn't go near her." a deep voice whispered on his ear, Hakkai towering over him from behind.

"I just want to talk." Mitsuya excused himself, making sure no one's attention was on them.

"Stop being selfish and leave her alone. First warning." and like that, Hakkai walked away and met with his sister, Hina, Emma and their respective boyfriends.

Baji and Chifuyu were singing 'Baby it's cold outside'. The baritone and tenor voices perfect together. You and Mikey were cheering them both, still sat and forgetting about Kazutora. The latter surprised that the girl hadn't seen Mitsuya yet.

"Do you like Taylor Swift?" you asked.

"Uh... I know a couple of songs," mumbled Mikey, afraid of singing I Knew You Were Trouble.

"Hum, then what about One Direction?" Mikey just nodded, he liked to see you talking, but he had something to offer.

"I know I told you you could pick, but can I suggest a song?" the boy asked, flustered.

"Yeah, sure. Which one?" your eyes were curious, genuinely waiting for him to propose a song, his heart bursting on his chest.

"What about Don't go breaking my heart? It's a good song to sing in a duo."

You fell silent. What now? Mikey saw your expression, and quickly explained himself.

"I don't mean it as in a romantic way! I promise! It's just a good song. My brother usually sings it on the shower." he had just exposed Shinichiro, but it was all in the name of love.

That reasoning seemed fair to you, who just nodded and smiled again.

"Okay, then."

Mikey couldn't stop jumping on his place, excited to sing with the girl of his dreams. Too good to be true. Draken observed the both of you, Emma had told him she was planning on helping Mikey, and he had been dragged into her plan. He wasn't against the idea, though, Mikey had never been interested in anyone romantically, and you looked like a good girl. It was in that moment he saw Mitsuya, jaw tightened while he looked like he could bury Mikey at that exact instant.

"The fuck?" he asked to himself, confused.

"I have something to tell you." he heard Emma say.

That's how Draken was told about Mitsuya and you, surprised to know what his friend had done, Mitsuya didn't seem like that kind of guy. Then again, he would like to hear his version, at the end of the day they were friends.

It was yours and Mikey's turn to sing. You had to admit you were feeling like it, Mikey had an aura that invited you to be closer to him and to feel like everything would be alright by his side. Emma had told you a lot of people used to look up at him when he was at high school and you understood why, he had a leader's soul.

You took her mic and Mikey his, looking at you in a way that took your breath away. You hadn't been looked at like that in a long time, memories coming back to you and a knot forming on your throat. No, he wasn't him, and you weren't going to let his memory ruin your duo with your future new friend.

"You okay?" asked Mikey, frowning as the music started.

"Yeah, perfect!" you diverted his attention, signalling him it was his turn to sing.

He had a beautiful voice, melodic and angelic. You felt as if you had had been ascended to heaven and sang your part lost on his performance. You loved karaoke, and you had just found your perfect karaoke partner: Mikey.

Unbeknown to you, the whole room was looking expectantly at you, each of them for different reasons. Chifuyu, Takemichi, Emma and Hina were rooting for you to kiss; Baji and Draken were half smiling half huffing at the sight of a good performance and chemistry; Yuzuha and Hakkai were worried for you, wanting you to be happy but afraid of another heartbreak, the song sounding as an omen; Kazutora was suffering on the inside, it had been his decision to not step in and he promised to never confess to you, but it didn't mean that it didn't hurt to see you getting closer to another man, specially his rival; Mitsuya was fuming, he never thought you and his friend could look that good together, and worst, gain chemistry in a shitty Karaoke room.

"... I gave you my heart, Oh, I gave you my heart." you sang, suddenly looking to the left and seeing Mitsuya.

Your mic felt off you hand, you couldn't hear the music anymore. What was he doing there? How much time had he been there? Why was he there? Your legs trembled, you starting shaking and you felt an anxiety attack building on your chest.

Mikey noticed the lack of your voice, that voice that had him on a trance. When he looked at you, he saw you trembling form. He approached you, worried.

"Y/n?" he asked, posing his hand on your shoulder, "What's wrong?"

He followed your gaze when he didn't obtain an answer, and he saw you looking at Mitsuya. He was confused, why would Mitsuya cause you to look as if you had just seen a ghost? Your chest was raising and falling at an unnatural pace, and the three lovesick boys surrounded you in less than a second.

"Y/n, hey, it's okay." Kazutora reassured you, taking Mikey's hand away from your shoulder.

"What the hell do you think you're doing." asked the blond, frowning at Kazutora.

"Calming her, what else?"

Forgetting the panic attack of the girl, they started bickering, not too long after throwing fists at each other. Half the room was focused on trying to stop the fight, and the other half was worried with Mitsuya being so close to you.

"Y/n, breath with me, c'mon love." Mitsuya mumbled, his hand touching yours.

In that moment, you reacted. You took your hand away and shook your head, getting away from the man in front of you. Why did he had to ruin your afternoon with your friends? You started searching for an escape route as Mitsuya neared you again. Why wasn't anyone helping you?

You looked around, gaze misty, and you saw two figures... fighting? What was going on? Your breathing got worst and, before Yuzuha or Mitsuya could stop you, you run to the door, opened it and rushed away from there.

"Y/n! Wait!"

The sound of the door got everyone's attention again, Mikey and Kazutora stopped fighting and noticed that you weren't in the room. Had you left?

As Mitsuya was going to rush after you, Hakkai took the collar of his shirt and stopped him, looking furious.

"I told you to leave her alone."

That action caused Baji to interfere, why was a guy trying to pick a fight with Mitsuya? Specially with Mitsuya, who was the calmer of them all.

"Take your filthy hands off of him, pretty boy."

Like that, Kazutora approached Baji, trying to explain him the situation, but Draken got to him before he could reach his friend and another fight started. Emma wondered in that moment why she had to invite his boyfriend and his friends, regretting ever wanting to fuse both groups into one.

Hina watched how Takemichi went to stopped the fight, earning a punch from he didn't know who. He ended up fighting -pathetically- too.

Yuzuha was trying to contact you, but you weren't picking the phone. What if something happened to you? You were in a very vulnerable state, and she couldn't help but blame Mitsuya. And Mikey, too. Didn't he know? If he was as smitten as he was with you he sure would have stopped Mitsuya from going to the karaoke.

But Mikey was as lost as an octopus in a garage. Why did you leave? Did you know Mitsuya? Why had you reacted like that? He had so many questions, but his priority was to find you. He ran out the door, sending a message to Draken so when they stopped fighting, he would know where he went.

Kazutora left him leave, he would have loved to be him who went to look for you and who comforted you, but Mikey seemed to have done a good job that time at your house and maybe, just maybe, he could do as well this time. It was time yield to his enemy.

“Your heart eyes are showing, Hakkai.” Mitsuya teases with a nudge to Hakkai’s side while he rolls his eyes. He didn’t need to be that obvious but when your smile was as bright as day, there was no other effort to put just for it to look like he’s just casually staring.

Fresh from school, Yuzuha and his brother alongside Mitsuya was on their way to ride their motorcycles but one of them stood to pause and admire you from afar as you converse with your friends. He’d do this often, stay a little later to catch up to you and hope to spark a conversation with you but it doesn’t seem to happen that easy.

“Yeah okay, let’s go home. “ he gives up making his sister sigh since she was getting impatient of your minimal amount of interaction. She could understand it though, your schedule was packed with matches and trainings that you’re always excused in classes, but she can’t stand watching her brother blow up a perfectly good chance.

“Hey, Y/N!” Yuzuha calls out for you as Mitsuya stifles a laugh at how Hakkai tugged on his sleeve at what her sister did. You bid goodbye to your friends, making your way to them. It wasn’t like you were strangers to their group even if it that was how other people would look at it. You were classmates with Yuzuha and you’d join their table at lunch from time to time but you’d usually sit with a few of your teammates since you’d have to go to training after it. Hakkai thought his sister was a mix of bringing good luck and karma—but he can’t really blame her because she was the reason you two met in the first place and his sister is willing to pull strings for him to be with you.

An example is when you’d return your notebook to her, she’d catch on what time you drop by just so Hakkai could get it from you while she disappears into the scene.

“Hey, Hakkai.” You greeted him with a soft smile as you look around the room for Yuzuha. You weren’t present in class today because training started since morning so you were free during lunch as to why you stopped by. Hakkai snickers at the trick his sister just pulled but insists in trying to calm himself down. “Sure thing.”

“Is it okay if I hand you her notebooks? I was done copying the notes I missed but I guess she’s at the bathroom.” You reasoned before he lends his hand out for you to place the two notebooks in but a hooligan classmate of yours bump into you, running from the halls to enter your room where you were stood at the door frame causing the notebooks to fall from your hands along with a harsh push from your side due to their roughness.

“Idiots! Look where you’re going. “ he sends them a glare as he looks at you concerned, a hand to your forearm where they had ran to. “Everything okay?” he asks with a tender tone to his voice while you wave him off, fazed at how he looked at you. “I’m fine. “

Crouching down, the two of you pick up one notebook for each but he’s zoned out at how your hair fell to your eyes when you looked down. Instinctively with a shaking hand, he reaches to push back your hair to the back of your ear while you both stared at each other, shocked in your own reasons. Coughing, he immediately stands up the same time as you before he hands your notebook with heat to his cheeks.

“You guys have any matches coming up?” he tried to swerve the topic to avoid the awkwardness from what happened. “We do and it’s on Friday.”

“Good luck then, Y/N. Knowing you, you’ve got this.” he encourages you with a timid smile while you appreciate his support but the way he tucked your hair was still replaying in your mind like a broken record.

“Thanks, Hakkai. Tell Yuzuha my thanks, I’ll just message her later if I get home early. See you later. “ you bid him goodbye with your heart caught up in clouds.

“Hey guys!” You said happily. You already spare a glance to him not knowing he was already staring back.

“There you are, we miss you, you know. “ Yuzuha greets you with an embrace as you chuckled. “I told you I’d make it up to you by Saturday. “

“Any matches, Y/N? “ Mitsuya asks as you responded with the same thing you told Hakkai. He shortly shifts his gaze to the taller boy just to watch how his attention was directed towards you and no one else.

“Friday huh? That’s tomorrow! We’ll see you there, of course. “

“You guys have classes, you don’t have to.” you insisted but his sister argues back. “Text me the stadium location tonight. Go home and rest okay?”

“Fine fine.” You knew you couldn’t win against her so you just gave in while Mitsuya sends a rather aggressive pat to Hakkai’s back as the two of you turned to the boys, curious to what was happening.

“Hakkai can drive you home.” He offers out of the blue as Yuzuha covers her mouth to refrain herself from giggling at Mitsuya.

“Really? I was about to say mine ran out of gas but—is that okay with you?” You asked turning to him while his goes to his nape. “Yeah, Yuzuha will just go with Taka-chan.” He reminds her and while your name was called as you turned around, his eyes widen towards the two who were giggling.

“It was nice talking to you guys, I’ll see you tomorrow. “ you said stood beside Hakkai’s motorcycle and the two wave to you before getting Mitsuya’s bike. Sighing, he hands you his only helmet.

“You can have it, I’ll be fine.” You denied but he just shakes his head. “Hey, I have to make sure you’re safe for your first time riding a motorcycle.” He teased while you took it anyway, treasuring his care as you hopped on the motorcycle, securing the helmet while Hakkai did the same.

“You should—hold onto me.” He shyly instructs you making you nod. You wrapped your arms around his waist as the two of you feel flustered at something so dainty, still it makes him smile before you two take off.

Needless to say, it was a silent ride but each of you had your hearts dancing in glee at the close contact with either smiles painted on both lips even as you reached your house. You then removed the helmet, leaving the motorcycle while you stood at the front with Hakkai following suit.

“Thanks for tonight, I had fun.” His eyes loved the way you stoodout even if the dreamy hues of the sky were supposed to be the main view. Looking at you right now with the wind passing through your hair, he thinks that there no other way to escape from his adoration towards you.

“It’s nothing. I’d say good luck but I’m sure you guys would win tomorrow. “ he says with a smile and your stare mirrors his own.

“Thank you but I have my own lucky charm just in case we go through some trouble.”

Right now, he figures if you feel the same. Was it impossible? He doesn’t think so, he believes in a slight chance because of the way you’d act when he was around or maybe you were just only treating him as a friend?

Even so, there’s only one way to find out.

“Goodnight, Y/N.”

“Goodnight, Hakkai.”

As you both went in different directions, there was still that urge to speak a few more words that you needed to say but you both assumed that it wasn’t the proper time since you two were unprepared for the half of it.

But when he’s back at home, there’s a hand to his hair while he looks for his sister. While he was on his motorcycle, he already thought of the solution to confirm this situation he’s stuck in so he thought of one person who he could count on for this matter. Yuzuha comes down from her room, Hakkai already faces his first problem.

“I wanna confess to her tomorrow—I need your help.”

“Say less, little brother.” When she pulls out her phone to contact the girls for extra assistance, he just tilts his head at how ready she was but he realizes she must’ve waited for this moment since forever so he simply laughs at her immense focus to provide for his confession. Few minutes pass and he’s being tugged away by her.

“We’re heading over to Mikeys’ house.” She informs him while had no time to question since they were already out the door and he just follows through her instructions as they visit the Sano household who also included Draken.

“You should ask Y/N on a date.” Mikey says, munching through a sandwich while Draken chuckles. “That’s why he’s here.”

“Let’s get this going!” Emma and Yuzuha cheer, grabbing their materials and calling for Hana to complete their group as the boys sat and stared but they were ready to help out any time.

The night begins with them planning out whatever was the best for him to be comfortable with while being eye-catching for your side and he somewhat enjoys how he was pouring effort and planning just for tomorrow. He told them that he didn’t want to seem too fast paced with his actions or look like he was getting ahead of himself to think you’d agree that quick.

Anything for her. Hakkai thinks as he smiles before painting the last letter for their finalized design.

“Why can’t Draken give me something like this?” Emma pouts making the two girls laugh as Hana lends a happy hand to his shoulder, liking how in love he was.

“She’s going to love this.” She comforts him while Hakkai appreciates the amount of support the girls gave him.

“We’ll see tomorrow.”

I’m late, goddamn it. I don’t think I can do this, he worriedly thinks as he enters the stadium, a tight grip on the sign while the same girls from last night as well a few of Toman came to support the both of you for today’s events.

He’d spent his time listening to their advices to present it better, what message would be more heartwarming or even catchy. Because of how late they got to sleep it results to him waking up late but rushes to the store to buy flowers and a basket filled with what Yuzuha claimed to be your favorite snacks. It shows the trials he went through just to make sure it didn’t look like he did it half-assed which was surely something he didn’t do. He wanted to be simple yet genuine because you deserved to be courted that way.

When he sees your team warming up fixated on the right side of the court while you were ready spike the ball, the second half beginning already. He could feel the anxiousness rise to him. He tries to overcome his worries because you were quite popular already and noticing how the other boys who’d admire you exactly like him—he merely doubts that he’s the only one who’d try make a move but he wishes that he can still be acknowledged despite falling in line to your suitors. Yuzuha notices how his hands start to fiddle with it each other knowing he was immersed in his insecurities.

“You’re going to be fine, I can tell that Y/N would notice you and you only.” They assured him while the game begins as he hesitates. “Do you think I should raise it now? Is that too sudden?” he asks, while they look at each other waiting for the right time to do so. He could feel the regret kicking him because of how late he’d been but seeing you play that devoted and skilled was still a sight he can’t get rid of.

“They’re too ahead of us.” One of your teammates panted while you snickered. The first half was already theirs so you had two more chances to win this and it seems it reflects on how the pressure is starting to build up on you. Your coach calls for a timeout while you wiped away the sweat on your forehead as you walked to the side, drinking your water, a bit frustrated how they managed to turn the opportunities to them.

As you discuss the plans for the game, a few glances were towards you but you were too attentive to what your coach was saying and when he dismisses, you there’s a tap to your shoulder pointing to a certain section in the stands as you look to their direction.

Standing above the rest of your friends was Hakkai proudly holding up a sign, a chuckle to his lips escape him when you’re eyes met before you read what was written.

Your heart took a bit of storm at your invitation but there’s a bright grin on your lips just like usual, covering your mouth to chuckle at his request. Even more so that the girls were holding their own signs, holding them high with pride.

Yuzuha didn’t write herself a sign because she was holding onto the basket of gifts for you but she was also laughing at how perfect the timing was. Even the guys were cheering Hakkai and your team on, bringing additional support to the game and to their friend.

The crowd had their eyes on you and your teammates were patting your back, happy for you while they could sense how it shifted your mood to a much better one.

“Ready to do this?” one of them asked and you took one look at your lucky charm and you already knew the answer.

“Let’s win.”

And thanks to your boost of energy along with the coordination and hard work of your team, you took the victory for today’s match and there’s nothing else that could excite you then to be with Hakkai already. After the game and your team was already packed up, you rush to meet them, a permanent smile to your lips while your eyes finally land on his tall figure. Yuzuha is holding the sign for him before he taps on his shoulder to turn around and he was greeted by an embrace from you that leaves a sigh of relief from him.

His arms already circle around your waist as your head was deep in his shoulder, heart’s racing uncontrollably.
