That was a really hard time for me in my life, because I had just lost my dad. I remember that summer, and it was a lot of really good healing with those guys out in Henley-on-Thames playing croquet and ping pong, and just whatever games we could get our hands on -- darts, table football, pool, anything. We were just obsessed with games. And then visiting Hayden in London when they were filming. Again, Star Wars kind of comes back into my life during strange times. i unironically love the eddieana breakup scene. the way that it’s happening in the kitchen of all places! the green of eddie’s shirt compared to the light blue of ana’s. eddie saying we need to talk. anna replying those four words. a twist on how ‘i love you’ can sometimes be referred to as those three little words. the way that it could be cruel but neither of them really make a move past the line between civil and passive aggressive. I thought it would work. the idea of us. chris loves you so much. i just thought - that eventually you would too? how they both end up on opposite sides of the kitchen. with eddie’s back to the fridge. and when ana does leave, eddie’s alone in the kitchen, and you can still hear her voice echoing goodbye to chris. Dang, being nonhuman really is just like being trans, where I look back at my life and go, "Ohhhhhhhh, so THAT'S where it came from." It's easy for me to fall into the habit of thinking, "Well I just found this new label but I don't want it to infiltrate my whole life." But... it already has. All those moments pretending to be a cat on the playground, making fake "dog packs" with my friends, wrestling with my dog and laying next to her as if I was just another pup, attaching to my dog and cat stuffed animals, making dog-like noises to supplement my words, pretending I had (and still have) a tail to wag when I wanted, shaking out my "fur" and huffing just because I "liked mimicking my dog"—those were all my nonhumanity shining through. Me identifying with the nonhuman/therian label isn't an outliner, it's just the trend.

i also think this monday is a good reminder for everyone to remember that no matter what, you are also loved. sometimes being a human can feel like the most loneliest experience to be, but there will always be someone who sees something and thinks of you, who will have you on their mind, or simply see you post / in their notifications and simply light up because they got to hear from you / see you that day.

it doesn't matter how bad your day was or how badly you feel about yourself, the love will never go away. sometimes its not visible, but doesn't make it gone either way.
