I apologize if I continue to put up designs – the first couple of months after November have my muse sort of all over the place with stories, not really focusing one any one in particular and wanting to work on all of them at the same time, lol.  And I’m still kinda in the process of updating all my designs, so…yeah.  And there’s the fact that I want to show them off, so there’s that.

This one came about while just searching around and coming across a Genetic Experiment piece and being reminding that it’s coming up on five years since I abandoned the second book thanks to a certain event that took place in 2020.  So, naturally, my muse was all like ‘go work on those designs because that would be really cool if you went back and finished the damn thing after five years, Jesus’.  I mean, I had abandoned We Could Be Heroes in that same year, and not only did I go back and finish it, I rewrote the stupid thing already!

Granted, I couldn’t finish it, because it’s been too long, but rather restart it, but eh.  Same idea.

Now, these are designs for all three books, mostly because I never actually changed what I had very much from when I designed everything a couple of years ago.  The abandoned Genetic Origins was actually a rewrite, so I had already been planning the last book, Genetic Crisis, before that. But I’m figuring I’d put all of them up, since it’s not like any of them are hugely spoliery.

The first one is of Bri’s Generic Experiment deign.  I originally thought to have something similar to how I had drawn her the first time I had written the story, but decided to instead do something like this with the idea that, well, she’s a maid within the Black household, and thus, would probably have some sort of uniform or something?  This is cute, in any case.  (I never really describe what they’re wearing, so I can get away with redesigning clothes for a story already written, lol.)

The next one is of their Genetic Origins outfits.  The characters are, left to right, Bri Wyatt, Damien Black, Shalyee Hawkins, Danika Black (Damien’s little sister), Ian Wyatt (Bri’s younger brother), Takeshi Tataka (really Liam Wyatt, Bri’s older brother), Rachel Sedgwick, and General Sedgwick (who happens to be Rachel’s maternal grandfather, but also the villain).

Everyone but Bri doesn’t change between books, which is why I stuck them all in the GO picture.  Its really nothing too special, just a few tweeks here and there off their current designs.  I changed Shaylee’s dress into something cuter and simpler, changed Dani’s shirt style, and did something different with Takashi’s hair/shirt that makes him look way better.  I originally planning on his adapting that hairstyle in the third book as a way to hide himself a little, but I liked it so I figured screw it, I’m rewriting this so I can have him have it always, lol.

The next one is from the last book, Genetic Crisis, which I have not written at all, and only have a basic plot to.  I’m a little hesitant to write it merely because I’m not sure if I could pull off what I had in mind, and am hoping to give myself better ideas how to end the story while writing the second book.  In any case, again, I haven’t changed much with what I had designed for this story in the past other than a few style tweeks.  Shaylee gets another new dress (because I couldn’t figure her out before), and she looks great!  Dani again gets a new shirt, as does Liam (Takeshi).  I like his shirt, actually.  Oh, and I gave Ian short pants because it seemed to suit him well, and he’s adorable.  Definitely the right call there. 

The last one is of members of Damien's dragon wing - Sam Day, Shelby Hawkins (Shaylee's older sister), Lillia Greene, Blaze Hawthrone, Aaron Grey, and Brandon Stone. Again, I didn't do much to their designs other than a few tweeks to their outfits and giving Lillia a braid instead of half shaved hair. Again, very pleased with how they turned out!

So yeah, nothing new and exciting, just updated designs.  ^^;

When Dunn’s relationship with Bri was falling apart, he did the posting her thing. It was a “too little too late” gesture. To me, this proves how much on the rocks this relationship is; when a guy has been basically not showing you hardly at all and now a year and a half later, AFTER a breakup, he does? Yeah. It’s the last ditch effort. Now, it might be enough for Dani - she doesn’t have the self-respect Bri does. We all know he’s going to cheat again, though, so we will see.
