I have been buying a few bio-products lately mostly because the cheap ones are too large/have too many...idk like potatoes for me to actually use and not end up throwing some away and
i swear to god
if one more thing tastes worse than the cheaper option i will never buy them again it’s getting really annoying
the ONE expensive thing so far that tastes better than the cheap one is the bratwurst my great grandpa brings from his local farmer once in a while (it’s really good and nice and soft even when you reheat it but with a nice crispy kinda skin, nothing that drags, nothing that hardens out, just the right texture in all the right places and good taste and everything <3)
but other than that so far my experiences have been subpar so i guess my taste goes
more expensive bio/organic foods<cheapest options<expensive local farm options but i’d have to actually be able to drive out someplace to get any so basically impossible to get lol
#txts#we do have market day tomorrow again#i dont think i can go buy anything bc i work right through their open times#but maybe next time i could buy some eggs and try those?#bc then i have tried every option for them#sadly cant buy meat from them though bc i got no space to store it for multiple hours afterwards because...work#we have the tiniest fridge ever at work...it's not made for my shopping style#i also tried like fresh cut chicken breasts but god....can you...make them big?#and not the tiniest pieces which also have the most gum-like textures around#so i need to cut them even MORE#really annoying#i just wanna eat nice food and have more than 1 option#and also not feel like dying when visiting my vegan friends#FUCK VEGAN MAYO BTW i have strong feelings about that#unsure if they all taste the same but WHICH FUCKER DECIDED TO SWEETEN IT#THIS ISNT SALAD DRESSING FUCK YOU SPECIFICALLY WHOEVER MADE THIS SINGLE MAYO I TRIED AND LEFT ALONE RIGHT AFTERWARD#the nuggest were...fine#bit eh in texture-too flat and paper mache vibes but it was food i was willing to chew on#which is more than i can say for most#this side rant made me hungry now#its 11pm...i am rly not in the mood to cook#and i have no leftovers atm#i wanted to go wait till tomorrow and cook some food them#i lied-i DO have some quick food but i didnt read the full package and it has mushrooms in it#and i am also not in the mood to pick out every.single.mushroom#i need rice to bury it#and my gag reflex to chill out more bc its coming up just thinking about it....gid

BH Cosmetics Glamorous
Tumblr media
My Thoughts: I am obsess with blush palettes, mainly because they come in a variety of different shades I can use while traveling. BH Cosmetics Glamorous comes with 10 beautiful shades, ranging from neutrals to soft pink to dark berries. Each blush is either matte or shimmer. It would be hard to not find a shade for the look I am going for. BH Cosmetics always have sales or coupons when shopping online, but if they don’t the palette itself is pretty cheap. However BH cosmetics no longer has this particular palette for sale so it may be tough to find. I notice some shades apply like a dream however others applied unevenly or patchy. Its best to use a little product at a time, than build up from there with a light hand. Before applying I would recommend swatching  on the back of the hand before apply to remove excess.

Blush 1: Light pink with a blue tone that has a sheen finish. The texture of the powder is soft and silky. This shade was frustrating to work with because its hard to apply. When I first applied it I used a lot of product because I kept getting a patchy application. I would try to reapply to hide the patches but it would never work. I hated this blush because the color washed me out and the sheen wasn’t flattering. Also the finish didn’t look good on me because it was so blotchy. The best application for me was to only apply the tiniest amount. I no longer had a problem with patchy application. Using the a tiny amount of blush also made me look decent. The sheen was more of a dewy finish with a slight tint which I fell in love with. I refrained from using highlight anytime I used this blush because the dewy was all i needed. After 5 hours the pigment started to fade. However after 7 hours the dewy finish started to fade in patches. This blush reminds me of NYX Rogue Cream Blush in Boho Chic from the application to the finish. What I love is that I can use these 2 blushes together to make my blush last longer. I apply NYX Rogue Cream Blush in Boho Chic first then set it with this BH Cosmetics powder blush. Using this method I get 9 hours of wear before it starts to fade.
Blush 2: Starburst pink with a light shimmer. I adore this shade because it can easily be worn with a natural look. It has a soft but powdery texture. I had to use a very light hand when dipping the brush into the pan because it easily picks up the powder. Each time I had to tap the brush to let some of the excess powder fall before applying. Application is a piece of cake. I just light swirl from the apples of my cheeks outwards. It applied evenly and took no effort at all to blend. For such a light color I expected this blush to fade quickly. But I was impressed that it lasted for 9 hours. This blush pairs perfectly with my Too Faced Pink Leopard Bronzer.
Blush 3: A matte punch pink! I didn’t think I would like this shade because I thought the pink would be too overwhelming for my skintone. However it grew on me when I was using it for a natural look. And I found that it went with most makeup looks. The texture is thin and a bit dry but still silky at the same time. I found that a little goes a long way. I have used this shade a lot and it still doesn’t seem I made a dent in the pan. Application is a bit tricky. I first applied a little as possible and I was satisfied with the finish. However when I applied more product to intensify the blush it became terribly patchy. Blending with a little product is easy to do, with a ton of product it impossible to blend everything together so the patches are no longer there. I found that the only fix is to apply a different blush that is the same color to fill in the patches. Its best not to over apply using this blush. Sadly this matte punch pink blush last for 6 hours which is not a long time.
Blush 4: A coral peach with a shimmery finish. The texture is a bit thin but silky. The blush is easy to pick up on the brush. For application I can lightly put it on or build it up. If I build it up too much, its an easy fix because the blush blends out so nicely. I can wear it with a highlighter or without since its on the shimmery side. Last for 10 hours.
Blush 5: Deep red with a matte finish. Has a very silky but thin texture. I have to have a very very light hand during the whole process or else it looks hideous. I have to dip the brush in the pan once lightly for each cheek. Then swirl the brush on the apples of my cheeks lightly as well. Using a heavy hand and dipping it in the pan one to many times can make the finish look bold and overdone. The overdone finish can be very sheer in the middle and with a harsh bold pigment on the edges. Its best to use the light handed route plus it goes better with more looks. Last for 8 hours.

Blush 6: Peach bronze finish. The texture is thin and silky. Applies like a dream, with no patchiness. I used this shade the most since it looked beautiful on my skintone and goes with most looks. With this blush I don’t need to use a highlight because it has a bronze glow to it. But when I do use a highlighter it pairs perfectly with The Balm Betty-Lou Manizer. This blush last for 10 hours before starting to fade.
Blush 7: Mauve pink with a matte finish. Its one of my favorites I used it mostly with natural look, so basically everyday. I can already see the outlined of the pan because I use it so much. I like it so much because it can never look over done, nice and light. The texture feels a bit grainy when I touch it but once I apply it to my skin it turns to silk. This blush is easy to blend out even with the lightest swirl! Around the 8 hour wear mark the blush starts to fade.
Blush 8: Bubble gum pink with a matte finish. The texture is chalky and thin. I dip my brush and the powder picks up well. Easily evenly applies on my cheeks. I can build up without worrying of making a mistake. It last for 8 hours before it starts to fade.
Blush 9: Raspberry pink with a matte finish. One of my least favorite blush in this palette. I hated it from application to finish. The brush tends to pick up a lot of powder when dipped in the blush pan. I swatch it on my hand a bit before applying to the cheek. When I apply it to my cheek it tends to be pigmented so I have to use a very light hand with it. But no matter what I do the application always ends up patchy. If I try to fix the patches it ends up with a lot of pigment in the wrong place. The blush only lasts about 5 hours tops before it fades away completely, at least it doesn’t look patchy by then!
Blush 10: Red with a matte finish. One of my favorite red blush in a while. The texture is powdery, the brush is able to grab the product easily. I don’t have to use that much product because a little goes a long way. Applies pretty well and evenly. Blending it is easy and simple. Last for 8 hours before it starts to fade.
