green faction inventory analysis

from the 13/04/2025 event

*not all of green faction. owen, pangi, bad and lukey; with a focus on the three most active members.

something really cool about minecraft storytelling, especially those that are improvisational/livestreamed, is you can get a physical look into the characters' priorities and mindsets. not just what they think is important to have on them, but also what they think is important to keep in their hotbars—and the organization of their hotbars from slots 1-9.

this is a very long post. analysis under cut.

PANGI

inventory

we're going to start with pangi, because his inventory provides a really good reference point to start with and his hotbar is also the most unique. a general note: pangi's inventory is always organized, whereas bad and lukey tend to frequently switch items around, from the vods i scanned.* he keeps weaponry on the left side (which is quite literally everything and anything he could possibly use in a fight), potions and rockets in the middle, and additional pvp items on the far right. the crystals and obsidian stay in the upper right unless they're being used. he keeps an empty slot in his hotbar which he replaces with whatever he needs at any given time—rockets, pots, cobwebs or charges. he remains in-control of his inventory in every situation.

he keeps his trident in his off-hand, great-axe in 1st, crossbow in 2nd and pickaxe in 3rd—but he switches the pick for a spear during combat.

pangi prioritizes weapons over tools, and keeps a pvp kit on him at all times. exclusively splash pots for efficiency, and they're a variety useful not only for fighting but also for surviving traps (slow-falling), even when fall traps haven't been common in months. some habits are hard to shake.

he has the inventory of a fighter, but one that (semi) knows when to pick his battles or keep fighting, and when it's safer to flee—evidenced by the pearls, rockets and chorus fruit—but he has the resources to put up a fight, and is willing to not only start them but also see them through. he is definitely paranoid but not afraid. he does not play the defensive, keeping his shield in his inventory, but instead the offensive. he has what he needs to get him through a fight. his kills are not strategic, but fuelled by his own emotion and moral compass. he never exactly plans on killing, and is not always looking to kill, but instead is prepared for if he feels he has to, no matter how finicky that "has to" is. he is confident in his ability to survive, his ability to kill, and his ability to hold his own. he knows when he's bitten off more than he can chew, he's always aware of the consequences, and still does the best he can to fight the battles he's started—but never at the expense of his own life.

BAD

bad keeps an entire extra set of armour on him. i literally did not know that until i started this. thats insane

bad's inventory is not un-organized, but he is much more willing to move things around to do what he has to do. the potions he keeps on him are not splash, but drinkable ones, because he doesn't prioritize speed the same way that pangi does, and is less frantic. this is not to say that bad is less paranoid, but they approach pvp with different mindsets bred from different places. bad organizes his inventory horizontally, compared to pangi's vertical organization. in his inventory, also, are the materials to make stasis chambers, not only for himself but also for his teammates—more on that in a moment.

bad keeps his shield in his off-hand, great-axe first like pangi, but pickaxe second. the shulker box in his hotbar has additional resources to keep him alive (gaps, totems, etc.) he has the inventory of an assassin, and focuses more on his own resilience than his honour, opposed to pangi, and is not concerned with dealing with the aftermath. bad is an opportunistic killer to his core, and is confident in his ability to get away from the messes he causes—evidenced by the stasis chambers, the extra set of armour, the pick and shovel in the hotbar to get away. he is one of the few realmers who use drinkable pots instead of splash pots, which is interesting because they can't easily be used to help friends/teammates, BUT he looks out for them using foresight with the stasis chambers, instead of in-conflict aid. he always plans to bite off more than he can chew, and always has twelve ways out when the walls start closing in on him.

LUKEY

lukey, first and foremost, is distinctly un-organized compared to his teammates. and just in general. this not only highlights the difference in their playstyles, but also the difference in how long they've been on the realm. as time has gone on, lukey's inventory has changed, and so have his hot-bar priorities. his inventory has taken more influence from pangi with the splash pots, chorus fruit and windcharges—but some aspects from bad, such as the gapples in the final slot and tools in his hotbar. the splash pots are also indicative of lukey's need to be quick. not because he's a fighter, and certainly not because he's resilient, but because he knows he will be first blood.

lukey has an inventory that indicates pacifism. unlike pangi and bad, his most powerful weapon is not in the first slot, but instead the 3rd, following his pick*—he prioritizes comfortability over his ability to intimidate, as he prefers the sword. the lack of organization also indicates a lack of anticipation, as lukey does not see himself fighting. he keeps a few items he deems useful, and most importantly, a variety of splash potions—turtle master, fire res and three invis. this is probably the most interesting thing about his inventory. lukey is un-confident in his ability to fight and survive, so he prioritizes the potions he knows will work best to his advantage—disappear, get out without raising a weapon.

his hotbar shows a similar pattern, elyta water and trident before the great-axe, and shield in off-hand. unlike pangi, lukey doesn't use his trident for pvp, but as a method of travel. so, his slots 2-4 are all escape routes. he has the inventory of a negotiator, one that can get him away from a fight and not one that can start a fight.

OWEN

if you thought lukey's inventory organization was bad, owen's is the undiscovered layer of hell. where do i even start with this, owen.

to put it very simply, owen has the inventory of a storyteller. he is not very concerned at all with his own survival, or escape, or ability to kill—he knows they can't kill him in any way that really matters, because they've tried, and he just comes back. this is not only evidenced by his inventory but also his obvious playstyle—he runs around without armour on. in his inventory, he keeps more blocks than weapons, and more potions he can use for gags and bits rather than ones he can use to ensure his own survival. owen is an individualist, and is more concerned with his goal and narrative than any of the things his factionmates are concerned with.

☆ Natalie is the type to be playing minecraft and start spawning in a whole bunch of frogs or some shit. Either on her own world or in a realm with the others, she'd get bored and start to fuck shit up in creative (but at a safe distance away from the main area)

She'd also be really good at navigating the nether, with her experience playing before she's the best to take there if you're trying to find the nether fortress or netherite.

I can't promise that she would fight the best, though. I feel like she'd act all brave and then get up to a wither skeleton and totally flip her shit. "GUYS, HOLY SHIT IM GONNA DIE!! GU-" *Nataroni withered away*

☆Shauna, who spends a really long time trying to build a pretty house for her and Jackie. (That's her main mission every time they play) she also would love to create enchanted books and make potions. She'd create two double chests full of just books. Be so fr.

(Van would also be helping nat in the nether at some point and collecting the loot from the fortress and piglin cities. I feel like on voice chat with everyone they'd go. "Oh, sick, another chest," and Natalie is full on struggling behind them, trying to stay alive.)

She would also be very good at finding meat for the group. She'd come back after being gone for like 30 mins and go, "Hey guys, I brought food," and just starts dropping stacks upon stacks of raw meat in front of everyone's house.

☆ Tai would be the one to find diamonds first. She'd go out on her own with a full suit of iron armor and tools at the ready. (she's been preparing for this) she'd end up falling into a lush cave and taking so much time just to escape all the moss and axolotls (she takes one home for Van and it's the blue and white one)

Her armor would be leather based, and she'd color it red and blue :)

Eventually, she'd find the level where diamonds are and find about three before going back up to the surface. I think she would go back home and make a diamond pickaxe, then go right back to it... she's been down there for five nights so far.

☆Lottie doesn't even know where she's at most of the time. Huge dark wood forest, no torches, no food, half health, and zero food bars just inching her way to civilisation. I feel like she'd have ten different flowers in her inventory and some sticks, but nothing that would actually benefit her survival.

She'd punch a tree and eventually make an axe but would feel bad about hurting a cow or a sheep to get meat.

I also think that once she'd be back at the camp, she would have just enough iron in her chest and random pumpkin she found out in the wilderness to make her very own iron golem.

☆Van would be keeping a whole bunch of wolves as pets, and anytime they go out to venture off and find things, they take their dogs with them. They run into some zombies? Vans wolf pack will take them down in seconds. If there's sheep in the area? Vans got mad stacks of wool and mutton.

They would also be the one to travel and find old pirate ships and go searching for the loot. Bringing back the heart of the sea for Tai and giving some suspicious stew, they found to Jackie for fun.

☆ Jackie would definitely round up a bunch of sheep and keep them in the little fenced areas where the other animals are and color them all rainbow. She'd be giggling the whole time, too, and Shaunas like "Jax, what are you doing?" And she'd giggle harder and go "nooothiiing,"

(I think she would make the Jeb sheep too, the one that's all the colors)

She would also try her very best to make an aquarium in the middle of the camp, but it would just be salmon and cod because she hasn't traveled to a big ocean area yet.

☆ Misty is on some other shit. She's nowhere to be found usually. Shed be digging through mud and stuff in the swamp areas, looking for frogs and other weird creatures. I feel like it would be just her luck to stumble upon witches huts like waayyy too much. She'd fight them off with a half heart left, but she would befriend the black cat around the area.

She would be the type to go way too far away from camp and just start out a new life away from the others. She would make a hobit home in a hill somewhere, too.

☆ Laura Lee would be off trading with villagers and making deals. I think she'd get really into that and eventually make her own trading system with trapped villagers just to have the top-tier items. She'd only have wooden tools, though, bc she's a lover, not a fighter,

I think she'd would be minding her own business in the village and get bombarded by creepers at some point and start tweaking bc she's surrounded. She'd call them a cunt and die trying to fight them off (blowing up like she did in the pla- ANYWAY)

What kind of Minecraft player each Primarch would be

So a worm ate my brian and I had to think about how the primarchs would be as minecraft players. Like the roles they would have in the game. I decided to talk about this with my friend @nightghoulz (the orange is stuff they came up with and Purple is what I came up with) and this is what we came up with. Also, the end part is like super shitty cause I didn't put that much thought into it, despite it being the literal thing that like literally started this conversation but oh well.

Lion El' Johnson: Immediately runs off to create a secret base somewhere where no one will find. He is also in charge of exploring and map making.

Fulgrim: The miner. duh.

Perturabo: Begrudgingly works with Dorn to build the base, does all the redstone stuff.

Jaghatai Khan: Speedrunner, so he is pretty much bored while everyone else is still working on the base. So, he just makes a bunch of mob farms, including a horse farm so he can get the fastest and most jumpy horse.

Leman Russ: Has a bunch of wolves and just runs around pillaging villages and temples

Rogal Dorn: Works with Perturabo on building the fortress

Konrad Curze: Regularly steals from everyone and has a secret base where he is building a huge cathedral.

Sanguinius: Also owns the server. The flower collector who has the worst luck the entire time, he is always dying and he's thousands of blocks away from his bed. He is the reason keep inventory is on. But he is secretly really fucking good and doesn't let anyone know until it's necessary.

Ferrus Manus: Works on XP farms (iron cage 😛) and goes mining with Fulgrim

Angron: Has the best freaking luck ever, lives off of gapples and refuses to use anything other than an ax. Is always saving Sanguinius. He pretty much camps at the XP farms and just spends forever there.

Roboute Guilliman: In charge of the base, including storage. He also is in charge of going to the Nether and the End.

Mortarion: In charge of the plant farms.

Magnus the Red: In charge of potions and enchanting

Horus Lupercal: Owns the realm. Plays on creative but nobody knows. (Nightghoulz literally fucking did this)

Lorgar Aurelian: Just there to vibe, helps where he's needed

Vulkan: In charge of making weapons and giving the villagers nice houses. Has a bunch of axolotls for war purposes.

Corvus Corax: Has a bunch of parrots and begged Horus to get the texture pack that can turn them into ravens/crows and cats and just runs around. Until he finds Konrad, then asks if he can join Konrad and they end up building the cathedral together and bonding.

Alpharius Omegon: Tunnels. Everywhere.

Who dies the most? Lion.

Who dies the Least? Angron and Guilliman. But Guilliman is becasue he never leaves the fortress and Angron is just extremely good.

Now for the good part...

THE HORUS HERESY

Horus had an idea, but when they all voted on it, he lost. So out of pettiness, he took off and started to build a secret base where he carefully started planning his revenge. He started recruiting ones to join his cause (take over the server completely.) Then he changed the settings to where you lose inventory and friendly fire is on. This was found out after he secretly recruited Fulgrim and Fulgrim took Ferrus mining and they were going to jump off a cliff so they can go back home. But Fulgrim didn't jump, and Ferrus died, losing all of his loot. He freaked out and that's how everyone found out that Horus and seven of the other players betrayed them. Magnus joined Horus after Leman was tricked by Alpharius into thinking that Magnus had betrayed, so leman attacked Magnus. But Magnus hadn't betrayed Guilliman and co., so he was understandably left because he didn't feel welcome anymore. Lion and Konrad blew up Konrad and Corvus' cathedral during their fight.

The end of the Horus Heresy cause Horus and his traitors banished to the End and the Nether. Sanguinius, Ferrus, Vulkan, Jaghatai, Leman, Corvus, Lion, and Rogal all left the realm. Seemingly never to come back. Until one day Lion came back to join Guilliman and his new buddies in preventing Horus and his traitors from coming back into the overworld.

hey so how are we feeling about the latest pvpciv ep

yapping about my thoughts under cut

um, spoilers for everything up to minecraft but i battle the tridents of pvp civilization

also before i continue, she's a catgirl! anyway this isn't going to be about her design, so that's all i'm gonna say about it for now

i'm going fucking crazy over tabi only ever acknowledging whatever her feelings are towards evbo through killing him. like, at the end of s1 she had a clear shot of getting rid of him forever, but she didn't

when zam was about to get him with the eternal trident, tabi dealt the final blow to spare him. sure circumstances were really different then, but she was presented with two chances to actually kill him and both times? nothing! she chose to spare him again, but this time her own fucking life is in danger because there's nothing stopping zam from killing her if that's what he decides to do

we know her weapons (assuming that she did keep her swords because why wouldn't she) are running low on durability from what she says to pierce about the cost of invisibility potions (granted, we don't know how much those cost, but they can't be cheap). she doesn't say anything about her diamond sword specifically, but we do know that a lot of its durability was spent on opening the swords' final red gate (almost 400 attacks). the eternal sword is broken, so it's in kind of a weird spot

the thing is, we don't know what happens to players if their born weapons breaks while they still have another weapon in their possession (assuming their acquired weapon is also being held in one of their hands when it happens). we do know that armour stands will still activate regardless of what kind of weapon is used on them. otherwise, nobody from the axe civilization would've been able to go through the tridents' labyrinth and neither would've evbo

tabi didn't mention her axe specifically when talking about how many attacks she had left and this was before she entered the labyrinth (so my guess about invisibility potions being pretty damn expensive checks out), i wouldn't be too surprised if she did try using the eternal sword to stock up, then discovered that she's shit outta luck for some reason, probably because it's broken

but this could also mean that eternal weapons are locked from buying things from armour stands. think about it, if you gave someone an eternal weapon that never breaks, what's stopping them from just buying things for their friends/the people around them forever so they don't have to watch their durability slowly drain over time and kill them?

so now my question is, where the fuck did pierce get all of the invisibility potions he used to coerce ferre into giving up his respawn powers? we don't know how long these things last in pvpciv and we don't have a frame of reference for exactly how long he was spawn camping outside 'long enough for ferre to give up basically eternal life'

did he break his original axe to get them? did he get the other axes (like tabi) to help him out with buying them? was pierce's invisibility during that entire sequence even coming from potions or something else entirely?

well, whatever's going on with pierce is still pretty up in the air, so i'm bringing this back around to tabi. because if we're going with the assumption that other people have been spending their attacks on pierce's behalf, it's probably safe to assume that between battling and her own purchases (y'know, to keep herself alive and on top of others in pvp), she's likely the one who's spent the most to aid him in his cause

which makes it extra fascinating to me that she was willing to attack evbo with anything that wouldn't permanently kill him when she's already nearing the end of her durability. yeah of course you're gonna spend attacks during any old fight, but neither of the times evbo died to her so far were battles at all. she actively chose to save him

she's terrifyingly devoted to the axes' cause of ransacking other weapons' eternal weapons, willing to throw herself into battles constantly eating away at the number of attacks she has left. she can't fall back on respawning if something happens to go really, really bad and um. she's currently facing down someone who's actively trying to become god through whatever means possible, we don't know what's going to fucking happen there. i'd... honestly be more surprised if this is where her story ends, i want to know how her arm's going to be twisted by zam because he got front row seats to her stealing his kill from him. as an act of mercy towards evbo

i'm pretty sure he's aware that evbo's convinced himself that tabi's his friend, but not so much on tabi's side of things until well, right now

okay i think that's everything important i wanted to say, it kinda goes places but that's just how i am with things

anyway here's some rapid fire, not as important things that i don't want to leave in the tags since people can just see them

you don't understand just how fucking thrilled i was when we went into the trident civilization and a lot of the skins cc evbo chose for its residents were sea/diving-themed, CHAT WE WERE RIGHT TO ASSIGN TRIDENTS FISHY TRAITS

i mentioned altering my design idea for zam because he wasn't a godly figure, well um. i guess my initial instinct was somewhat right because that's exactly what he wants to become lmao

fine i'll talk about tabi's design for a little bit here. she's a cat because i love cats and the way her name is pronounced is literally "tabby". tabi the tabby, except the pvp version of her isn't exactly a tabby. she's a serval

WAIT I JUST HAD A THOUGHT

okay so the map. the map from pvpciv. this one:

evbo is standing where the swordciv is. we know this because he refers to it at the end when talking about how new players have to reach their respective civilizations. because of that, we can reasonably assume that tabi is standing at the axeciv's location (which is wonderful foreshadowing btw).

that leaves the bowciv and tridentciv. but what about the shields? during parrot's explanation, he doesn't mention that they have a civilization. in fact, he doesn't mention them at all. so we can assume that they're not a major faction in this world.

and if they're not a major faction, and they don't have a civilization, where are they supposed to go? what are they supposed to do? at first, i assumed that the shields are in swordciv because a) they're allied with the swords or b) they're sent there as punishment like everyone else. there's also sword and shield imagery to be made there from an out of universe perspective.

but then i realized that they're probably scattered all over, regardless of whether or not the other civs are structured similarly to swordciv. swords can block most attacks in minecraft. the only trouble i could see them having are with the axes and bows, since axes can disable a shield and piercing arrows can go through them.

if they're structured like swordciv? great. keeps the players in line and enforces the system. perfect for making sure good soldiers are put out.

if they're not structured like swordciv? i can imagine there being a little trouble, but if we assume that sword are the only ones that can't have anything else in their first slot, the shields will be fine. just put that shit in your offhand and you're good.

but i'm interested in why they don't have their own civ. it's not like they can't attack other players if the shields aren't super glued to their hands, and even then items can be put in the offhand (like a flint and steel). did they just not want to? was there something keeping them from doing so?

and there's also the fact that the guards in swordciv leveled up by getting their shields hit. don't you think if hit points were a concern they wouldn't want to get hit? they have durability like everyone else, after all. i get that it might've been hard to figure out a leveling up system for an item that's purely defensive, but it's weird. it's always possible that the leveling up system is purely as swordciv invention to get guards on all the different levels. but if it isn't? if the shields do, by some freaky law of the universe, have to get hit in order to level up?

that shit's weird. the shields are weird. they don't have a civilization and they aren't mentioned as a major part in the narrative. either i'm thinking too hard and evbo_ just didn't consider them important, or there's more that's going to be revealed in season 2.

but if there’s an option, he’s picking the melee route. more inclined to battle axe or combat knife someone than just blow them away with an assault rifle (I think it’s obvious why)

he’s also the type to get REAL fucking angry at the people he’s playing against though (on the mic spitting out every curse word in the book) so if he’s trying to chill out, he’s a minecraft guy. he’s already beat the game, and his world is full of mob farms and insane builds.

so basically, i use a johnny cade skin in minecraft and got bored so i started killing everything in sight. right, simple enough, but then i saw this little black rabbit, so i chased it down and happened to corner it. i used an axe to kill it and when i did i got this fucking EPIPHANY a goddamn VISION and dropped everything to write this down

johnny cade except when he killed bob, he found out he liked killing things & decides to be a little shit and go do it some more

this is EXTREMELY ooc, but like… he still ACTS like johnny while doing all this.. so is it really occ?

ponyboy (bless his heart, but i don’t think about him much, so his significance in this AU doesn’t really exist) is scared of him 💔 but then again they all are (except dally, i’ll elaborate later) but he still cares for johnny and is like “well, at least it’s just animals!” until it isn’t JUST animals…. then he’s like “well, at least it’s not us!” (but he still doesn’t like all the killing and tries to help johnny STOP KILLING SHIT)

johnny goes to dally to tell him about his horrible urges first since he doesn’t want to scare off ponyboy because he can figure it all out, and dally helps him ❤️ (technically not jally okay, just them being them. but if you do want to see it as jally/grilled cheese—like how i do!!—then go ahead)

dally has a really hard time accepting that this is the way johnny is now, but he’s still supporting him because he cares a lot and knows he’ll probably be johnny’s only way of support at all

anyway, silly johnny keeps killing shit and dally has to be there to clean it up and keep him mostly in check (but between you and me, he partially enjoys all the craziness that johnny gets him into. it’s refreshing to get this kind of experience with him so often, but still stressful since johnny keeps stumbling over to him drenched in blood)

TC lore okay basics . world works like if minecraft and real life were combined . game things yknow . think mcsm .

World is split up into three sections, the main lands (occupied by players), the oceans (occupied by various aquatic races), and the farlands (occupied by elves), as seen here,

Elves are quite uncommon in the main lands ! Most fled to the farlands when notch ascended to godhood or whatnot

TC's story mainly takes place in the main lands !

TC is a sort of special group sent on various missions to keep the main lands safe. Sometimes they are in battles and sometimes theyre just off to go meet some king or smth

For a majority of the story, several aquatic nations are at war with many land kingdoms. The war started right after a major virus outbreak (zombie infection if you will, taken from Endstone and the older Truemu stories)

Okay time for the actual team in . Almost oldest to youngest order (Except for ssun and husky)

Ssun is the 'leader' of tc, being the second eldest and the one with the most combat knowledge. He's pretty against anyone else going on combat missions, this guy is a boydad . Unfortunately his eyes are sensitive to light, so hes rockin shades all the time to help

Husky is the healer, being the eldest he prefers to be out of direct combat. They're the glue that keeps the team from falling apart, being the one that has the braincell .

Mitch is the best up front fighter for the team! He's literally coded to be a fighter, and good lord does he get even better once he gets his fancy sword (as seen in the Warzone music video). He is the one token straight, and is very brutal with his words

Jerome is the second best fighter ! He is a heavy hitter, switching between an axe and a mace for fights ! hes the family dog and weighted blanket /j

Sky is the second team 'leader', despite his lack of braincells, hes pretty good at quick thinking! They keep the morale up and often is the "face man" ! this guy just fucking rocks shades for no reason . adhd central pt 1 over here

Ty is. well . hes there. Hes there to look good and to chew gum and hes all out of gum /j (Ty and sky are a package deal)

Jason ! He's the mechanic (and the dj)! Fuckin guy made his own spacesuit and weapons ! Everyone else out here using swords and bows this guy is using literal guns ! His suit doubles as mobility aids (Specifically his lower half, his boots / leg pads have support and compression sleeves built in :]) adhd central pt 2

Seto ! this guy is the youngest of the team, often put outside of combat both because hes not built for it and Ssun will not let a kid fight. He uses his magic to help defend and distract the enemy! this fuckin guy is autistic as hell, but thats okay his spinterest in magic and elven history helps alot

okay time for out of context fun facts that i may expand on more later someone remind me to do that

there are two types of players, born and spawned (Age is based on body age, not how long one has been conscious), all mobs and elves are born, but not all players are spawned (or human)

Asking for science

for science... yesyes. although some of them may be general hcs and not that well written??? i'm used to them living in my head. and also i'm not particularly all that normal about this bird man. so anything can make me go insane. but anyway... welcome to my word vomit

1. so ive made it known that i like to make minecraft hcs often. like for the game mechanics. and so i describe The End as in like a vacuum. there's hardly any sound, except a sort of static sound, and the sounds of the natives of the End. there's no temperature but end stone had a cold touch to it. it's hard to breathe in the End, unless you're a native there, and also because the End is basically mostly Void. so this is important for the hc that i made

although phil, in canon, is a crow. there's small entertainment within the fandom that he's also an elytrian (which is a type of native to the end... i suppose) either way, he's avian. now avian hearing is less sensitive than humans. but given the fact that phil is a hybrid, he has a mix of both which sort of clash. so i'd say that phil's ears are as sensitive, if not more, than humans. (especially shown with how phil hears literally everything.)

then, before coming to quesadilla island, he came from his season 4 hardcore world. living for YEARS on end by himself. the only company he had were the crows, the livestock, the sounds of nature outside, etc. so he isnt USED to all the sounds and clamor and people talking over each other to get their cents in. so when coming to the island and meeting everyone, the sound is absolutely overwhelming. he gets overwhelmed which leads him to step away for a bit just to hear silence just for a little bit. regain his bearings before stepping back into the crowd.

people would notice, especially close friends, but not really think about it. when tallulah would finally come around and he would then take care of her, he would use her (for himself and for her) to get out of loud situations. because both of their ears are sensitive. so phil understands what she goes through. and such and such.

2. there's this one !!

i love this hc so much, like the whole "friendship emeralds" thing means so much to me.

anyway, phil is a natural hoarder. which includes all sentimental things and materialistic things he needs. plus with crow/bird brain mentality, he likes shiny things. so giving out these emeralds, although so sparingly, means a LOT to him. meaning you mean so much to him and he trusts you. and a lot in that matter.

also, other people he would give it to:

i put it in the tags BUT: etoiles. his friendship emerald would be in the pommel of his axe/scythe (whichever he uses more than the sword). phil would've asked to see it, to maybe borrow it to see what enchantments etoiles has on it. but then changes the pommel to add in the emerald and handing it back to him. like its nothing.

another i put in the tags: cellbit. the emerald phil gave to him was just a regular emerald. i say it was given one day where they were hanging beside forever's bed whilst he was in a coma. cellbit was filling phil in on whatever happened/will happen in the order bc now he is an important member. and phil was like "oh right, i have something for you." and passed over the emerald with a small smile. and cellbit keeps it in safe keeping somewhere, because then he knew it was a token of phils trust and he cherishes it.

all the other kids would have one too, in various different accessories. dapper would have a keychain on his backpack, ramon would have a bracelet of it, same with richas and leo, and pomme would have a necklace!!

3. perching

this post is kind of the reason this is on the list. its not necessarily MY hc but.... i like thinking of this nonetheless.

but also just thinking abt how phil will perch around peoples places and they would take notice to it, and maybe even build something and not say anything. i once saw an art on here where there was phil and cellbit in the order's like... meeting room with all of the sofa's and everything. but instead of phil being on a sofa on cellbit's side, it was a perch instead. and i CANT stop thinking abt it. its so good.

4. singing

DONT LISTEN TO THE STREAMER!!! i believe that qphil can SING!!!!!! but ofc, out and in character, phil is a self-deprecating man. so he would say "i'm shit at singing" but when he tries it and sings his kids songs, it doesnt sound half bad.

when building, farming, mining, or anything really, you can hear him hum. not any particular tune most times, but it sounds nice and calming nonetheless. and it fits him just right

although when singing jort storm he's being bad on purpose 🙏🏽

but just THINK about the coziness you'd feel in the bunker. the soft natural light of the shroom lights, the natural feeling from the moss and flowers in the room, the soft humming and singing from phil as he tucks his kids into bed. brushing some hair from their faces with a soft smile and helping them put away their things before he sits on the chair and waits until they fall asleep for him to leave. its so cozy and so nice to think abt that i cant even

5. touch/physical affection

now, this hc is one i made in the dsmp era. where phil didnt like to be hugged because all it made him think about what him killing his son. hugging wilbur as life slowly left him. it leaves a man scarred, yknow?? and he'd only ever accept hugs, scarcely, from techno. (bc techno isnt a touchy guy either.) but dsmp isnt canon in qsmp. not that i know of, and frankly, i dont want it to be because its weird to think about.

but even so, i think this hc would even transfer over to qsmp phil. and it definitely has to do something with his wings. the sensitivity of the area and how big they are when they're closed and tucked into his back. the habit he has, with close ones, to wrap his wings around them in an even warmer, bigger, hug. but with his wings so fucked up and the fact that he has to wear a backpack to counteract the lost weight.... i..........

either way, phil would then only accept scarce hugs from close friends. and when he doesnt give hugs, his friends do this: fit would always give a hard and good pat on the shoulder, a side hug perhaps, a good strong handshake. wilbur always gives phil a small lighthearted punch on the arm. missa rests his hand on phils shoulder and gives it a squeeze. forever, a naturally touchy man, would just simply lean into phil's side, give a handshake, or a simple smile. etc etc

but an exception to this were his children. (excluding will and tubbo from this, even though it is slightly canon that they are his sons,... in a way) chayanne and tallulah always get hugs from phil. waking up from a nightmare and phil has them wrapped in his arms, shielding them away from harm. happiness to see him after he comes back from a trip of wandering, his arms are wide open. anything for his kids.

6. wings :3

on my other acc (zmbiicrsh) i sometimes, very rarely, post snippets of writing that i do. and in one of them i explain phils wings briefly.

i think, personally, phil's wings are big. since he is a crow hybrid, he's a human... with crow wings scaled to his size. which are BIG. (and then also the feathers coalescing around his ears/cheek and forearm areas. blah blah blah) they're supposed to be big because of his size and nature. but i also think about the color a lot. from first glance, they're a jet black. black, silky, feathers. with patterns of white stars at the bottom (when they were full.......). but if you look closely in the sunlight. if he angled them just right, you'd be able to see the multicolored shine to it. a rainbow shine that glided along the edge of the feathers.

Intro post for a blog dedicated to a Minecraft oc of mine, based off of, you guessed it!! The Pale Garden!!!

(everything under the cut)

This is an oc ask/lore dumping blog, mainly stuff so I don't get too disorganized with all my things for this critter.

This character is named Koren, a wooden doll type character out in the woods. She's entirely on her own, and has been for about as long as she can remember.

But skipping some vital information, lore, a heart that's not hers, a strange connection to the sun and an axe, this is set after she's found by another oc of mine, named Bryer.

Bryer is essentially Korens caretaker/gaurdian, despite the fact Bryer herself is only 21, she's making do with raising the weird ass kid she found out in the woods one day.

Bryer won't have as much of a vital role in this, more so just the person "running the blog", so every post after this will be in one or the others perspective.

General rundown for lore below!!

Koren is in no way related to The Creaking, instead being the one who's currently keeping it's heart as her own, The Creaking has tormented Koren since she's been in the garden. So for a long ass time, poor kid.

Koren doesn't actually know she's not human, nor the fact her heart isn't hers, but she gets a feeling somethings wrong. Wether it's the scratching against her cabins windows, or the pair of eyes watching her at night. Probably nothing too serious!!

Quick thing before I move on, the face you see down below (if I remember to put the pic of her), isn't an actual "face". Koren is currently wearing a mask. What's under it could be funky!!

(Now, because I don't wanna spoil absolute EVERYTHING, I won't be rambling too much on here! All in all, Koren is an anxious mess of a kid that's just trying her best. And she's almost completely blind, forgot to mention that.)

So same rules as double life, each couple has 3 lives and they share hp, last pair standing wins!

Beau and Tary take a minute to get along, but eventually they work together okay after bonding over their shitty dads. They spend quite a bit of time with Percy and Yasha. I think they would set up a thoroughly trapped base. I think they build a mansion and winery for their base and make a load of potions. They have an enchanting table for sure. Beau is very much the up close and personal fighter whereas Tary is a little more distant. He sends tnt minecarts and squishes people with anvils.

Veth and Ashton are both suspicious of each other at first, but they still get shit done. They get on better as they spend more time, realizing that at least the other won't stab them in the back. They make a bunker for a base, and stock it with booze, bolts, and fireworks. Veth traps the shit out of it. They are a terrifying combo in battle with Ashton up front and center taking hits and destroying people with his hammer and Veth picking off people from a distance with her crossbow. Veth does still spend a bit of time with Caleb on the side though.

Fearne and Pike get on fairly easily. They are both iconic and get shit done. Fearne loves to spy on everyone else and comes home with drama. She is also an arsonist and we love that for her. Pikey is more restrained in her chaos, but she is still out there causing problems. She sets off more traps than she would like to admit, but miraculously survives most of them. She is a bit better in combat than Fearne is but, they are both very good at surviving fights, even if they don't get the most kills. I think they build up a bakery and hide a bunker underneath it. They also just have several lava traps and fire pits around their home to defend it.

Essek and Jester already know each other and get on well. Together they build a beautiful tower, like the one in Tangled. It has several secret entrances and passageways. Jester seems like the type of person to have an army of tamed wolves. So she absolutely does, they all have special collars and are all named. They are both distance fighters as well so their towers works well to keep them out of harms way whilst they shoot arrows and throw fire charges as well as splash potions. Essek is a fancy lad and I fully believe that he has loads on end crystals and obsidian that he uses as his main weapon. Jester somehow got her hands on a trident (she stole it) and is wreaking havoc with that from the tower. Jester also keeps several bees just because she wants to.

Grog and Caleb get on okay at first, Grog is pretty friendly for the most part, but Caleb is wary of him. I think their base is a tower, but this tower has a bunker at the bottom that serves as a quick restock point for Grog since he is out on the battlefield with his axe wrecking shit. Caleb stays up in the tower mostly, shooting his fire charges, flame arrows, and pouring lava down the sides on the tower. Grog is very excited about all the traps that Caleb cooks up and happily uses his supply of end crystals whenever he can. They work well together.

Fjord and Dorian get on well, but is takes a minute for them to actually trust each other. Their base is a ship sat in the sky floating on clouds. These two are quite versatile in battle. They are good at both ranged and close combat. Fjord has several puffer-fish that he uses in close combat as well as his sword. Dorian uses his axe when in close combat. When at a distance they use their tridents and arrows. Fjord can be impulsive at times, but overall these two are some of the more peaceful members on the group. They don't have many traps set up, but they do have several alliances. They are allied with Beau, Tary, Essek, Jester, Orym, Vex, Caduceus, and Scanlan.

FCG and Bertrand get on alright, not the closest, but they do alright together. They do have the most accessible base out of everyone. It isn't trapped at all, but they are mostly left alone, well, their base is. Bertrand is a tricksy guy and manages to rile up many of the other folks. They don't dislike him, but they don't trust him either. FCG on the other hand is pretty well-liked and trusted. They are not the best in combat, but they seem to come out of it alive. Bertrand does know his way around a sword and FCG has an affinity for his crossbow.

Laudna and Mollymauk get on like a house on fire. They have the cutest home on the server. It is a cottage with a patchwork tent attached to the side. It is cozy and colorful. They have matching friendship bracelets that they made for each other and everything. They of course spend time with Imogen and Vax as well as Yasha and Percy. They spend quite a bit of time together as they wander the land together. If you spot one the other is likely somewhere nearby. As they get closer they swap stories about walking up from death. Molly is their close combat expert whereas Laudna is their sniper. Molly goes around with his swords and Laudna shoots from from far away with a bow.

Vax and Imogen are wary of each other at first, but eventually get on pretty well by the end. They share a house atop a hill where they have a pretty good view of several other people. Imogen has a stable of horses as well. They often ride into battle together, striking fast and retreating before people know what hit them. They often visit Vex and Orym, Keyleth and Chetney, as well as Laudna and Molly. Imogen is more of a distance fighter, but Vax is good either close up or at a distance.

Percy and Yasha eventually grow to trust each other but it starts out a bit rocky as they are both quiet around people they don't know or trust at first. They have a nice castle. Yasha has a beautiful garden and Percy has trapped the land around the castle thoroughly and has made several escape passages. He is already paranoid enough coming into this. Together they build makeshift graves to those they have lost after spending a lot of time together. Percy also makes a load of snipers perches around the map. Yasha goes with him and hides little caches of stuff by each hidden perch so that they are always ready for a fight wherever they are. She also stashes some food in his perches so that he doesn't run out of food. He often helps sharpen her blade and makes her a bunch of little things to help in battle.

Scanlan and Caduceus get on well enough. They respect each other. Caduceus is pretty calm and lives in a small cabin by Scanlan's mansion. Cad keeps a small mushroom garden and makes a load of potions that he shares with most anyone. They don't have any true enemies as they are just kind of vibing. There is usually music playing at their base. Scanlan gets a load of fire charges and end crystals from people just by asking. This man has a silver tongue and he knows how to use it. They don't have many traps, but the ones they have are weird and effective. They have several animals just roaming around their base. Scanlan is ruthless once the get into battle and so is Caduceus, after all, death and violence are very much parts of nature. They are oddly terrifying because of how fast they switch from being welcoming to just killing.

Vex and Orym get on pretty well. They work together extraordinarily well together. They make plans and stick to them. They are another ranged and close combat duo. They share a regular keep, nothing super fancy but it is nice and functional. They have several traps as is to be expected. They know what they're doing. They are good at using terrain to their advantage. Vex perches with her bow and Orym slips through battles causing damage as needed and catching hits on his shield. Vex keeps a few potions on her at all times just in case. They are prepared but not overly so and adapt as needed. Orym respects Vex and she is just happy to have someone who will actually follow the plans she makes, but will make ideas on the fly by himself as needed. They compliment each other, especially in battle.

Keyleth and Chetney take a minute to warm up but they get there, eventually. They have a base that is a huge oak and their basement is a hollow surrounded by roots. They are a bit worried about how flammable their base is as the days pass, but they store most of their better stuff under the earth anyways. They are an absolutely terrifying combo in combat. Chetney is always a wild card and an absolute menace, whereas Keyleth is terrryfying in her raw power and switch from being her more socially awkward, charming self, into a lean, mean, killing machine. These two often talk about their lengthened life spans what that means for Keyleth on top of Chetney's experiences. He gives her a bit of confidence she didn't have before and his rough edges have been softened a bit. They trust each other in battle completely. Sure Chetney will spy on people, dig tunnels under others bases, and steal from people, but he is her ally and they work well together.

sorry for talking about dsmp ranboo lore in the year of 2023. but you seem like an educated individual and i am a technomain and my dsmp rewatch is slow as hell.

what is the Deal with "the council" occasionally mentioned in ranboo's lore? what are they goals? like, what are they doing? bringing about the collapse to all dimensions (which is what endermen in mc *canonically* trying to do, according to the 2019 book "minecraft game design")?

ok it's been a minute so my lorepilled friends are welcome to correct me but: from what i recall, the council was originally just. a group of endermen that had picked up blocks and gotten stuck in the entrance to ranboo's strip mine because they wouldn't despawn, so they just kinda hung out there. and ranboo worked them into his lore as being like. just kinda his friends? they didn't really have stated goals as far as i recall, the only time they did anything on their own was to help ranboo and to warn him that he might need to take a stand (and providing the axe of the end). ranboo communicates with them and trusts them enough to kinda use them as a spy network, almost, i.e. keeping an eye on certain people for him. i don't think we got much more info than that, alas.

I RLLY LIKE HOW CREATIVE EVERY ASPECT IS!!! i think the dsmp fandom has a special way of turning minecraft mechanics and the way people behave inside the game into truly beautiful things - i love how ccs and writers and artists turn what could be bland characters moving around and clicking things into emotive narratives !!

5. How do you translate the world of Minecraft to fit into your fanfics when you keep the original setting?

its hard!!!!!!!! i try to make it subtle, like, here:

i tried to mimick how characters react to ctechno making his axe move (like clicking in and out) and how that might translate into actual movement. techno's effortless intimidation of allies and folies alike is one of my favorite parts ever. as of the world itself -- i try to tackle it like one would magic. weird stuff can happen sometimes (interdimensional travel, revival, etc) but if it's normal for the characters, then it should be treated like normal. it gives a little depth to go in the magical realism way though, so sometimes i'll take things I consider odd (like admins) and make them just happen, while characters do kind of freak out about them

7. How long does it take for you to go from an idea to the end product? (be it drabble in tumblr or fully published multichapter fic in ao3)

ah, it depends... last fic took three days of cdnf fueled insanity, but i think fics in general take me like a week or two. i struggle mostly with rewatching content to have as good characterization as i can

Do you have a favourite dye pattern? so i was gonna say no. but then i realised that i have like six different banner designs for specific things atm. so yeah i do use them. i like making flags to represent things :D favourite dye pattern would have to b the gradients. flower charge is a close second its soso good

🎒 What items do you typically keep on your hotbar? it depends what i own at that point, but the ideal is: 1st slot - bow, 2nd slot - pickaxe, 3rd slot - axe, 4th slot - sometimes a shovel sometimes a wormhole for transportation, sometimes nothing, depends on the server, 5th + 6th slots - empty, 7th slot - stack of blocks, 8th slot - food, 9th slot - gapples, offhand - shield. theres a bunch of stuff i keep in my inventory at all times too

(Or describe your storage setup). lots of chests and item frames <3 people hate my storage systems bc of how i group things. it makes sense to me and only me <3 everything is soso neat all the time and ive had people think its all automated but it is not!! i hate when i run out of room tho its so annoying

⛏ Favourite building block? mmmmm this ones HARD. calcite is great. so is acacia, especially paired with dark oak. spruce is very nice. controversial opinon that amethyst sucks to build with!!! moss. moss is so good. imma go moss and calcite second. they r so nice
