Would you believe this picture is like, two years old or so? I meant to upload this AGES ago, but my memory for uploading is incredibly busted these days. So, here's one of my current D&D characters, the half-elf gloomstalker ranger, Lady Penelope Liayra Emma Collingsworth, or Penny for short.

She's heavily based off Lara Croft (obviously) with the design a combination of all three eras. Her name, however, was borrowed slightly from Lady Penelope of Thunderbirds fame. Backstory-wise, I leaned most heavily on the Survivor era, since it gave a good level of pathos to her. She's even gotten her trademark twin pistols since it's a higher tech level game!

It’s her special day! 14th of February marks Lara Croft’s birthday! It’s almost 27 years since she graced our screens back in 1996 and Lara has been with us through countless games, films, comics, books, and more, and quite honestly there isn’t anyone else we’d rather go on adventures with.

Thereby, we wish a wonderful day to our favourite heroine and, of course, a Happy Valentine’s Day to those who celebrate it! 💋

Just wanted to post about my two favorite ladies in gaming. Amazing how we can celebrate them on the same day!

I knew about Lara way before Jill. Not sure why...it's probably because I'm not a huge gamer ha ha! My knowledge about video games is limited but for the ones I do like, I know a lot about!

But yeah, I was a huge fan of Lara since the late 90s. Hard to believe they both debuted back in 1996!

I really regret not knowing about Jill Valentine sooner. Like OMG Jill... where have you been all my life?!? Oh and look! She's trending today! ❤️

She's so amazing. I love every version of her. ❤️

“He’s getting up. Why is he getting up?”

“What do you mean he’s fucking getting up? I thought you just killed him?”

“I did! Fuck, Barty, I shot him in the head! ” Evan yelped into the phone, beads of sweat sitting on his forehead, now.

“Well, unless he’s got a skull made of reinforced fucking steel, he’s not fucking dead, Evan,” Barty scoffed. How the fuck did someone manage to bugger up a clean head shot?

“He’s… getting up. He’s getting up!” Evan was panicking now. How had he fucked this up?

“Get him again! You must’ve missed him. Rosier, fuck me, I can’t believe you fucked this up. Wolf is gonna kill us if you let a corpse walk out of here,” Barty said, and ran a hand through his hair, screwing his eyes tightly shut.

“Fuck me, Barty, it’s like an episode of The Walking Dead , help me! He’s fucking coming right at me!” Evan whisper-shouted through the phone.

The line went dead, and Barty froze. He wondered if he’d have to break protocol and head into the warehouse to kill an apparent zombie. Definitely not something he signed up for. Also, it sounded like something out of a fucking nightmare.

Barty heard a gunshot, followed by another, and then the rapid succession of two more. Fuck the protocol, he had to check on Evan. He never should’ve trusted he could do this alone.
