welcome to the Scooter Legacy! (2024)

2024 because i started it last year technically. here are the parameters for this save:

lepacy. cause duh. so, each generation is centred around an expansion pack + game pack OR a couple of stuff packs. every generation has goals so it isn't just me dicking around but the goals are pretty light, easy to hit, so i don't go too hard in the other direction and make shit unfun in a different way.

2 science babies or alternate ways of achieving offspring like alien abduction or adoption. or asspreg but we're gonna try n avoid that this time around.

no story. this is my Fun save where Fun things happen. and if a lil story were to happen...? well. you know me, always fuckin lying

additionally, i am always in awe and inspired by @natolesims / @dustbon's gameplay and editing style so if you see similarities, it's bc i'm paying homage to an icon. thank u nat!

its so funny to me that like two months ago i was just like "huh whats this nerdy prudes stuff, that one animatic looked cool i guess ill watch it" and now in the past liek two weeks ive fallen so down the starkid rabbit hole that im spending almost every day just wathcing these stupid musicals over and over again. literally watching nerdy prudes as we speak. watched working boys in class earlier. finished black friday again just earlier today. i keep drawing these stupid guys when i cant listen to it. sigh

you know i think its really stupid how almost anything can have a counter argument

i saw a nosferatu popcorn bucket and thought “wow, really?” because i dont understand why its so special to have a container for your snack that fits the theme of a movie you’re going to watch once and probably never see again. i understand marketing and “its fun!” because thats why people buy most unnecessary things, because it brings them -albeit temporary- joy. i understand they want to make profit for their movie so the artists can get paid for all their hard work and everyone in society has a role and we want entertainment, so we pay to see the movie, pay for the snack and pay for the extra popcorn bucket with our money that we earned so other people can earn their money, making these opportunities available to us to have media to consume. and repeat. from the director, writer, actor, editor, costume designer, hair stylist, makeup artist, graphic designer, advertiser, to movie theatre employee - we all have jobs and they all earn their money from me spending mine. im the same, i make my money from people buying necessities like milk and eggs. but it all feels so transactional - of course im not directly paying anyone and people arent directly paying me, its this constant flow of money and whatnot. i think having specific popcorn buckets for movies is a smart tactic because they know people will buy it but i still scoff at it because it seems like a waste of plastic - not that people need help wasting it - but both sides can be argued; that its stupid and a waste - and - that its simply another marketing tactic, made for people to have a special memory or keepsake from this movie but truth is? it matters so much yet so little. so much of life is contradictory, high school students internationally have a club simply for debate since its so easy to argue opposing sides to nearly any topic.

So far, with only like 9.5 fics written, my Femslash February word count is at like 20k words. Inktober ended with 57k over the course of 31 fics. So, uh... I hope you women lovers are excited, because there's certainly going to be some Content!

8:00pm-9:00pm - cry

9:00pm-11:00pm -watch silly videos

11:00pm - go to sleep
