Y'all, if you haven't listened already you GOTTA. It's incredibly well made, the voice acting is stellar. I only really have a passing knowledge of folklore and especially Arthur/Camelot centric stories, but honestly it's not necessary to know a lot about them, and I've followed everything really well.

It's an incredibly interesting exploration of being doomed by the narrative, and there's a dog, a VERY good dog

Lol. It's the exact same Continuing Resolution that McCarthy passed (and then got shitcanned for his trouble). It doesn't make (as far as I heard) any major cuts to vital programs or disaster relief or other nonsense. It doesn't have Ukraine funding, because the Republicans love Putin too much to let that go without a fight, but the Senate at least is going to be considering a Ukraine-Israel funding bill in the weeks to come. This may be complicated by whether they uncouple the two, Ukraine because of pressure from the right and Israel because of pressure from the left (and imho, the two situations are not at all comparable, but nobody is asking me as a policy advisor).

At any rate, far more Democrats (all except two) voted for it, 93 Republicans voted against it, and less than three weeks in, after all the bullshit they pulled to get their favorite Daddy's Little Theocrat in charge, the extreme-right peanut gallery is unhappy that Daddy's Little Theocrat passed the exact same spending/funding bill as McCarthy. Ruh-roh.
