“You’re staring at me.” Buck shuffles forward, a few steps away from Eddie; he smells like mint and vanilla because he used Eddie’s shampoo like he always does and roses, too, that expensive cologne he pays half an arm for.  “I am.”  “Do I look bad?”  No. Not at all. He’s wearing tight black jeans that hug the length of his long, thick legs in a way that leaves nothing to the imagination and a black knit sweater that has his biceps bulging and his tummy poking through and it’s obscene because he’s so goddamn thick that even normal clothes look small on him.  Buck looks all different kinds of great and Eddie doesn’t know what to do with that or the tickle in his chest, the heavy heat in his gut. The gold chain with the little sunshine at the bottom sits pretty between his tits, a present Chris got him last year for Christmas that’s a fucking gift right now for Eddie. Christ.   He blinks. “No,” he says, maybe a little too fast, but he can’t be blamed. Especially not when Buck looks as gorgeous as he does, in front of Eddie and in his bedroom with a door that locks. “You look pretty. That color is nice on you.”  “It’s black.”  “Okay?” Eddie bristles. The tips of his ears burn. “It looks good.”  Buck fingers the hem of his sweater. “Thanks,” he says, whisper-soft and ruddy-cheeked like he’s embarrassed or something, before looking up and giving Eddie a dazzling smile. “You, uh, look good, too.”  And Eddie does. He’s wearing his best pair of blue jeans and a dark green sweater he found in the back of his closet that he knows looks good on him because Marisol couldn’t keep her hands off when he wore it, but he has nothing on Buck. Nothing at all.  “Buck—” “I need—” Christopher barges in the room, knocking the door against the wall like he pays the bills. “You guys take so long.”

Summary: When Elisa joins your school, it was difficult for you to behave your normal 'sweet' self around her....but why? This explains it lol.

A/n: I've already said this before, but I am new to writing, so constructive criticism is needed!! I already have two parts that need to be finished. Also, I saw a photo of elisa when she was 14 and she literally looked 10?? I can't even joke about this because I have the same issue where people think im 13 lol.

Warning: internalized homophobia!!, cringe...it's 2012 and the characters are 14 yall, no romance yet... its a slowburn series so im sorry. I'm laughing at y/n and yall should too. It's giving Wattpad but it's okay because it's nostalgic (i want to cry). Fleur (elisa's gf but we'll pretend that they're friends here😭🙏) and Marie (katoto) were mentioned... if you didn't know, they were in the same football academy when they were young.

Since you joined Jean-Antoine School, you became the person to help out the new students, giving them the tour around. And as a result, teachers and students liked you, even the ones that never had you. At first, you liked the attention, but now it feels like a chore to please the teachers that have high expectations of you.

So right when the first day of school started, you were immediately asked to the office. As you walked to your principal's room, you stood at the closed door to wait for the student inside to finish. Filled with anxiety, you hoped the new student would be nice.

"Oh, no I'm sure she's busy with something, you can ask Fleur or Marie, I know them so it wouldn't be awkward." You heard a desperate voice, assuming it is from the new student. She clearly didn't want to meet someone new, which is understandable for you. But how does she know Fleur and Katoto?

"I understand Ms. De Almeida, but your friends wouldn't show you the school, they would just talk and distract you. Besides, y/n is very lovely and would help you a lot. I heard only great things about her." Mrs. Sommers argued back. You tried to sneak a peek, trying to glance at ‘De almeida’. But the door was closed shut, and there were no windows on the wooden door whatsoever.

Awkwardly standing there, you tapped the ground with your foot waiting for her to come out. When the door was opened, you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. Is this her brother, is she still in the room? Your eyes quickly glanced inside the office, only to hear a familiar voice.

"Umm... are you y/n?" De Almeida asked, you glanced from the office back to the... person next to you. You smiled kindly and nodded, "this is my schedule, she told me you'll show me around." Her husky voice hit you like a slap. Oh, okay... what the fuck is this.

You glanced at her schedule that is now in your shaky hands, realizing that she's in your grade and shares almost every class with you. You glanced to see her name, Élisa… What a cute name, it must be weird to have such a girly name just for her to look like a guy. You looked back at elisa, smiling shyly, “we share almost every class so I can definitely help you around the whole day if you want.”

Elisa felt at ease when she first saw you. She knew that shocked face, it happens to her everyday. In fact, it happened to her just a week ago with Mrs. Sommers when she joined the school and had to come early for testing. It was always a face of slight confusion when they realized Elisa is a girl and not a boy. Her brother, Alex, had told her that when she grows older it will get easier, but it didn’t seem that way. She didn't feel offended, but what bothers her is when people treat her differently when they realize she's a girl. When she saw you smile at her, her anxiety slowly disappeared. And now she's filled with excitement in reuniting with her friends, and updating them about her trip to Portugal in the summer.

“Thanks for offering, but I'd probably just have my friends do it.” She tried to kindly decline your offer without offending you.

“Yeah, okay!” You turned your body towards the office exit, your curious mind is still confused on how she has friends in the school, but you didn't feel like invading her privacy.

You always went to school 30 minutes earlier than most students, so this allowed Elisa to actually examine the building. She walked on your right, a meter away from you. You'd usually find the distance slightly rude, but now you're slightly glad about it. You felt embarrassed even glancing at Elisa, and you didn't understand why. You assumed it's because of the shame of assuming she's a boy at first glance, it was rude of you to think that way, girls can have short hair too!

“...So how do you have friends here?” You asked, trying to diffuse this tension inside you. Walking around the school cafeteria and pointing at the lunch tables, feeling like it doesn’t need an explanation.

“We play together at a football academy.” She responded, walking quicker than you can, probably from her height. “Do you know Fleur and Marie?”

“Yeah, they’re nice. I knew they loved football but I didn’t know they were at an academy.” You guessed that’s why they would sometimes not go to school together, probably to play in championships. 

After walking around the cafeteria to the small hallways, you stood there and labeled what each hallway is for, “so this one is for math, science, and statistics class. Our Algebra and biology classes will be there. This one is for language, French, Spanish and English classes will be there. This one is the arts hallway, there are only two classes that are used there, the other 3… students use them for other things.” You blushed at the thought of what they do there, you had always avoided that area and hoped Elisa would too. When you glanced at Elisa's face, there was a slight pink hue in her cheeks.

“Couldn’t the school lock them?” She mumbled, voice slightly hitched now from the awkwardness.

“I mean… they were never caught, and snitches get stitches so no one comments about them.” You shrugged, hoping this response would change the topic. You had always felt weird talking about the older students’ behavior in those rooms, but it felt extra weird around Elisa. You rolled her schedule in your hands as your thoughts started spiraling. Would Elisa go there with someone? A guy? No way. You glanced at Elisa's side profile as she was looking at the freshly cleaned boards placed around the hallways for posters. Elisa’s nose is prominent and sharp, her eyebrows naturally furrowing in thoughts. You wondered, if she has short hair and dresses like guys, does she like girls like them? There is no way she would be with a guy.

Your thoughts stopped when you realized she was looking at you, waiting for you to show her somewhere else. Opening your mouth but nothing coming out, you turned and walked to the school’s back exit. Elisa turned and followed you, keeping a safe distance between the both of you. But right when you pulled the door, Amy’s body came crashing into you.

“Oh my god, are you okay?” You screeched in shock, both of your bodies stumbled backwards. Thankfully, Elisa was there to catch the both of you. A small giggle broke out from Amy, standing upright and grabbing her pink folder that fell out of her hands. When she looked up, her eyebrows scrunched in confusion.

“New?” She knew about your ‘first day routine’, and since she couldn’t recognize Elisa she assumed she was right. Amy is a popular student in the same grade that all the guys are crazy over. Her body developed before any of the girls. And although you didn’t necessarily feel insecure about your body, you still felt a little sad at the feeling that she will always be the boys’ first choice. Not only is her waist and body flawless, but she also has a bright flirtatious smile, and blonde long hair that touches her ass every time she takes a step.

“Yeah,” Elisa quickly let go of your arm, taking a step away. Panic started rising in your chest, Amy was always a late student, coming to class 10 minutes late with the usual excuse of ‘traffic’. Why did she come early and interrupt me and Elisa? “First time coming early?”

“Yeah I wanted a new version of me this new year. You know… since it’s the first year of high school.” Her eyes roamed around Elisa’s figure. Elisa was speechless, not knowing what else to do. She hoped her friends would’ve been here, because now she feels like she’s interrupting your conversation. But from the slightly uncomfortable glance both of you are giving each other, she knows you probably need her to save you.

“Umm… y/n can we please finish the tour so we don’t end up late for class.” Elisa stepped closer to you, her hand softly tugs on the sleeve of your hoodie. You were internally thanking God that she saved you from Amy, but the unexplainable blush around your face was growing when you saw Elisa’s large hand gripping your sleeve. You quickly glanced back at Amy, mumbling a quick ‘see ya’ and opening the door again to go to the football pitch.

As Elisa walked out, she quickly turned to look at Amy for one last time, not thinking it’s wrong for a quick last scan. She seemed sweet and her voice sounded buttery and smooth. She also was hot, that’s something Elisa wouldn’t hide. When she turned back to see you, she realized that you had caught her looking. In shock, she just walked straight past you on the sidewalk, hoping she’s going the right way.

Elisa knew that many people assumed immediately that she's a lesbian. Admittedly, she can't even argue against it. All she hopes is that people don't treat her differently for it. Now that you caught her looking, she didn't know if she was overreacting for panicking.

You on the other hand was caught off guard, you swore you saw her eyes glance at Amy's ass. Truthfully, you had glanced at Amy’s ass before. Everyone did. But it bothered you that Elisa glanced at it with a smirk on her face, the way the guys did. It's unbelievable how Amy was able to disrupt your tour with Elisa just by a few minutes.

You stride towards her, keeping a safe distance between the both of you. “That's the football pitch as you can see. That's where we have PE classes too. At lunch, you can either eat or play here. Most students usually eat for 15 minutes and then play the rest.” Your voice was quieter than usual. 

Elisa noticed the change in your demeanor, and she can't tell if it's because of Amy or her. She pretended to look around the pitch, but her mind was all over the place. She thought it would be good to know you and create new friends, but now she just wanted Fleur and Marie.

You pointed at the gates at the back of the pitch. There was a long metal fence that surrounded the school, it was made for school safety and so the students don't just leave whenever they feel like it. But there was a small walking trail from it, “the empty area behind the fence is the school's. We only use it for events. I don't know if your friends told you, but there will be a day where our class camps there.”

A giggle broke out from Elisa, followed by her biting her lip to stop. You glanced back to look at her confused, but she quickly looked away from you to the gate, mumbling a “sorry, they told me a funny joke about this.”

Blush bloomed into your cheeks. Of course you know what joke they made, that's what every person says about ‘Camp Out’. You glanced at the clock, realizing that it's 5 minutes before first class. As you were about to tell Elisa that, a screech was heard as well as bags thrown to the ground.

When you turned around to see what happened, you found Elisa being crushed by a hug from Fleur, their giggles loud and chaotic.

“Omg I can't believe you joined the school!” Although you've known Fleur for over 5 years, you've never seen her this happy. Awkwardly glancing between the both of them, you were unsure if you should leave them alone or say hi to Fleur.

“So much happened in Portugal I'll tell you later,” Elisa’s hands stayed on Fleur's waist. But when she turned her head to her right, she saw you slowly stepping away from them. “Oh, that's y/n, she helped me around.”

Elisa wasn't sure why she did this, of course you know Fleur. But seeing you awkwardly looking at them this way made her feel something unexplainable. She quickly removed her hands from Fleur and pointed at you.

“Oh yeah! She does this every year,” She waves at you kindly. She grabs Elisa's hand and starts pulling her towards the side benches. Quickly glancing at you, she says, “thanks for helping. She hates meeting new people so I hope she wasn't being a bitch.”

Elisa's face turned red in embarrassment, whispering ‘shut up’ to Fleur as she dragged her away from you.

Your body was filled in shame, feeling as if you interrupted a moment. The only time you felt that way was when you were talking to Amy and José…And they went to the ‘unused’ classroom afterwards.

Your body was frozen, zoning out as you looked at the both of them on the benches arguing,

“Hot new guy?” a sudden voice creeped up from behind you. Quickly identifying it as Sam, your best friend.

“What? No!” You turned to look at Sam in bafflement. Sam had a small smirk on her face, waiting for your explanation. But when you opened your mouth and nothing came out, she laughed.

“What? You looked like you saw Amy pull the new hot guy that you just had great chemistry with to the ‘ehm ehm’ room.”

“That was weirdly specific…” you accusingly looked at her.

“Eh. I just can read you very well.” You felt annoyed, who does she think she is? No, she's wrong. Elisa is not a hot guy, she's not even a guy in the first place.

“For your knowledge, you're wrong,” You rolled your eyes, walking back to the building for the first class. “It was Fleur.”

“Fleur stole the hot guy from you? Damn I didn't know she flirts.” Sam's jaw dropped to the ground, looking around to try and find Fleur. But her blonde hair blended in with every other blonde girl.

“No! The new student is a girl, and Fleur knows her. That's it. No hot guy, and no drama. Let's just go to class before it's too late.” You frustratingly grabbed her arm and pulled her inside the school building.

Sam had always liked teasing you to get you angry, but she had a feeling today isn't the day to joke with you. So she stayed silent and allowed you to drag her to your first class.

“Welcome back everyone!” The biology teacher squealed in excitement. You turned to look at the back of the class, checking if Fleur and Marie are there. Elisa was sitting with them, face twisted in anxiety, already aware of what Ms. Jeena would do.

“Since our school is small, it's rare to get a new student. Please treat Elisa kindly.” She pointed at the back of the class, all of the students turning to look at who is ‘new’. The class turned quiet for a few seconds, some murmurs arose around the ‘boys’ area of the class, and a low gasp from Sam. “Elisa, why don't you stand up and tell us…your age and hobbies.”

You felt bad for Elisa, this would make anyone uncomfortable, especially someone as different as her. Elisa nervously glanced at Marie and stood up, coughing and muttering, “I'm 14. I like football and… watching movies.”

Immediately, she sat down and covered her face with her hands. Fleur awkwardly patted her back to comfort her, holding a laugh at how awkward she was. Ms. Jeena noticed the awkward atmosphere around the class, so she decided to immediately start talking about a poster presentation that should review what the class studied the previous year. Your head was still turned to look at Elisa, her face red and eyes filled with discomfort.

Sam tapped you on the shoulder, making you glance away from the group. She got closer and whispered, “wow at least I'm not the only one who's gonna get hate crimed.”

You rolled your eyes, opening your notebook to write the criteria needed for the poster. Sam is an Indian student, and although there are some people of color in class, Indians were not one of them. So Sam gets a lot of rude comments, whether it's about her ‘skin’ or ‘smell’. Sam doesn't mind it, saying she went through worse in her older school. This allows her to make jokes about the racist encounters without feeling hurt.

“She's odd right?” She continued, glancing at her empty table, clearly not bringing anything since it's the first day of school. “How did she just… befriend them that quick?”

“Sam, stop talking about her!” You whisper-shouted at her, nudging your foot with hers. “They play at the same football academy.” You responded to her question, writing the date and following the teacher's instructions.

“Makes sense.”

“This year, I want to try something different with you guys. Every time I let you guys choose your partners, you always choose the same person.” She walked around the class, looking each of the students in the eyes, “I will choose your partner for this assignment.”

Sighing frustratingly, you closed your eyes and rested your head on your hands. You were on great terms with a lot of the students in your class, yet you didn't have the energy to talk to any of them.

The teacher opened her mouth to say something, but the way the class was booing and groaning forced her to stay quiet for a few seconds. “Okay guys! The names will be on the board right now so please stay quiet.”

You glanced at Sam with a disappointed face, feeling awful at how you both will be separated on the first day already. You waited as the teacher was writing the names, Sam already partnered with some girl at the front. But she still sat next to you, waiting to see who will be your partner.

The teacher had already written 8 pairs, which means that there is only one left, you and Elisa. You were sure Ms. Jeena did this because of your friendliness and wanted you to help her. Sam giggled when she realized, tapping your shoulder and whispering, “I feel bad, she looks like she's about to rage.”

Just as Sam stood up, Elisa dragged herself to your table, slowly pulling the chair and sitting on it. She nodded her head awkwardly towards you in acknowledgement as she fiddled her hands with each other on the table.

The teacher had handed out the A3 posters, saying the poster should explain photosynthesis. Thankfully, it was your favorite unit from last year, so you jotted all the information you remember as quickly as you can in your notebook.

Elisa sat there feeling awkward, looking at you scribbling nonsense in your book. She isn't stupid, but she can't remember anything that's 2 weeks ago, so she just sat there and waited until you told her what to do.

After you wrote what you can remember, you turned to look at Elisa. Her face was slightly pink, a fake smile on her face when she realized you looked away from your notes to glance at her.

“Umm…do you want to draw the cell, or write about it? What do you think you're good at?” You realized you've been rude towards her, she probably wanted to help you. “Sorry for not asking you in the beginning.”

Elisa felt embarrassed, she clearly can't remember anything about photosynthesis. She looked down at the large sheet in front of her, “oh no it's okay, I'll just draw the diagram…but I need a good reference, you know?”

You gave her a smile while avoiding her glance. You raised your hand to speak to the teacher. “Hey, can Elisa and I go to the library to look at pictures of the cell for a more accurate poster?”

The teacher nodded in your direction, trusting you to not do anything stupid. This is one of the perks of being a ‘good student’, they will trust you with anything. You turned to look at Elisa, standing up and grabbing your large colorful pencil case.

Elisa grabbed the poster and followed you. Her eyes glanced at her friends for one last second. When you reached the dark library, you pointed at the computer screens, sitting down on one of the chairs and smiling at Elisa, “I want you to draw a big leaf, and then a microscope zooming in with the thylakoid in it. Does that make sense?” Elisa nodded in understanding, pulling colors from your pencil case to start. “I'll write the information on the side.”

As the both of you worked, silence filled the library. The small Golden light bulbs created a sleepy atmosphere, making your body calm and tired. You finished writing quickly, now resting your head on the table to wait for Elisa to finish her part. You turned your head to glance at her, looking at her features while she was working. From this angle, you realized that she still had feminine features in her face, it's just her hair and flat chest that makes her look ‘manly’. (though you never really cared about anyone's chest… we're all kids and it doesn't matter!)

Your face flushed when you looked up to see her looking at you, your eyes diverting to the paper to see if she's done. Elisa had felt your eyes on her, you were resting your head close to her body and she could clearly see you. Her body was mildly sweaty from the whole chaos that happened in class, and she thought making this poster alone with you would help her calm down.

But when she looked at you, she realized your eyes were glancing at her body… her chest. She didn't know what to make sense of this, were you looking at her to mock her? Or were you checking her out just like how she looks at other women? It's obvious that it's the first question, because no one has ever looked at her with a romantic glance. She has accepted that the day she'll find the one is far, now she’s too young to worry about her depressing love life. 

From the insulting whispers in class, anger bubbled up in her. You'll be just like them, mocking her for doing what she wants. Why would she expect something else? At the end of the day, you're popular. And anyone who's popular is a bitch.

You lifted your head from the table, glancing at the computer screen to avoid looking at her eyes again. She caught you looking at her body, and that's embarrassing. Usually when a girl catches you looking, you joke out a compliment. But when it came to elisa, your tongue got stuck, and all you were able to do is just look away.

“I'm done.” Elisa stood up, her chair screeching loudly making you flinch. Her hand grabbed the poster and walked away, leaving you alone in your seat. You stood up and logged out of the computer, running to catch up with her.

“Thanks for working, I could've helped in coloring.” You whispered. You can tell that the atmosphere turned awkward, her eyebrows furrowed and clearly thinking about something else. 

She didn't want to speak to you. In fact, she didn't want to speak to anyone, even Marie and Fleur. She just wanted to go home and probably watch a match to distract herself from whatever is happening in this school. She can't believe she's already feeling this way and it's the first class, she wondered how shit her other classes would be.

When she reached the class, she gave the poster to the teacher and sat back in her old seat since it was empty anyways. Sam noticed your distracted gaze, waving her hand to gain your attention. The feeling of shame returned to you, there is no way Elisa is angry at you for a glance, we're all girls and it's okay, right?

Maybe something happened, maybe she remembered something that hurt her. Maybe she's not actually annoyed at you and she probably had something else that bothered her. Or maybe you’re overreacting and she probably was acting normal.

The rest of the day went smoothly, the teacher allowed the students to talk to their friends since it's your first day. Sam had asked you about what happened with Elisa in the library. Your response was simple, “she was tired and annoyed at how the boys were talking about her. She didn't even glance at me.”

Sam nodded, feeling bad for Elisa. For the rest of the day, Elisa just slept in class. Suddenly, her trip to Portugal didn't matter, she felt emotionally exhausted and drained. Fleur and Marie felt guilty, knowing that a part of Élisa's sadness is from them. They're the ones who begged her to join their school.

Now the day is over and you're walking home. Sam goes with her dad, her house is too far for her to just walk. As you put your headphones on, you noticed Elisa walking the same way as you. Her strides were larger, obviously trying to escape school as fast as possible. Now that you know Elisa lives close to you, it makes everything worse.

It's Wednesday, the day your class has PE. The school has given you a uniform and a locker room to change. There is a habit that all girls change in the same area, since the room only has lockers and no private cubicles to change. But ever since you were a kid, you always took your clothes and changed in the bathrooms privately, because looking at naked women around you made you feel uncomfortable, and you always valued your ‘modesty’.

So you went to the lockers to grab your PE uniform and stepped in the girls’ bathroom. When you got in, you saw Elisa already dressed in her uniform, her hands playing around with her silky hair in front of the mirror. When she looked at your reflection in the mirror, she rolled her eyes, grabbed her things, and left you with no words. You looked at your blue uniform in your hands and sighed, feeling like your day has just been ruined.

After long minutes of changing, you went back to the locker room to place your clothes back in your locker. You noticed Amy lifting her hair in a high ponytail, light makeup on her face. She caught you looking and stepped closer to you, signaling with her hand for you to come closer to her. When you did, she whispered, “did you see Elisa in the bathrooms?”

You frowned in confusion, “yeah, why?”

She bit her lip and looked around, “people are saying she’s a lesbian…that’s why she was too scared to dress with us.”

When she saw the confused look never left your face, she gave you a disappointed glance. “Wait… what is a ‘lesbian’?”

She mockingly laughed, “are you serious?” When she realized you weren’t joking, she covered her face and sighed. “It means when a girl only likes girls…like guys.”

Realization hits you. Is she? There is a name for it? You had felt weird with Elisa, and you had suspected that she likes girls the way boys do. But you never knew there was a name for it, and that could possibly mean there is a whole community that way.

“Why? I dress alone in the bathroom, that doesn’t make me a lesbian.”

“y/n be serious! You’re… you. And Elisa… you know, she dresses differently. I am not disgusted by her, I’m just telling you what I think about her.”

You didn’t know what else to say, so you awkwardly nodded and walked distractingly. 

Throughout the whole PE class, Elisa dominated the girls. While Paul dominated the guys. You were impressed at her speed, humbling everyone although Katoto was very close. The trio (Elisa, Katoto, and Fleur) were distanced from the rest of the girls, only joining when the coach tells them to.

After the session, you took your clothes and went immediately to the bathrooms to change back. You can hear her shuffling in the cubicle next to you, and the idea of Elisa being naked right next to you somehow made you panic.

Elisa knew she had to get used to naked women, especially if she wanted to become a professional football player. Her academy teammates lightly tease her. But thankfully, they are very open about her being gay. In fact, there were around 2 girls that had come out in her team. She complained to Fleur and Katoto about what happened in the library. Katoto called Elisa ‘dramatic’ and that you were probably just zoning out and thinking about something else, while Fleur laughed and told her that you never meant to harm her. So, tbh, there's no need for Knight!Luigi and Mario to "meet", and by that I mean--- Luigi and Mario were never seperated and they already know eachother.

Luigi's whole deal, and the reason he was able to become a knight in the first place, is that he kinda... just sorta moved out.

Let me explain: He in this au, Luigi of course loves Mario dearly, that's his twin brother, his main man, his bestfriend, his homeslice breadslice dog. However, after retrieving some subpar treatment, he decided to seperate from Mario, and go his own little journey of self discovery. He's never been apart from Mario. And though he's scared, he's terrified even, he wants to know who he's capable of being on his own. So he leaves to go journey, Mario of course wishes him good luck, but is SO fucking nervous something bad will happen to him and encourages him to write him.

(More Backstory under cut cause this post is looooong)

Most of his journey is fine, and well and good, until he gets dundundunnn caught by Bowser. (For the purposes of this au, let's imagine that Kamek freed and unshrunken him post Mario Movie)--- So, he catches Luigi to get revenge, but at this point he's developed a bit more of a backbone and some serious skills to defend himself, so he almost escapes the castle, but is stopped by Bowser himself, who--- in a twist of fate is impressed by his skill.

Basically the interaction that follows goes "Ayo I'll let you live if you work for me" "I'm still very terrified of you so bet" (ofc he's plotting to return the whole while, but needs to find a time when it's safe)

So now mans lives in the castle with Bowser, and he gets training to really hone his skills--- they gradually get used to eachother, and since this is a Bowuigi centric au, yall already know the deal fr.

SORRY I got SO incredibly sidetracked, but since I already wrote all this I ain't deleting it--- to get to the core of the question---

If Mario were to ever meet Luigi in his knight formmmm hmmm.

If he were to meet while Luigi was doing some on duty shit with Bowser watching, he'd have to resort to going completely nonverbal to avoid being recognized--- in my very first post about Knight!Luigi he can avoid being recognized as his usual self by switching from an italian accent to a brooklyn one, but--- seeing as Mario knows his brother, and knows his voice, he'd recognize either one. This would probably give off an impression of a really intimidating, serious and skilled Knight to the opposition, when really Weggy just tryna to avoid being recognized---

If they just happened to cross paths with no eyes on them, Luigi would shed the mask SO fucking quick and give him a hug. Though, since Luigi has risen through the ranks and became very known as someone to be feared in his persona, this would leave Mario both very relieved, and VERY confused.

What's funny as hell is Tae flat out saying in everyone's faces he's excited to go to military alone and do his own thing and will look forward to coming back together afterward to see what its like for everyone. How Peter Griffin helped me realize I was trans.

No, that title isn't a joke. My heavy Peter Griffin kin geniunely helped guide my path to realizing I was a transgender male.

I'm not gonna lie- I used to make fun of kinning when I was younger when I was a kid with unrestricted internet access & made fun of all these concepts that were fairly new to me at the time. I think I realized kinning wasn't bad when I was 12 but acted like I hated it because I didn't want my friends to make fun of me. Said friends donot talk to me or atleast changed their mindset on kinning. When I was around 14/15, I became more invested in the kin community. I realized that most of the things that described kin fit me perfectly. I always related to Peter Griffin- He was my favorite character in Family Guy, besides Brian & Lois. Yet, the word "relate" didn't fit strong enough to me. I felt "related" to Peter to a more spiritual connection sort of way. Even to this day, it's a bit hard to explain but that's a story for another day when I can find the words to say it. Anywho, I eventually realized my feelings aligned with kin. I won't lie, I was in heavy denial since kinning Family Guy is considered cringe & we're not quite at that point where it's considered normal. I tried to identify with my kin of Stan Marsh more since South Park kin is considered less embarassing. I do kin Stan, but it's not as heavy as Peter so I felt like I was being someone else. Sounds familiar to another experience of pretending to be someone you're not, right? Anywho.. I was known as a Stan Marsh kin for about 3-ish years or so. Yet I couldn't hide the Peter kin I was hiding. By the time I was 18,I accepted it. I realized I can't hide who I truly identify with, and accepted it. I told some friends- They were more accepting than I expected. I felt so happy. I decided to go by Peter as a second name (Keep in mind, I identified as a female at the time but I thought of Peter as a gender neutral name (If you think about it, all names are inherently gender neutral.). Yet, I still didn't feel right. There was a weight off my chest, but it wasn't fully off. I started feeling uncomfortable with my deadname being used & started using Peter as my first name. But then I realized she/her pronouns weren't working for me either once I made the leap to being called Peter- I asked people to refer to me by any, but secretly I meant don't call me she/her. I started asking those close to me to use he/him and they/them interchangeably for a week, and I realized he/him made me more comfortable than both she/her and they/them. It was at that moment I realized I wasn't a female. I was a male, born in the wrong body. (I know I realized I was FtM pretty late in life, but keep in mind during my teen years I was coerced into following some pretty crappy ideologies + the environment I grew up in IRL just wasn't for trans people + Just had an incredibly low self esteem growing up to realize the reason I felt miserable was because of dysphoria.). And then I realized.. Embracing my Peter kin was the core reason that led me to figuring out my true identity. If I hadn't accepted it & let cringe culture take over my life, I would've never realized my true self. I would've stayed closeted and self conscious my whole life. I'm proud to say I'm a happier person now after coming to terms with both things.. I'm planning on starting testorone once everything in my life is settled- I'm currently in college and work a 9-5 job, so once I graduate & move from my state I'm excited to start the path of turning into my true self. I'm glad I got to share this story with yall, I used to be embarassed about it but I've learned to embrace the "cringe " sides of me, realizing I was much happier.

Is thinking Jungkook would have killed Vibes 😔

Vocally at least. That pop groovy style is so Jungkook. So it surprised me when I read reviews from other blogs and they are all seemed to suggest that Taeyang stepped outside his comfort zone for this. One of these days I will sue auto correct.

The song in its entirety is reminiscent of BTS's recent pop songs and style. I swear I could hear and feel BTS in the song. Or perhaps it's because I'm used to listening to JMs voice intertwined with V's Jin's and Jungkook's. But I also wondered if whoever wrote the song had BTS in mind. Won't be surprised.

It reminds me of My Universe. The drums, the beat the pauses- especially towards the end of the song.

But this Taeyang person brought something to the table. He sounds very seasoned and confident and I love his swag. It's everything the song needed to be transformed.

Looking at him, I think of Suga and Namjoon and even Hobi. Not sure if it's because he's mature and a hyung but I think he shares a similar style of delivery when it comes to his swag.

I always say this, in my head of course, most of what excites me about the hyung line is their attitude, their delivery and then the whole package.

Jungkook has swag but he has a lot of humility too. Not sure if performance wise he would have been able to pull off that swag and attitude and bravado this song needs.

Jimin himself seemed a little reserved in the performance. Except for the opening. And a few sprinkled moments here and there.

I've seen Jimin go crazy on a track during performances on stage. I've seen wild hip thrusts, and sexiness and Diva vibes and energy and seduction and oomph.

It's frustrating when he tries to be gentle won't lie

And it's crazy how he complains of muscle aches but will keep going and pushing himself. He's so disciplined and such a professional.

I'm doing the opposite of that. I don't have any expectations whatsoever. I want to go in with a clean slate and consume whatever he has made objectively. He might try something new, something old, introduce us to new things, remind us of old things, reminisce, give us butterflies in the stomach and make us feel nostalgic.

Some of his songs will make us dance, some will make us cry, some will be on replay on the drive or it won't. Regardless I will be so happy and excited for him because this is his first project.

It's not a make it or break it situation. He will have so many years ahead of him to make new songs different songs and so many opportunities redeem himself or make hit songs.

I don't want him to feel a sense of pressure thinking he has to get it right. He is simply making a foray into new territory. No body will judge him based on his first album. It's his second that matters. And even that the third will matter more and the forth and the fith.

You can't live in your past glory and whatever you do today is already gone.

If you mess up today tomorrow is an opportunity to redeem yourself. You just have to try and keep going.

So no, I don't have any expectations. Whatever he has done is already great and I know in my hearts of hearts I will enjoy it regardless.

FULL MOON THEORIES YALL

DHORKS N CHERUBS TEAMING UP WTF??? Thinking this is Mastermind---the title fits, and there isn't really anywhere else I think it belongs. It may be a subplot of the other episodes, though, so I'm not fully sure.

Obviously Ghostfuckers. I've seen some theories saying that this weird fishman is Levianthan (Envy), and honestly, I'll take it. Whatever scraps can feed into my obsession. But I wouldn't point out the obvious, there's more to this.

BLITZ DID NOT HAVE THIS MUCH SCARRING ON HIS LEGS AND STOMACH BEFORE!!! We see in Harvest Moon Festival that he only has spots around there, blobs of white. It's further confirmed in Ex's and Ooh's, when we see a bit of naked Blitz (simps begone) when the designs probably fully stabilized. So somewhere before Ghostfuckers, I'm assuming Apology Tour, Blitz gets hurt bad. Really bad. I'm not prepared for the angst.

This is Stolas'. I'm guessing a reminder of his for the full moon. Plus, the background is the same family crest that we see as his wallpaper in other Stolas episodes. This is probably right before the duet (which I have not seen any of other than fridge Stolas because tumblr gave me that glorious thing).

All shots with Blitz in his cute lil outfit are Full Moon, since Stolas confronts him here. I'm guessing they go through some turmoil and angsty drama this whole episode (how dare). I'm SUPER excited for that, but another aspect of this episode is also getting me hyped up.

FIZZIEEEEE ₊‧°𐐪♡𐑂°‧₊ IN THE FULL MOON!!! I'm guessing he's hyping Blitz up, taking him around Lust and talking to him about his night with Stolas. This... thing... yeah I'm not talking about that.

Anyways, Fizz is becoming the wingman here, hopefully another in-universe shipper like M&M.

I'm also curious to see if they make an appearance in Full Moon, too. I've been STARVED of my Millie and Moxxie content. I've noticed throughout the trailer, there's been more Millie than Moxxie, which is great, considering she hasn't gotten her deserved screen time and attention. I want to know more about her and her relationship with Blitz. "You always take from those around you and leave them worse and more broken than you found them." We can infer that she's referring to Blitz in this VO, and she sounds a bit upset with him. My theory is Apology Tour or Ghostfuckers, since they seem to spend a lot more time together in that episode. I'm not seeing too much Moxxie in that one, though. His absence in the trailer is surprising. I'm glad we get more Millie stuff, but I want the scales to even out. What I'm really hoping for is their backstory. I love the 'Millie was the babysitter' theory, hope that will become or is canon.

ANYWAY, back to Blitz and Millie.

In every shot we see of Ghostfuckers, it's only Blitz and Millie. Moxxie doesn't make an appearance in the hotel. Sad, but I'm glad we're getting Millie content!

Now this. I don't know what to do with this. I took a screenshot at a bad time, but you later see 2 bullet holes on her chest. I don't think this is actually Millie.

Similarly to the way Blitz is possessed in this scene, I think this is a hallucination or a trick for Blitz. I'm unsure of Levianthan's (if that's truly him) involvement or goals, but he could be trying to hit Blitz where it hurts. If Blitz allowed Millie to get hurt, he'd be upset. We know Blitz goes through a lot of emotional turmoil involving self-worth and how he cares for those around him, so maybe Levianthan found a weakness. I can see this being before he got possessed---when blitz snaps and tries to help this "Millie," he falls into the trap. After that, she has to fight it out of him.

I'm guessing this leads to the flashback, too, when we see long-hair Millie from before her and Moxxie's wedding. Lore on how she met Blitz!!!

There are a lot of fight scene shots in Lust (LOONA HELLO??? IM SO GLAD SHES BACK), but I can only fit so many screenshots into one post. One thing I do know is that none of them are with Blitz. My guess is that this is Apology Tour, while he's confronting Stolas and Verosika, finally amending those relationships (romantic or not). This could also be Full Moon. Anything but Ghostfuckers---that episode is already too full to have a subplot or later action. My question is, what are they fighting? The action is one of my favorite parts of Helluva Boss, and this episode seems packed with it. My one question here is WHO THE FUCK IS THAT

WHOSE POWER RANGER ASS DECIDED THEY COULD JUST WALTZ IN WITH THAT WEIRD AND COOL AS FUCK ROCKET LAUNCHING HAND LIKE WHAT??? THIS PERSON IS THE ONE SHOOTING ALL THE EXPLOSIONS IN THE TRAILER!! I'm wondering if this is a one-shot antagonist like they used to do, back when the show was much less structured. I'll admit, I liked the idea of having more episodes like that. I know the CHERUB one and Murder Family weren't favorites, and I love the fact that the plot is now in fact plotting, but it could be nice to have this little break. I have no idea when this will be, honestly.

Another thing I noticed about Power Ranger is the skull(?) on their chest. It makes me wonder if this has anything to do with Blitz's skull thing on his neck, the little charm-like choker he's always wearing that he got from his mom. It's a stretch, but I'm just trying to make sense of this all.

I'm really hoping Oz or Fizz makes an appearance here, whether it be a cameo in the background or a part with actual lines. Counting Full Moon, that's 3 Fizz episodes in a row, but I love the divergent path Helluva Boss took to circle back to Stolitz. Blitz needs to fix his past relationships and get his shit together to give it to Stolas. He needed to fix things with Fizz, Verosika, maybe Barbie to get where he wants to be. I truly think he'll want to be with Stolas after seeing and hearing about the accepted dynamic with Fizzarozzie. I like the idea of Fizz teaching him that their social class doesn't need to matter when it comes to love.

Agh. Emotions. Back to the analysis.

They could just be trying to trick us with the editing, but I think that these two shots really are connected. The Cherubs and DHORKS must have found a way to make a portal to hell, which appears to be forming right in front of the I.M.P. gang inside their building. I'm curious to see how this goes, especially with the two stupid ones teaming up. Who knows? They could be really powerful.

I'm guessing this is the end of Mastermind, considering Agent One's reaction. I'm curious to see the way it ends and who does what. Obviously, I.M.P. can't get into too much trouble, but I'm wondering if Blitz's earthly shenanigans get him into that court case, and Stolas' involvement in them.

The change in scenery tells me Blitz got his ass thrown out. He reached for Stolas, he finally looked his way, and Stolas couldn't do it. He most likely teleported him out in some Goetia magic shit way, and Blitz looks hurt after. Confused. He's gotten so used to Stolas clinging to him, reaching for his affection only to never earn it. In a way, I believe Stolas made Blitz feel wanted. Blitz believes he hurts everyone around him, further confirmed by the VO. He thinks he ruins everything, making it all shittier, worse. Stolas doesn't show him that. In a way, I believe Blitz got used to it, even while he didn't mean to. He'd grown accustomed to that affection, that longing. And finally, when he'd realized how he felt for Stolas, he was rejected.

But I know this is Apology Tour. I'm hoping it's a "Fuck you Blitz" duet with Verosika and Stolas on her Pride Tour! Shown in the Hell's Belles short, there's an advertisement for her tour, hence the name, Apology Tour. Breakup Stolas is honestly BEAUTIFUL. I love his outfit, the romantic goth change! I'm a sucker for those sleeves---this is just a masterpiece.

I'm both excited and terrified for the Full Moon. Blitz is all dressed up, excited, even, and bought Stolas a candle. He bought him a fucking candle with Fizz. I'm screaming. I'm squealing. Not even like in a teenage girl way, like a rabid pig whose been let loose from the pen way. AND WHY THE FUCK IS IT THAT HUGE LIKE STOLAS IS BIGGER BUT STILL JEEZ BLITZ-

He seems so happy, and so does Stolas, but I have a feeling he'll be down. From the shots I've seen of the duet, Stolas runs out of antidepressants. Posts I've seen theorize that might change his mood and behavior during the full moon. I, personally, love that theory. Stolas being off his antidepressants and nervous as hell combined with Blitz's obvious misinterpretations will be bad. I'm glad they didn't show us too much of the full moon---I want my heart to break then and only then.

Going back to Apology Tour, I think that Stolas needs that alone arc, at least for an episode. He needs the character development without Blitz, and I hope he's singing his heart out about exactly how he feels. My guess is that he won't know that Blitz is there. I'm just wondering how he got in contact with Verosika. Maybe some friendship happening there?? I hope so! I'm excited to see them meet!!

CASUAL STOLAS. No slutty (NOT SHAMING HE LOOKS GORGEOUS) robe, no regal clothing. It's simple. And, judging by Blitz's smile in the first image, they're getting along. Contrary to popular belief, I think their breakup is only going to last until the end of Apology Tour, when they talk things out once more and make up. I think this is either Sinsmas or a subplot to Mastermind (though I slightly doubt the latter). My theory: Stolas lost his power and position as prince of Hell. We know there's a court case, and it involves both of them (I think?). Now, the second image, I'm not sure who he's talking to. At first, I thought it was Blitz, but they seem to be getting along. The bratty sarcasm that Stolas seems to depict might not be a sign of hatred. I then figured it would be Stella. "Do you feel any remorse for what you do?" I'm second-guessing that, though, too, since there isn't much of a height difference between them and he is looking down. My last idea, and it's a long shot, is that they're lip-syncing it. Animation trailers are tricky in that way. But the tone fits, and it lines up quite perfectly. Still not sure about that one.

Yall I really think I'm cursed.

I tried to open up to a friend about some issues that were really concerning me. A friend I really cared for and issues that were very personal. Like. Within a sentence she had immediately brushed past my thing to talk about her own. Spending three or four paragraphs of words on that and I got like a awww *pat pat*. Not to be a choosing beggar, but I had hoped to maybe talk about it with you and share that burden momentarily cuz I felt in that moment it's weight might crush me, but yeah we can talk about your day. Sure. Like most of the rest of our conversations. Sure.

I was really enjoying talking to a different girl. In a romantic sense. Wooing and stuff. Cool as hell. Smart. Quick-witted and pretty. The first time she ignored something important to me, I thought she had maybe just not seen or heard me and moved on. And that's fine. After the tenth time, I realized she was cherry picking the things I said that she responded to. Whole important bits just glossed over. I cannot explain to you the heartbreak of seeing someone you're growing to care for respond to something that excites you with a 👍.

Okay so, these are my ratings for the tracks on portals,

and I just want to preface this by saying these are only my opinions and yours are obviously allowed to differ from mine!/lhgen

DEATH: 7/10. Pretty solid, the music video looks cool, I like the huge mushroom. It's stuck in my head lol.

VOID: 8/10, also really like VOID. I relate to alot of the themes of it and just jejabduajeuwj VOID my beloved. My one gripe is the constant use of the same visualizer, but that isn't exclusive to VOID and is a thing through out the whole album.

TUNNEL VISION: 9/10. Really liked the lyrics, really liked how the word "portal" was in there, as sorta of an homage to the name of the album.

FAERIE SOIRÈE: 6.5/10. I liked it. It wasn't bad by any means, I just would've liked it more if maybe it was longer? I feel like if it was longer that would give it a chance to truly shine.

LIGHT SHOWER: 10/10. I love LIGHT SHOWER. It's on all my main playlists now. I love Its' sound, I love the lyrics, metaphors, message, even the title. This is one of my favorite songs Melanie has ever put out.

SPIDER WEB: 8/10. I like the metaphors, underlying message, and instrumental. I relate to SPIDER WEB alot, and for that it's earned its place as one of my favorites.

LEECHES: 7.5, if you R U looking 4 me now? By Jazmin Bean, you might like this since they have some themes in common. They don't share any sounds, just some themes. I like LEECHES, it's just not my favorite.

BATTLE OF THE LARYNX: 8.5. I really like the sound and lyrics, but it just didn't quite hit in all the right places, still a great song though!

My overall score for the album is an 8/10, it's not bad, it has the same level of quality as Crybaby and K-12, it just doesn't hit as well as I 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 believe it could.It certainly is different aesthetic wise, which isn't bad by any means, I personally actually like this aesthetic. Its' just not what were used to.

Hi! This is going to be a long answer because there isn't many things I love more than getting the chance to word vomit about fic ideas so Buckle Up.

First things first-- I decide how to write based on my commission list (fully funded gets written first) and then occasionally I get The Itch to write a specific idea and have to write it immediately, which is how both Risk and Rest happened-- they weren't commissioned, I just couldn't get the idea out of my head. With commissions I try very hard to set deadlines for myself to give my readers a fairly quick turnaround but this year with my health issues I am very far behind and have apologized approximately 80,000 times for not being able to stick to my usual update schedule.

And YES I write every single day. This last week (Thanksgiving to this most recent Friday) I was hunting so I wasn't writing those days but other than that, yes I write every single day. I use Google Docs for everything that way even if I'm at work or at the doctors office I can open a doc and write down ideas or flesh out outlines or sometimes just straight up write chapters on my phone. I have a healthy dose of ADHD so I can't even watch a movie without needing to do something else at the same time, so I've gotten in the habit of keeping my laptop open while a movie plays so even if I only manage a few pages in a fic, I still can write every day.

Flayed!Billy Soulmate AU-- this one will, and I mean this with all seriousness, mcfuck you up. I've cried just an astonishing amount of tears just jotting down ideas for this. The angst. The trauma. The soulbonding. The recovery. The falling in love. It's gonna be too much in all the best (worst) ways.

The one where Neil Dies-- I don't have a title for this yet, but Neil is gonna die, guarantee it. This one is Omegaverse as well ft. Alpha! Billy who thinks Steve is an Alpha and cannot handle the idea of Steve being an Omega.

Mob!Boss Billy-- this one came from the TS Song "gorgeous" and sort of snowballed if I'm being honest. Twists and turns and under the desk blowjobs cos why not.

Alpha!BillySteve-- for all the Omega!Steddie is softy soft mcsofty face, this one is just straight up SAVAGE

UD!Billy-- not a whole lot fleshed out for this one but it's my take on the probably already over used trope of "steve goes through watergate and billy is alive on the other side" and its going to be FUN.

I also have probably 15 short stories for each pairing, another several long fic ideas that aren't fleshed out enough to talk about yet and about a billion "wouldn't it be funny if..." blurbs jotted down. I'm basically exploding with ideas.

The flayed!Billy soulmate one will be the first fic I write after I finish up Rest (this month) Codependent (January) and MAMC (we've got.... seventeen more chapters?). It isn't funded yet but I've got a couple people lined up to commission it so that one will be first and then probably the Omega steddie one cos I literally can't stop thinking about that one.

I feel like I have about two years until Season Five drops and shatters my dramatic little heart so I gotta cram all my best ideas in to the next 24 months!!!!

Ok so I haven't actually told this story to anyone other than my therapist and discord group since they got live updates that whole day. At the time I was too mortified to share it with anyone else, buuuuut time has passed and since we're all getting excited over Joseph coming to New Orleans I figured what better time share my experience at FanExpo Canada. 🙈

Now historically I actually handle myself really well in front of celebrities. I've met Tom Hiddleston, Maya Hawke, Uma Thurman, and Kim Coates all from just being at the right place at the right time. I'd never been to a fan convention before so I didn’t know how these things work.

While I was waiting for the autograph, standing in one of the longest lines I've ever been in in my whole life, I came up with this big brain idea:

Ask if I can get an audio recording of him saying “I love you” in Eddie’s voice so me and everyone in the fandom could have it forever.

I had one shot and I thought that would be absolutely worth it if I could pull it off. He’s a super sweet guy after all.

So finally after hours of waiting I get to the front of the line and I see that there are no phones allowed at all so there goes my initial plan. I wonder if they'll let me ask him for an audio but I'm too afraid they'll say no so I have about 2 minutes to make a decision but yall I am desperate to pull off my plan and get this audio because I think it would be really cute to have it forever 🥺

So what I end up doing is this — as I'm approaching the booth I open the voice recording app on my phone and keep it at my side. When I get up to the front of the line I SET IT ON THE TABLE face down, literally right in front of him.

I know they don't want phones because they don't want videos and I have a feeling that if they see it just sitting there innocently and not pointing at him they probably won't say anything but I am freaking the fuck out about it.

So I go and shake his hand because no hugs were allowed (💔) and it's so soft and his chocolate button eyes are sucking me in and I'm making intense eye contact and he says my name and it's such a sweet moment.

I tell him briefly about the zine that my friend Rhi made and he signs it and says that it's really awesome.

All the while my heart is RACING because I've got my phone out right in front of him and I'm thinking that I only have seconds before somebody says something about it so I fucking panicked and thought that I need to get straight to the point or I was going to lose my shot.

I said that I had a silly request and he said go for it and so boy I fucking went for it

I asked him if he would say "I love you" in Eddie's voice.

and yall. YALL. he said it — but he was so caught off guard and the voice that came out of his mouth was the most bizzare sounding voice I've ever heard and we both knew it

it was not Eddie. it was something else and he just laughed and was like "that it? I think that's it." and inside I was so mortified like no honey that was not it but I just chuckled and thanked him profusely.

BUT HERE'S THE THING

Since I was too afraid to let him know I was recording because I didn't want to get tackled or something he had NO IDEA what the context for me asking was??? I didn't think that part through. I literally just came of as a fucking crazy person 🤣⚰️💀

If he had known I was recording then I could have explained to him that it was something I wanted to KEEP and SHARE with other people who love Eddie and want to hear him say that in a sincere way since we had no idea if we'd ever get to hear Eddie say anything else ever again.

I came in wanting this gift that I could give to the fandom and instead I walked away with one of the most embarrassing moments of my life forever immortalized.
