Here we see the family turning up to provide assistance to Bruce, as Bane’s busily trying to break him again.

Bruce’s response to Tim’s offer…is to punch him in the jaw.

Now. It is important to know that in the course of this plot, Tom King later defines this as a scheme of Bruce’s; that Bruce is communicating to everyone that comms are compromised and that they need to use more subtle methods:

King is having Bruce claim he wouldn’t hit one of his kids this way without a reason; because he did hit Tim this way, everyone would read the deeper message in it. However, it’s still Bruce punching Tim in the jaw, to effect this message via ‘communicating by blows’.

I also want to point out that in terms of this regrouping plan, Tim got punched in the jaw, Damian got sent in and underwent significant trauma watching Alfred die, and Bruce and Selina, as I have mentioned, had a beach holiday to put the Rogues off the scent.

It’s not the most even of plans.

And then. After Damian has been captured, seen Alfred die, and ended up a prisoner in the Cave (so they have someone on the inside to help everyone else break in): various Batfam members get into a fight with Flashpoint Thomas Wayne.

I did enjoy this scene, particularly since I do love Helena and Tim having conversations with each other about violence levels, even if it’s debateable how well the two of them know each other in Rebirth; while Tim has restored memories at this stage, Helena afaik does not. Damian chiming in with a middle ground of ‘offer mercy then stab’ made me snort.

However, the outcome of Helena getting a bit too trigger happy is that…Tim gets stabbed in the chest. With Helena’s arrow.

Like, this is just unfair! Surely it is possible for Tim to spend some time in this title not getting seriously injured?

• As for "human" Walter I thought he would be pretty confidend and he knows how to use his charm. He knows exactly how to get the reaction he wants from Barb.

but now none of it works??? i cant even pause a singe thing?? and my volume controls only do global volume?????? i was so happy with it, and have no clue how i managed to set it the first time T-T

About the 1D mental health quote. I read it as the whole paragraph and not just to the sentence that ends in mental health. Louis continues that sentence saying that as an artist he was affected mentally with words too. Also we have to remember there's so much negativity that Louis can contractually say about Simon Cowell and Syco. And he said he was frustrated with syco and relieved to leave them.

Let’s say when they were giving us snippets of the interview focusing on a topic like mental health, this wasn’t what I was expecting (which says literally nothing on that matter). You gotta love printed interviews of the boys saying stuff like this. After all, You don’t bite the hand who feeds you… is that a say in English too? Idk.

Anyway, it is what it is. This doesn’t mean I was waiting for him to attack them or follow the route of sharing his mental health care routine. There were several other ways to approach this and he (?) chose the ‘you don’t understand if you are not in it’ which made me go… duh.

Saying things like ‘everyone did their best by us, talking specifically about mental health’ felt a bit unnecessary. And if you go through those words a couple of times you kinda see a bit of incoherence. “I know some of the things they say can stick with you for months, but they did their best. They couldn’t know the pressure we were under”. He looks like he’s trying to remove the hot stones from management’s back, in my opinion.

i’ve started babysitting for a VERY christian family which is great because they pay me a lot of money but as someone who was raised almost completely agnostic it’s kind of insane. the 2 year old keeps asking me to read her stories from the bible. (why are we reading david and goliath to a 2 year old????) the 5 year old told me today that he was going to bring his legos to heaven with him. he also has repeatedly told me that the lego spaceships he builds are stronger than jesus. The secret Dungeon Meshi sauce that's getting people to eat better is that it's so non-judgmental. Senshi and the rest of the gang never talk about what not to eat besides things that taste bad and literal poison. They don't even talk about "health" that much besides the importance of a balanced diet. the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
