like shes pretty and does have clothes. for a servant who's legend basically amounts to 'chained up naked on a rock as a sacrifice' it COULD have been a lot worse (hard stare at zenobia)

at the same time i just. am not feeling much for it? i have a bit of an attachment to her outside of fgo and this is just eh to me for whatever reason. on the one hand, they at least didn't make her white which is a relief given her most common place of origin is usually stated to be Aethiopia/Ethiopia, Palestine, India, Libya....you get the picture but it was typically somewhere in Africa and she was typically described as being dark skinned. ON THE OTHER HAND two of her three ascensions seem to be blond which is. idk man im kind of tired of them doing this gyaru-esque shtick for whatever reason, be it bc they dont think people would go for a proper black woman or bc they think it 'looks better' its just old. i also personally would like to see a famous greek mythology character that had at least one ascension that really doubled down on greek costuming instead of doing just what the fuck ever. idk. im just kind of ambivalent i guess?

sometimes you have a cat and she is constantly making little noises, little "mmmrp"s and "hrrrmm"s and "nnnnnnnnnnnn"s and its like having a full conversation across the full breadth of some language you don't really speak but sure sounds like english because she's able to make the same plaintive "mmMM???" every time she wants to step outside and you're like "no" and she goes "mmMMMM?" to which you say "No" and she goes "hhhhhmmm" and then looks you dead in the eye as she repeatedly smacks her food bag, not because she wants food (it's right there in her food bowl, 24/7, because she is both capable of regulating her own meals and also disagrees with the concept of mealtime) but because it makes a very annoying sound and she wishes to voice her displeasure at not being allowed to roam the wilderness where all the coyotes are, and ask her to stop, and she does, for a brief moment, and then says "nnnnnn" and resumes smacking her food bag at a pace so deliberately, infinitesimally slower than her previous attempt and you give up in the hope that she will cease if the eye contact goes away, and it does, and she comes over to sit on your ankle in a way that cannot be comfortable for either of you but she lets out a deep sigh and then starts licking your blanket in the same place she's been licking it since she was seven weeks old, small and mostly comprised of ears and eyes and confusion, and came home with you, and the blanket has been permanently altered but she likes it so much you can't begrudge her even if it is your favorite blanket which saved your life on a cold overnighter in seatac years ago, and then she. fucken "mmmMMMM???"s all over again because it is ceaseless, this conversation, this litany, this chitterchattering. but at least she's cute
