So recently I’ve been more than a little obsessed with the 1983 Jim Henson company project called “Fraggle Rock,” about all these silly little muppet creatures having crazy adventures in the cave system in which they live, called, appropriately, Fraggle rock. After watching 3/4 of the seasons, I started doodling some of my fav cats OCs as fraggles, and it just sort of spiraled from there. Dr. Coomer is the EMBODIMENT of a old and broken AI. Silly man, just a very old guy who has a crisis over realizing that he's in a game because he went out of bounds. He runs into the same trap/enemy constantly because of one area at the beginning of the game, explodes anything with the word explosive on it, cannot stop greeting the player, recites the entirety of the 2012 Wikipedia article for chairs because was was sitting in one, and is basically a permanent tutorial npc. Someone fix this man's code please.

he's a broken tutorial npc who becomes aware that he's trapped in a game and repeatedly tries to escape. he wanted to be a boxer instead of a scientist. he wants to live in super punch out for the super nintendo entertainment system but instead he's stuck in half life. you wouldn't leave him in half life, gordon? fucking half life? let him ou-- HELLO, GORDON!

still enchanted with the idea of making a little mod that does nothing but add readables. that would be within my power i think. notes, newspapers, case files, letters and such. absolutely no gameplay benefit beyond forgetting you've installed it and finding the odd letter you're sure you've never encountered. i love making tiny Things.

dazai is shameless (more accurately i think he's desensitized to the feeling of shame when he's ashamed of his own exis- actually that's a topic for another time) which is why he has no problem saying all this embarrassing shit to chuuya. "our hearts reached out to each other" is more embarrassing to us as readers than it is for him as a person. that's the guy who confessed his love to a dude he met the day before

SO in order to fluster him chuuya needs to just be nice to him. thank him compliment him be genuine smile and be kind and gentle. ik wan isn't considered canon but i sincerely believe anything that's like. character based (as in, not the actual stories, but the personalities and behaviors of everyone) is. and this is p mucc explicitly shown there, more than once even. that's his weakness 👍 that's how you can take him down. join me 🤝 i can show you beautiful things

in honor of hl2vrai having a trailer now, i rewatched all of hlvrai and went a bit insane designing comic/graphic novel covers for them! hlvrai was one of (if not the?) first things i started posting on tumblr, so this was mostly a project i did in order to show self improvement (colors, shapes, shading, expressions, etc.)

Virgil is terrified of getting a cane because his stupid monkey anxiety brain screams at him about imposter syndrome. "Sure you can't stand without being in horrid pain and also can't walk without limping, but have you tried-- I don't know, going outside? Taking a walk? Breathing some fresh air?"

Remus has to bully him into at least getting a leg brace so he doesn't freaking fall over at the self check out at Walmart.

ps. Virgil would not get a brace out of stubborn-ness but Remus finds/makes him a purple/black leg brace, which makes Virgil feel obligated to wear it cuz "oh shit he went through all the trouble I have to show him I appreciate it" and bro has a breakdown over how much it helps his condition.
