earlier today i posted about having a breakdown. i had a breakdown bc i tried going a day without smoking weed bc i wanted to try and focus on my hw for the day. for the first 4 hours i got less than half an assignment done. i couldnt stop thinking about rehab, tv shows i havent finished yet, my exes, the stupid decisions ive made and where they got me, and then after i had my breakdown i went “fuck it” and hit my pen. within the next 3 hours i got 3 assignments and a quiz done without even checking my phone. my family constantly tells me that smoking weed ruins my memory and gets rid of my personality like thats not exactly what im trying to fucking do. they tell me that its a sick addiction that runs in both sides of my family. my mom constantly pities me because of all the mental illnesses ive inherited from them. i dont even like drinking that much. i dont even feel human anymore when im not high. my mind wont stop thinking about all the shit ive done. i dont want to think about the past anymore. weed helps me with that. it calms my mind down so im able to focus on whats actually fucking in front of me instead of beelining back to the past over and over again until i cry and slam my fists into the floor or s/h or smoke weed or if im unable to get that then ill either drink or ill relapse on opiates. my parents find it embarrassing when i need something tangible to get me through the day even though theyve lived through the exact same thing and now im embarrassed of myself for needing weed or my meds in order to be able to live my fucking life without wanting to break down in tears every five minutes over shit thats already happened or wont happen for a while. im never focused on the present when im sober and doing so is like trying to read a novel while drunk driving.

We've always been able to talk to each other with honesty and now all of a sudden you're acting like i'm attacking you, and trying to hug yourself? why all of a sudden?!" i was like "Idk when THAT was because I havent talked to you in years, and you're always yelling at me about how im being dramatic. Also I’m not making this up." she was like "did i say you were making it up?! no! go journal about it" i was like "no. let's have a conversation." because tbh if i write down all this shit its just gonna sound like i blame her for fucking everything and that she's gonna look like a bad mom, so i don't want her to read how i fucking hate myself, and that i attempted to sleep with some random boy because SOMEBODY FUCKING WANTED ME FOR THE FIRST TIME FREAKING EVER. like ik im not good enough for anyone in this fucking family, so yeah. Ask if there’s any peer tutoring going on at your school (my school had a program where older kids would tutor the younger ones but idk if this is a thing in other schools). I can imagine how hard honour & AP classes are!!! pls don’t feel stupid for not understanding the concept and not getting A’s!! That’s definitely not the case. Sometimes there’s things we won’t be good at or things we won’t ever be able to fully grasp and sometimes things just take a lot of practice and time to be able to understand. If things get really tough pls don’t hesitate to ask someone for help

-i know you said that you know your gf wouldn’t mind, but think of it maybe in a different way! instead of thinking about you talking a lot as being annoying, think about it in a good way! Hello, I am a nineteen community college student living in North San Diego, California and I live with my parents. I make less that $1,000 a month working part time and going to school full-time. I get financial aid from my school, but only for the classes, not the books. My father, the only other worker in my family, makes roughly around $32,000 a year. 18•09•17 || 12:07 am || 🎧 My Page - NCT Dream hello! ive been gone for a while huh? a month already or so, but i felt the need to post something just now, so ill write a little of whats been going on in life! first off, i can safely say ive been working lots and im on top of all my work and homework so far. my new school has a very rushed system and we have exams basically every month starting september (meaning rn). so its been hectic, but i feel that thanks to starting my studyblr and getting a feel of what to do or not has helped me in these times of projects, homeworks and exams all at once. i still cant get into the "study everyday" habit so far but ill try to focus more on that. also i guess i spend a lot of time just doing hw? i space out constantly lol, so i gotta do something abt it. if anyone has tips for that PLS DM ME OR SMTHN 😩😩 also idk abt my handwriting, i wanted to change it but now i think ill just start to like it as it is bc its tiring to force my hand to a new style, and honestly its legible enough, so i dont have problems with it most of the time. im still finding what tools work for me and what doesnt, even if i havent tried that many pens. its kinda hard finding mildliners and muji pens and all that fancy stuff around here (nvm the prices) but maybe someday. ive narrowed down my career options to languages or law. im proud of that, really. now to pick one and look for schools. theres been progess!!✨ i started working out again today, and ill do my best to be constant about it bc i always drop it. i also started taking a course to become a teacher! ill get a certificate by the end of the school year and ill be able to teach english on an international level, so thats exciting :D! i hope i can post more often after im done w my exams for this month, ill have three weeks and then start again around the second half of october.
