As soon as I began receiving asks about Junior regarding my body swap concept a few days ago, I knew I wanted to add him in a short sequence. 💙

I've considered many different scenes in which he would be included, but there was one in particular that kept coming back to my mind, and it was the exact moment he would agree to safely lead Luigi to "Bowser" (aka Mario). In this specific scenario, he would be mostly oblivious to what's going on, and would thus show palpable mistrust towards Luigi at first, who he doesn't really know and hasn't yet opened up to. But upon seeing how distraught the poor man is, Junior would feel for him and let his guard down. 🤲

can I just say how much I really respect Matt for taking this episode by the horns and really changing it for the better. Because this episode killed, this episode was fucking great, and we wouldn’t have had so much of the good scary stuff if Link had actually fought her. In the teen talk last week they were all talking about how they had to split up from here, there was nothing else they could do, and yet they didn’t. It’s something I’ve always respected about Matt’s characters, their conviction in all their decisions. I just idk the episode as so good I loved it so much and Link was fucking great especially

one thing that annoys me so much about the dgs localization is that susato calls asougi "kazuma-sama" but uses -san or no honorific for everyone else. when in fact the reason "kazuma-sama" hits so hard is that in the original japanese, susato calls everyone -sama (yes, including ryuu!). she constantly uses the most polite language possible, which generally means everyone older than her is [last name]-sama (ryuu, sherlock, gregson) and everyone her age or below is [first name]-sama (haori, iris, gina)

so one mystery that should linger in the back of the player's mind even in dgs 1 is: why does she call asougi by his first name?

Wherein Miles Morales did NOT snark at his adversaries while chomping on an empanada to cope, and listened reluctantly to Spots instead. Them both unlocking an unexpected intergenerational friendship. Spots and Miles being high-key chaotic science bros, grudging mentor-mentee relationship, a highschooler as a leash to thy sanity, most reluctant reintegration of a supervillain to society. Ever. Maybe slightly codependent.
