Hey, student loans payments are coming back in October, you should know about the SAVE plan.

this is america-centric but pls spread this around if you think any of ur mutuals could use the info.

If you're currently shitting yourself thinking how you're gonna start making student loan payments again, I suggest taking a deep breath, first off. Get comfy, put on some music and strap in.

If you got your student loans through the Federal Student Aid program FAFSA, then you can apply for an IDR (Income Driven Repayment plan) called SAVE.

what is SAVE?

This got my $115 monthly payment down to $40 a month, if you don't work or you can't afford much, this has the potential to reduce your payment even further.

Alls you need to do is go to https://studentaid.gov/idr/ and log into your federal student aid account, there's a section for both first time applicants and returning borrowers who previously may have had an IDR.

Even if you've done an IDR before! Look into the SAVE plan!! It forgave about 10k of debt for me!

Anyway, first time applicants can click the first option, "Apply for an Income-Driven Repayment Plan" and just go through and answer all their prompts, make sure you have all your financial information on hand (tax returns, most recent pay stub, etc) and go through the prompts until it gives you the option to apply for the SAVE plan. CLICK IT!

It should let you know at the end exactly how much you'll be paying per month and you should get an email confirmation as well. Any account specific questions should be directed to their call center +1 (800) 433-3243

fuck it, original post because i'm pissed and have no idea what else i can do.

TL;DR: i was going to be in my new house today, but we got fucked over and are playing a waiting game for an extra 10 days. requesting donations to make sure i can eat while i'm stuck here.

so 2 days ago, we got up at 5 am, packed all of our remaining belongings, packed up the cats, and began a roadtrip to our new house in new york. we were gonna stop for the night halfway, then make the rest of the trip the next day.

my mom gets a call from our attorney while we're halfway through south carolina that the house was in fact NOT empty like we were told, and the man in there was refusing to leave, stating he had movers coming on the 28th and he would not be moved before then.

so, given we were transporting 5 people and 6 cats, we made the decision to turn around and drive ALL THE WAY BACK to a completely barren house, because we were promised compensation for travel expenses and bedding and shit related to this issue if we did that, and could not be assured compensation if we tried to wait it out in a hotel.

i had to quit my job on jan 17 because we were going to leave at the end of jan, but things got delayed until this point, and now i'm staring down AT LEAST another month without any income, and i'm fucking scared.

i know everyone is strapped for money right now and i absolutely hate begging like this, but at this point even five dollars is better than what i got right now. any donations will go towards food while i'm here and groceries for the new place.

And I hadn't originally checked the OP's tags but after I got this in my inbox I rushed over to check and YESSSS OP GETS IT OP GETS IT!!! In general, Leto is someone who is overlooked a lot in mythology - she's put in the same general category as a lot of Zeus' affairs where she exists to be pretty and tragic and innocent in contrast to Hera's imposingness and strict focus on order and face but considering Leto's lineage, that's simply not true. Like OP pointed out, if there is anyone who matches Hera power for power, both in terms of divine identity and regard, it's Leto. Zeus' regard and respect of her (and by extension, his love of her) I feel are extensions of that importance of Leto from a cosmic perspective. Leto, after all, was still a daughter of Coeus and Phoebe, the Titans of the heavenly and earthly centers of knowledge.

So really, all things considered, it makes sense that Leto is That Girl because only That Girl could birth and raise Him and Her respectively, let's be so for real, right now.
