the busier my friends and i have gotten with our lives the more i’m starting to understand what it means to choose and invest in the friendships you want to keep
#and it’s tough work!! investing time and effort and even money sometimes!!#bc to meet w a friend sometimes you have to grab some coffee or lunch or tickets to that movie#sometimes you have to wake up early for that run. sometimes you have to make that trip down to theirs#sometimes you have to make the conscious choice to message first. ask them how they are. listen and respond when they share#sometimes it’s supporting their endeavours no matter how small#because sometimes the little things to you are boulders to them. sometimes it’s the whole sky#and this isn’t to say that friendship is transactional or that it’s hassle in a bad way#it isn’t easy but it’s the kind if effort we don’t mind making; the kind of hassle that we’re willing to go through#sometimes it’s realising too that if you ask them of anything#they’ll answer in a heartbeat. that you have their support no matter the distance and time you’ve spent apart#idk 🥺 i’m emotional abt my friendships aksksj i love them loads and they’ve supported me tons this past year#and it’s fully sinking in now#it’s been so long since i felt so soft for my friends again#i feel like… i’m me again 🥺#i talked so much again#super personal sel post sorry JAKSNJA

My toxic trait is that I like how my incomplete drawings look better than the finished things

our tree fell over merry christmas ! [Breakdances]
#knox rambles#my mom loves the smell of the pine trees so we do a real tree when we can#and you gotta water those suckers#so we just finished decorating it and watered it#and BLAMMO ITS ON THE FLOOR#cut to me running into the room with the towel i was using as an extra blanket#running back for my shower towel and my old towel that weve been using for the dog#catch me sliding across the floor and basicaly mopping up half the water with my pants and the other half with the towels#pine needles flying everywhere#ornaments in water#all the towels are in the sink now heck actualy i gotta move those so they can dry before i go to sleep actually#anyway i find this to be a highly entertaining adventure#my brothers tell me this is not the first time our tree has fallen over i have no recollection of jt however#so im counting this as my first tree falling over#we're going to bed now cautiously and i fully expect the tree to be back down by morning ngl#miraculously not a single ornament broke#anyway i gotta move those towels um happy december holidays folks#and to all a good night

Forever ago I had a dream about an anime about normal girls who transform into magical girls who transform into dragons. Unfortunately I couldn’t figure out an aesthetic for the magical girls themselves, so I dropped it.
But Next In Fashion’s Minju Kim and Angel Chen referred to their team as Dragon! Princess! and that finally broke through my design slump, so please welcome the cast of the definitely real anime We Eat Dragons to the stage!
#I haven’t fully worked out the mechanics yet but basically#dragons are extremely efficient magical sinks when it comes to holding the world together#but if their not actively hunting down rogue sources of magic they require (potentially) powerful magic users be sacrificed to them#Green (Naga) looked at the dragon that was going to eat her and went Uno Reverse#created a team with the other sacrifices#and now their magical girl/dragons together#my art#magical girl oc#my ocs

if i asked yall questions over time on what people (you guys) look for when you're reading novels specifically (erotica and romance stuff) would anyone be willing to answer in the replies or rb? im working on something original which i've never done as an adult and idk what people look for in their material considering most of my reading has been fanfic. (before anyone says anything or roll their eyes, YES, i do intend to read novels from the genre i intend to work in but i wanna hear from the readers too)

got to finally put paint on the walls in the new places bathroom, my knees started giving out at a certain point so i wasn't able to get up the ladder anymore.
Fun side effect was that you can see exactly how tall I am by how high i was able to reach with the brush without the ladder.
#the plastic bag is all the light switches. they arnt fully mounted on the wall yet so they got bagged to keep them tidy#also i do realize this color is Very perry the platypus#and tbh! i Think itll work with the tile/sink/counters that are going in here but i also kinda hate it now that its up.#im going to finish it bc like#i already paid for the paint and wont be able to get a refund probably#ill probably repaint it later tbh.#its a small room and most of everything is going to be covered by the sink and cabinets#so itll be a weekend project once everything is in and i can better pick a color.#Its goong to be a Lot more green and a bit lighter in the future if it doesn't turn out ok
